Friday News Roundup: AOC’s Riot Fable Continues to Fall Apart

Every day is a new day for China Joe Biden. – President Biden just can’t help himself. Yesterday he repeated a lie that he made up a decade ago about getting “shot at” while on a trip in the Middle East. That lie has been debunked more times than Jussie Smollett’s lies, but the President likely just forgot about that fact. So, he just blurted it out one more time:

This is who we have in the White House: A man who can’t remember things from one day to the next. If you think it looks and sounds as if every day is a new day for Joe Biden, that’s because it is.

The woman is lying. If you see her lips moving, she’s lying. That’s what she does. – In what should come as a surprise to literally no one on the face of the earth who has synapses firing in their cranial cavities, more factual problems have arisen about the fables AOC has been telling about her experience during the Capitol Riot of January 6.

It turns out that she wasn’t even in the Capitol Building at the time of the riot, but that the timeline she has constructed around her fables simply is not possible.

From the story at RedState.com:

But when the knock came on her door, shortly after 1:01, no one had even breached the Capitol building yet. There was some pushing past an outer perimeter barrier at 12:53 still some distance from the Capitol building but the breach of the building didn’t come until about an hour after the officer knocked on AOC’s door. What she’s saying now is with the hindsight of what later occurred, but there was no way of knowing that people were breaching a building at that point because it hadn’t yet happened.

“As the Capitol complex was stormed and people were being killed, none of us knew in the moment what areas were compromised.” But that “moment” hadn’t actually happened yet at 1:01 p.m. No one knew any of that. The building hadn’t been “compromised” or “stormed” as of yet.

So suggesting that it had, to provide buttress for her reaction, is again manipulative.

There’s also been no public evidence that people were ever trying to storm the Cannon building, much less at 1:01 p.m. We’ve asked the Capitol Police for their records to confirm that but haven’t gotten a response yet.

[End]

RedState should not expect to get an answer from the Capitol Police for the simple fact that AOC is lying, and the Capitol Police won’t want to cause her any more humiliation than she has already brought onto herself.

She’s a liar – it’s what she does. Lying to gullible and easily-manipulated Democrat voters is how she got elected, and it is how she plans to continue to rise through the power structure in Washington, DC. As I have said many times before, if you believe in reincarnation, then when you look into AOC’s dead, beady eyes you should see the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler. At this point in her life, she is Hitler circa 1933 or so, and she intends to keep rising until she becomes Hitler circa 1939.

So of course she is lying about the riot, because the riot, in her mind, simply represents opportunity to manipulate the public. After all, that’s how Adolph would have looked at it, too.

Speaking of opportunities… – If congressional Republicans had spines, they would be looking at yesterday’s action by congressional Democrats to strip Marjorie Taylor Green of her committee assignments as a golden opportunity. In an action without precedent in modern times, the Democrats – with 11 RINOs supporting them – voted to remove a duly-elected representative from Georgia from all House committees.

From the story at the Daily Caller:

The House of Representatives voted Thursday to strip Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments.

In a 230-199 vote, the House voted to remove Greene from the House Education and Budget committees.

Greene has continued to claim that Trump won the Nov. 3 presidential election and has been linked to a number of conspiracy theories, including QAnon related conspiracies. Greene gave a speech on the House floor Thursday after a Wednesday night meeting with House Republicans where she apologized for promoting conspiracy theories and reportedly was met with applause by many in the room.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Wednesday that he would not remove Greene from her committee assignments.

“Past comments from and endorsed by Marjorie Taylor Greene on school shootings, political violence, and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories do not represent the values or beliefs of the House Republican Conference. I condemn those comments unequivocally. I condemned them in the past. I continue to condemn them today. This House condemned QAnon last Congress and continues to do so today,” McCarthy said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon.

[End]

Coming as it does a mere month after it was revealed that Democrat Eric Swalwell had an affair with a honeypot spy from China for a couple of years and the decision by Nancy Pelosi to leave Swalwell as a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, the decision to remove Greene from committees is a truly breathtaking act of hyper-partisanship. Yes, Greene’s a conspiracy theorist who has in the past indicated she doesn’t believe the government’s story on 9/11 and all manner of other things, but the truth is her behavior has been no more repugnant than that of AOC or Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar or Swalwell.

So, if congressional Republicans possessed a spine, they would be looking at yesterday’s vote from a long-term perspective, and making plans to take exactly the same action against AOC, Tlaib, Omar and Swalwell when they take back the majority in the House in the 2022 mid-term elections. That is, after all, the next logical step to be taken here.

But you can bet your bottom dollar that neither Majority Leader McCarthy nor any other GOP house member is entertaining any such thoughts, because to do so would require the possession of intestinal fortitude. It would also require them to finally, at long last, recognize that they are engaged in a very real war on Capitol Hill, and have been for the last 170 years, and the Democrats are the only side truly engaged in the fight.

Thus, when congress convenes in 2023 with a small GOP majority in the House, you won’t see McCarthy allowing any move to remove any Democrat from any committee assignments, under the rationale that if he and his Republican members just play nice with the Democrats, they will play nice, too. It’s a rationale that has consistently proved to be an exercise in rank futility since about 1850, but the Republicans never seem to learn.

That is all.

It has been 70+ years sinvr Hitler, but you still bring up hs name. Why not bring up Stalin? Stalin and his horde, TORTURED, and SLAUGHTERED MORE THAN 100 MILLION people, in RUssia and Eastern Europe. THis was MORE than the petty 6 million allegedly killed in gas chambers.

BTW, did you know the Bolsheviks, including their leaders, were jews?

Gregg

A late response as I have been busy, but I do wish more people would castigate Stalin’s (and his murderous successors running the “Evil Empire” from the 1920s to the 1980s) USSR than Hitler’s Germany – 1933-1945.

And add to it the Chinese leadership since Mao defeated Chang in 1950.

These two former “allies” have caused more worldwide death and suffering for a whole lot longer than Hitler could have hoped to have accomplished.

Yet over 90% of the stories, documentaries and other ‘education’ center on Nazi this and Nazi that to the near total omission of the two main countries that are the driving force of most of the world’s problems today.

Compared to Hitler, Stalin (if he is even known by anyone under 40) is an angel in the minds of too many Americans. Stalin’s USSR was an “ally” of convenience in that he and us happened to be fighting a common enemy from 1941 to 1945.

And Marx/Lenin/Stalin’s Communism, killed and condemned way more people that Hitler’s Fascism. I am most certainly not minimizing Hitler and his repugnant regime and ideology, I’m just saying Stalin’s brand of terror and governance was even worse and at least deserves equal historical mention, because all the US and Britain accomplished in losing close to a half million people was trade one set of tyrants with another set of even worse thugs and tyrants.

It’s a nasty little troll.

Noma, did you know you sound like an idiot? Sorry Dave, couldn’t help it.

Steven Crowder reported on the timing of these events earlier this week. I think he said the Trump speech ended at 1:11 and you’d have to break a 4-minute mile to make it to the Capitol by the time the scuffle at the barricade broke out.

The Republicant Surrender Monkeys have pretty much shown us that the GOP, is in fact, dead. These so called Representatives and Senators are nothing more than power hungry quislings, willing to ignore those who elected them, to “vote their conscience” regardless of what they are expected to do for said constituents.

As I stated before, Lincoln should have just crushed the democrat party into dust after the surrender. He tried reconciliation, assuming that those that had just waged war against the Republic would move past the war and their ambitions. He was wrong, and we are paying for it.

Americans have NO ONE representing them in Washington except for perhaps 5 Republicans.

Gregg

Welcome to President Trump’s world. Trump essentially was an independent president who won the GOP nomination. He certainly had no real support in the GOP hierarchy and establishment, and minimal in congress.

Nixon in his second term probably had more deep support and loyalty within the GOP congressional ranks than Trump.

Had Trump prevailed in getting the fraudulent election overturned he would definitely had even less GOP support; he would have been a lame duck. It would have been an untenable position for him.

Perhaps when we patriots thoroughly gut the establishment GOP at all elective levels, in 2021 and 2022, Trump can reemerge even stronger among the people and this time with the real backing of politicians who really want MAGA/KAG.

But she FEELS like that is what COULD have happened!

I agree totally Dave. After AOC redistricted out for the 2022 election, she will challenge Chucky for his Senate seat. As far as the Rs growing a spine, what happens if DJT were to run for Congress? I don’t see that happening because he is a lifelong executive and even House Speaker wouldn’t be the best fit. Jay

Gregg

Jay,

There is no way she gets redistricted into oblivion. Even if her seat gets eliminated, there are about ten NYC districts who would happily reelect her over their perceived do-nothing donkey. Winning a low turn-out primary is how she won over the entrenched Crowley in the first place. Her base of lunatic voters (a donkey in NYC only needs about 100,000 as opposed to 250,000 votes in a contested race to win the general election) will vote for her in the primary wherever she chooses to run, or she will primary whatever donkey becomes the incumbent in her redrawn district. A couple of the old donkey warhorses (Nadler and Maloney) could easily be persuaded to retire and turn their sear over to AOC.

If memory serves, the Maloney seat was being greased for Walking Eagle’s and (supposedly) BJ Clinton’s daughter several years ago, but the Chelster proved to be even a bigger bimbo than AOC – which is saying a lot).

No, AOC is seen by many as a, if not the, rising star in the party. Sooner or later the party has to get younger, and if the empty vessel btfsplk can become president, the sky is the limit for the empty vessel AOC.   She IS THEIR AGENDA.

If things keep going the way they are going, I could easily see her directly succeeding MaligNancy Klink as SPEAKER for forever in ten years when the then 90-year-old Klink decides to finally retire or assumes room temperature. Both have about the same qualifications (quoting Klink: A half full glass of water with a (D) after their name will win in our districts), and the same intellect and IQ.

If she does decide to challenge the Schmuckster who is up in 2022, for whatever reason, she may actually cost the donkeys that senate seat because the rest of the state (the sane part of the state) may well be motivated to vote against the extremist wacko AOC; NY state does occasionally elect Republicans on a statewide level. The key is, will the GOP run someone decent or a Mutt McRomney type hack?

David H

Alexandria! Bring me a tall cold one. And put a head on it.

John Dee

No put her head on it!
