Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Well, of course he is. – Are you ready for Judge Jerry? Well, NBC doesn’t care if you are or aren’t – you’re probably going to get him anyway. Yes, friends, The Wrap is reporting this morning that septuagenarian Jerry Springer is working on a deal with NBCUniversal to star in a “daytime courtroom show” that could begin airing in 2019. Because network TV just hasn’t cheapened the nation’s courtroom system quite enough already. I swear I don’t make this stuff up. Who could?
If you don’t know who Allie Beth Stuckey is yet… – Allow me to introduce her to you. She’s made her own version of what a Democrat campaign ad would look like if a Democrat candidate were actually being honest about their beliefs and what they plan to do if elected. It is three minutes of pure greatness:

If you didn’t get about 38 laughs out of that one, you might be brain dead. Or you’re a Democrat.
Wait, is this a trick question? – How old does a correspondent for CBS’s “60 Minutes” have to be in order to be described as “approaching retirement age?” Let’s go back through a little history:
Mike Wallace worked there until he was well into his late ’80s.
Harry Reasoner did the same.
Leslie Stahl has been at the network since I was a sophomore in high school. Richard Nixon was president when I was a sophomore in high school.
Dan Rather was there until he had be-clowned himself so many times that not even CBS could pretend he as a real “journalist” anymore.
Morley Safer appeared to have passed away in place about 8 years before he was finally removed from the show’s lineup, but nobody noticed.
I bring all this up because the New York Post has a report this morning about the chaos that is reigning at network TV’s longest-running fake news program. Seems the geriatric natives are getting a little restless over the prospect of having to work for their likely new boss, who will take over after former boss Jeff Fager had to quit over allegations of – you guessed it – sexual abuse and harassment.
The new likely boss, Susan Zirinsky, is a veritable spring chicken in “60 Minutes” world at just age 66. She’s been the boss over at the network’s “48 Hours” program for years, and it seems she must have developed quite the reputation over there, and the veteran “60 Minutes” bunch wants no part of working for her.
Hilariously, one of the Post’s inside sources “noted that at least one was ‘approaching retirement age’ and might have less to lose by threatening resignation.” That no doubt has all the correspondents at “60 Minutes” looking at one another this morning and saying “wait – there’s a retirement age?”
Speaking of really old reporters who never seem to retire… – I missed this one on Monday, but Carl Bernstein, the former Washington Post reporter who hasn’t done anything worth noting since Watergate, said this in an appearance on CNN (because CNN is the only outlet fake enough to have him on anymore) on Sunday:
“I talked to people … in touch with the White House on Friday who believe that, if the congressional midterms are very close and the Democrats were to win by five or seven seats, that Trump is already talking about how to throw legal challenges into the courts, sow confusion, declare a victory actually, and say that the election’s been illegitimate.”
First, I laughed out loud at how he described his “sources” here – as “people…in touch with the White House.” What that means is that, if he actually talked to anyone about this, which is doubtful, he has to describe them in this way because his “sources” are not in the White House and are so far removed from it that he can’t describe them even as “insiders” or “people with direct knowledge” of what he’s talking about. In fact, this could literally describe anyone who has ever made a phone call to someone who works at the White House and left a voice mail. Think about it.
Anyway, the likely truth here is that Bernstein didn’t really talk to anyone other than his handlers within the Democrat Party who wanted him to put this nonsense out into the public domain. Bernstein is just the first of what will no doubt become many Democrat media shills spreading this rumor of the White House preparing to challenge the election as we approach November 6.
Why? Because this is exactly what the Democrats are planning to do should they fail to win a majority in the House of Representatives. This is the classic Saul Alinsky “projection” tactic, in which you accuse your opposition of doing exactly what you are doing or, in this case, plan to do.
This is exactly the same as in 2016, when, in the weeks leading up to the election, Democrats and their media shills berated Donald Trump for making a statement indicating that he might challenge the election if it appeared as if massive voter fraud had taken place. Remember how they all told us day after day that even saying such a thing was terribly unpatriotic, even un-American? But then Trump won, and the Democrats have spent the last 23 months refusing to accept the election’s results.
Make no mistake about it: This is exactly what the Democrats plan to do again if they fall a few seats short of securing a majority in the House on Election Day, which I’ve been telling you for months is exactly what is going to happen. Thus, to lay the groundwork for that operation, they have media shills like Bernstein talking up the notion that this is in fact the Republican plan.
Expect to see Bernstein’s fellow Democrat media shills repeating this notion between now and Election Day. If the Democrats didn’t have “projection,” they’d have pretty much nothing at all.
About that “migrant caravan”, the latest estimate is that it has now swelled to 14,000. It has added 12,000 individuals since it entered Mexico, yet our fake news media continues to promote the lie that it is made up mainly of Hondurans. So, you’re supposed to believe that the countryside of southern Mexico is just filled to the gills with Honduran nationals. My goodness.
Late Tuesday, President Trump issued this tweet:
I agree with President Obama 100%! pic.twitter.com/PI3aW1Zh5Q
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 23, 2018
Yes, folks, that is America’s Biggest Mistake, Barack Hussein Obama, in 2005 talking about how strongly he felt about the need to control America’s southern border and our right as a country to self-determine who and how many foreign-born individuals will be allowed to come join us here. That of course was before he stumbled into the presidency and the entire Democrat Party became nothing more than a Saul Alinsky crisis operation funded by George Soros.
On Tuesday, both President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo continued to make it crystal clear that this invading army of mainly military-aged males from Mexico and points south will not be allowed to cross into the United States. The Democrats think this all helps them win the votes of suburban white women, which is the motivation behind the entire crisis operation. The Republicans are betting that suburban white women don’t want their country invaded anymore than other ordinary Americans.
We’ll get to see who is right in 13 days. Stay tuned.
That is all.
