Tuesday News Roundup: Arizona Shenanigans Show Why Trump is Fighting a Longshot Battle

Dear Joe DiGenova: You are not being helpful. – Why the President would entertain having Joe DiGenova as a part of his legal team in the election fraud fight is anyone’s guess. But it turned into a big fiasco during yesterday’s informal fact-finding hearing in Arizona. Jonathan Turley summed up my feelings on the matter pretty succinctly:

Not helpful, Joe. Not helpful at all. Go away.

As for the rest of that hearing, legislators in attendance heard tons of testimony from witnesses to the rampant election fraud efforts that went down in their state – especially in Maricopa County – on Election Day.  A parade of witnesses testified to abuse of the process by Democrat election officials and regarding the insecurities of the Dominion Systems machines and software in use in Arizona.

Unfortunately for the Trump effort, the only part of the hearing that got any traction with the corrupt news media was DiGenova’s idiotic outburst, so the hearing did little to advance the Trump cause. It’s important to note here that, like the hearing held last Friday in Pennsylvania, this was not a formal hearing called by the Speaker of the House or Senate President in Arizona, which would have been extraordinary given that the legislature there is not currently in session.

As a result, despite the promises given by the Republican members in attendance to seek a special session to reconsider the state’s process for choosing its electors, there is very little likelihood for that actually taking place, just as there is virtually zero chance that GOP legislators in Pennsylvania or any of the other states in question will summon the political will to act.

I have warned you all along that the courts are literally the President’s only chance at reversing these election results, and his court cases are long shots as well. That is not because his cause isn’t just – it clearly is – but because getting any legislature or court to act to do the right thing here requires an extraordinary act of political or judicial courage on their part.

The vast majority of GOP politicians and judges are cowards at heart. They talk a good game but seldom possess the courage to follow through in their official actions. There are 10 dozen Lamar Alexanders and Lisa Murkowskis in the GOP for every Ted Cruz or Rand Paul.

Any legislator or judge who acts to overturn these reported election results is going to come under withering assault from potentially violent leftist activists and the entirety of our corrupt media establishment. It is a rare politician or judge indeed who will be willing to invite such an assault on themselves and their family members by acting to do the right thing.

Instead, we are almost certain to see the public posturing by legislators we have seen thus far in PA, AZ and Michigan, but that will be followed by a decided lack of real action. Where the judiciary is concerned, the U.S. Supreme Court is really the only hope for the President and his supporters. We can be certain that John Roberts will timidly side with the three communist justices on the court, meaning that every one of the five conservative members would have to hold together in the face of the media/Democrat assault.

A new poll this week shows that 47% of Americans now believe – correctly – that this was a stolen election. But there remains very little good reason to be optimistic that any of the fraud will be reversed. That’s just  me dealing with reality, folks. You should all deal with it, too.

Here’s a great example of that sad reality. – Arizona Governor Mike Ducey, a nominal Republican, eagerly certified the state’s election results as the informal hearing was taking place, and promised to quickly swear-in Democrat Mark Kelley to take over the senate seat currently held by Republican Martha McSally, who Kelly supposedly defeated in the election. Because that’s the kind of thing fake Republicans like Ducey do.

Here’s an excerpt from a report at Mediaite, noting that Ducey apparently ignored a last minute call from the President himself while in the process of pandering to his Democrat masters:

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey received a phone call in the middle of a live broadcast of an election certifying ceremony that confirmed his state’s electors would vote for President-elect Joe Biden. Ducey blew off the phone call, which, judging by the ringtone and Gov. Ducey’s previous account, was a phone call directly from President Donald Trump.

That’s right. Trump appeared to make a last-ditch phone call to Gov. Ducey to keep him from certifying the election results, and the governor ignored the call. The most embarrassing part? It was captured on camera.

The moment was first noted by Arizona local news host Brahm Resnik, which the producers at Morning Joe cleverly cut with footage with Ducey’s prior admission that he had customized the ringtone on his phone to play Hail to the Chief every time President Trump rang him directly. As you can see and hear in the footage above, the incoming call’s ringtone is definitely Hail to the Chief.

Note to Arizona voters: When presented by your state GOP with limp-wristed RINO candidates like Doug Ducey, just vote for the Democrat instead. You will be less disgusted with the results of your actions.

Over in Georgia, the Secretary of State who keeps bragging about how “secure” his election was, Brad Raffensperger, admitted on Monday that his office is investigating no less than “250 cases of credible claims” of election fraud.

From a report at DailyWire:

“As we move forward in the process, we will, as we always have been, we will continue to investigate credible claims of illegal voting and violation of state election law,” Raffensperger said. “There are currently over 250 open cases from 2020 and we have 23 investigators to follow up on that. Some of these include, a charge Gwinnett County that absentee ballots outnumber absentee envelopes. This is the kind of specific charge that our office can investigate and ascertain the truth.”

“We have multiple investigations underway surrounding absentee ballots in Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, and many others. We continue our investigations into potential dead, double voters, and non-resident voters,” he continued. “As we move to the December 1st election, which is tomorrow, and the January 5th federal runoffs, we have to remain vigilant.”

“That is why I’m announcing an investigation into third party groups working to register people in other states to vote here in Georgia,” he added. “We have opened an investigation into a group called America Votes who is sending absentee ballot applications to people at addresses where they have not lived since 1994; Vote Forward, who attempted to register a dead Alabama voter, a woman, to vote here in Georgia; The New Georgia Project, who sent voter registration applications to New York City, at Operation New Voter Registration Georgia, who is telling college students in Georgia that they can change their residency to Georgia and then change it back after the election.”

Raffensperger concluded the press conference by repeatedly reminding people that committing election fraud in Georgia, which includes voting in the state when a person is not a resident of the state, is a felony.

Oh. So, maybe the election wasn’t all that “secure” after all, huh?

Be careful about this one, though: Anyone expecting Raffensperger and his investigators to really conduct good-faith investigations of all of these myriad claims of fraud should remember that this is the man who has steadfastly refused to conduct anything resembling a real audit of absentee and mail-in ballots in his state.

This guy is part of the problem, not a part of any solution.

Good to see CNN latching onto reality here. – While all of that was going on, the despicable news-fakers at CNN suddenly discovered what the rest of us have understood since February: That China has not exactly been up-front with the rest of the world where COVID-19 is concerned.

Welcome to the party, pals!

It really is the alien’s, y’all. – Remember that metal monolith that mysteriously just appeared in the remote wilderness of Utah last week? Yeah, the Bureau of Land Management officials who discovered it found out on Sunday that it has just as mysteriously disappeared:

As if that weren’t odd enough, the dang thing seems to have just as mysteriously reappeared atop a hill in Romania:

I’m not saying it’s aliens, but…

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than Whatfinger.com is the only real conservative alternative to Drudge, and deserves to become everyone’s go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

OK I give up

Are you afraid of my comments? Why else would you censor me?

You keep telling me it’s a duplicate, but you have never published it???????????????????

So where’s my comment?

All of these hearings are a joke. If you thought, suddenly, everyone was going to do the right thing, you’re nuts. Trump blew it by allowing Barr to fake it for so long. His one chance was to fix the DOJ/FBI before the election and he blew it by putting his money on Barr and allowing Barr to keep his job even after it became blatantly obvious that Barr was covering up the corruption because he is one of “them.”

The hearings are Kabuki… But the Rudy G, Sidnet P and L Wood is where the real battle is… Bagpipe has been a swamp critter all along, there to mitigate swamp damage, nothing more. Got excoriated for saying as much.

Barr just flipped to the dark side, claims that the DOJ doesn’t have enough evidence to believe Trump won the election, and that there wasn’t sufficient fraud to overturn the election.

Since this man might be required to go to SCOTUS, it’s time for him to be fired.

He wasn’t on the Trump team from the start, there was no flipping.

I now concur. What other evidence do we need? It’s straight from his own lips.

No confidence in Durham, either. None

Here’s a possibility, based upon precedent:
5 states’ elections will not be allowed by SCOTUS, but SCOTUS will not decide who is the winner.

If you remember: Roberts lambasted politicians for making the Obamacare/ACA deal, and he felt that it should be decided by elected representatives – (and Ryan betrayed us if anyone remembers when we had the opportunity to undo the legislation.)

So in other words, Chief Justice Roberts doesn’t want to do what the politicians haven’t the will to carry out; he didn’t want the SCOTUS to be used as just another political arm, and wanted it to be apolitical. Now, that’s a Faberge Egg version of reality, but he thinks what he thinks.

So when it is brought to the Supreme Court, it will be thrown to the states for the states to decide, one vote one state. That way, the SCOTUS can avoid the appearance of selecting the President.

Then, President Trump will remain President, and will be able to run again in 2024, because he would have been put into office by Congress, not elected. For those who want to cheat the election, beware: you will potentially have President Trump for a Grand Total of 12 glorious years!

This doesn’t mean peace and love and Bobby Sherman: this will still require the militarization of certain regions, and the arrest, detention and prosecution of those who illegally attempted a coup, both in his first four years and in his re-election.

That is a likely scenario, given the number of pixels we have available.

@ Brian,

The only crime in fighting is to lose. Never back down because being a foot wiping welcome mat is the ultimate defeat.

Couldn’t have said it better. Thank you

Gypo O'Leary

Why Ducey being a douche?
The claim is Raffensberger and Kemp have been paid off by family cashing in on Dominion deals.

Same in AZ?

When you have such obvious low rejection rates of absentee votes, it seems simple that close scrutiny of recounts is called for at a minimum. without at least that, Biden is not a legitimate President for half this country.

Just Me

Never thought I’d live to see the downfall of my country; but, at 73, apparently I will. A second civil war, even if successful in defeating the traitorous minions, will produce something other than the country I knew.

I personally don’t think pining about a potential steal is being a realist but more in line with being a defeatist. Grew up on the scrawny side and have always been misjudged. My lifes motto was to never run from a fight, I may have to back away but I’d never turn and run. Took a few beatings and gave more than I lost. And I’m nothing special.

I posted the article from the Burning Platform yesterday which is pretty much how I go into any battle. Is the enemy going to cheat and deceive?? Hell yeah, but so what. This election is like getting your bell rung, your head swims and ears ring, your balance is thrown for a time.

So you give in??? Toss in the towel and feel sorry its not going your way??? My response would be BULLSHIT… Time to shake your head and get back into the fight with even more ferocity. Time to take the gloves off and put the boots to the enemy. Fighting harder doesn’t mean flailing like a soyboy but fighting like a Tyson or an Ali, smarter.

I’d stand behind Jimmy any day of the week, fight to win. Fight smarter but fight.

Its a war… never surrender, if you do it won’t end well for you.

John T Kirkpat

Mr. Blackmon, all respect, but you’re starting to sound like the pollsters lying to keep conservatives down. Have some faith. If not in a higher power, then at least in we, the disenfranchised.
We don’t surrender quite so easily.

Didn’t know you were an atheist or agnostic, Dave.
I’ll pray for you.

The Lord has a lot to do with this, but a nation judges itself by its choices, and the Lord allows us to choose whether or not to be judged.

“Faith in a higher power really has very little to do with any of this”

It has a lot to do with this – all of it. But you are free to believe what you want to believe; that’s the system we have made for ourselves, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

John T Kirkpat

Understood. The faith I meant to refer to was in those real world, real people. The other kind sustains; the real people kind wins wars. Herr Hitler learned that lesson. I believe we can show the progressives the same kind of unity.

Again, with all respect for what you do.

Long Dark Winter

A brilliant plan by the CCP to conquer the republic without firing a shot.
Only possible due to a fifth column of traitorous scum.
The spineless comfort zombie jellyfish called the populace better enjoy the comfort zone because all of that is coming to an end.

A sad but probably accurate appraisal of the President’s chances Dave.

While the Democrat Politicians and most of the media are the known enemy and often are defeated in reasonable states and districts, it is the Fifth-Column RINOs who covertly undermine and sabotage conservativism. They are the real enemy of conservatism, President Trump and his seventy to eighty million active supporters/voters.

When some RINOs happily (I’ll never forget Crystal smirking on TV election coverage as a Republican “analyst” when the GOP lost both the house and the senate on the miserable November night in 2006.) lose, they just don’t care and often blame the “radical Right’s” message for the losses – how come the radical Left never gets blamed for Democratic landslide congressional losses, or Walking Eagle’s 2016 loss? Then two years later they are begging for the votes from the same “radical Right” and falsely claim they will “fix” Washington if voted into power. And when they win; nothing happens, and all kinds of excuses are given: Well, we don’t have the senate, well we don’t have a filibuster proof majority in the senate, well we can’t override a presidential veto, well we don’t have the presidency, well we are blocked by liberal courts…

Most politicians are feckless cowardly weasels who couldn’t make it in the real world – especially Biden and his kid, the Clintons and their little bimbo, ‘the One’ and his wife… However, the Democratic radicals, with the support of their Goebbels’ style media know no bounds and most of their leaders fight like hell to WIN, and they have plenty of expendable lemmings to follow their lead because the Pelosis and Schumers along with their party whips, rule their respective chambers with an iron fist – any unauthorized departure from the reservation and you will not get campaign funding, or be primaried – if not by the DNC, then by the “Justice Democrats”.

Apart from Majority leader Mitch McConnell growing a pair with judges, the RNC is a joke and as a whole does not really support president Trump; they only tolerate him. I have never seen such lackluster support for a most successful president ever. It was one thing for Democratic house and senate members to distance themselves from BJ Clinton’s and ‘the One’s’ unpopularity and try to make their respective races local rather than national, but NO Democratic politician ever, EVER, EVER! admonishes THEIR presidential candidate to punt away the presidency, especially when there is so much apparent and obvious fraud and the outcome is in dispute.

Imagine what could have been accomplished if Trump had the style of support in the house and senate that Dingy Harry Reid and MaligNancy gave to ‘the One’ throughout his eight miserable years.

Sadly, we conservatives seldom get mobilized to primary our lame GOP senator or rep; thus the RINOs effectively rule the GOP and control its policy. We keep sending the same dead wood back and we keep expecting different results.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree with Dave in that in some cases if we are given a choice of a lame Republican versus a “moderate” sounding Democrat, we might as well vote for the Democrat. If the country is going to go to hell in a btfsplk administration, then we might as well defeat our GOP frauds.

The sad fact however, is almost all defeated politicians since at least Jimmy Peanut wind up doing just fine and are usually better off in defeat or ‘retirement’ than in victory. They are then free to join any number of “private” groups as lobbyists in DC or in their state capitols and slurp from the public tit for as long as they are able to bring home the bacon to their corporate masters. They also have the additional benefit as a lobbyist, since they are out of the limelight, and no longer have to kiss-up to the voters. Most do very well in the “private” sector. In fact, defeated legislators on both the state and federal level probably have more impact on public policy than most elected officeholders.

Ben Colder

I have said all along that what is happening would happen got called a troll and other names .makes me feel like just shutting up .I don’t think Trump really has much hope they have been after him from day one the hate him the Rinos are just as bad as the dem/communists if not worse and now they have joined forces .As for me I will never vote for another RINO and I may never vote again. If they get by with this down and out election steal I doubt if it will matter if you vote or not .We are in for some very bad times I think.

Sorry Dave, but you’re wrong; the President has a lot of alternatives, including Martial Law and certain Presidential Executive Orders.

Considering that foreign governments were conspiring with our own CIA and others, this is no time to just roll over, should the courts fail in their duty.

Fact is, the government has been trying to stir a rebellion for a long time; it’s called PATCON, which is a radicalization program that was used with OK City and Ruby Ridge and others. They measure how far we will go to to secure our Constitutional Rights, and they fear a general uprising.

Take notice: the uprising will happen, whether or not you like it, but it won’t be on the Left (nor Right.) And as far as the Left goes, they don’t have the numbers. and most of the Dem voters who voted for Biden will do nothing – they wear masks in their cars driving down highways, terrified of the Great and Powerful Fauci and his Magic COVID.

Lin Wood is just as strident as De Genova, and he has facts. I suspect that he will make a fine Attorney General.

There are remedies and remedies and remedies, and if this fraudulent election stands, we will be in a civil war; if it is overturned, there will have to be Martial Law with the arrest of the conspirators. That’s just a reality, even though it seems unthinkable.

I doubt Trump has the guts to follow through; he really just wants to be the Good Guy, and he has been, much to the dismay of the Left. But he needs to understand that the American people are not willing to have the most sacred of rights we’re given, even if many don’t use it: free and fair elections.

There needs to be some hangings.
