Biden Can’t Stop it: Another Oil Boom is Building in America

The U.S. oil and gas business is already in a modest boom, and the Biden Administration will be powerless to stop it from growing.

Here’s an excerpt from a piece I wrote yesterday:

The history of the oil and gas business in the United States is that every time the “experts” all line up to declare it to be dead, it finds a way to come roaring back. This scenario has played itself out at least half a dozen times across my own 42-year career in the business or writing about it.

Well, guess what: It appears to be happening again. I was about to say that it appears to be about to happen again, but the truth is that the domestic oil and gas industry has already staged a significant comeback from the depths of its COVID-19-induced depression last summer. Take the Enverus Daily Rig Count as an example: On September 1, 2020, that metric showed the number of active drilling rigs in the U.S. sat at just 276 rigs, depressingly near its all-time low. As of today, that number has risen to 460 active and working rigs, a 2/3rds increase in just six months.

As well, the Primary Vision count of active U.S. frac spreads had recovered all the way to 175 as of February 12, more than double the count of just 85 as of August 28 of last year. That count fell all the way to just 41 active spreads during the disastrous arctic freeze event that struck Texas, Oklahoma and other shale states in mid-February, but had recovered back to 140 as of the last available count on February 26.

While those financial factors continue to place pressure on corporate producers to focus on cutting costs and elevating investor returns, as we have discussed several times in the past, the natural inertia within companies that are still run by engineers and geo-scientists – rather than investment bankers and accountants, as so many are now – is still to drill more wells. Healthier commodity prices only serve to magnify that natural internal inertia.

We certainly do have healthier commodity prices now. Goldman Sachs GS -0.6%, one of the bellwethers for those who like to pay attention to future oil price forecasts, recently raised its forecast for the mid-year West Texas Intermediate price to $72 per barrel. It is key to note that that increased estimate was published on February 22, well before the OPEC+ group surprised markets on Thursday by agreeing to essentially maintain its status quo on current production and export levels through the end of April.

Given that that announcement has already resulted in an increase of 10% in the price for WTI as of this writing Friday morning, Goldman and other price forecasters could have another increased estimate for WTI coming in the near future. In fact, Goldman Sachs raised its projection for 3rd quarter, 2021 Brent prices to $80 on Friday morning. “Key will be the potential shale supply response, although the latest earnings season suggests investors are still a long way away from rewarding growth,” the bank said. It simultaneously raised its forecast for 2022 U.S. shale production by 300,000 barrels per day.

But what about Biden’s energy policies, you might ask. What about that Keystone XL decision? What about that moratorium on new leasing on public lands? What about all the additional regulations to come?

Yes, all those policies designed to slow the domestic oil and gas industry down will have an impact, no doubt. But let’s look at how those moves will and will not impact the shale-based oil boom that is already growing:

  • KeystoneXL executive order – This presidential order that effectively cancels the northern leg of the KeystoneXL system would in and of itself have little, if any impact on a nascent oil boom in the Lower 48. The Keystone system’s purpose is pretty singular: To facilitate the import of large volumes of Canadian crude into the United States in a safer and more environmentally-sensitive way than bringing it in by truck or rail. It is not designed to carry large volumes of U.S.-produced crude, and would have no impact on America’s various shale plays.
  • Moratorium on new leasing on federal lands and waters – This could become more impactful should it be extended beyond its current 1-year term to last throughout Biden’s full 4-year term in office. This is solely because about half the lands in New Mexico’s part of the prolific Permian/Delaware Basin are owned by the federal government. Otherwise, America’s shale plays – especially those that focus on oil production – overwhelmingly lie on privately-held lands in places like Texas, North Dakota and the eastern half of Colorado.
  • New regulations by EPA/OSHA/DOI and other federal agencies – No question there will be a raft of such new regulatory actions coming into effect in the coming years. For the oil industry, this will make the EHS/Safety/Regulatory Compliance departments big growth areas within companies and trade associations. It will also be a very good time to look for government relations jobs within the industry. But again, many of the regulations we’re talking about here would apply only on federal lands and waters, and the industry has proven to be quite resilient in dealing with major new regulatory actions that apply nationwide. As a result, we will see companies by and large be able to quickly adopt their business practices, finding innovative new ways to comply with the new regulations. They will be a nuisance for sure, and result in slightly elevated costs of doing business, but such regulations will not be able to halt the nascent boom that is building.

So, while the Biden Administration will no doubt continue to come at the industry with actions designed to limit its ability to do business, taken together they will be able to somewhat mute the boom that is building, but won’t be able to stop it.

Bottom line: as long as the OPEC+ agreement holds together and those countries remain willing to withhold some of their oil production, America is headed for another oil boom. In fact, we’re already in it.

That is all.

Today’s Required Reading: Tucker Carlson on Why Washington, DC is Now a Police State

I’ve warned you for six weeks or so now that the UniParty’s wall around the national Capitol Building and ongoing occupation of the District of Columbia by thousands of National Guard personnel is likely to become a permanent feature of life in the nation’s capital. The wall and army are not there for any real reason, but for purely political ones as the Democrats and their willing RINO accomplices continue to prop up their illegitimate regime by spreading false stories of “security threats” coming from some nebulous “Q Anon” insurgent force exists only in the minds political hacks and the hopelessly ignorant among us.

Tucker Carlson took on all of this nonsense during his opening monologue last night, in a way that only he can do. The transcript makes for an epic read.

Here are some excerpts to whet your appetite:

Liberals are a fearful group. The list of things American liberals are afraid of can fill an entire shelf of volumes. It would make an amusing reference set: The Encyclopedia of Liberal Neuroses Unabridged.

Absolutely everything upsets liberals, agitates them, and inflames their allergies. Nature itself is a terrifying experience for liberals because they can’t control it. It has all these sex differences and climate fluctuations. They’ll pass you on their bicycle, sporting their little paper obedience masks, struggling to breathe from oxygen deprivation, yet feeling virtuous and protected. And, of course, judging you for not wearing the uniform.

There’s nothing rational about that behavior, but you shouldn’t be surprised by it. Modern liberalism is not a coherent worldview, it’s a deeply unhappy, high-strung personality type. Wokeness is what you get when people are miserable inside.

When you’re a liberal, the world is a very scary place, but there is one fear that rises above all other fears in the liberal mind: The fear of “the other.” Like all primitive cultures, modern liberalism is tribal. Liberals understand most of the American continent as a mysterious dark space, like a medieval map populated by drooling Trump voters and violent illiterates with extra chromosomes.

Liberals despise people like this, of course, and on some level, they know they’re hated right back. They worry that someday there will be a backlash against the people in charge, which, of course, is them. That’s their biggest fear, a peasant revolt.

A lot of liberals were certain that March 4 was the day the right-wing revolution would finally begin. March 4, they believed, with something called “QAnon Inauguration Day.” What is QAnon Inauguration Day? We have no idea, and we don’t know anyone who does. We’d bet money that not one Trump voter in a million had heard of it until this week, when the hysteria merchants on the other channels started yapping about it on television.

They’d heard about it from Nancy Pelosi, who told her bodyguards to write up a report on the threat of QAnon Inauguration Day. So that’s what they did. We never really learned any details, but members of Congress were not taking chances. Many of them fled the Capitol Thursday. House leaders rescheduled votes so that the rank-and-file legislators could escape with their lives, if not with their dignity.

This was not simply partisan hysteria. Democrats and Republicans seemed united in their shared terror.

Go read the rest of it. It will be the best 10 minutes of time you invest all day long.

That is all.

The Kids are Back in Cages Thanks to Joe Biden

The kids are back in the cages, but the Democrat toadies in our news media refuse to call them that now that a Democrat is in office. – One of the Trump policies that China Joe immediately reversed upon being installed in office was an immigration policy that allowed for the rapid deportation of children who had illegally crossed the border in the company of adults who are not their parents. This was a humanitarian policy that quickly reunited most of these kids with their parents rather than having them spend months in border facilities as their cases were being adjudicated.

Biden reversed this policy out of simple spite, and in order to facilitate the illegal immigration of these adults, who the Democrats intend to turn into a whole new, huge voting block in the coming months. But now, of course, we have to do something with those kids, so they’re back in the “cages” that were built during the Obama/Biden years, but which Trump’s policies had largely emptied out, along with a new set of enclosures that look like shipping containers.

From a story at Axios:

More than 700 children who crossed from Mexico into the United States without their parents were in Border Patrol custody as of Sunday, according to an internal Customs and Border Protection document obtained by Axios.

Why it matters: The current backup is yet another sign of a brewing crisis for President Biden — and a worsening dilemma for these vulnerable children. Biden is finding it’s easier to talk about preventing warehousing kids at the southern border than solving the problem.

  • Making matters worse, border crossings usually peak in the spring, and it’s only February.

Behind the scenes: Of the more than 700 kids waiting to be transferred to shelters overseen by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, more than 200 had been held in these Border Patrol stations for more than 48 hours.

  • Nine had been detained for longer than the agreed-upon limit of 72 hours, according to the internal document, which timestamped the data current as of 8:15 a.m. on Feb. 21.

During Wednesday’s White House media briefing, press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged some kids had been held four or five days — or more.

  • She blamed some of the delays on the bad weather that shut down Texas last week, saying some long-term shelters “did not have power and were not in a place where they had the capacity to take in these kids and do it safely.”
  • She also pushed back — hard — on an equivalency between the current and past administrations’ handling of children, who generally come from countries in Central America, at the U.S.-Mexico border.
  • While president, Donald Trump was criticized for separating children from their parents. That policy is no longer in place, although rising numbers of children arriving now are unaccompanied, meaning they are detained alone anyway.

Note how the Axios Democrat toady twists himself in logical knots trying to defend the Biden people, and laughably defends the inept defense of this despicably inhuman policy by Jen Psaki.

The fact of the matter is that this Biden policy reversal was done to intentionally encourage human child trafficking so the Democrat Party has more illegal aliens in this country to turn into voters if they can shove an amnesty bill through congress. That’s the premeditated intent.

Reporters who provide cover for this are nothing more than ghouls.

Tuesday News Roundup: The Supreme Court Betrays America and the Constitution in Pennsylvania Decision

Hey, remember how your Democrat friends all told you what a wonderful, fair, cerebral, non-partisan judge Merrick Garland is supposed to be? – Yeah, he’s just another leftwing partisan Democrat who refuses to honestly answer questions in a congressional hearing:

“I don’t know…I don’t know…I don’t know…I don’t know.” He’s the perfect attorney general for this sock puppet presidency.

We are so screwed.

Today’s Short-Term Memory Reminder. – I’m old enough to remember when it was Donald Trump who was supposed to be a totalitarian. But hey, that was always a lie – everyone with functioning synapses in their cranial cavities knows it is the Democrat Party that has always striven to take our country down the road to despotism, and today’s Democrats are no exception to that 200-year rule.

Yesterday, we discovered that congressional Democrats are now trying to bully cable/streaming companies into dropping news networks that they do not approve of. Take a look:

Hilariously, these authoritarian Dems pretend to base their efforts at censorship on “moral or ethical principles”:

It’s absolutely surreal. You could never make this stuff up if it didn’t already exist.

Speaking of authoritarians… – Congressman Ro Khanna served as campaign manager for The Commie, Bernie Sanders, for a very good reason: He’s a commie, too.

You don’t have to believe me – just listen to him talk to some fake journalist on CNN about his desire to put any business that can’t afford to pay a $15 minimum wage out of business:

That’s pure communism. You either redistribute your wealth exactly the way the government demands you do it, or you don’t stay in business. Profits don’t matter; your business’s value to the community doesn’t matter; the fact you’d have to fire half your employees in order to pay that hourly wage doesn’t matter; you either do as your government masters tell you to do or you don’t do business.

And Ro Khanna and Bernie Sanders and 2/3rds of the congressional Democrat caucus will the thrilled to see you and your jobs go. Despicable.

How about this walk down memory lane? – Check this out as China Joe Biden tells David Letterman that he was arrested for going into the U.S. senate chamber and taking over the presiding officer’s seat, just as that nitwit in the viking horns did on January 6:

Now, there’s little doubt Biden’s lying here, given that he lies with the regularity that most people urinate, but man, what a thing to admit to doing. Just another inconvenient little video for the Democrats and their mindless voters.

Right on cue, the Supreme Court betrays the American people one more time. – I warned you all a few weeks ago that the decision by the Supreme Court to schedule a day to consider whether to formally hear three of the Trump election challenges in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Michigan would likely end badly for us and the Constitution.

Many were excited because they labored under the misimpression that the Court had agreed to hear these three cases, but in reality all it was doing was trying to decide whether or not to put any of them on the docket. I also told you that it was almost certain that the Court would refuse to hear the Georgia or Michigan cases, but that it should hear the Pennsylvania case since it so clearly involved a stark constitutional violation in which the state’s courts changed voting rules by judicial fiat. But I also warned you that the justices would find some technical excuse not to hear that case as well.

All of that came to fruition on Monday, as the Court refused to hear any of the three cases:

From the story at National Review:

Few things are worse for public confidence in elections than having the rules changed in the middle of the game (or after it). An epidemic of late-in-the-day changes to the rules was particularly corrosive in 2020. Courts are ill-equipped to referee those changes when partisan tempers are running hot. The Supreme Court just threw away its last opportunity to remedy that problem before the next election cycle.

The Court this morning turned away the remaining challenges to the 2020 election in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Michigan. Some of these challenges were legally meritless, and none of them offered any legitimate grounds to change the outcome of the presidential election, but the Pennsylvania case in particular raised a serious, recurring issue of election law: whether state courts or state executive officials can use the general, open-ended terms of state constitutional provisions to throw out specific rules passed by state legislatures governing federal elections. Articles I and II of the Constitution reserve to state legislatures the power to set rules for federal elections.

That’s exactly what happened in Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania supreme court used the Pennsylvania Constitution’s general guarantees of “free and equal” elections and “free exercise of the right of suffrage” as an excuse to invalidate the state legislature’s explicit deadline for mail-in ballots to be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day — the same time the in-person polls close. That deadline was enacted in 2019 and left untouched in revisions to the mail-in ballot rules during the pandemic in 2020. The Court should have heard the case before Election Day, in order t0 ensure that the rules of the road were set in advance. Refusing to hear the case either before the election or after the election guarantees that the issue remains unsettled for the next election.

Justice Clarence Thomas, joined by Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch, wrote a dissent blasting the Court for repeatedly ducking this issue (Alito added his own dissent). Normally, federal courts will not hear cases once they are moot, and that would normally be the situation here: Justice Thomas noted that there was no evidence in the record that the Pennsylvania deadline extension changed the result of any federal election…

[The Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s] decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future. These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set election rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable. . . . An election system lacks clear rules when, as here, different officials dispute who has authority to set or change those rules. This kind of dispute brews confusion because voters may not know which rules to follow. Even worse, with more than one system of rules in place, competing candidates might each declare victory under different sets of rules.

That does sound familiar, doesn’t it? Thomas detailed why contests involving mail-in ballots, which were once treated with skepticism even by the New York Times and election-law experts, were more complicated to litigate quickly, and thus presented even greater mootness problems: “Five to six weeks for judicial testing is difficult enough for straightforward cases. For factually complex cases, compressing discovery, testimony, and appeals into this timeline is virtually impossible.” He specifically noted the compressed timeline imposed in presidential elections by the Electoral Count Act of 1887. And Justice Thomas warned of the particular problems the Court faces in trying to handle politically charged cases in the middle of voting, pointing to a South Carolina case where the Court ended up ordering one rule for ballots cast after its decision, and another for ballots already cast.

Note that two of President Trump’s three nominees for the Court ruled against the American people and the Constitution in this decision, and you see how screwed we all really are.

Be careful out there.

That is all.

Ducklo Bullying Shows White House Callous Attitude Towards Women

This is how you act when you believe you’re bullet proof. – Biden Deputy Press Secretary T.J. Ducklo became the subject of a bullying scandal on Friday when it was revealed he he had threatened a Politico reporter, Tara Palmeri, when she questioned him about an affair he had been conducting with a reporter for Axios.  It seems that the White House press corps is just a swirling soap opera of sexual shenanigans.

You didn’t have to worry about these things during the Trump administration, since everyone hated one another. But in a Democrat administration, they’re all trying to get each other into bed. And Ducklo thinks he can get away with this kind of behavior because his bosses will have his back.

Sadly, he’s pretty much right, given that his immediate boss, Jen Psaki circled back to him with just a one-week suspension.

From the story at Vanity Fair:

AWhite House official tried to quash a story about his relationship with a reporter by issuing threats and using derogatory language to another reporter pursuing it, according to two sources familiar with the incident. In a sympathetic profile Monday, People revealed that White House Deputy Press Secretary TJ Ducklo is dating Axios political reporter Alexi McCammond, who covered the Joe Biden campaign. But behind the scenes, Ducklo had previously lashed out at Politico reporter Tara Palmeri, who was reporting the story, exhibiting behavior that led to tense meetings between the Washington news outlet’s editors and senior White House officials.

After Vanity Fair published this account, the White House announced that Ducklo would be suspended for one week.

The confrontation began on Inauguration Day, January 20, after Palmeri, a coauthor of Politico’s Playbook, contacted McCammond for comment while one of her male colleagues left a message for Ducklo, according to the sources. Ducklo subsequently called a Playbook editor to object to the story, but was told to call the Playbook reporters with his concerns. But instead of calling the male reporter who initially contacted him, Ducklo tried to intimidate Palmeri by phone in an effort to kill the story. “I will destroy you,” Ducklo told her, according to the sources, adding that he would ruin her reputation if she published it.

During the off-the-record call, Ducklo made derogatory and misogynistic comments, accusing Palmeri of only reporting on his relationship—which, due to the ethics questions that factor into the relationship between a journalist and White House official, falls under the purview of her reporting beat—because she was “jealous” that an unidentified man in the past had “wanted to fuck” McCammond “and not you.” Ducklo also accused Palmeri of being “jealous” of his relationship with McCammond. (Palmeri had no prior relationship or communication with McCammond before calling her to report on the Playbook item, which was a story that she was assigned and had not independently pursued.)

So, the guy gets a one-week suspension without pay from the White House for the act of bullying and threatening a female reporter, an infraction for which he’d be walked out of the building permanently by security in the real world. But hey, these are 21st century leftists who don’t really give a damn about women’s rights, as evidenced on their policies that discriminate against actual women in favor of men who “identify” as girls.

For more background on Mr. Ducklo, check out this story from the Washington Free Beacon:

Here’s an excerpt from the story:

Ducklo’s misogynistic outburst is even more problematic considering his history of employment. His role as Biden’s deputy press secretary is not the first time Ducklo has flacked for someone accused of sexual assault.

For example, Ducklo was the senior communications director for NBC News between 2018 and 2019, when the network was struggling to contain the fallout from the numerous sexual assault allegations leveled against disgraced daytime host Matt Lauer. Journalist Ronan Farrow has accused senior NBC News executives of turning a blind eye to Lauer’s predatory behavior and of actively thwarting his efforts to report on disgraced Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein’s history of misconduct.

Ducklo may or may not have interacted with Weinstein when he did communications for the Motion Picture Association of America from 2011 to 2014. He definitely hung out with the group’s chairman, former senator Chris Dodd (D., Conn.), who is best known for making a “waitress sandwich” with the late Ted Kennedy, among other forms of disreputable behavior toward women.

Dodd, who served on Biden’s vice presidential selection committee in 2020, was exceedingly reluctant to weigh in on the (in some cases criminal) allegations against Weinstein, whom he called a “friend” who was “very helpful to me as a candidate for Congress and as a senator over the years.” Anita Dunn, one of Ducklo’s colleagues in the Biden White House, went so far as to provide Weinstein with “damage control advice” as the disgraced producer sought to avoid being convicted on rape charges.

There’s much, much more. Go read the rest of it – you’ll be glad, and disgusted, that you did.

Today’s Required Reading: NYTimes Liberal Urges California to Double Down on Failure

This morning, in a piece about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, I wrote that “Liberalism/leftism is a mental disease that robs people of the ability to connect their own voting actions to the societal pathologies that plague their lives.”

Today’s Required Reading returns to New York, where liberal New York Times writer Ezra Klein literally personifies that dictum in an op/ed published on Thursday. In the piece titled “California Is Making Liberals Squirm,” Klein, a California native who has now returned to his home state, writes about the idiotic Democrat policy choices over the past 40 years that have transformed the Golden State into an aspiring 3rd-world country, lamenting their abject failure to deliver the promises made by the cynical politicians who produced them.

Then, to prove the accuracy of the “liberalism is a mental disease” thesis once and for all, he concludes his piece by advocating that California Democrats double down on the same failed policies. The utter lack of any ability whatsoever to reason logically present in the piece is truly stunning.

Trudging through this ~1500 word piece of sophistry and painful illogic is difficult, but those who wish to truly understand how the liberal mind works – or doesn’t work, actually – should invest the 10-12 minutes to do it.  It might make you want to slit your wrists afterwards at the thought that Klein is actually far from the dumbest leftist employed by the New York Times, but you’ll be better educated for having done so.

Here’s an excerpt to whet your appetite:

You may have heard that San Francisco’s Board of Education voted 6 to 1 to rename 44 schools, stripping ancient racists of their laurels, but also Abraham Lincoln and Senator Dianne Feinstein. The history upon which these decisions were made was dodgy, and the results occasionally bizarre. Paul Revere, for instance, was canceled for participating in a raid on Indigenous Americans that was actually a raid on a British fort.

In normal times, bemusement would be the right response to a story like this. Cities should have idiosyncratic, out-there politics. You need to earn your “Keep X weird” bumper stickers. And for all the Fox News hosts who’ve collapsed onto their fainting couches, America isn’t suffering from a national shortage of schools named for Abraham Lincoln.

But San Francisco’s public schools remain closed, no matter the name on the front. “What I cannot understand is why the School Board is advancing a plan to have all these schools renamed by April, when there isn’t a plan to have our kids back in the classroom by then,” Mayor London Breed said in a statement. I do not want to dismiss the fears of teachers (or parents), many living in crowded homes, who fear returning to classrooms during a pandemic. But the strongest evidence we have suggests school openings do not pose major risks when proper precautions are followed, and their continued closure does terrible harm to students, with the worst consequences falling on the neediest children. And that’s where this goes from wacky local news story to a reflection of a deeper problem.

The median price for a home in California is more than $700,000. As Bloomberg reported in 2019, the state has four of the nation’s five most expensive housing markets and a quarter of the nation’s homeless residents. The root of the crisis is simple: It’s very, very hard to build homes in California. When he ran for governor in 2018, Gavin Newsom promised the construction of 3.5 million housing units by 2025. Newsom won, but California has built fewer than 100,000 homes each year since. In Los Angeles, Mayor Eric Garcetti persuaded Angelenos to pass a new sales tax to address the city’s homelessness crisis, but the program has fallen far behind schedule, in part because homeowners fought the placing of shelters in their communities.

There is a danger — not just in California, but everywhere — that politics becomes an aesthetic rather than a program. It’s a danger on the right, where Donald Trump modeled a presidency that cared more about retweets than bills. But it’s also a danger on the left, where the symbols of progressivism are often preferred to the sacrifices and risks those ideals demand. California, as the biggest state in the nation, and one where Democrats hold total control of the government, carries a special burden. If progressivism cannot work here, why should the country believe it can work anywhere else?

That is all.

A Tragic Day in Texas

A tragic day in Texas. – Below is a photo of a 133-car  pileup that took place just south of Downtown Fort Worth on I-35W Wednesday morning. At least 6 people were killed and dozens were injured, as the entire North Texas/Central Texas region was plagued by below-freezing temperatures and freezing drizzle that turned roads into skating rinks.

This is just heartbreaking. Pray for the families involved.

May be an image of road and text that says 'EXPRESS LANE HOV $ $23 HIGHER TESF OR LARGER'

This also happened in Texas Wednesday:

From the story at the New York Post (because most Texas news outlets could not be bothered to report it):

A 12-year-old Texas boy who felt “sad and lonely” amid the coronavirus lockdown measures hanged himself, his father revealed in a report about the tragedy.

Hayden Hunstable, of Aledo, took his own life three days before his 13th birthday in April 2020 because he didn’t know how to deal with the isolation and depression when the emerging disease caused a nationwide shutdown, the UK’s Metro reported.

The boy’s 9-year-old sister, Kinlee, found him hanged in his bedroom, according to the outlet.

Hayden’s heartbroken dad, Brad, 42, spoke to Metro to help prevent future suicides among the nation’s youth.

“COVID killed my son. I think Hayden would still be alive today if COVID had never happened,” the father of three told the outlet. “I had no idea he was struggling or depressed — he was such a happy kid and loved his friends and family.”

Not to argue with the child’s father, but COVID did not kill Hayden. What led this boy to take his own life was the reactions by adults to COVID-19. This is the price of Anthony Fauci’s daily moving of the goalposts related to COVID-19 and of governors, Democrat and Republican alike, slavishly following the advice of Fauci and other “experts” who so gleefully exert their tyrannical control over the American people.

Hayden is just one of thousands of suicides that have taken place over the past 11 months that would not have occurred had it not been for the tyranny of these “experts” and the policymakers who have blindly followed them. Thousands more have needlessly died of drug overdoses during that same time. Additional thousands have died because they were prevented from receiving the health care they needed for other health issues.

This is the real cost of this nation’s insane response to COVID-19, and the corrupt news media refuses to even report on it. Sadly, no one in the media will bother to ask Fauci if he believes his constantly-shifting pronouncements bear responsibility for Hayden’s death, or ask the same question of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has blindly followed the advice of Fauci and his own “experts” in Texas as a means of providing political cover for his stupid, economy and society-killing decisions.

Make no mistake here: COVID did not kill Hayden. Power-hungry adults who should know better did.

That is all.

Mark Cuban’s No Good, Terrible, Very Bad Day

Wednesday was a no good, terrible, very bad day for Mark Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks, and the China-hugging creeps at the NBA. – The self-styled social justice warrior, ChiCom-hugging owner of the NBA franchise in Dallas made news late Tuesday when he confirmed to a reporter that the team was no longer playing the Star Spangled Banner at its home games at his personal direction. That news burst into the headlines and across social media, as outraged fans and enemies of the team and owner alike expressed their anger about the decision.

From a story at DailyWire:

Cuban confirmed to Cato that he was the one who decided the Mavs should pull the anthem.

“None of 13 preseason and regular-season games played at the American Airlines Center this season have featured the anthem before the game, including Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the first played this season with a limited amount of fans in attendance,” Cato reported Monday. “The Mavericks did not publicize the anthem’s removal, and The Athletic was the first media organization to reach out about the change after noticing its absence on Monday. Multiple team employees described only noticing the anthem’s removal on their own, as it was also not announced or explained internally.”

Note the statement from Cuban confirming that he was the one who made the decision.

The Dallas Stars NHL hockey team, which also plays in and co-owns the America Airlines Center where the Mavericks play and doesn’t want to be stained by Cuban’s stupidity and lack of patriotism, jumped in to assure their fans that they were not only continuing to play the anthem, but were proud to be Americans, unlike Cuban, many of his players, and most involved with the NBA, in fact.

Good for them. Makes me want to go watch a hockey game.

The NBA itself obviously quickly realized the potential damage Cuban’s actions could do to the entire league, which has already suffered tremendous reputational harm by allowing players to kneel while the anthem is being played. Its PR team got into action early in the afternoon with the release of a self-serving statement, because of course it did. That statement mandates that all NBA teams will continue playing the anthem “in keeping with longstanding league policy.”:

That policy may be “longstanding” but it obviously does not include the players standing, right? Right.

Cuban, fully chastened and humiliated by Dallas’s hockey franchise and the NBA, then went on ESPN to do an interview in which he claimed it was all a misunderstanding and that he never had any plans to permanently ban the playing of the national anthem. He further claimed that he and his management “always understood” that they would eventually start playing the anthem again.

From a story at ESPN:

In the wake of the NBA’s statement Wednesday reiterating its long-standing policy that “all teams will play the national anthem,” Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said during an appearance on ESPN’s The Jump that his organization has no problem playing the anthem “at all,” and that the decision to not do so to this point in the season was the product of ongoing conversations with members of the community who felt the tradition “did not fully represent them.”

Cuban on Tuesday had told ESPN that he had made the decision to stop playing the national anthem before home games after consulting with NBA commissioner Adam Silver. The Mavericks did not announce the change in policy, but the national anthem had not been played before any of their 13 preseason and regular-season games at the American Airlines Center this season.

“We’re always talking to our community. That’s something [Mavericks CEO Cynthia Marshall] stands for and is very insistent upon and has become a core part of who we are at the Dallas Mavericks,” Cuban told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols on Wednesday. “In listening to the community, there were quite a few people who voiced their concerns, really their fears that the national anthem did not fully represent them, that their voices were not being heard. So we’ve had a lot of conversations about whether or not we should play the anthem. And so during the first preseason game, we decided to not play it and just see what the response was, knowing that we were going to have ongoing conversations about it. We didn’t make any decision to never play the national anthem then — that wasn’t the case at all. We didn’t cancel the national anthem. We still had our flag flying proud up on the wall at the American Airlines Center and everybody had the opportunity to address it and pray to it or salute to it or whatever their feelings are.”

Cuban added that the organization had always discussed the fact that it would probably resume the playing of the anthem at some point, likely when fans were allowed back in the arena. The Mavericks did not have fans for their first 10 regular-season games before allowing 1,500 vaccinated essential workers to attend Monday’s game against Minnesota for free.

“There was never any final decision that was made that we would not play the anthem,” Cuban said.

Note this specific sentence: “We still had our flag flying proud up on the wall at the American Airlines Center and everybody had the opportunity to address it and pray to it or salute to it or whatever their feelings are.” This is the sentence that betrays Cuban’s real feelings on the matter. Only an unpatriotic clown would imply that any true American actually prays to the flag. The flag is not a religious symbol: it is a symbol of the country. If you don’t understand that distinction and why it is important, then you are a fool.

Also note that Cuban does not fully own the American Airlines Center: that is a joint ownership between the Mavericks and the Stars. He doesn’t get to decide whether or not to display the American flag, rendering that statement meaningless.

If you believe a word of what Cuban says there, you are what one of my former bosses would refer to as a “very credulous individual.” There can be little doubt that Mark Cuban’s true feelings on the matter were expressed when he banned the national anthem from being played in the arena.

For the record, I haven’t watched a full NBA game for a least 15 years now. But, as a friend told me yesterday, this is almost enough to make me wish I was still a fan so I could quit watching again.

That is all.

Today’s Required Reading: The Thirty Tyrants

If you want a great read about how and why America’s class of elites have sold out the rest of the U.S. population to China, you should take the time to read “The Thirty Tyrants”, published at It was forwarded to me by a friend this morning. It’s a long read, but well worth your time investment.

Here’s an excerpt to whet your appetite:

But if Donald Trump saw decoupling the United States from China as a way to dismantle the oligarchy that hated him and sent American jobs abroad, he couldn’t follow through on the vision. After correctly identifying the sources of corruption in our elite, the reasons for the impoverishment of the middle classes, and the threats foreign and domestic to our peace, he failed to staff and prepare to win the war he asked Americans to elect him to fight.

And because it was true that China was the source of the China Class’ power, the novel coronavirus coming out of Wuhan became the platform for its coup de grace. So Americans became prey to an anti-democratic elite that used the coronavirus to demoralize them; lay waste to small businesses; leave them vulnerable to rioters who are free to steal, burn, and kill; keep their children from school and the dying from the last embrace of their loved ones; and desecrate American history, culture, and society; and defame the country as systemically racist in order to furnish the predicate for why ordinary Americans in fact deserved the hell that the elite’s private and public sector proxies had already prepared for them.

For nearly a year, American officials have purposefully laid waste to our economy and society for the sole purpose of arrogating more power to themselves while the Chinese economy has gained on America’s. China’s lockdowns had nothing to do with the difference in outcomes. Lockdowns are not public health measures to reduce the spread of a virus. They are political instruments, which is why Democratic Party officials who put their constituents under repeated lengthy lockdowns, like New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, are signaling publicly that it is imperative they be allowed to reopen immediately now that Trump is safely gone.

That Democratic officials intentionally destroyed lives and ended thousands of them by sending the ill to infect the elderly in nursing homes is irrelevant to America’s version of the Thirty Tyrants. The job was to boost coronavirus casualties in order to defeat Trump and they succeeded. As with Athens’ anti-democratic faction, America’s best and brightest long ago lost its way. At the head of the Thirty Tyrants was Critias, one of Socrates’ best students, a poet and dramatist. He may have helped save Socrates from the regime’s wrath, and yet the philosopher appears to have regretted that his method, to question everything, fed Critias’ sweeping disdain for tradition. Once in power, Critias turned his nihilism on Athens and destroyed the city.

Meanwhile, Kissinger’s geopolitical maneuver became the cornerstone of his historical legacy. It also made him a wealthy man selling access to Chinese officials. In turn, Kissinger pioneered the way for other former high-ranking policymakers to engage in their own foreign influence-peddling operations, like William Cohen, defense secretary in the administration of Bill Clinton, who greased the way for China to gain permanent most favored nation trade status in 2000 and become a cornerstone of the World Trade Organization. The Cohen Group has two of its four overseas offices in China, and includes a number of former top officials, including Trump’s former Defense Secretary James Mattis, who recently failed to disclose his work for the Cohen Group when he criticized the Trump administration’s “with us or against us” approach to China in an editorial. “The economic prosperity of U.S. allies and partners hinges on strong trade and investment relationships with Beijing,” wrote Mattis, who was literally being paid by China for taking exactly that position.

Just after defeating communism in the Soviet Union, America breathed new life into the communist party that survived. And instead of Western democratic principles transforming the CCP, the American establishment acquired a taste for Eastern techno-autocracy. Tech became the anchor of the U.S.-China relationship, with CCP funding driving Silicon Valley startups, thanks largely to the efforts of Dianne Feinstein, who, after Kissinger, became the second-most influential official driving the U.S.-CCP relationship for the next 20 years.

In 1978, as the newly elected mayor of San Francisco, Feinstein befriended Jiang Zemin, then the mayor of Shanghai and eventually president of China. As mayor of America’s tech epicenter, her ties to China helped the growing sector attract Chinese investment and made the state the world’s third-largest economy. Her alliance with Jiang also helped make her investor husband, Richard Blum, a wealthy man. As senator, she pushed for permanent MFN trade status for China by rationalizing China’s human rights violations, while her friend Jiang consolidated his power and became the Communist Party’s general secretary by sending tanks into Tiananmen Square. Feinstein defended him. “China had no local police,” Feinstein said that Jiang had told her. “Hence the tanks,” the senator from California reassuringly explained. “But that’s the past. One learns from the past. You don’t repeat it. I think China has learned a lesson.”

Go read the rest of it. Trust me on this: You will be glad you did.

The Ugly Truth About the Lincoln Project and its Media Protectors

Watch the rapid eye-blinking, constant looking down and to the left and head shaking as George Conway tries to answer a simple question from Minka Brzenzski on Morning Joe this morning:

Now, here’s the truth about the “Lincoln Project” and its pedo founder, John Weaver: Everyone involved in the Lincoln Project almost certainly knew. John Weaver’s proclivities related to preying on young boys has been well-known in Washington DC since he managed John McCain’s presidential campaign in 2000. It was most likely known well before then, as Weaver nevertheless steadily rose through the ranks of establishment Republican campaign professionals in the DC Swamp.

George Conway knew, and all the other Swamp skunks and snakes involved in the Lincoln Project knew. And guess what else? Everyone in the corrupt national news media has likely known all about John Weaver for years and refused to report on it. Just as they knew for decades about Harvey Weinstein and refused to report on the powerful Democrat donor. Just as they knew about Jeffrey Epstein for decades and refused to report on the powerful friend of Bill Clinton and other prominent political figures.

Only now, after Joe Biden has successfully been installed as the Swamp’s designated presidential sock puppet, does anyone in the corrupt media decide to finally “break” a  story that has been common knowledge for two decades.

Here’s a shot of some of the other prominent RINO campaign pros who were big honchos in the Lincoln Project:

That’s what they looked like as they were being interviewed by corrupt old hack Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes in advance of last year’s presidential election. Stahl and CBS provided them a huge platform from which to slander President Donald Trump, but never managed to pose a single question to them about the pedo nature of their sham organization’s founder. Funny how that works.

So now that the “news” about Weaver is out and that genie is out of the bottle, other hacks like Mika are trying to play a little catchup, but also being careful to provide sleazeballs like Conway a platform from which to claim that they knew nothing about it.

Don’t believe them. They all knew – it was impossible not to know.

If we had a functioning news media in this country, John Weaver would have been outed 20 years ago when he was working for John McCain. But protecting Swamp snakes like the members of the Lincoln Project is what the media is all about.

But watch George Conway’s eyes – they tell you all you need to know.

There’s an old saying that if you lie down with dogs you will wake up with fleas. This morning, the corrupt news media is just eaten up with the fleas leaping off the mangy body of the Lincoln Project.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: Big Tech/Hedge Fund Oligarchs Team up in Day Trader Purge

Something happened related to the stock market yesterday that has everyone up in a frenzy this morning. I don’t really understand it all, but it involves Reddit, something called sub-Reddit and a group of day traders who assemble there, abusive hedge fund managers, short-selling, big tech oligarchs, NASDAQ and GameStop stock, which went way up during the day, but was driven back down in after hours trading. Glenn Greenwald posted a video that kind of explains it here:

When China Joe’s press spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked about it all, she responded by reminding everyone that we have our first female Treasury Secretary:

Holy crap. You just seriously can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Actually, that story at DailyWire does a decent job of kind of explaining what all the hubbub was about:

Biden administration Press Secretary Jen Psaki responded to questions about whether the White House was monitoring an ongoing, social media-driven stock surge by focusing on the Treasury Secretary’s gender.

As The Daily Wire reported Wednesday, the Reddit forum “r/wallstreetbets — the subreddit Wall Street Bets — seems to be the driving factor” in an “explosive stock market growth” for the video games retailer. “As members buy more stock, originally priced at under $5 just a few weeks ago, the stock price continues to increase, with ‘no signs of that collective action stopping anytime soon.’”

“GameStop, hedge funds’ most-hated stock, was targeted by an army of retail investors who marshaled forces against short sellers in online chat rooms. In the Reddit forum ‘wallstreetbets’ with more than 2 million subscribers, rookie investors encouraged each other to pile into GameStop’s shares and call options, creating massive short squeezes in the stock,” CNBC reported.

The effect has been immediate and dramatic, and The New York Times reports, has spread to other companies.

“Millions of amateur stock traders collectively are taking on some of Wall Street’s most sophisticated investors. They’ve piled into trades around companies that other investors had written off, pushing stock prices to stratospheric levels,” the outlet noted. “The main focus is GameStop, the troubled video game retailer. Its stock is up 1,600 percent so far this month, including Wednesday’s climb of 120 percent. AMC Entertainment was up 225 percent on Wednesday, and BlackBerry is up more than 250 percent this month.”

The battle between Wall Street bigwigs and recreational stock buyers has fueled concern in the financial sector, particularly given that Melvin Capital, the hedge fund trader targeted in the GameStop surge, had to beg for a $3 billion bailout from other investors in order “to shore up its finances.” At one point, rumors suggested Melvin Capital might even file for bankruptcy.

At her daily White House press conference Wednesday afternoon, Psaki responded to questions over whether the administration might get involved in the ongoing stock surge by noting that they’d just hired Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretary.

“Is the White House concerned about the stock market activity we’re seeing around GameStop and now some other stocks as well?” one reporter asked Psaki. “Have there been any conversations with the SEC about how to proceed?”

“Well, I’m also happy to repeat that we have the first female Treasury secretary and a team that’s surrounding her and often questions about markets,” Psaki replied.

Naturally, at the end of the day, the Big Tech oligarchs took sides with the big-money hedge fund oligarchs and shut down the day-trader sub-Reddit group for allegedly saying bad things. Because that’s how things work in China Joe Potato Head Biden’s totalitarian America, where people will now be arrested and charged with imaginary crimes by the DOJ for posting memes on Twitter that the government does not like.

For more on that last subject, check out the other piece I posted this morning.

Well, that escalated quickly.Yesterday I warned you that the media and Democrats were about to mount a full-on effort to brainwash all of you into wearing two masks at a time now. This morning, the Washington Post has a piece up kick-starting that campaign:

Kitty’s gonna need another mask:

caterville — Cat Wearing Gas Mask What's your caption?

Hey, where have we heard that “buy American” thing before?  – When Donald Trump campaigned on a pledge to force the federal government to “buy American” in 2016, the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies recoiled in horror, labeling him a jingoistic racist.

But when China Joe Potato Head Biden plagiarizes the exact same theme, Democrats and fake journalists everywhere praise him to the rafters.

From the story at Breitbart:

President Joe Biden received praise Monday for a new executive order encouraging the federal government to “buy American.” Remarkably, it echoed a similar executive order issued by President Donald Trump in early 2017.

In April 2017, Trump issued an Executive Order titled “Buy American and Hire American.” It declared:

(a) Buy American Laws. In order to promote economic and national security and to help stimulate economic growth, create good jobs at decent wages, strengthen our middle class, and support the American manufacturing and defense industrial bases, it shall be the policy of the executive branch to maximize, consistent with law, through terms and conditions of Federal financial assistance awards and Federal procurements, the use of goods, products, and materials produced in the United States.

(b) Hire American. In order to create higher wages and employment rates for workers in the United States, and to protect their economic interests, it shall be the policy of the executive branch to rigorously enforce and administer the laws governing entry into the United States of workers from abroad, including section 212(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(5)).

Biden’s new executive order, titled “Ensuring the Future Is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers,” repeats much, though not all, of the same language as Trump’s executive order:

It is the policy of my Administration that the United States Government should, consistent with applicable law, use terms and conditions of Federal financial assistance awards and Federal procurements to maximize the use of goods, products, and materials produced in, and services offered in, the United States. The United States Government should, whenever possible, procure goods, products, materials, and services from sources that will help American businesses compete in strategic industries and help America’s workers thrive.

Trump issued several other “Buy American” orders during his presidency, including orders relating to infrastructure and the U.S. Postal Service.

Biden argued Monday that his executive order strengthened government policy by requiring agencies to approach the White House before issuing waivers that would allow federal government departments to buy goods or services abroad.

However, Biden’s order is weaker in one crucial respect: unlike Trump, Biden is not directing immigration authorities to  enforce “laws governing entry into the United States of workers from abroad” rigorously to protect American workers.

Hey, what else would you expect? China Joe has literally made a career out of plagiarizing and stealing the ideas of others to fill his otherwise empty cranium. That life’s strategy has now elevated him to the most powerful office on the face of the earth.

Why mess with success?

That is all.

How Many COVID Masks are Enough COVID Masks?

How many masks are enough masks? – Ok, well, get ready for the coming Biden plan to mandate that everyone wear more than one mask. It has become manifestly obvious over the past week that the Biden/Harris Harris/Biden administration has no other real plan for dealing with COVID-19 other than letting the natural course of the virus play out and take full credit for it, but the natural impulse of any Democrat politician when faced with an issue is to “do something,” regardless of whether what they do is productive or not.

Early this week, the little menace to society and highest paid federal employee Anthony Fauci signaled what “doing something” will mean when he told an interviewer that “two masks are more effective than one.” Naturally, the corrupt news media that worships at Fauci’s tiny throne has taken the little menace’s latest sage advice and run with it.

From a story at

Dr. Anthony Fauci endorses double-masking.

US health officials have long been advising people to wear a cloth mask with three layers of protection, or a surgical or N95 mask, to protect against the novel coronavirus.

But some people, including many at the inauguration, have been doubling up on masks – layering them to create an extra barrier of protection.

According to Fauci, it’s a good idea, particularly in light of more transmissible variants of the coronavirus, first identified in the UK and South Africa.

Read More:Two face masks may be more protective than wearing one, but it depends on the type and fit

“If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci said on NBC News’ TODAY. “That’s the reason why you see people either double masking or doing a version of an N-95.”

How to double-mask

The type of mask you double up on will affect the level of protection it provides.

You seriously could never make this stuff up. But wait, it only gets better.

Check out this report from nitwit Contessa Brewer run on CNBC yesterday:

Yes, folks, the media/Democrat approved talking points are now attempting to move the goal posts to wearing not only two masks at the same time, but three! Hell, why stop there? Why not four? Doesn’t “common sense” dictate that four would be more effective than three? Or why not five?

Indeed, why not just go out and buy a pack of 25 of those blue disposable things and put them all on at once? Nevermind that you’ll end up dying from oxygen deprivation/carbon dioxide poisoning – at least you’ll be safer from the dreaded COVID monster!

If you think the multiple masking farce is absurd, just wait until all the anti-fossil fuels alarmists finally figure out that every one of the masks being sold today is made largely from fibers and materials derived at chemicals and plastics plants from petroleum products. EVERY ONE OF THEM.

So, if we’re all going to double-mask or triple-mask or quadruple-mask, at what point does the waste disposal issue begin to ovewhelm the fake COVID-19 safety issue? Which Democrat/media-driven fantasy retains dominance over the other?

It’s a great question. I just cannot wait to see the answer.

That is all.

January 20, 2021: A Date That Will Live in Infamy

Guest Piece By Gregg Updike

January 20, 2021 was our third day in the last eighty years that will “Live in Infamy”.

Like the other two days it was a beautiful clear crisp morning, but by the end of the day in my Tennessee it will be raining and miserable.  And like the other two days the three “man caused disasters” all occurred through a lack of intelligence and carefully choreographed manipulation.

The first was a political manipulation of a nation 4,800 miles from the continental United States that Americans cared little about in order to get the United States into another foreign entanglement on the other side of Asia that most citizens desperately wanted to avoid at all costs.   December 7, 1941 was blamed on a failure of intelligence, and two local commanders were scapegoated for the disaster; no other people in power were sanctioned.

A willful bliss and pervasive ignorance among our nation’s intelligence organizations coupled with a badly flawed foreign, domestic and economic policy which unnecessary increased our dependence on foreign oil once again failed to connect the dots and 9-11 happened.  Again, no policy makers were held accountable or sanctioned for that failure.

Yesterday completed the trifecta, the dream of the Left, to manipulate enough Americans to accept the final step in the slow methodical decline of the greatest, most prosperous and most generous nation on earth.  Now we have the frailest figurehead ever to hold our highest office run by a massive cabal of anti-Americans with absolutely no checks and balances.  Unlike twelve years ago when the same figurehead became the empty suit vice president of the empty suit president and controlled the legislative branch with massive majorities in both houses of congress, this time he controls congress with the slimmest of margins, so one might think we would be relatively safe from the most radical of impulses of the new administration.  Unfortunately, that is not the case this time around, not with all the GOP frauds who are more than willing to cross the aisle in the spirit of “unity and “bipartisanship”.

We are now going to be governed by the oldest president and the oldest congressional leadership in our history.  One might think, that with age comes wisdom and restraint, and in the past, you would be correct in that assumption.  However, that dynamic has changed for several reasons:

These septuagenarians and octogenarians who are now in positions of power are all from the sixties’ radical generation who never grew up and never gave up their quest to “fundamentally change America”.  It took a long time, but now the path is clear for them to put the pedal to the metal.

Yesterday, was the culmination of a massive intelligence failure of the collective body politic.   It will prove to be much more damaging in the short and long term to our republic because it will be irreversible under the current fraudulent election process.  Regardless of the amount and nature of the massive and undeniable election fraud, the fact remains that at least 60 million Americans could not be bothered to cast a vote to save their country and at least another 60 million Americans actively voted for the destruction of our Constitutional Republic and the elimination of the last vestiges of its system of checks and balances.

In 1968, when I was in the third grade, I learned of the American system of government and how we citizens were able to vote for our leadership.  I felt, what a great system we have; a system to cherish, a system that will ensure the success of the nation forever.  What I was taught back then sadly is not taught to our youth today in most of our schools.  The seeds of our destruction were being planted, very quietly, and very surreptitiously through a series of laws, and court decisions that few saw coming and thus few fought against.  There were many other distractions the MSM were using to keep much of this growing cancer off the radar.  So much for the fourth estate being the nation’s watchdog via the “free press”.  They then, like now were active participants in the propagandizing of America.

The Vietnam War was used as a distraction to keep the masses unaware; it was also used to get Americans used to the idea that defeat was a viable alternative to success, particularly in these “optional wars”.  Prior to Vietnam, defeat, or more correctly, a lack of victory, was an anathema to the American Psyche.  Now such outcomes are baked into the cake.  Our military and our nation were manipulated into accepting stalemated outcomes that always cost us dearly and gained us nothing ever since.  Also, since the seventies, our all-volunteer military has become a social petri dish with the ultimate goal of reducing its readiness and effectiveness.

Then came the contrived gasoline shortages of the seventies which showed everyone just how vulnerable we were to many of the third world’s most despotic rulers.

The 1980 election of Ronald Wilson Reagan reversed our march to the fundamental change the Left so desperately craved; at this time, the sixties’ radicals were beginning to come into positions of power.  Reagan was the original MAGA president, and showed the world that good, when properly applied, can overcome evil.  He was also mocked and strongly opposed by the Left and they went into hiding under the radar for most of his eight years.  Sadly, they weren’t defeated, not even close, they just continued to do their evil deeds under the radar via the manipulation of education and thought.  By the eighties, our federal government was so monolithic that it became a force unto its own and was able to drive a hidden agenda that even Reagan (and later Trump) could not halt.  He was only successful in abating its worst excesses.  But the USSR was ultimately defeated and that was a big blow to the Left.  Reagan brought peace, prosperity and pride back to America and was roundly ridiculed for it by his powerful and influential critics on the Left that he was not able to defeat.  With the 1988 landslide election of his stooge vice president (another bad appointment by a pro-America president) the Left’s survival was assured.

In the ensuing 28 years we had a succession of weak (at best) Republican presidents and radical Democratic presidents that fully reengaged the Left; often under the premise of “bipartisanship” and reaching across the aisle to our friends on the Left.

By 2016 we were in a crisis, and huge numbers of Americans finally saw the light and gave the outsider Donald John Trump a chance to MAGA like Reagan did under similar circumstances.  The Left, and their standard bearer, Hillary was lazy, overconfident and despite their cheating and stacking the deck in 2016, were upset bigly by Trump.  The main difference between Trump and Reagan, was the Left was better organized and had further metastasized throughout all levels of government by the time Trump came to power AND they were NOT going to let him have eight years to implement his MAGA/KAG agenda.  It just was not going to be allowed to happen because if Americans could see the difference between Trump’s policies of capitalistic freedom and prosperity and the Democratic Party’s vision of controlling socialism and despair for eight years, they may never recover.  And that could not be allowed to stand.

Trump, and his vision had to be defeated at all costs and ultimately it was.  Now we get to reap the fruits of our collective laziness of fifty of the last sixty years.

We were able to survive and recover from the Pearl Harbor and the 9-11 episodic sneak attacks that had little staying power against the overall strength of the United States.  January 20, 2021 represents decades of effort on the part of our republic’s domestic and foreign enemies.  It remains to be seen if we will be able to overcome the assault that will be brought against freedom loving Americans in the years to come.

The DC Swamp Police State Grows With Addition of 200 NYPD Officers

No fewer than 11 New York Police Department officers were injured during violent riots staged by BLM/Antifa domestic terrorists in New York City last night.

From a story at DailyWire:

On Monday night, eleven police officers were injured, including one officer who was hit in the head by a glass bottle, as the NYPD and members of a Black Liberation March commemorating Martin Luther King Day clashed near New York City’s City hall.

“Police told protesters to disperse and violence broke out as officers began arresting demonstrators. A total of 28 people were arrested late Monday,” NBC New York reported, citing police sources. The marchers started from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and moved toward City Hall.

ABC 7 reported that police arrested 28 people, most of whom were “charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and blocking the roadway.”

When taken in the context of a dramatically rising incidence of violent crime in the city in the wake of the decision by the communist Democrats who run it to defund the NYPD to the tune of $150 million, one might think that an already overwhelmed department would need to have all available hands to deal with the potential for more riot violence tonight and in the coming days.

But no, you would be wrong. It turns out that Mayor Bill de Blasio apparently believes he has all sorts of resources to spare, given this report by the New York Post:

NYPD arrives in Washington, DC, to help with Inauguration Day security

Dozens of NYPD officers were dispatched to Washington, DC, to help provide security for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden following the deadly siege at the US Capitol.

A video posted to Twitter shows five buses of NYPD cops in DC on Monday.

“This morning, 200 of your officers begin their journey down to the U.S. Capitol, to represent the NYPD and assist with security for Wednesday’s Presidential Inauguration,” the police department tweeted.

That’s right: It turns out that the addition of 26,000 National Guard personnel to the forces of the DC Metro police, the FBI, the Capitol Police and all the myriad other local law enforcement agencies and bureaus and on and on and on just aren’t enough to protect the installation of an illegitimate sock puppet into the presidency tomorrow at noon: DC Mayor Muriel Bowser says she needs to borrow 3,000 more LEOs from other police departments around the country.

This is absolutely disgraceful, a clear effort to threaten and intimidate the half of Americans who do not believe this was a fair and legitimate election from doing or saying anything to oppose it. The DC Swamp knows its Big Lie has failed, and so the brutish bullying must go on.

In the end, 10 Republicans voted to support their sleazy, depraved Democrat colleagues to impeach President Donald Trump on a single article of incitement to insurrection, or something like that. Here are their names:

Liz Cheney of Wyoming

Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington

John Katko of New York

Adam Kinzinger of Illinois

Fred Upton of Michigan

Dan Newhouse of Washington

Peter Meijer of Michigan

Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio

David Valadao of California

Tom Rice of South Carolina

Never forget them, for they have betrayed their country today.

The debate over this farce was perhaps the most squalid display of rank demagoguery and wretched excess ever put on in the United States congress. One of the most putrid of all came from Seth Moulton of South Carolina, who ran his own campaign for the Democrat presidential nomination for about 5 minutes back in 2019:

For the record, there appeared to be about 15-20 National Guard troops marching around the perimeter of the Capitol Building while the shameful debate raged on. Here is a video of them:

Note what you don’t see anywhere in that video: A mob. There is literally NO ONE on the streets around the Capitol Building. Not one soul.

Seth Moulton likes to brag about his status as an ex-Marine. If today is any indication, we should all be thankful we were never in a foxhole with him.

That is all.

The DC Swamp UniParty is Assassinating Trump With a Thousand Cuts

Well, that’s certainly sweet of you, Mr. Pence. – In case you hadn’t heard, Mike Pence sent a letter over to San Fran Nan last night informing her that he wouldn’t be cooperating in any clearly unconstitutional effort to invoke the 25th Amendment against a President who is clearly not “incapaciated,” as the amendment requires:

So, we got that going for us.

The UniParty hangs together. – Meanwhile, though, rumors are flying that Mitch McConnell is fully supportive of Pelosi’s idiotic impeachment effort:

From a story at fading Fox News:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell supports Democrats’ move to initiate impeachment proceedings against President Trump and is “done” and “furious” with him, sources familiar told Fox News.

It is unclear how McConnell would vote in an impeachment trial, should House Democrats vote to impeach Trump. It is not clear at this point whether McConnell would vote to convict.

One source told Fox News that McConnell has not made up his mind about what to do about impeachment, and does not see this as a partisan exercise like the previous impeachment effort against Trump.

Ok, well, to give Cocaine Mitch proper credit, it should be clear that this is not a “partisan exercise” in the Democrat/Republican sense of that phrase. No, this impeachment  is a UniParty event involving the Democans and Republicrats acting in concert with one another now that McConnell’s real party – the Republicrats – no longer have to work within the strictures of trying to pretend they support a GOP president.

Get all that?

The last four years have been an aberration for the GOP in congress, a period of time during which they have been forced by Trump’s massive support base to actually behave like Republicans most of the time and work in the interests of the people who elected them. McConnell and his fellow establishment Republicrats are now betting that, once Trump is no longer President, they can simply discard him and go back to their old swampish ways without having to worry about paying any political price for doing that come future election days.

And it’s not just McConnell: We’ve already noted that Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski, a fervent Trump hater from way back who wanted to prevent Brett Kavanaugh from sitting on the Supreme Court, is also in favor of impeaching the President, and other RINOs like Mitt Romney and Susan Collins will most certainly join in the piling on once the single impeachment article is delivered to the Senate from the House.

Over in the House, Republicrat Neo-Con Liz Cheney, who, along with her daddy is extremely angry that President Trump refused to engage our military in any new wars on his watch, announced that she will vote in favor of impeachment when the Democrats roll it out.

Cheney’s from Wyoming, one of the most conservative states in the nation. In taking this action, she ensures she will face a strong primary opponent in 2022 and will be at high risk of losing her seat in congress. But she is willing to risk that sacrifice to pay her dues to remain a member in good standing of the Swamp’s war-mongering UniParty. And she has fellow fake Republican war-mongers like John Kato of New York, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Fred Upton of Michigan and Jaime Beutler of Washington joining in the fun with her.

None of what the Swamp/Deep State is doing to this anti-communist, anti-war President should surprise us. After all, the last anti-communist, anti-war president, Ronald Reagan, was shot and almost killed as he left the Washington Hilton in 1981. The most recent anti-communist, anti-war president before Reagan, John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in a Dealey Plaza crossfire in 1963.

But this is the 21st century and assassinations and attempted assassinations with guns have fallen out of favor, so the UniParty has spent the last four years trying everything it could think of to remove the outsider in their midst via a never-ending slow motion coup d’etat. All of those past efforts having now failed and with just a week remaining in his term, the swamp rats hope to execute an after-the-fact impeachment and removal process that will prevent Trump from running for the presidency again in 2024.

The fake Republicans supporting the effort believe you are all so shallow-minded that you will forget all about their own mendacity by the time Election Day 2022 comes around. That is truly the level of abject contempt they hold for their own voters.

It’s the same contempt they have always held for Donald Trump, who they are now killing with a death by a thousand cuts. If they can do it to him, they sure has hell can do it to all of us.

That is all.

The Georgia Runoffs: The Democrat Party’s Best Chance to Destroy the American Republic

The year 2020 will commit its final act against the American Republic today in Georgia. There, the runoff elections for Georgia’s two U.S. senate will be completed and the votes “tabulated,” as far as real votes are actually tabulated in any election in America anymore.

Whether they have been cast by actual Georgia residents, by Democrats who have “moved” into Georgia over the last month solely for the purpose of voting, or flown in from a ballot mill staffed by illegal aliens working in sweatshop conditions in Philadelphia for a dollar a day, those ballots will be fed into Dominion Systems “voting” machines that are illegally linked over the Internet with every other machine in the state. Once the initial tabulation has been completed, Democrat vote “adjudicators” will then determine how many more ballots their candidates need in order to “win” the elections.

And all of it will be done under the watchful eye of Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the nominal Republican who oversaw the massive fraud that took place in the state on November 3. Were it not for Raffensperger’s efforts, GOP candidate David Perdue would have won his election outright, and would already have been sworn in to serve his next term in office, so we know where the Sec. State’s real loyalties lie.

President Donald Trump held a rally in Georgia last night for Perdue and the other GOP candidate, Kelly Loeffler. There, he unambiguously called out Raffensperger and Georger Gov. Brian Kemp for their despicable conduct in allowing the state’s election system to become a corrupt scandal. He also promised to campaign against both men when they come up for re-election in 2022.

By then, of course, it will be too late. The “elections” to be completed today will determine which party controls a majority in the U.S. Senate, and if the Dominion machines are able to create enough votes to put Democrats Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff over the top, then some silly elections for governor and sec. state in Georgia won’t really matter much, as the Republic will have already been lost.

Wins by both Democrats today – oh, hell, who are we kidding, we won’t really know who “won” for many days afterwards if Raffensperger has anything to say about it – will enable the Democrat Party to literally destroy our constitutional system of government. Given control of all levers of political power, the Democrats will be able to follow through on their promises to eliminate the senate filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, implement confiscatory taxes on the American middle class, and bestow all manner of executive powers on the president that China Joe Potato Head Biden will be able to use to implement their radical COVID-19 and Climate Change agendas, which at this point are completely intertwined with one another.

With the help of corrupt RINOs in Georgia and in the courts, the Democrat Party succeeded during 2020 in consolidating its 50-year goal of destroying America’s system of free elections. Today is their chance to put the final nail in place in the Party’s 150-year march towards the destruction of the American Republic.

Unless some behind-the-scenes deal has been cut to award one of these crucial senate seats to Loeffler or Perdue, America will be rendered essentially helpless in the face of Democrat tyranny for at least the next two years, and likely longer.

I think I’ll go take an Imodium and go back to bed. Wake me up when it’s over. Or better yet, don’t.

Thursday News Roundup: Rubio Slams Fauci and the FBI Fails America Yet Again in Nashville

The FBI is a raging dumpster fire of corruption and incompetence, part 6,354. – The Federalist’s Sean Davis captures it all right here in a single tweet:

So, the girlfriend of the Nashville bomber made the local FBI office aware that he was loading his RV with bombs a freaking year ago, and the FBI very predictably did…nothing. Just like it did with advance reports of too many school shooters and domestic terrorists to catalogue over the course of this 21st century. It is fair to say, in fact, that this exact narrative is the FBI’s standard procedure in such cases – the agency appears to be in the business of not just ignoring such potential “lone wolves” but cultivating them.

But hey, none of this should be surprising to anyone, given that the FBI is after all a part of the federal government. Yes, the only real solution for this would be for the Bureau to be completely dismantled from top to bottom and reinvented from the ground up. But that’s the case with the Department of Justice as a whole and pretty much every other bureau, agency and department in the DC Swamp.

And none of it will ever happen. Let’s be real here.

This happened in Georgia on Wednesday:

For a full report on the details, check out this report I posted yesterday evening.

Here’s an excerpt from it:

Speaking of movement on other fronts… – We may have had a possible game-changing moment take place in Georgia today, where a subcommittee of the state’s Senate Judiciary Committee held a formal hearing on election fraud that included live witness testimony and presentation of hard evidence.

One of the witnesses was analyst Jovan Pulitzer, a digital expert who explained to the Committee how all Dominion machines are in fact interconnected with the Internet despite the company’s consistent denials, and that he was in fact connected via computer to one such machine in Fulton County as he was speaking:

It is unlawful under Georgia law – and in most, if not all other states – for vote tabulating machines to be linked to the Internet or networked with one another.

Go read the rest. You’ll be glad you did. If there is any such thing as a potential “game changer” in the President’s efforts to reverse the clearly fraudulent outcome of this election, this could be it.

This happened last night, just in time to distract the public’s attention away from what is happening on the election fraud front:

Funny how that always seems to happen, huh? Unsurprisingly, what the Minneapolis Star Tribune refers to as “an angry crowd” gathered at the gas station where the shooting occurred. Gosh, wonder if BLM and Antifa have anything to do with the “crowd” being “angry”?

Here’s an excerpt from that StarTribune report:

Minneapolis police shoot, kill man during traffic stop

For much of the evening, a large police presence as well as an angry crowd were at the scene, a gas station near 36th Street and S. Cedar Avenue. Chief Medaria Arradondo said that witnesses reported the suspect fired first, and officers returned fire.

Minneapolis police shot and killed a man they say fired first during a traffic stop on the city’s south side Wednesday night.

Hours afterward, Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said he will release body camera footage of the shooting Thursday.

It was the first police killing in Minneapolis since the May 25 death of George Floyd at the hands of four since-fired police officers. Floyd’s death spurred protests and rioting that spread nationwide and prompted an intense, often bitter debate about the future of the Minneapolis Police Department.

After Wednesday night’s shooting, a crowd of about 100 protesters congregated near the scene and at times grew tense, shouting expletives and throwing snowballs at police. Later in the evening, protesters remained relatively peaceful as they gathered at a bonfire built in the street.

The shooting occurred as officers tried to stop the man, whom they described as a felony suspect, about 6:15 p.m. at the Holiday gas station at E. 36th Street and Cedar Avenue. Arradondo said witnesses reported that the suspect fired first, and that “police officers then exchanged gunfire with the suspects.” A woman also in the car was not hurt.

Arradondo said he would move quickly to release the footage, and he pleaded with protesters to remain peaceful and to allow the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, which will take over the investigation, to do its work. He said his officers would respect protesters’ constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech but that “we cannot allow for destructive criminal behavior.”

Yeah, good luck with that, Chief. Expect this story to blow up today, as the corrupt news media tries to fan the flames in advance of January 6.

Here’s a thought. – How about we take that $140 million congress wants to sent to Pakistan for “gender studies” and allocate it to St. Jude’s hospitals to pay to help cure kids suffering with cancer instead?

Silly me.

Here’s a look at the line up of villains for the next four James Bond movies:

Ok, just kidding. But it should be.

Our national army of COVID “Karens” captured in two simple cartoon panels:

Think our national subservience to China is going to change anytime soon? – Well, think again:

But enough of that fun.

Marco Rubio did the nation a favor on Wednesday. – The Senator from Miami published an epic op/ed piece at the Fox News website in which he exposes Anthony Fauci for the menace to American society that he truly is.

Here is an excerpt from that piece:

Thanks to our news media’s monomaniacal obsession with President Trump, few have paid attention to an important interview that Dr. Anthony Fauci gave last week, in which he acknowledged that he selectively lied to the American public about the coronavirus and what was needed for our national recovery.

The story is straightforward. For most of this year, Dr. Fauci and other scientists in our public health establishment have been telling Americans that about 60 to 70 percent of the nation would need a vaccine in order for us to reach herd immunity and make the coronavirus a non-issue.

But, speaking with The New York Times, Dr. Fauci admitted that he believes the real number is in fact significantly higher — perhaps 75 to 90 percent — and he declined to be forthright because he felt the country wasn’t ready to hear it. Only now did he say that he feels he has the freedom to “nudge this up a bit” without discouraging the nation.

I am sure that Dr. Fauci — the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases — made the decision to mislead with nothing but good intentions. However, let’s be clear about what he was doing: lying to the American people in order to manipulate their behavior.

The American people deserve the truth; they also deserve accountability. When elected representatives make decisions, they can be held responsible by the public. But when public health officials with decades of experience and leadership within our nation’s institutions short-circuit the political process and make these decisions themselves, they deny the American people that same opportunity — and to change course if desired.

Go read the rest of it. You’ll be glad you did.

WATCH: Bill Gates Can’t Answer When Asked if COVID Vaccines are Safe

Anxious to go out and get that nifty new COVID-19 vaccine? Well, you might want to reconsider after you watch this clip of Bill Gates failing to form anything resembling a coherent, straight answer when asked if these vaccines are safe:

Seems like a simple “yes or no” question to me – doesn’t it to you? Yet, Bill Gates, the billionaire who the corrupt news media holds out as the world’s foremost expert on this subject – and who stands to profit even more billions from these vaccines – is utterly incapable of producing any real answer whatsoever when asked this seemingly simple question.

The Larger Overtones of Trump’s Unilateral Surrender on the Fake Relief Bill

Th-d-uh th-d-uh th-d-uh th-th-that’s all folks! – President Donald Trump, in a likely signal that he is basically giving up on being able to reverse the clearly fraudulent outcome of the 2020 election, agreed to sign the 5,600 page, $2.4 trillion omnibus spending package that included a paltry sum of money for COVID relief amid its thousands of pages of pork spending.

At the same time, the President invoked the terms of the essentially useless Impoundment Act of 1974, sending a “special message” to congress seeking permission to refuse to spend money attached to many of the absurd provisions in the legislation. A majority vote in both houses of congress would be required for congressional approval, and that will not be forthcoming in either house of this most detestable of congresses.

The lone “victory” the President was able to claim on Sunday was the extraction of a promise from congressional leaders that they will vote this week on another bill that will add more COVID-related “relief” spending, thus piling hundreds of billions more dollars onto the domestic debt. Eligible Americans will receive either $1200 or the $2000 the President himself requested, rather than the $600 initially allocated by congress.

From a story at

President Trump on Sunday night signed a $2.3 trillion federal spending and COVID relief bill, averting a government shutdown and ensuring millions of Americans continue to get unemployment benefits.

Despite his misgivings about wasteful spending and low stimulus payments in the bill, Trump said he signed the legislation because “I have an obligation to protect the people of our country“ from further economic devastation. He said, however, “more money is coming” as Congress votes this week on larger checks.

The president on Sunday also invoked the 1974 Impoundment Control Act to demand “rescissions” be made to the spending measures. Under the Act, a president can seek congressional approval to rescind funds by sending a special message to Congress identifying the amount he proposes to cut, the reasons for it, and the economic impact.

So, what we have here is, for all intents and purposes, unilateral surrender by President Trump on this legislation, accompanied by a pretty pitiful attempt to save a little face. Since delivering his 4-minute speech last Tuesday demanding a new bill that cut the pork and increased help to the American people, the President has of course been pilloried by the corrupt news media, along with congressional Democans and Republicrats, many of whom have their own financial futures tied up in the hundreds of pork provisions contained in the bill.

By signing this 5,600 page monstrosity, President Trump is symbolically tossing in the towel, signaling to his enemies that they have won. With the fight taken out of him on this issue, and with his legal team having failed to win any significant court challenges to the fraudulent election, it seems likely that the tossing in the towel is not limited to this single issue.

It’s been hell of a ride, but the days of winning may well have come to an end.

That is all.

Wednesday News Roundup: Trump Disrupts the Swamp With Veto Threat, Pardons

[After a week in the dumpster with technical issues, DBDailyUpdate is back up and running this morning thanks to the sterling efforts of an excellent firm that provides an array of fully-managed hosting services. I have retained their services going forward, so the days of me struggling to try to get these problems figured out myself are over.

I had previously considered just taking the rest of this terrible year off, but let’s face it: There’s just too much going on for that to really happen. So, enough small talk: Let’s go to the Wednesday News Roundup.]

Dear Congress: Donald Trump is still your President. Deal with it. – At least, he’s still the President until January 20th, a fact that is causing a great deal of consternation among the Democans and Republicrats in congress this morning, after the President released a 4-minute video clip promising to veto the atrocity of a $900 billion COVID spending bill they sent over to his desk on Tuesday.

That clip and a full transcript of the President’s remarks are contained in a separate post this morning. Suffice it to say, congressional Democans and Republicrats are not real happy this morning as they awake to the reality that their own planned two-week vacations are being interrupted by a POTUS who won’t just sign off on their latest effort to loot the American taxpayer.

President Trump is also threatening to veto the separate, $1.4 trillion defense/spending bill congress also passed on Monday evening. Lindsey Graham tweeted last night that the President would reconsider both vetoes if the bills were amended to include a larger payment to U.S. citizens and to include repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, language that enables the big tech social media monopolies to engage in rank discrimination:

The problem the Democans and Republicrats in congress have here is that, at this point, the President has nothing to lose by vetoing these bills, given the current “official” status of the election outcome, in which China Joe Potato Head Biden has been declared the “winner” by Dominion Systems and corrupt election officials in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada.

President Trump doesn’t have to worry about ever standing for re-election again, and hey, what’s one more bad media day for this man? Yes, unemployment benefits are scheduled to expire on Saturday unless a bill is signed into law to extend them, but the President has placed that ball squarely back in Congress’s court.

So, senators and representatives who rushed out of DC on Monday evening and during the day on Tuesday are probably going to have to rush back out to the Swamp to do a little damage control, and that will not make them happy, not at all.

Pardon me? – No, but the President did issue pardons for 15 Americans on Tuesday, including George Papadopoulous, who was one of the main subjects of the illegal spying operation mounted by Obama’s FBI and Intelligence Community against the 2016 Trump Campaign. This is great news, as Papadopoulous did nothing wrong, but was bullied by the Mueller Gestapo into pleading guilty to a meaningless perjury charge back in 2018 in order to avoid his family members being targeted, just as they did to General Mike Flynn.

Other Trump pardons included former GOP congressmen Duncan Hunter and Steve Stockman, demonstrating that even Trump himself is not immune to the political demands of the Swamp. Those pardons were definitely undeserved.

The President also pardoned two former Border Patrol officers who were subjected to an entirely political prosecution over the killing of an illegal alien during the George W. Bush administration. Their sentences were previously commuted by Bush, but these full pardons finally give them some real justice, although nothing can ever undo the harm caused to their lives by the corrupt Department of Justice.

The rest of the pardons are detailed in this Business Insider piece:

Among the former lawmakers Trump pardoned was Duncan Hunter, who pleaded guilty last year to one count of misusing campaign funds. He was sentenced to 11 months in prison but has not yet begun serving out his sentence.

Also on the list was former GOP congressman Steve Stockman, who was convicted in 2018 on 23 felony counts of fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, and false statements. Stockman was sentenced to ten years in prison and ordered to pay more than $1 million in restitution. Trump commuted the remainder of Stockman’s sentence on Tuesday, citing his age, his pre-existing health conditions, and the fact that he contracted COVID-19 while in prison.

Trump also granted a pardon to former Rep. Chris Collins, who pleaded guilty last year to making false statements to the FBI and conspiracy to commit securities fraud. He is currently serving out a 26-month sentence.

The four Blackwater guards Trump pardoned on Tuesday were found guilty in connection to a deadly shooting in Baghdad that killed 17 Iraqi civilians. One of the former contractors, Nicholas Slatten, was convicted of first-degree murder and is serving out a lifetime prison sentence. The other three defendants were convicted of multiple counts of voluntary manslaughter, attempted manslaughter, and firearms offenses.

The two former Border Patrol agents the president pardoned, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, were convicted in 2006 for shooting and injuring an unarmed undocumented immigrant. Their sentences were later commuted by President George W. Bush, and Trump granted them full pardons on Tuesday.

The real shame in all of this is that Papadopoulous had to wait so long to have his name fully cleared. But that’s how the DC Swamp works.

Fantastic! How can I help? – The corrupt news media will be all verklempt about it, but this is wonderful news for America: Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz are trying to convince President Trump to submit both the Obama Iran Nuclear deal and the Paris Climate Accords to the Senate for ratification:

Graham and Cruz know without any doubt at all that neither deal – which Obama executed as “executive agreements” during his 8-year reign of terror against the American Republic – could possibly garner the 2/3rds approval of the senate needed for ratification, thus killing them completely dead before China Joe Potato Head can assume office and re-implement them as executive agreements.

It’s a fantastic plan, and we should all hope that President Trump takes advantage of it.

Here’s an excerpt from a story at the UK Independent:

Republican senators Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham have reportedly urged Donald Trump to submit both the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris Climate Agreement to the Senate, in a last-minute attempt to stop the US rejoining the accords once the president leaves office.

In a letter obtained by RealClearPolitics, Mr Cruz, from Texas, urged Mr Trump and US secretary of state Mike Pompeo to submit the accords to the Senate before President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated on 20 January.

Mr Cruz said that submitting the international agreements would trigger votes to ratify them, which are unlikely to pass with a tight Senate, as they would need the support of two-thirds of senators, according to iran-nuclear-deal-republicans-aim-to-block-biden-rejoining”>The Guardian.

The senator claims that if the accords fail to be ratified, it would effectively block Mr Biden from rejoining them, as he would have to contradict a recent decision from the Senate.

A senior congressional aide told RealClearPolitics that submitting the accords to fail in the Senate “would be the final nail in the coffin.”

In his letter to the president, Mr Cruz wrote: “I urge you now to remedy the harm done to the balance of powers by submitting the Iran deal and the Paris agreement to the Senate as treaties.”

He added: “Only by so doing will the Senate be able to satisfy its constitutional role to provide advice and consent in the event any future administration attempts to revive these dangerous deals.”

Understand that all Cruz and Graham are advising President Trump to do is to subject these two treasury-looting deals to the normal course of order that Obama should have been required to follow. Constitutionally, this is the process required to commit the United States of America to such international agreements, a process that has been bastardized and corrupted by decades of horrible Supreme Court decisions enabling Obama’s betrayals.

Do it, Mr. President. After all, what have you got to lose?

That is all.

Glenn Greenwald Eviscerates CNN/MSNBC Over Their Fake Vaccine Coverage

Commentator Glenn Greenwald issued a thread on Twitter Tuesday morning that everyone needs to see. In it, he presents talking heads on both CNN and MSNBC claiming six months ago that President Donald Trump’s promise to deliver a vaccine for COVID-19 by the end of 2020 to be not just unlikely, but “impossible.” Of course, the President, thanks to his Operation Warp Speed, has already caused the deliver of one vaccine, by Pfizer, that is being distributed this week, and two more that will be approved and start distribution to the American public in the coming days.

Here is Greenwald’s thread in its entirety. Take a few moments to read it and bask in its glorious takedown of these two despicable, fake, corrupt cable “news” channels:

Greenwald’s final point – that these corrupt media outlets, not QAnon or WikiLeaks or leakers like Edward Snowden – are the nation’s “greatest disinformation threat”, echoes the point I’ve been making here for years that the corrupt news media is a clear and present danger to the survival of the American Republic.

Never has this been more blatantly true than it has been with the media’s incessant fakery of the news related to COVID-19, a virus that has been used by governors of both parties to exert authoritarian power over the people of their states and to damage the national economy for years to come. An honest, truly functioning national news media establishment could have by and large prevented this tragic outcome by holding those in power accountable for their actions.

Instead, these parrots have acted in unison to enable the subversion of our freedoms and ability to make a living, all with the goal of influencing a presidential election.

A pox on all their houses. Or perhaps a virus. Either way works for me.

Huge Court Wins for Trump in Wisconsin, Michigan

As the Electoral College conducts its vote to declare China Joe Potato Head Biden as the next President of the United States, current President Donald Trump scored important court wins in both Michigan and Wisconsin.

In Michigan, a state judge ordered the lifting of a gag order preventing the public release of the findings of a forensic audit of Dominion Systems voting machines and software used in Antrim County. That forensic audit discovered that the machines created an astonishing error rate of 68.5% of the ballots cast in that county.

From that forensic report, which was conducted by Allied Security Operations Group:

We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.

The system intentionally generates an enormously high number of ballot errors. The electronic ballots are then transferred for adjudication. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, and no audit trail. This leads to voter or election fraud.

Based on our study, we conclude that The Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified.

The allowable election error rate established by the Federal Election Commission guidelines is of 1 in 250,000 ballots (.0008%). We observed an error rate of 68.05%. This demonstrated a significant and fatal error in security and election integrity.

It is critical to understand that the Dominion system classifies ballots into two categories, 1) normal ballots and 2) adjudicated ballots. Ballots sent to adjudication can be altered by administrators, and adjudication files can be moved between different Results Tally and Reporting (RTR) terminals with no audit trail of which administrator actually adjudicates (i.e. votes) the ballot batch.

A staggering number of votes required adjudication. This was a 2020 issue not seen in previous election cycles still stored on the server. This is caused by intentional errors in the system. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency or audit trail. Our examination of the server logs indicates that this high error rate was incongruent with patterns from previous years.

The statement attributing these issues to human error is not consistent with the forensic evaluation, which points more correctly to systemic machine and/or software errors. The systemic errors are intentionally designed to create errors in order to push a high volume of ballots to bulk adjudication.

Research is ongoing. However, based on the preliminary results, we conclude that the errors are so significant that they call into question the integrity and legitimacy of the results in the Antrim County 2020 election to the point that the results are not certifiable.

Because the same machines and software are used in 48 other counties in Michigan, this casts doubt on the integrity of the entire election in the state of Michigan.”

This bombshell report obviously casts doubt on all the ballots cast in those other 48 counties, and throughout the entire state of Michigan. There is no question that this decision will be appealed up the chain by Biden supporters, but the report is already in the public domain and now provides grounds for more challenges to the Michigan election results.

Meanwhile, in Wisconsin… – The Wisconsin Supreme Court today ruled that Democrat election officials in that state incorrectly interpreted the state’s voter ID law to allow all voters in the state to willy-nilly use COVID-19 as an excuse to request a mail-in ballot and thus avoid presenting proper identification in order to vote.

From a story at ElectionWiz:

MADISON — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Mark Jefferson and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.

But the court noted that a determination must be make in every case before tossing a ballot, as President Trump has sought in a separate lawsuit.

Under Wisconsin law, a voter may receive a ballot by mail and bypass Wisconsin’s voter ID law, if the voter, by his own determination, concludes he “confined” based on age, physical illness, or infirmity. This fall, roughly 215,000 voters in Wisconsin said they were indefinitely confined, nearly a four-fold increase from the 2016 election.

The court said the government’s interpretation of Wisconsin’s indefinitely confined was erroneous. “A county clerk may not “declare” that any elector is indefinitely confined due to a pandemic,” the court said. The court further stated that, “…the presence of a communicable disease such as COVID-19, in and of itself, does not entitle all electors [voters] in Wisconsin to obtain an absentee ballot…”

Moreover, the court stated that lockdown orders do not meet the requirements under Wisconsin law to allow a voter to claim the status of “indefinitely confined” either.

This decision will also no doubt be appealed to the federal courts by Biden supporters. Still, a win is a win, and these are two big ones.

FUN: James O’Keefe to Release Recordings of CNN Editorial Staff Calls Today

Wow, this will be tons of unmitigated fun: James O’Keefe of Project Veritas just live-streamed a conversation in which he reveals that he has been able to listen into and record a series of recent CNN editorial staff calls. He plans to release those recordings later today, at 7:00 ET.:

“I think Mr. Zucker is shaking in his boots right now.”

O’Keefe is a master of understatement.

Stay tuned.

Sunday News Roundup: Mass COVID Protests in Europe as the U.S. Grapples With Democrat Election Fraud

While America was preoccupied with the outcome of a clearly stolen election, France is edging towards an open rebellion against the draconian Covid restrictions imposed by its socialist government:

Similar scenes are happening in London:

And this was Berlin on November 22:

Meanwhile, your corrupt, Democrat activist news media here in the U.S. was focused on things that are really important:

Holy crap.

If you think that Democrat governors and mayors have gone as far as they plan to go in restricting your constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms, boy are you going to be surprised.

Take a look at what the Democrat Governor of Kentucky is up to these days:

From the story at JustTheNews:

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has filed an emergency appeal seeking to permit him to close religious schools throughout the state following an earlier ruling dictating that he lacks the authority to do so.

Beshear, a Democrat, last week ordered all schools within Kentucky to close down in the hopes that doing so would curb the state’s recent spike in positive COVID-19 tests.

Following that order, however, U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove ruled that Beshear lacked the authority under the First Amendment to shutter private and religious schools. “[I]n an effort to do the right thing to fight the virus, the Governor cannot do the wrong thing by infringing protected values,” Tatenhove said.

Beshear is just continuing the pattern among Democrat governors of using the China Virus as an excuse to rob Americans of their religious liberties, a tactic that despots like Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer have honed into a virtual art form over the past seven months. There is no science underpinning this assault, no evidence whatsoever that any of the prior lockdowns or mask mandates have done a thing to slow the spread of this virus. If anything, the current outbreak of new “cases” of the virus is more intense in lockdown states than it has been in states like Florida and South Dakota that have avoided resorting to such measures.

There is only fear, superstition and a brutish grab for power by aspiring Central American banana republic dictators like Beshear and his colleagues. They will never relent until the people force them to relent. That day will come sooner or later. Let’s all hope it comes sooner.

It’s not just the weirdos who think this was a stolen election. – Patrick Basham, a professional pollster and director at the Democracy Institute, who makes his living analyzing election data, lays out a dozen or more oddities in the 2020 election results in an excellent piece at the Spectator magazine.

Here is an excerpt from that piece:

First, consider some facts. President Trump received more votes than any previous incumbent seeking reelection. He got 11 million more votes than in 2016, the third largest rise in support ever for an incumbent. By way of comparison, President Obama was comfortably reelected in 2012 with 3.5 million fewer votes than he received in 2008.

Trump’s vote increased so much because, according to exit polls, he performed far better with many key demographic groups. Ninety-five percent of Republicans voted for him. He did extraordinarily well with rural male working-class whites.

He earned the highest share of all minority votes for a Republican since 1960. Trump grew his support among black voters by 50 percent over 2016. Nationally, Joe Biden’s black support fell well below 90 percent, the level below which Democratic presidential candidates usually lose.

Trump increased his share of the national Hispanic vote to 35 percent. With 60 percent or less of the national Hispanic vote, it is arithmetically impossible for a Democratic presidential candidate to win Florida, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Bellwether states swung further in Trump’s direction than in 2016. Florida, Ohio and Iowa each defied America’s media polls with huge wins for Trump. Since 1852, only Richard Nixon has lost the electoral college after winning this trio, and that 1960 defeat to John F. Kennedy is still the subject of great suspicion.

Midwestern states Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin always swing in the same direction as Ohio and Iowa, their regional peers. Ohio likewise swings with Florida. Current tallies show that, outside of a few cities, the Rust Belt swung in Trump’s direction. Yet, Biden leads in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin because of an apparent avalanche of black votes in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee. Biden’s ‘winning’ margin was derived almost entirely from such voters in these cities, as coincidentally his black vote spiked only in exactly the locations necessary to secure victory. He did not receive comparable levels of support among comparable demographic groups in comparable states, which is highly unusual for the presidential victor.

Go read the rest. You’ll be glad you invested the 10 minutes of your day.

About that Dominion Systems… – The video below aired on CSPAN-3 in 2016. In it, an analyst matter-of-factly reveals how Dominion Systems software allows any user to go in and manipulate data in the system, including the changing of tabulated results.

But your gaslighting news media and social media platforms demand that you just ignore this video and pretend it doesn’t exist.

It exists.

Sidney Powell is still going after Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Sec. State Brad Raffensperger. – She’s like a pit bull once she latches onto a target, and these two RINOs are some of her favorite targets.

Powell appeared in an interview on NewsMax TV on Saturday, and again stated that both Georgia RINOs and their family members should be investigated for potential monetary benefits related to their signing off on the deal to use Dominion Systems hardware and software in the state’s elections. “There should be an investigation, a thorough criminal investigation, frankly, of everyone involved in acquiring the Dominion [Voting] System for the state of Georgia,” Powell told Saturday’s “The Count” hosted by Tom Basile and Mark Halperin.

Powell also alleged that other officials at the Secretary of State’s office may be culpable in unlawfully benefitting from the deal, which was entered into as a means of placating Stacey Abrams and her BS allegations of “voter suppression” stemming from her loss to Kemp in the 2018 governor’s race. “I think there are multiple people in the Secretary of State’s office and other that should be investigated in Georgia for what benefits they might have received for giving Dominion the $100-million, no-bid contract,” Powell said.

Powell’s hyper-focus on Kemp and Raffensperger is one of the more interesting aspects of this entire election controversy. It is highly doubtful she would continue to make these allegations unless she has some compelling evidence of wrongdoing in-hand, and the behavior of Kemp and Raffensperger in continuing to refuse to order the conduct of a true audit of ballots from this election only makes them more suspect.

The next two weeks in Georgia are going to be fun to watch.

Wednesday News Roundup: Raffensperger and Kemp Still Obstructing Election Fraud Audit in Georgia

This election was stolen. That becomes increasingly clear with every passing day. How it was stolen varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but a couple of common denominators are clear:

– The presence of Dominion systems; and

– Control of the process by Democrat election officials in big cities like Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia and Milwaukee.

The state-level elecion officials are also Democrats in every state under scrutiny save Georgia, where nominal Republican Sec. State Brad Raffensperger was in control and nominal Republican Gov. Brian Kemp appears to have also been involved. Even today, more than three weeks after Election Day came and went, Raffensperger and Kemp are refusing to allow a real audit of the ballots and especially of the mail-in ballots that were so easily defrauded in all of these big cities.

President Trump, whose legal team appeared to have reached a deal with Gov. Kemp to have the mail-in ballot envelopes audited for proper signatures early this week, expressed his frustration that Raffensperger is still obstructing any such audit last night:

Why is Raffensperger obstructing such an elemental process of ensuring any election was fairly decided? It’s a good question, but one that was answered this morning by Anne Christine-Hoff, writing this morning at the American Thinker.

Here’s an excerpt from that excellent analysis:

There is an explosive investigation in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) regarding the Dominion Voting Machines (DVM) and Brad Raffensperger’s role in easing the security surrounding those machines. According to the AJC, in October the Secretary of State’s office was responsible for weakening the system’s defenses, disabling password protections on a key component that controls who is allowed to vote.

Just days before the early voting started, on October 12th, according to the AJC, Raffensperger’s office “pushed out new software to each of the state’s 30,000 voting machines through hundreds of thumb-drives that experts say are prone to infection with malware.”

According to the article, the features that make this new software vulnerable to hacking would “not be detected without an audit after the election.” The software has a feature where voters verify their selections as a paper ballot and then the ballot is fed into an optical scanner by an election official. For reasons that are difficult to understand, the scanner doesn’t record the text of the ballot. Instead, it reads “an unencrypted quick response” or QR barcode that is indecipherable to the human eye.

That feature, according to the AJC, makes it possible either to tamper with individual voting machines or to infiltrate the state’s central election theory. In theory, hackers could alter the barcodes to change votes and there would be no way to detect the changes.

What was the purpose of this software update? Why did Governor Kemp and Secretary of State Raffensperger spend more than $100 million of taxpayer money to roll out the Dominion voting software at the same time that the Texas’ Secretary of State’s office released a report saying that the machines were vulnerable to manipulation?

Powerful people in Georgia must have really wanted the DVS machines, since the DVS machines were rushed out in Georgia despite multiple objections that there was not enough time for a complete overhaul of the voting system before the March 24 presidential primary. According to the AJC, the rollout in Georgia was “the largest rollout of election equipment in US history.”

Sidney Powell, who has gone out of her way to outright accuse both Raffensperger and Kemp of personally benefitting financially from this rushed adoption of Dominion Systems tech, says she will file her lawsuit in the state of Georgia as soon as today:

Stay tuned. This should be very, very interesting.

Meanwhile, in Michigan… – Another witness came forward with compelling testimony of her personally observing Detroit election workers manually overwriting Trump votes to change them to Biden votes:

Then there’s this in Wisconsin:

From the story at JustTheNews:

The national conservative group Amistad Project filed an emergency petition Tuesday with the Wisconsin Supreme Court challenging the state’s unofficial results in the 2020 presidential election, saying it has identified over 150,000 potentially fraudulent ballots.

Results from the Nov. 3 balloting in the state show Democratic candidate Joe Biden defeated President Trump by a roughly 20,000-vote margin.

Phill Kline, director of the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, said the number of potentially fraudulent ballots identified are “more than enough to call into question the validity of the state’s reported election results.”

And this happened in Nevada:

Thus, things continue to roll along in the Trump effort to expose the Great Election Theft Caper of 2020.

In other news… – Our award for Lack of Self-Awareness for the Year 2020 goes to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for this little gem:

You just could never make this stuff up, folks.

ummmmm…doesn’t he have his own governors to thank for this?

Why yes, yes he does. But you’ll never see the corrupt hacks at Politico report that truth, because the truth is not what they or any of their counterparts at other national media outlets do.

Speaking of corrupt media hacks… – Jonathan Swan over at Axios says he has a scoop, one that would actually be received by Trump supporters as great news.

President Trump has told confidants he plans to pardon his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to the FBI about his Russian contacts, two sources with direct knowledge of the discussions tell Axios.

Behind the scenes: Sources with direct knowledge of the discussions said Flynn will be part of a series of pardons that Trump issues between now and when he leaves office.

The big picture: Flynn’s pardon would be the culmination of a four-year political and legal saga that began with the FBI’s investigation into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and the Russian government in the 2016 election.

If true, this would be an action that is long overdue, something the President should have done way back in May when it became obvious to everyone involved that Judge Emmet Sullivan is a corrupt sleazeball who was just trying to delay any decision in the case until after Election Day.

But hey, better late than never.

And then there’s this bit of unintentional hilarity from reliable old hack Andrea Mitchell:

Holy crap.

Team? What team?  – The Trump legal team tossed Sidney Powell under the bus on Sunday, issuing a statement saying that the Dallas lawyer is no longer affiliated in any way with the Trump campaign, three days after she appeared with Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis at that Thursday press conference.

“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own,” Giuliani and Ellis said in the statement. “She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
