The Day the White House Press Corps Went Full ChiCom Propaganda

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Thanks to Jonathan Karl for making my point for me. – I have repeatedly noted in recent weeks the fact that pretty much all of the big corporations who own all of the nation’s fake, corrupt news media outlets have been infected with ChiCom money and business interests just as America has been infected with the ChiCom-generated Wuhan Virus.

As if to emphasize that point for me, ABC News’s Jonathan Karl, the current head of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) invited a “reporter” from a Hong Kong-based media operation that is in fact majority owned by ChiCom interests, including a former propaganda officer for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to question the President of the United States of America.

Here’s an excerpt from a report at The National Pulse:

The Hong Kong/Cayman Islands based Phoenix Media is actually owned in large part by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and by a former CCP propaganda officer.

As of 2018, Phoenix Satellite Holdings was owned by Liu Changle (37.1% of shares). Changle is a “former PLA propaganda official who is close to senior Chinese government leaders”.

Changle previously worked as a propaganda officer for China National Radio (then known as the Central People’s Broadcasting Station).

A further 20 percent of the company is owned by Extra Step Investments Limited, in turn owned by China Mobile Hong Kong, which itself is owned by the Chinese government-owned China Mobile.

Eight more percent of the company is owned by China Wise Investment Ltd, owned by the Bank of China.

This means at least 65 percent of the company is owned by the government of China.

For journalist Youyou Wang to claim she works for a private company is an outright lie.

[End]

Karl, one of the most execrable hacks in the entirety of the corrupt press corps, obviously hoped that the planted propagandist could entrap the President into giving some sort of controversial answer that would generate negative fake news stories. But Trump, as is his habit, immediately caught onto the ruse and called the ChiCom out.

Watch this clip, followed by a transcript:

Transcript:

Trump: [The ChiCom government] has agreed to spend $250 billion, many billions of dollars in our country, much of it going to farmers and manufacturers. So, I’ll let you know – I hope they’re going to honor the deal, I’ll let you know.

ChiCom Propagandist: Are you cooperating with China?

Trump: Who are you working for, China? Are you with China, are you with a news paper? Who are you working for?

ChiCom Propagandist: I don’t work for the…Hong Kong Phoenix TV.

Trump: Who owns that, China? Is it owned by China?

ChiCom Propagandist: It’s based in Hong Kong.

Trump: Is it owned by China? Is it owned by the State?

ChiCom Propagandist: No, it’s not, it’s a private owned company.

Trump: Yeah, ok.

Look, I’ll let you know. I’ll give you a good answer in a few months. I want to just see what they do. Because it’s time for them to help us. It’s time, right now, for China to help us. And hopefully they do. And if they don’t, that’s ok, too. But we signed a deal, it was signed with great good will and spirit. And it’s time that our farmers benefitted, that our manufacturers benefited, and we’ll see whether or not that deal is honored.

I think it will be because I know President Xi, who I like and respect. I think he will honor the deal he made with us. It just went into effect four days ago. I would … we’ll see whether he does or not. In fact, I called up, just a little while ago, I said, how are the farmers doing with respect to China? Are they buying the product as anticipated? And the answer was, yeah, I think so, but it wasn’t the most positive. But it was starting, the deal was just getting started. So, I’ll let you know.

For many many years, China ate our lunch because we had people in this position I’m in right now that allowed China to get away with absolute murder.

ChiCom Propagandist: [tries to interrupt with a question about the virus]

Trump: [ignores her] But we are now dealing with China and we’ll see what happens.

[End]

Now, it wasn’t the most controversial of exchanges because President Trump quickly realized who he was talking with. But I wanted to memorialize it here because it captures the moment when the White House press corps, which includes all of our nation’s major corrupt media outlets, went full-on into the tank for a clear and present enemy of our country.

We are at war with China whether the media wants to admit it or not. The ChiCom government intentionally and with clear malice attacked us and most other nations of the world with a virus that will end up killing thousands and very likely causing the most severe global recession since the Great Depression.

Inviting this propaganda agent for the ChiCom government is no different than if the WHCA had brought in a Nazi or Japanese propagandist there in 1943, or a Russian propagandist into the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

President Trump told the nation in January of 2017 that these corrupt and highly-compromised media operations were the enemies of the people. Yesterday, Jonathan Karl and the WHCA went out of their way to unambiguously prove that point. This was the moment when the thin veil came completely off.

There is no worse, more destructive class of people in our country than the members of the WHCA and the media operations that employ them.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger.com is my go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

So the endpiece of this story is that, while the “reporter” was allowed by the White House Press Corp, they won’t allow a reporter who is from a Conservative site. I mean they WON’T ALLOW her, physically, and when she was invited by the Whitehouse…

Leftwing Media Try to Block OANN from White House Briefing Room
Threatened by conservative media outlet’s growing clout. (headline)

“OANN has most recently been the victim of blatant viewpoint discrimination at the hands of the leftwing White House Correspondents Association (WHCA), which arbitrarily voted on April 1st to bar OANN’s White House correspondent Chanel Rion from the daily White House Coronavirus Task Force press briefings. Her “sin” was asking President Trump a question that hit too close to home, after various White House correspondents had used the race card against President Trump for calling the virus that originated in China the “Chinese virus.” At the March 19th briefing, after introducing the concern that “major left-wing media, even in this room, have teamed up with Chinese communist party narratives,” Rion asked President Trump to comment. “It amazes me when I read the things that I read,” President Trump replied.
The leftwing media retaliated against OANN’s White House correspondent for speaking truth to power. First, an anonymous note was left on Rion’s desk asking her whether she thought her question was helpful in halting the spread of the coronavirus. Three days later, the White House Correspondents Association mandated that the seat assigned to OANN since 2017, which for years was shared by only one other news organization, now accommodate five networks, including Al Jazeera. OANN’s seat was singled out for such treatment. On March 23rd, OANN was placed in the “supplemental Seat Rotation,” a shared seat with a total of 10 media outlets. OANN for all intents and purposes lost any reasonable opportunity to participate in the briefings as a result of the WHCA’s discriminatory edict. When OANN managed to secure an invitation from the White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham for Rion to stand in the back of the briefing room, the White House Correspondents Association dropped the hammer and sought to close the briefing room door to OANN altogether.”

Summary: the WHCA (White House Correspondents Association) invites a rep who is from a CCP-backed organization, a Communist front, but refuses an American patriot in good standing.

Mini Mike the China Asset isn’t the only one who should register as an agent of a foreign country; the WHCA ought to, also. “Our” fine press, at work.

Oh, and by the way, Dr. Birx addressed the elephant in the room on Hannity, which is off-label use of drugs and hydroxychloroquine; she said that off-label use is between a person and their doctor, and she thanked President Trump for his efforts on this valuable drug.

Close to an apology as we’re gonna get:

(White House coronavirus task force response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx joined “Hannity” Monday to answer questions surrounding the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine and its experimental use to fight the coronavirus.

“I think we do a lot of drug use off-label. Physicians do all the time. And I think that’s why the president made it very clear that this is up to the physician and the patient. And what the president has worked really hard on is making sure that the medication is available in pharmacies and hospitals around the United States,” Birx told host Sean Hannity. “So physicians have the ability to make that choice. At the same time, there are rigorous clinical trials going on both by the WHO [World Health Organization] and NIH [National Institutes of Health] to look at this drug and other drugs that are under development.”

The OANN reporter was standing in the back of the room today and Trump took her question.

A media mouthpiece started to ask a question about the gas prices; Trump stopped them and ask them what the price of gas was. They said they didn’t know what it was. Trump said get back to me when you do and then took a question from someone else.

    HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

The press ‘correspondents’ have a union?

When Trump justifiably barred CNN’s resident pig Acosta from the WH press briefings CNN et al went to the courts saying his “free speech” rights were (somehow) being violated and somehow the WH was forced to reinstate Acosta.

Someone, Anyone, please explain to me how this case with OANN’s White House correspondent Chanel Rion is any different?

I mean Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is going on here???

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

The WHCA thinks it owns the briefing room; it does not: the Whitehouse’ response is that this is the property of the United States of America; The Playboy “news” organization tried to get access to the briefings, and was supported by their peers, but the Whitehouse is supported by the DOJ on this.

How a Commie-representative got there is something that needs to be closely examined. It’s clear that President Trump was aware, and made it clear that he was aware.

My guess is that he let this happen to show China how a free press is supposed to be done, even though they had no business sending their representative to OUR briefing. China doesn’t have the first idea of how to do anything free – unless they take your organs from you (for free!) Or your land (uncompensated.) Or your Bible, which they will replace with a phony version, approved by the CCP. Conclusion? China sucks.

  3. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

Dave’s comparison of the White House Communists Association (WHCA) is perfect:

“Inviting this propaganda agent for the ChiCom government is no different than if the WHCA had brought in a Nazi or Japanese propagandist there in 1943, or a Russian propagandist into the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis.”

Yes, we are at war. As I said in another thread, this isn’t a war with the Chinese people, but with the CCP, which did a reverse-Eugenics on their population with all the purges of the brightest, best and most creative. Seems now they’ve killed a lot of their physicians in the process of allowing this virus to spread.

Taiwan is the Chinese Brain Trust, along with Hong Kong. Stupid Commies never learn.

  4. Gregg - April 7, 2020

    I recently heard good news:

Back when things were ‘normal’ in February, the president was in India on a highly successful foreign relations trip. Apparently he made real progress with the world’s largest democracy.

It was announced that India will soon be supplying the US with millions (I think I heard 29 million) of hydroxychloroquine doses, circumventing China’s near monopoly on medical supplies to the US. Good job Mr. President.

Meanwhile, I also heard one of the Bush ‘foundations’ somehow sent like two million masks to China (as far as I know it was not a satire news story), while the New England Patriots’ owner , Bob Kraft after much bureaucratic red tape sent the team Jet to China to pick up medical supplies.

The plane had to bring its own spare parts (tires etc.) and was only given a three hour window to land in China, get the supplies and refuel. You cannot make this stuff up.

Who needs the “Onion” and others for satire? We are living in a world of satire.

Twelve years ago no one would believe the BS that is going on now.

What will things be like twelve years from now?

      More levity from the Left:

“Virginia Governor Ralph Northam loved wearing blackface. His yearbook photos were the talk of mainstream media for a few minutes when his racist indiscretions from the past were revealed. But that story died quickly after a bit of virtue signaling from the left. Eventually, all was forgiven.
He thought it was all behind him until today when he was demonstrating the use of a face mask. A black… face… mask. NBC Washington tried to be clever about it when they posted, “In a striking moment, Gov. Ralph Northam put on his own black face mask. He urged every Virginian to do the same.”’

      1. brian - April 7, 2020

THAT is hilarious… but at the same time not…

        1. David Blackmon - April 7, 2020

          I know, right?

        2. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

The tweet was quickly deleted by NBC. One supposes the reporter is now confined in some dark gulag….

  5. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

There are claims on various alternative media sources that some of the equipment shipped from
China is infected with the CCP virus. Cannot verify, but alarming if true.

  6. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

The CCP reporter v. OANN reporter: it would be interesting to see them seated next to each other. And for some of the failed reporters to have to wait outside. I don’t mind a Chicom reporter sitting there, because it show that we have a superior system – a Free Press.

Other than the fake American press, owned by foreign interests (and idiot billionaires whose main ambition is population reduction and Eugenics – and microchipping all Americans.)

    1. Jonesy - April 7, 2020

We may have a superior system to the CCP (Free Press), but when the Chicom reporter is invited in and the OAN reporter is physically barred from entering, we sure aren’t living up to it. Jonathan Karl can eat a bag of d*cks

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

He’d probably have some other use for them, if you get my drift. Just sayin’.

  7. njlamer - April 7, 2020

    DEPORT all Chinese nations immediately..

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

A lot of “Chinese” are from the real China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. And many of the Chinese people are victims – Christians especially. But it is a good idea to keep your eyes open – there are a lot of collaborators of all races and national origin(s.) The worst problem is the Chinese nationals who have deep ties to the Chinese military, and haven’t declared their connections.

  8. Cynthia - April 7, 2020

So, so proud of our President!

  9. D3F1ANT - April 7, 2020

How is it that we keep uncover Chinese spies (or, more loosely, propagandists and agents provocateur) and nobody is ever charged or punished? It’s astounding that Democrats can collude so intimately–and overtly–with enemies of America and just keep on truckin’! it’s amazing. There used to be consequences for colluding with enemies of the state.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

There aren’t enough jails to hold all the Demonrats, (even if you open up FEMA camps and Guantanamo.) Of course, the benefit of Dem governors releasing criminals is that there’s now gonna be more room for Demonrats and FBI/CIA/DIA types who engaged in sedition, treason and RICO.

I can hold my breath a long time (once did 3 minutes a long time ago!) so I’m still holding it for the Day of Days.

      1. Gregg - April 7, 2020

There are other alternatives to releasing prisoners to solve the virus spread or overcrowding…

        Just sayin’

    2. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

Medical advice for CCP, Dems and the press (but I repeat myself) for CCP Virus treatment:

Step one: hold your breath a long time
      Step two: let it out
      Step three: don’t inhale

After awhile, you won’t have CCP virus to deal with.

      1. brian - April 7, 2020

They may need assistance with step three…. just an observation… don’t want them cheating….

        1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

A plastic bag can be a handy tool to prevent cheating!

  10. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

The thread topic is the traitorous media, but many other people–most of them Democrats–have also shamed themselves by their craven opportunistic actions during this crisis.

    Case in point:

    https://www.redstate.com/brandon_morse/2020/04/07/dallas-judge-tries-to-use-coronavirus-to-politically-posture-but-greg-abbott-isnt-having-it/

Can anyone guess the party affiliation of this clown?

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

      CCP?

  11. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

Wonder why the press corps don’t ask Fauci about his apparent or alleged conflict of interest with money connections vis a vis “Bill the Cat” Gates’ foundations?

Not suggesting direct payments, but Gates’ vaccine? Pushing vaccines instead of early solutions? Smells like 3 day old carp.

Of course we know why they don’t ask him, don’t we? CCP/DNC Press. Maybe he should hide before someone brave asks him these question(s?) I’d like to see Sharyl Attkisson at one of these pressers. She’d ask.

    1. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

She would be great, but I don’t think she would do it. She’s quite selective about how she goes about things.

      1. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

To clarify, I mean attend the White House briefing as part of the pool, not ask the question itself.

        1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

She’d be a lion amongst demented field chimps. Mmmm, what’s on the menu today? (chimp)

  12. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

As pointed out by sundance, what was even worse was that Fauci gave the weasel Karl a thumbs-up as he departed the podium.

I think Trump needs to get rid of this guy, and I am sure Navarro is telling him just that.

  13. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

    Just in from Liberty Daily:

“Lawrence Sellin Ph.D. is a retired colonel with 29 years of service in the U.S. Army Reserve, who previously worked at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.
In a recent op ed, he writes that while “there appears to be a politically-motivated campaign to demonstrate that CoVid-19 occurred naturally as a species ‘jump’ from animals to humans originating in the Wuhan wet market…there is still little evidence that directly supports that contention.”

“Instead, Sellin posits that the origin of the virus is more likely to be a lab leak, arguing that “the technology to create a coronavirus chimera has been demonstrated,” and “deadly viruses have previously ‘leaked’ out of Chinese virology labs in two separate incidents.”

“Given the illness, death and economic destruction caused by CoVid-19, it is the responsibility of the Chinese government to fully open its research files and databases to international inspection, including information about the hundreds of coronavirus isolates, in order to ascertain the true origin of the Chinese CoVid-19 coronavirus.” Sellin urges.

    https://summit.news/2020/04/07/us-army-colonel-coronavirus-was-leaked-from-a-chinese-lab/

Another set of questions the DNC-CCP press won’t ask about.

    1. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

I’m of the mind that there is not definitive evidence to tell either way, although as Brian has noted the circumstances are quite suspicious.

The needed data is indeed in the Chinese lab, but that will not be forthcoming. Thus there will be no changing the media narrative.

I still think the most likely explanation is that the zoonotic transfer happened in the lab where they were working with the viral strains, but that it is not bioengineered. The genomic sequence data from labs around the world do not show evidence of novel additions, and it appears to infect cells using the same mechanism as SARS.

  14. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

Off topic, but Martin Shkreli wants out of jail to “help” with the virus.

The other day, I asked a question about whether or not the drug Daraprim might be used for the virus, since the two others that seem to be very effective are parasites (thanks, Phineas or Brian?) Toxoplasma Gondii – (the parasite) – was cheap and effective until Turing got ahold of it via Shkreli – (the other parasite) – and now he wants another shot at making a huge amount of money? He denies a profit motive, but…

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/pharma-genius-martin-shkreli-pitches-prison-exit-to-develop-coronavirus-vaccine

The drug should be tried off-label to see if it works (it’s been around a long time, and doesn’t have a lot of liabilities) and the patent should be taken from the PIG Pharma company which still has a jacked up price. Let others compete to make it, at a reduced price (like original price?)

    1. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

I don’t think that would in any way be legal–patent protections are in place to encourage companies to invest the money needed to develop drugs. And I don’t think I would want to see government authority used that way–there’s already too much of it going on.

However, I think an appeal could be made to the company to temporarily relinquish their protections in a time of national crisis. I don’t think it would be denied since these pharmaceutical companies have to maintain good public and political relations.

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - April 7, 2020

Turing didn’t develop the drug; they bought it. Check out the story – it’s disgusting.

    2. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

Pyrimethamine interferes with folate metabolism, much like methotrexate, which impairs DNA and RNA synthesis. For this reason, I suspect it would have greater side effects.

    3. phineas gage - April 7, 2020

Also, Moe Szyslak is a completely corrupt sleazebag; if possible he is worse than Whitmer:

The fake news never give up trying to trap President Trump one would think they ought to call it quits by now but that aint gona happen. They think and try to make Trump look like a dunce every day it aint workin. Why in the name of Sam Hill cant they just admit that the President is a lot smarter than they are and start treating him with a little respect and see how that works.I believe that most people that used to watch these communist reporters are fed up with their BS and know they are fake news and nothing but the propaganda arm of the dem/communist party.
