Lindsey Graham: I’m Gonna End This as Quickly as I Can for the Good of the Country

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Sen. Lindsey Graham turned up on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo earlier today. He only did one segment, but a lot was said about the impeachment process. Graham, as is his habit, tossed out a lot of red meat that will infuriate some observers and please others, and vice versa. He got all sides covered, as usual.

His basic message was this: Impeachment is tearing the country apart, and because of that he is not going to extend it by doing things like allowing the President of the United States to call the witnesses he wants, or to force Adam Schiff to testify under oath about his pre-dealings with Eric Ciaramella, who everyone knows is the fake whistleblower who kicked this whole thing off. There will be no testimony from Hunter Biden or Joe Biden or Alexandra Chalupa or anyone else, if Graham has his way.

Graham’s grand plan is to – I kid you not – give the Democrats one more bite at the apple, allow them to present their slanderous joke of a “case” on national TV one more time, and then hold a vote if he has 51 Senators who will vote “yay” or “nay.” He promises the President will be acquitted, but with this guy, who really knows?

Below is a clip of Graham’s interview with Bartiromo, followed by a transcript provided after great and laborious effort for our voracious readers by your friends at the Campaign Update. Judge Sen. Graham’s intentions for yourselves.

Bartiromo plays clip of Graham on November 10, lambasting Schiff and House Dems for not allowing the “whistleblower” – CIA plant Eric Ciaramella – to testify, and saying that impeachment is “dead on arrival” when it lands in the Senate, largely as a result of that failure.

Bartiromo: You said that to me a few weeks ago – does it still apply today?

Graham: Well, the whole process is illegitimate in the house. It’s not just the whistleblower. You don’t want to create a situation where an anonymous person can start impeachment proceedings against a president of the United States. You can’t get a parking ticket based on an anonymous allegation. The hearings were held behind closed doors, the Intel committee gathered all the facts, the President’s lawyer was never allowed to participate, they asked to call witnesses in the Judiciary committee, they had one hearing of the Judiciary committee with 4 law professors and Nancy Pelosi said we’re gonna move forward with the articles of impeachment.

This is a joke of a process. It’s dangerous to the country, it’s the first impeachment scenario in the country started in-house, not with outside counsel.  Whitewater – Prosecutor Ken Starr. You had Mueller looking at all things Russia and Trump, you had prosecutors in the Nixon case, outside the system.  This is being driven by Schiff and Nadler, Pelosi – partisan people – and I think it’s gonna meet a quick end in the Senate.

Bartiromo: Who are some of the people you are gonna want to hear from if in fact this does go to a trial?  Are you gonna demand that people like the whistleblower, Adam Schiff, Alexandra Chalupa, Fusion GPS – are these some of the people you’re gonna want to question?

Graham: There’s two ways to do this. In the trial, you can have the President present a defense to prove the fact that maybe the Ukraine was interfering in our election. The Russians stole the emails, not the Ukraine, but there’s articles suggesting that Ukrainian officials met with Democratic operatives in 2016. I don’t know if that’s true.

But here’s what I’m gonna do with the trial: I’m gonna try to get this over as quickly as possible. Listen to what the house case…let them present their case, and if there’s nothing new and dramatic, I would be ready to vote and we can do all this other stuff through congressional oversight [which of course will never happen in Graham’s committee].

Bartiromo: So, are you saying you are not gonna have people come down and test…

Graham: I am saying that I’m gonna end this as quickly as I can for the good of the country. When 51 of us say we have heard enough, the trial is going to end. The President’s gonna be acquitted. He wanna call Schiff, he may wanna call Hunter Biden, he may wanna call Joe Biden, but here’s my advice to the President: If the Senate is ready to vote and ready to acquit you, you should celebrate that and we can look at this other stuff outside of impeachment. Impeachment is tearing the country apart, I don’t wanna give it any more credibility than it deserves.

Bartiromo: Well, it’s interesting that you say that, because for all of this time – yes, they’re trying to rush this through, the Democrats want to get this done before the end of the year, and before the Iowa Caucuses and before we learn more about the IG Report, and yet there seems to have been a wrecking ball thrown at our democracy with Adam Schiff getting peoples’ phone records…I mean, what do you think about that? Schiff getting the phone records of Devin Nunes, of John Solomon?

Graham: I think it’s dangerous. What he did was, I think, looking a Rudy, and Rudy made some calls to these folks…

Bartiromo:…so Rudy’s not allowed to make these phone calls???

Graham: No, he certainly can. But here’s what I would tell Adam Schiff: Do you really wanna start calling other members, Republicans, members of congress in oversight? Do you want me to call you to the Senate as part of Senate oversight? Where does this insanity go?

Bartiromo: So will you call him?

Graham: No I will not.

Bartiromo: Why?

Graham: ‘Cause I’m not gonna participate in things I think will destroy the country. I’m not gonna call a bunch of House members to come to the Senate as part of oversight. Now, if you’re a House member and you participated, you’re not subject, you’re not above the law, but we’re not gonna turn the Senate into a circus. And I would  tell Schiff: What you’re doing is very dangerous for the separation of powers here.

Bartiromo: Just the idea of getting that information into the public view, so that the public can start speculating, ‘oh, why did Giuliani make that call, and why was John Solomon on the phone with Giuliani,’ it’s…

Graham: Adam Schiff is doing a lot of damage to the country, and he needs to stop. Mueller spent two years and $25 million looking a Trump. This whole Ukrainian stuff is a joke. They got the money. The got the meeting with the President. They didn’t investigate Joe Biden or Hunter Biden. There is no ‘there’ there.

Bartiromo: I understand, but it’s not stopping, Senator. You say, he needs to stop, but it’s not, for three years he said ‘collusion’ is in plain sight.

Graham: Yeah, well the guy…

Bartiromo: Where’s the accountability for that? Let me hear your thoughts on the IG report, do you think that’s…

Graham: The accountability comes in November 2020 when the public sees what the House has done with their majority. They’ve spent all their time trying to destroy the Trump presidency, they’ve done nothing beneficial to the American people. You know who may be the most valuable player for the Republican Party in the 2020 election cycle? It’s Adam Schiff [who Lindsey refuses to call to testify].

Bartiromo: unh-huh.

Now, we could argue this either way. Graham’s argument that a quick resolution in the Senate is best for the country has merit: There is no question that this impeachment fiasco has been horrible for our country.

But to just call a vote after giving these despicable Democrats another nationally-televised chance to lay out their joke of a case? To do that without giving the accused a chance to defend himself by laying out a case of his own not only seems unfair, but also completely contrary to the American system of justice.

The very concept should be frankly offensive to Lindsey Graham, the former lawyer. But to Lindsey Graham the current politician, acolyte to the detestable John McCain – whose own hands are dirty in all of this – and longtime friend of Quid Pro Joe Biden, well, it no doubt sounds fantastic.

Bottom line: While this impeachment clown show has obviously been terrible for the country, what is really tearing our country apart is our ongoing bifurcated system of justice, which Graham’s proposed solution here would only serve to strengthen.

P.S.: No one should forget this moment from Graham and McCain:

The more you know…

That is all.

What the Dems. are doing is not terrible for the country.

What is going to be terrible for the country is for their transgressions to be swept under the rug, buried by the MSM and history, and not stopped through severe punishment so that we don’t get a repeat performance every time there is a GOP president. Ignoring crime and criminal behavior is a crime. Unpunished crime is a another crime against the victims who need for justice to be served.

Crimes and misdeeds that go unpunished, will only be perpetuated.

Bringing all this to light in a looooong and protracted senate trial is the only way the vast majority of the American public is going to see the Democrats for the power hungry at any cost Marxists they are. It is part of a necessary cleansing process of a corrupted form of government that has been inflicted upon this republic. The left, and the Dems desperately need a laxative and an enema! Asshats like Grahamesty are only serving to constipate the process.

“And I would tell Schiff: What you’re doing is very dangerous for the separation of powers here”.

Oh Boy, that’s telling him Lindsay, I’ll bet A. B. S(chiff) is wetting himself, just cowering in the corner, and getting ready to pray for forgiveness along with Nancy Putin for hurting the country so much.

Grow up you child, grow a pair of shakers, or get out of the “Big Leagues” of DC politics!

You should also stay off TV unless and until you are going to get off you butt and DO SOMETHING REMOTELY CONSERVATIVE FOR YOUR COUNTRY!

Come on South Carolina, primary this guy and get a real senator who represents your conservative views/values!

    1. marty lopez - December 8, 2019

First, are you kidding us? What the Democrats are doing is most certainly bad for the country, terrible in fact. In fact, what the Democrats are doing is criminal in itself. It’s called obstruction and treason. The Democrats are trying to cover up the past Democratic crimes of Obama and Hillary as well as those of the DNC, FBI, DOJ, CIA and State department as well as others in which RINO scum like Lindsey Graham was complicit.

Second, dismissing it fast is a way of sweeping it under the rug as you note, which Graham wants to do as a way to cover it up. Graham is not up for reelection in 2020. He is a calculating POS in a federal government that smells like a public outhouse that hasn’t been cleaned in 50 years. When Trump is reelected we can only hope he will really radically transform this entire nation.

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 8, 2019

I think what Gregg is saying is this: there has been a great need for a power-wash to come and sweep out the criminal cabal that is the Deep State. The Demons could have just sat back and let President Trump be President, and not exposed themselves to what is to come – (and by that, I don’t mean the IG report, at which time we shall be able to determine if it’s IG Horowitz, or Whorowitz.)

Without the excesses by the Left, it would have continued to slowly fester and rot. They’re even moving faster than Barack al-Bama wanted them to move, and they are all in danger. Hopefully.

      2. Gregg - December 8, 2019

Marty, I am in no way am saying what the Dems are doing is not bad for the country; it most certainly is.

They are the spoiled brats of politics and the country will survive their antics – BUT ONLY if they are spanked hard for a long time, by a complete senate trial, and NOT placed in a timeout and left alone to come back with another republic damaging/destroying temper tantrum whenever they feel like it. Because another coup, or impeachment attempt will appear (Plan g, or Insurance Policy h, or Whistleblower I…) within a month after this senate trial ends.

Can’t Republicans see that this crap will not stop until it is stopped? A quick trial in the senate will have the effect of acquitting both Trump and the Dem. lead coup. No harm – no fowl. BS! These Dem actions are designed to paralyze Trump’s efforts to MAGA/KAG and also to make sure that no other NON – SWAMP CREATURE ever, EVER dares to run for president, and if another outsider even attempts to run, his friends, family, and associates will be destroyed.

I have never been one to call for a rubber stamp legislature like what dictators have, but the Dems usually blindly follow their presidents, or at least remain silent to allow their agenda to go forward.

In the 34 months DJT has been president I have not seen one act or policy of his that I have disagreed with or has been bad for America.

The left has shown its’ colors, and every Republican should be 100% behind DJT and his agenda. Here that senators Lindsay, Mutt, Suzy Q, Lisa, Lament, and any other go-along-to-get-along RINO in the house and senate.

I want them punished severely, politically destroyed, their criminals prosecuted and the bad actors jailed (at least), the creditability of their useful idiots in the MSM and in the general public exposed in the most clear way possible so that they fade from the annals of history like the Whig Party.

      3. larrythelogger - December 9, 2019

MARTY SAID: “Graham is not up for reelection in 2020.”

Really? I’m PRETTY SURE you are one hundred percent wrong.

“Harrison’s viability and justify future investments in the campaign to take out Republican U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in 2020.”

“South Carolina Senator and President Donald Trump loyalist Lindsey Graham is up for reelection in 2020 and it appears as though he could have a real fight on his hands.”

IF Graham disallows Trump from presenting a defense in the Senate impeachment trial, I will send campaign money to the Marxist communist running against Ms Graham. The Marxist will be no worse than this two faced deep state scum. I’m so sick of this Hannity “my good friend” senator.

  2. David Farrar - December 8, 2019

We all knew this was coming. Graham is and has always been a Ryan Republican.

    1. marty lopez - December 8, 2019

Graham is a Ryan Republican RINO and a consort of John MCain, POS and a two faced, sell out traitor. He always was

  3. foods651 - December 8, 2019

Lindsey Graham is an attention hound. I doubt he has any core beliefs or principles. In this case I suspect he has the House whip count and impeachment is going nowhere. Impeachment is never getting out of the House. The wish is father to the thought.

    1. Gregg - December 8, 2019

If he knows impeachment is not going to get out of the house then why not keep his mouth shut and let the Dem. fantasy fall apart?

What good comes from his appearance on the Sunday shows, or the Hannity tic-toc “breaking News”?

He should remain silent and be thought a fool and NOT KEEP PI$$ING OFF HIS BASE by kissing McLame’s rotten corpse!

  4. Meremortal - December 8, 2019

Same old crap. All talk, no teeth. The Swamp is in fine shape and this guy is a charter member.

  5. Mad Celt - December 8, 2019

    Gag this clown. Please!

  6. Larry Folds - December 8, 2019

Graham is a Never-Trumper in hiding.

  7. Show me - December 8, 2019

I can see Graham would like to have it over and if he knows the votes aren’t there to impeach, maybe it’s the pragmatic approach, but not presenting the real evidence rather than the false allegations damages the country as well.
Oversight hearings won’t have the attention of an impeachment trial.
The House impeachment is primarily a political scam, and the Democrats are using it as their presidential campaign, even without a candidate, meaning it doesn’t even matter who the candidate is, the campaign is against Trump rather than being for someone.

  8. Phillip Preston - December 8, 2019

I think it might be time for Lindsey to exit the Senate. Someone has the goods on that Southerner from S.Carolina. Too bad, I thought he might have crawled out of corrupt McCain’s shadow.

  9. Charles Aronowitz - December 8, 2019

For the good of the country Lindsey Graham should retire immediately.

  10. - December 8, 2019

Flimsy Graham; aka Sir Talks a Lot. I don’t want him to prolong it. I don’t want him to speed through it. I want him to do it justice; and, I want the perpetrators to get the justice they so richly deserve.

    1. marty lopez - December 8, 2019

      Perfect, thank you

  11. margaretcooke - December 8, 2019

Please, don’t let Graham skate again. Perhaps you should tell Hannity…he almost hit Graham the last time he prevaricated on his show.

  12. Craig - December 8, 2019

It sounds like the “fix” is already in. I’m sorry to hear Grahm is taking this position.

  13. phineas gage - December 8, 2019

Graham is a snake, but fortunately he is not running the show in the Senate. Cocaine Mitch, while a blueblood GOPe creature through and through, is not going to permit the radical Dems to overturn the 2016 election.

I can see arguments for both Senate options. One the one hand, immediate termination–as advocated by Levin–does not give the Dem charade any credibility at all. One the other hand, a lengthy trial–as advocated by many others–offers the advantages of putting many key Democrats under oath and making them squirm

Since politics is unpredictable at best, unless there are defined goals for the trial process, I am in favor of ending it quickly.

  14. Michael Kunz - December 8, 2019

Lindsay to Democrats, OK boys, I’ve got us covered!

    1. marty lopez - December 8, 2019

Lindsay to complicit RINOs, OK boys I’ve got us covered

  15. Michael - December 8, 2019

Graham wants to end it quickly because he’s as dirty & corrupt as the Democrats involved in Ukraine.
The following article & videos speak for themselves:

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

Wish I’d followed the link before posting below. However, the pertinent part of this, as far as Lindsey Graham goes, is his Order of Ukraine award, under a corrupt Ukraine President, the same one who fired Mr. Shokin (who was NOT corrupt.)

  16. Dave Bruce - December 8, 2019

RINO…protecting the Swamp. The Deep State must have something truly devastating dirt on Graham. He is worthless! D.C. is still owned by the Swamp. Getting clean information from these bull-sh!tters like Horowitz is impossible. Anything even resembling justice out of the D. C. Court system will be a fvcking joke.

  17. Jimmy MacAfee - December 8, 2019

I remember the useless Iran-Contra hearings; they were nothing but an empty barbecue, with most of the meat missing. Most Congressional hearings are a waste of air time on C-SPAN. Ollie North managed to have his convictions overturned, but no one did a bloody thing about REX 84. Iran-Contra was the cover story, the bright shiny object for us to view.

But Durham? Barr? That’s (or they’re) no joke. So keep the eye on the bright shiny object, some would say: I say watch the Durham and Barr as the real show begins.

I’m not in the mood to castigate Graham; I don’t want to piss off even insincere allies, lest they turn.

  18. Ran Rom (@ranrom777) - December 8, 2019

Same old Graham. Talk, talk, talk, and then protect the status quo. He promises, threatens, and screams, but in the end, he covers. On all issues, he is just a McCain and Ryan clone.

  19. Sink Jaxon - December 8, 2019

graham the RINO spouts off again…just STFU and go enjoy your money for I always say…I hate the Republicans…but I hate the Democrats more.THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT

  20. American - December 8, 2019

“If Senator Graham allowed Adam Schiff under oath the entire impeachment fraud would collapse under questioning… and the downstream discoveries would be immense. Hence, Senator Graham will never allow Adam Schiff under oath in the impeachment trial. Too damaging [for the corrupt deep-state/uni-party].

These comments by Senator Lindsey Graham are very self serving. Why?… Because Senator Graham participated in the exploitation of Ukraine for his own benefit. In essence Graham is fearful that too much inquiry into what took place with Ukraine in 2014 through 2016 will expose his own participation and effort along with former Ambassador Marie Yovanovich.

Graham is attempting to end the impeachment effort because the underlying discoveries have the potential to expose the network of congressional influence agents, John McCain and Graham himself included, during any witness testimony.” -Conservative Treehouse

  21. mariner - December 9, 2019

Close it down for the benefit of the country ? I call bs on that claim, more like he does not want the light shinning on him and his indiscretions.

  22. ontoiran - December 9, 2019

it’s obvious that leundzee grayam is afraid of something “embarrassing” coming out in a senate trial

  23. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

“Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko presented US Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham with the Order of Freedom and the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise respectively, ahead of a US delegation meeting in Kiev,” 2016.”

Poroshenko was the Ukraine President who fired the prosecutor that Quid Pro Joe wanted fired.
Now it all makes sense! And Graham and No Name got the Orders of Ukraine from this corrupt fraud. What else does this mean, Senator Graham? Is there a money trail to an island country somewhere, where they’re an international laundromat?

I would like to see the Senate, (if the House is stupid enough to pass impeachment,) take it into committee – let’s say Agriculture, or Transportation, where it will be summarily killed; then add a special prosecutor – (if Barr thinks one is needed) – to investigate House and Senate corruption vis a vis Ukraine. See Lindsey run! (Away.) See Lindsey squirm! (Like a worm.)

I personally don’t want Adam Schiff to testify to the Senate, because I think he should have to testify under oath to William Barr or by Mr. Durham. Same with all the rest – Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi (who has a son…) and Mitt Romney…

Lindsey Graham once called President Trump’s policy in Ukraine “nonsensical.” Providing actual arms (anti-tank missiles) to Ukraine, instead of Barack al-Bama’s blankets and K-rations? That’s nonsensical? Bye, Lindsey. See ya later.

  24. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

President Trump held back payments to Ukraine until his team could vet the existence of ongoing corruption (wise move, if they’re getting our money and aid.) The new President, according to the President’s team’s findings, was a straight shooter. Which is bad news for Lindsay Graham and all the others, because the new President of the Ukraine is fuming about putting the Ukraine under debt to THEIR OWN MONEY. (Which the Dems siphoned off the top, hundreds of millions, maybe billions?) Hey Lindsay, is this why you don’t want to prolong the case in the Senate? Adam got you by the twins?

I’ve made a claim some weeks ago, that Ukraine was running a “government in exile” for the Dims, and with ex-spooks (meet Joe Black, eh?) and others (Sorass) and even more (how’d you like your Heinz sauce on that pickle?) This is the nexus of the overthrow, Spook Central and a laundromat full of cash, which was stolen from the Ukraine people and then sent back in the form of a loan which they must repay.

This brings us to another question: did they do the same thing to Venezuela? Commies are not sympathetic, for sure, but their stupidity lies in not playing the corruption games the Deep State insists upon them playing. Remember the loans the Venezuelans were stupid enough to take out? And a court says they must pay back? Manuro should go back to driving donkey carts, or whatever he used to drive.

  25. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

“I’m gonna end this as quickly as I can” before they catch me in corruption. (Lindsay Graham)

  26. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

So the Ukraine corruptocrats allegedly stole 7 billion or so, laundered it, and then sold the money back to the Ukraine people as a form of debt. Nice. And US diplomats facilitated the skimming, which profited US officials to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Now Ukraine is selling itself deeper into debt, by considering taking IMF loans – which the IMF is now withholding:

“The International Monetary Fund has put off a bailout for Ukraine because it is worried the country’s president won’t recoup billions of dollars allegedly looted from banks—including one once controlled by a close supporter—according to people familiar with the negotiations.”

Afraid of a little light, IMF? (may be anti-Israel site)

So the whole issue may be more than a lot of corruption by Joe Biden and his ridiculous son, and more than about Eric Cinderalla, CIA nincompoop, and more than about Nancy Pelosi’s son, and more than about Crowdstrike – (who likely is a big part of this.) Enter IMF. Who even knew they were going to lend Ukraine money? To put them into servitude? I suppose someone in the Agency will claim that someone under debt cannot be invaded (like by Russia.) Not so fast: does this mean the IMF is running a protection racket?

The script does get deeper. No wonder No Name’s little buddy wants to make it all go away – and fast. As I’ve asked Mittens Romney: “What’s in your wallet, Senator?”

By the way, the IMF is rumored to have an underground facility deep in DC, a bunker larger than the Smithsonian. That was from our former friend “White House Insider” from Ulsterman Report. Some of us have long memories. VTX.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

And why is rich China borrowing money from the World Bank? Are they not so rich? This all ties in to Ukraine, in the larger sense. Canaries and coal mines.

      Bye for now. Bambi awaits.

  27. RLA Bruce - December 9, 2019

Graham should hire out as a weathervane; he seems to have no core principles and goes whichever way the wind blows.

  28. ArmyAviator - December 9, 2019

Could it be…that Senator “Flimsy” Graham is somehow caught up in this Ukraine Scandal himself? Maybe he FEARS too much to allow any Ukraine testimony to be heard in the Senate Trial, following the House Impeaching our President?

There was MUCHO cash to be had from the CORRUPT Ukrainians, and I doubt that “Corrupto Joe” BribeMe and his spawn, were the ONLY CORRUPT Washington “folks” who literally “cashed-in.” And, EVERYONE just KNEW that Crooked Hillary (who also cashed-in on Ukraine) was going to WIN and NOBODY would ever be the wiser? Just like the EPSTEIN scandal! We know the Crooked Clinton’s are Pedo’s and Perverts and visited Epstein’s Ranch and Lolita Island NUMEROUS times for their sick “pleasures.”

    So…why not “Flimsy” Graham too?

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

Look at the links in many of the posts above – including mine, but others too.
How does Wimpsy and No Name get the award of “Order of the Ukraine?”
From the previous President of Ukraine, who was corrupt?

  29. Vetmike - December 9, 2019

I’m of two minds on this. First; getting this over would be good for the country. Let’s just let it drop and move on to the business of the Country. But we all know the Left will not let it drop and they will continue to block any effort to reverse the direction of the Country. The ‘mainstream media’ will not let it drop either. The misery will continue up to and beyond the 2020 elections.
My second thought is that letting it ‘drag on’ would also be good for the Country. A full on impeachment trial would require the presence of every Senator during said trial. It also allows the calling of witnesses and the grilling of same on national TV. Air out the dirty laundry, so to speak. The American People have lost all faith in the FBI, the AG and his staff and politicians in general. Any ‘investigation’ carried out by the Swamp is as certain to be a cover-up as the fact that the sun came up this morning. No-one on either side of the political spectrum would believe the results of an investigation carried out by any Federal Agency. So, what to do? An Independent Counsel? Where do we find someone who is trusted by all sides? And how does he/she get the co-operation needed to conduct an investigation? From the FBI, the AG, Congress?
My opinion is that there is no good way out of this.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

Barr, corrupt? Jumping the gun a wee bit, aren’t we?

      1. adrenoreceptor - December 9, 2019

The point Vetmike made was there may be no pure souls in DC/Government at all.

I dont think suspecting Barr of being Deep State is a stretch at all. He has early ties to CIA as a young man, he was AG in the GWB administration, had several other positions in “Justice”, is an attorney…of course, and is a multimillionaire from his work with GTE/Verizon.

I wont believe there will be any “Justice” to pay for the nefarious actors within the elites until I actually see it. Thinking otherwise is a fools game in my opinion. You dont actually think ANY of these should-be criminals will actually be prosecuted and jailed do you? My guess is, at best we’ll see some of the lower tier bit players take the fall for the elites and it will all be covered up otherwise.

        1. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

We’re so far along in exposing the sins of the Deep State (couldn’t even use those words a few years ago without ridicule) that I refuse to give up hope. I’ve watched the Deep State under Brennan/al-Bama for years and years – (Brennan secured al-Bama’s private records, something that perhaps the courts will unseal?) Judicial Watch is getting things out in the open, and here’s where I agree with you both: the DOJ and FBI continue to stonewall JWs records requests. What is different is that the courts are siding with Judicial Watch in nearly every case that matters, and the evidence is piling up. Perhaps nothing will come of this, but when I see how much has been exposed (like Burisma, the Bidens and hundreds of other things) and when I see that they have absolutely nothing on President Trump, I am given tremendous hope. Sanctuary counties for the 2nd Amendment has also given me hope, in ways I won’t articulate.

  30. Bill Garrison - December 9, 2019

If the House passes a Bill of Impeachment, the Senate is the jury and their only other obligation is to define the rules for the Impeachment hearings. Lindsey will have no authority, other than the one vote he will have to decide the matter.

The President will present his own defense and will be able to call any witness allowed by the Chief Justice who will be the presiding officer of the Impeachment.

I can only say one thing: Maria Bartiromo is a pitbull. She had Lindsey Graham cowering in the corner. He is a limp-wristed wimp. Mitchell uses him as a fall guy, as a trial balloonist. The public response to Graham’s remarks is going to be devastating and we all are going to see him wilt under the lights like the evil queen of the Yellowbrick Road ilk.

      You may have something there.

  32. Jimmy MacAfee - December 9, 2019

Whoreowitz betrayed America with his conclusion. May his daughters all look like him!

  33. the Bruce - December 9, 2019

Kick Graham to the curb. Another lying RINO Swamp rat. We want a trial in the Senate. Deep State must have quite a portfolio on Graham…he’s obviously compromised by blackmail.

  34. D JG - December 9, 2019

The Senate should call witnesses and expose the truth about this sham impeachment.
