Wednesday News Roundup: The Presidential Election Seems Destined for the Courts

As the day dawns on November 4, America faces a temporarily hung jury on its presidential race, although how long it will remain hung is anyone’s guess. As of this writing early in the morning on November 4, President Trump clings to narrow leads in the states of Georgia, North Carolina and Michigan, and a much larger lead in Pennsylvania. The trouble is that, unless Arizona, where Joe Biden leads, turns around, the President would need to hang on in all four of those other states in order to gain the 270 electoral votes necessary to win a second term.

There was no Blue Wave forecast by all the media-financed pollsters in this election, nor was there the Red Wave that yours truly and others foolishly projected yesterday. What there was instead was a vast sea of still waters, barely changed from 2016, but, thanks to a tsunami of mail-in ballots of questionable provenance, shifted just enough to perhaps get the Democrat Party’s clearly-addled nominee over the finish line at the end of the day, possibly this day.

The President promised to challenge the vote counting processes in some of these states in a speech given in the wee hours of the morning, but the chances of that effort having any success does not appear to be strong. As the ballots continue to roll in from Democrat-controlled cities like Atlanta and Detroit and Philadelphia, it’s hard not to assume that some significant voter fraud is taking place in Biden’s favor. Whether the President’s team could reverse any outcomes by actually proving that such fraud was massive enough to make the difference in, say, Michigan and Georgia, which both appear destined to ultimately turn to Biden’s advantage seems unlikely given the ineptitude of such efforts from the past.

In other news from last night, Fox News again beclowned itself with election coverage that ranged from the ridiculous to the sublime. The trending-blue channel’s system of calling states was in fact so outrageously nonsensical that one of its own prime time anchors, Tucker Carlson, actually kind of called it out during a monologue about how awful the media was in general:

As per usual, Fox appeared to be more interested in giving all of its paid contributors specific amounts of contractually-required airtime than it was in actually covering the news of the election. Thus, viewers were forced to sit through endless droning and rants from the likes of Chris Wallace, Juan Williams and Donna Brazile while Fox lagged 30 minutes behind CNN and the networks in reporting actual election results.

CNN, meanwhile, ran circles around Fox, with John King and Wolf Blitzer providing near-constant up-to-the-minute coverage of the actual results to its viewers. Yes, Fake Jake Tapper was his normal insufferable self, but all in all, Election Night remains the only night in any year in which it is acceptable to tune your TV to CNN.

As  I was compiling this piece, the vote in Michigan narrowed to just a 2,000 vote Trump edge:

Trump (R): 49.2% (2,345,412 votes) Biden (D): 49.2% (2,343,266 votes)

A 2,166 vote lead with tens of thousands of absentee votes to be counted. Some of those AVs still outstanding are from Trump-leaning areas, but probably not enough. Michigan could end up becoming 2020’s version of Florida 2000, with weeks of recounts and litigation lying ahead.

Note: That Trump edge rose back up to about 21,000 a few minutes later. Who knows? Maybe there’s still hope.

It looks like President Trump will be able to hang on in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, but Georgia also could be destined to remain up in the air for days if not weeks to come.

Ohio, meanwhile, went bright red again, with the President prevailing by a whopping 8% of the vote in a state that for almost half a century was the true bellwether in presidential contests. WSJ columnist Kimberly Strassel points out just how comically wrong some of the media’s favorite pollsters were about that state:

That’s right: Quinnipiac, one of Nate Silver’s gold star polling groups, missed Michigan by 13 point. She could have ridiculed several other polling groups given that, of the 10 most recent polls of Ohio, only Trafalgar showed Trump with a lead there.

Florida also went much brighter red than it has been in decades, with Trump rolling to a fairly easy 3.5% edge in the Sunshine State. Strassel also pointed to the futility of most pollsters there:

Quinnipiac only missed Florida by 9. Holy crap.

But wait, there’s more. How many polls did we see in recent weeks showing GOP senate incumbents Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, Roger Marshall and even Mitch McConnell in deep trouble? Hint: the correct answer is TONS of polls.

Guy Benson pointed out the absurdity of those polls early this morning:

That’s right: Lindsey Graham prevailed by double digits despite his opponent getting about $130 million in Hollywood and New York money for his race. John Cornyn fought off about $40 million of out of state money coming into his goofy opponent to win by 10 in Texas.

Back to the presidential contest: Stay tuned. We may end up seeing litigation and recounts all the way to January. We are truly in perilous times.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger.com is the only real conservative alternative to Drudge, and deserves to become everyone’s go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

This one was always headed for the courts. trump wouldn’t take an easy win if he had earned it.

It’s always been headed for the Supreme Court and, thanks to Trump and McConnell, we have a chance at a fair decision on all the voter fraud and corruption that’s going on. All this mail in voting and extensions can’t be legal. Trump is the toughest guy on the planet. I give him HUGE credit for what he’s accomplished in exposing the corruption AND getting his agenda done. He’s not withering away from this either. He’s prepared and obviously has had plenty of time to make offense his best defense.

Initial Postmortem on the 2016 Election as of 0600 Nov. 4, 2020:

330 million US citizens X .8 to determine the voting age people = 264 million eligible voters. According to FOX 135.34 million voted for Trump and btfsplk for a total of 98.4% of the tallied vote. That means less than 140 million voted for president for a participation rate of 53%. That is pathetic and disgraceful!

So much for the “Outrage Election”.

The senate appears to be a 51 or 52 GOP which keeps it red barely (especially with RINO Collins ME surviving, but that is as good as we can expect form the Maniacs) depending on the BS that is going on in the Detroit area.

The house appears to be a wash with MaligNancy Klink staying in charge of her collection of turds.

It appears a huge percentage of assholes who live in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY*, NJ*, MD, DE, VA, IL*, MN*, MI*, WI*, WA*, OR*, CA*, and HI really enjoy making being ridiculously stupid an artform. The asterisk (*) denotes the states that really enjoy getting their cities trashed and/or being run by dictators and taxed into oblivion.

The country cannot and will not survive under these circumstances. The fact that fully 40% (depending upon how many legitimate votes were actually cast and are yet to be ‘counted’) would vote for a demented, senile, old, corrupt, fool who spent over 60 percent of his life in elective office and accomplished nothing good of any note shows that we as a nation do not deserve to survive as a free nation. Especially since he was running against an amazingly effective and accomplished incumbent; so much for the “advantage of incumbency”, so much for working hard and so much for a politician winning by keeping all his promises. President Donald John Trump was not a bored tired Bush Sr. running against a charismatic B.J. Clinton and the upstart Independent H. Ross Perot. He was not Ford running against the grinning supposedly the anti-establishment Carter; he was not an old Dole running against a popular Clinton or ‘the One’ running against McLame or the designated loser Mutt McRomney.

    Sad, oh so incredibly sad.

The “conservative democrats”, the “Reagan democrats”, the “Trump democrats”, the “Independents”, and everyone else who supposedly desires and wants national and personal success, the rule of law obeyed and enforced, “normal American values” brought back into the mainstream have had chance after chance since 1964 to change the course of the national decline and they have shit the bed almost every time when they have had a PAINLESS OPPORTUNITY to change America for the good; to get the country on the “right track”.

Bottom line: The vast majority – the 40% percent who can’t be bothered to vote and the other 30% who always vote communist – of Americans don’t want to fix what ails the country, or don’t want to fight for a prosperous capitalistic free country, especially when it is painless to do so. It is really amazing we are doing as well as a country given that fully two thirds of the country either doesn’t give a shit or is anti-America at its core. It is a real testament to the brilliance of our founding fathers and of their constitution, but given enough time and enough evil intent, anything can be intercoursed up.

My prediction: Within a generation, (20 years) America will dissolve into the Red States and the Blue States which would set it up to be very vulnerable to outside threats and be defeated in detail by one or more Asian powers.

I changed the way I watched the results last night as I could not stand to hear Juan Williams, Donna Brazile and the “genius” expert slob Carl Rove pontificate/bloviate all night. I listened to the hosts of a TN talk radio station until midnight and clicked back and forth on the FOX graphics of the individual states for the various races. FOX SUCKS!!! Plain and simple. A couple of examples:

    1. FOX, for the last two federal elections, could not wait to announce the house becoming and now remaining under Democratic control – they were almost orgasmic and announced it when most of the country was, and apparently is, still voting.
    2. In Virginia, like in 2016, Trump had a seemingly comfortable lead with a high percentage of precincts reporting and yet it was called so early as to alter possible votes in other time zones. Worse, their graphics are flat out wrong. How can all the Dem areas of the DC area (NOVA), Tidewater, and Richmond show over 90% reporting with generally not overwhelming Biden support and plenty of Red counties still having outstanding votes with both Trump and Senator Warner’s challenger having a 3-4% lead, and then poof, like FM, it flips to btfsplk/Warner.
    3. In Ohio, Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) showed over 200,000 votes cast and percentages shown and yet shows “0%” reporting – that is just sloppy.
    4. In Pennsylvania, according to their stated % reporting in the Philadelphia area and the Pittsburgh Dem strongholds there are just not enough remaining votes to overcome Trump’s huge lead.
    5. And of course, the early calling of VA, and AZ, and long delayed calling of FL, OH, and TX and they still refuse to call NC or GA for the President is designed to buoy btfsplk and suppress/depress votes for President Trump.
    6. And their probability needles are just plain bogus and make no sense unless the fix is known in advance and it is baked into the results.

This was the eleventh (since 1980) election night I have watched or closely followed, and each night’s coverage gets worse than the last, which largely mirrors, with few exceptions, the trend of national politics since Reagan’s Revolution. I probably should have checked out CSPAN instead.

In closing, I will continue read Dave’s blog and listen to my talk radio shows when I can, but I am not going wrap myself around the axle like I did for five or so weeks in the Florida recount twenty years ago. It just isn’t worth the angst. I recommend we all do the same. Obviously I hope President Trump prevails, but it is out of our hands at this time and we really all need to get back to some semblance of a normal life.

    PS: Two other things:

Really surprised there were no riots last night which proves there is a powerful organization running the rioters, and I look for CV-19 to quietly go away as the Dems have milked it for all it is worth and now know exactly how much dictatorship and where the American lemmings will tolerate – especially if the Dems successfully steal this election.

Regarding city elections and stupid city (blue) voters:

Yesterday it was announced in Nashville (coincidentally on the busy election news day) that some hack judge blocked the grassroots anti-property tax referendum that got more than double the required signatures to get an anti (34% property tax increase) tax referendum on the December ballot.

In and of itself, that is not big news. What makes it big news is Nashville is a city that has been economically devastated not by CV-19, but by the actions of their da Blasio protégé Mayor Stooper (Cooper). Nashviliians could have sent a strong message to Stooper by voting for President Trump.

Here are the latest results from two long suffering cities that have been long ruled by Democrats:

    Nashville with 91% votes in: Trump 99K 32%; btfsplk 198K 64%
    Portland with 86% votes in: Trump 80K 18%; btfsplk 358K 80%

Obviously the city dwellers in most American blue areas want rotten schools, massively and continuously increasing property taxes, rampant crime, defunding of police departments, and they want to continue to buy, keep and occasionally use plywood for glass protection. Talk about mind-numbed robots who apparently want to be known as the highly educated people, the nation’s elite, who want to continue living in the nation’s schiff-holes! Unless they move to Red areas to intercourse them up too like a spreading cancer.

And these are the same people who derisively mock us ditto-heads by calling us the mind-numbed robots and many other much worse names.

As Ron White say: “You can’t fix stupid”.

      PS to my Nashville comment:

The Nashville Area congressman is Stooper’s brother AKA the the tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb of Mid-TN buy some, but not enough. And, off course, he ran unopposed.

After this post I’m done talking about the election until the actual Presidential and congressional winners are selected by Mister Roberts and some other “conservative” SC judge who has been corrupted/compromised.

If btfsplk/roundheel ticket gets anointed and the senate stays GOP 52-48, it would not surprise me if both the Muttster and Collins switch parties to make it 50-50 and give Karma Roundheels, or whoever becomes her VP the deciding 51st vote. It is almost pre-ordained.

Wake me up when this nightmare is over.

2 elections in a row where you went with your heart instead of your head Dave. People just don’t understand math on either side. All the talk of Reps overperforming in the mail-in/early voting was way off. It hinged on there being 160 million voters which would have been 60 million on election day. The Rs overperfomed because a much higher percentage voted early vs. election day than predicted. Way too much anecdotal ‘evidence’ being used. Yes, the polls were way off and Trump nearly pulled it out, but he was never going to get 120% more votes than 2016 and the Democrats had months to harvest votes with mail-in ballots and then figure out how many they needed on election night. Obviously some fishy stuff when Trump underperforms the Senate races when he is the only reason many people voted (just look at 2018 vs the 2 presidential elections).

I expected him to lose, but last night it looked like he would pull it out, which makes this feel even worse. Still don’t understand how Georgia went from 85% Trump to 65% Biden in one swoop. They knew how many ballots were still out when it was at 85%.

Get ready for a national lockdown and mask mandate. Sigh.

The VBM fraud did what it was intended to do: dilute the results in Bidens favor. Add some good old fashioned demoncrat tricks like not opening polls on time, denying GOP observers in
the ballot counting process and a few other sundry illegal election day antics and you get the results we have.

When you have demoncrats controlling the polling and counting you get we have today.

Mao and Stalin would be very proud of the demoncrats.

Like I’ve said, over and over, “It ain’t over til the fat lady’s over”.
Trump is the toughest competitor any communist could face. Building skyscrapers in Manhattan isn’t for the faint of heart. Trump has had plenty of preparation for this eventuality and predicted it over and over again. So it ain’t over. The toughest guy on the planet still has the power and the Supreme Court will probably do the right thing.

NEVER FORGET–It is the “don’t get involved” attitude of the conservatives that has led up to this. Those rascally communist rascals have been slowly creeping up on us for DECADES. There’s been warning after warning which went unheeded. In Washington State, the International Workers of the World started in 1900! That was BEFORE the Russian Communist Revolution.

The MSM has been rotten to the corpse for DECADES. No one called them on their lies and cheating until Trump showed up. We let our RINO representatives get away with colossal lies and deception.

    It’s up to us.

Welcome to King County, Washington politics. The demoncratic communist party used the playbook that has kept Washington state in perpetual demoncratic tyranny for over 5 decades.

As long as the democrats own the large population centers in most of the major states this is what we’ll be getting from now on

We almost broke them, but Satan is strong here, and we are just beginning to see what he and his minions are going to do to us.

Short of a miraculous intervention, I would recommend prepping up if you haven’t already.
