Plenty of Good News for the GOP in This Election

It’s morning again in America; not the morning we necessarily had hoped for, but one filled with hope and promise for the future, as America’s mornings tend to be.

With all the angst prevailing over the presidential race still being up in the air, let’s focus on the good news out of this election for the GOP, because there was plenty to be found.

Let’s start with the U.S. Senate, which appears to be destined to remain in GOP hands:

– Mitch McConnell rolled to an easy win in Kentucky;

– Lindsey Graham overcame $130 million in Hollywood/New York money funding his Democrat opponent to roll to a landslide, 12-point re-election;

– John James appears poised to take the Michigan seat from Democrat Gary Peters;

– Tommy Tubberville has re-taken the Alabama seat from Democrat Doug Jones;

– Steve Daines rolled to an easy win in Montana over heavily-funded Democrat Steve Bullock;

– John Cornyn ran up an easy, 10-point victory over his goofy opponent in Texas;

– Not sure this is “good” news, but even Susan Collins appears to have won her re-election in Maine.

All in all, these victories and others will be enough to secure a GOP majority in the Senate for the next two years. If Sonny Perdue can avoid a runoff, that majority will be at least 51 seats, and if James can hang on and if Kelly Loeffler can win her runoff against Democrat Raphael Warnock, the majority will remain at 53 seats.

Thus, the GOP Senate majority has been vindicated for its decision to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court and will now serve as a firewall against the excesses of a Biden/Harris presidency should that end up coming to fruition. This outcome was vital for the safety of the Republic, so celebrate this, even if it does mean we have to listen Susan Collins for another 6 years.

Meanwhile, in Texas… – One thing I actually got right was the fact that Texas was never really “in play” as an array of fake polls commissioned by various media outlets and opportunist universities tried to pretend.

President Trump will end up winning Texas by 6%, while Senator Cornyn and Republican Texas Railroad Commission candidate Jim Wright trounced their well-funded Democrat opponents by double digits. The GOP also retained its majorities in both houses of the state legislature and will retain 2/3rds of the state’s seats in the U.S. house.

Texas remains a reliably red state, and will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

***UPDATE*** One more thing I forgot to mention about Texas: Wendy Davis and Beto O’Rourke got smacked down one more time by Lone Star State voters. Abortion Barbie was soundly defeated in her race for the state’s 21st congressional district, losing to incumbent Chip Roy by 7% of the vote.

Irish Bob wasn’t on the ballot, but he campaign heavily for both Davis and M.J. Hegar, the weird woman who attempted to challenge John Cornyn. O’Rourke was also instrumental in convincing the national Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee to establish a costly office operation in Austin, throwing millions of good money after bad.

This outright repudiation couldn’t happen to a nicer couple of people.

But what about Florida? – Florida just keeps getting redder, and that’s a great thing for America. The President won that state by about 400,000 votes thanks in large part to his making major inroads with the Cuban/Venezuelan immigrant community in Miami/Dade County. The state’s Republican Party needs to work hard to ensure those new Hispanic voters are paid attention to in the coming years, because if they feel ignored and taken for granted, that progress could be quickly lost.

GOP congressional candidates also ousted a pair of Democrat incumbents in southern Florida, including the execrable old communist hack Donna Shalala.

Ohio sets its redness in stone. – Trump won this state by 8 points, and much of that phenomenon can be attributed to the state’s new focus on oil and gas production from the prolific Marcellus and Utica Shale formations. As in Pennsylvania, Fracking politics had a big role to play here.

Some other congressional pickups. – Republicans will not flip the House, but San Fran Nan won’t be expanding her majority, either. GOP challengers managed to flip several seats, with several more still up in the air.

From a story at USA Today:

Democrats are expected to retain control of the House of Representatives but optimistic projections that they would be expanding their already robust margin are falling short.

Instead, Republicans have enjoyed some bragging rights, unseating freshmen incumbents in South Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma and South Carolina, while successfully defending what looked to be several vulnerable seats in Texas and elsewhere. And early Wednesday, the GOP claimed its biggest prize by knocking off 15-term Democratic Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota.

It’s a stark contrast to 2018, when Democrats picked up key seats — many in suburban areas — that helped flip the House from Republican control to a Democratic majority. Not all the news was bad, as Democrats were expected to pick up a handful of GOP seats, including two in North Carolina districts that were redistricted under court order.

[End]

The presidential contest will play itself out one way or the other, and if it goes the wrong way America will soon have its first woman president. But it may still go the right way, and there is nothing most of us can do about it one way or the other.

So, be of good cheer, folks, for all is not lost and there is much good news to celebrate today. Go live your lives to the fullest and keep your loved ones safe.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger.com is the only real conservative alternative to Drudge, and deserves to become everyone’s go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

    There are already some reasons to indulge in recriminations – at least in Virginia. The Virginia GOP is asleep, in bed with Mark RussiaRussiaRussia and Governor Mengele, and the main reasons Va GOP candidates won had NOTHING to do with the party, which is filled with loser-types who use loser-type Permanent Political Class advisors. There were a few bright spots, no thanks to the feckless VAGOP.

    Did they leave Gade out to dry? Yessir, they did. You hardly knew he was running. If there were stronger candidates, they were in hiding or soaking up the gin or Chardonnay in Country Clubs where the elites can still party without restriction.

    This is the main reason I want to see President Trump move many of the federal agencies, particularly those with a lot of Virginia-based employees, off to wherever the cows moo and the roosters crow – purgatory for elitists. We need to take Northern Virginia out of the equation, and we also need to jettison Portsmouth and other Leftist enclaves. Trump won most of the REAL Virginia.

    None of that will happen, of course, because the Elitists sleep together, dine together, swap spouses together and dismiss us hicks in the hinterlands and sniff with their noses up in the air as they walk by. We are nothing to them – nothing but disposable trash.

    Harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a Beltway denizen to enter the Kingdom of G0D.

    This also proves what a loser Q is – a boaster, nothing more. “Trust the Plan.”

    Q was routed months ago, about the time Temple of Set (a Satanic cult) founder Michael Aquin, PhD. is rumored to have bit the dust and met his devil-god. I suspect that is who Q was – Aquino.

    That being the case, it’s not surprising that this is closer-than-close. And that we now live in a tech/med/press dictatorship. Welcome to Communist China, persecutors of more Christians than anyone – so far. We’re next.

    Washington DC is going to be under water within a few years – not economically, physically: it is a home to the foulest of the foul, persecutors of the Brethren and traitors to our Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.

    My plans are to shut down my business anyway, because if President Trump prevails, they’ll have made him sign a bunch of compromises. He won’t have a choice.

    As of now, all of the new “votes” are for QuidPro. Intel services doing this. I’ve done them favors over the years (UBL, Erdogan’s plan to get us into a war with Russia, numerous other issues.) I will no longer deliver Messages to these evil ones – they are in the dark and will eventually stumble into an abyss.

    As far as I’m concerned, my feelings and plans: I’m not going to telegraph my intentions – nor should you.

    Arm up. Pray. Pray continually – and then pray some more. But do not cooperate with the evil ones under any circumstances (Bill Gates, evil tech, Facenbook, Satanic press, medicine.) Stay among friends and stay suspicious as was the Early Church.

    No one has taken Jesus off the Throne, where He sits at the right Hand of the Father. Always remember that. In the End, G0D wins. Do not take the RFID chip, the Mark of the Beast, even if you have to eat clover and dandelions (the latter is nutritious) in order to live.

    It was nice working and playing with you folks. So long. (I’ll check in over the next day or so if you have anything to say, but as before when I needed to vacate, there is a time for talk and a time for action: now is the latter.)

        I’ll be closing my business over the next 4 + months; I am going to stop participating in the System: the only real President I’ve ever voted for – one that wasn’t pre-selected by the Deep State – is Donald Trump. They picked Jeb and HRC, and were astonished that we were no longer the compliant little things they expected.

        Dubya wasn’t ever President; Regan was, but only barely; BJ Clinton was never President, as even he admits. Obeelzebub had so many squeeze-points (blackmail issues) he just did whatever they told him to do. He was an utter failure, but so were most of the rest, excepting Reagan.

        Trump was the first and last actual independent President in our lifetimes. They will never let another one like him come along, and they were sputtering with rage that he got by their schematics.

        I will never vote in this fake system ever again, because it doesn’t deserve the legitimacy of my participation, and I won’t be paying attention to the news – already scrubbed my news feeds. It’s all a fraud, phony. Even Q was a psyops. And now it’s a dictatorship.

        IF they let Trump be President for four more years, he’ll have to agree to their demands. Prophecy. If he refuses, he won’t be President, and this nation will understand how manipulated we’ve been for all of our lives.

        Godspeed, Brian.

        Brian, haven’t you figured it out? They don’t want Americans to have allies from Canada, Great Britain or elsewhere! There are billions of people around the world who want President Trump to win, and they hate it!

        So take it as an honor and a blessing that they’re sabotaging your posts. It means that you are effective and a great support to Americans – the vast majority of whom voted for Donald J. Trump.

        This election was never close: it was manipulated by cyber-ops programming, far more sophisticated than Soros’ SCYTL. As I’ve said before, Soros is not some off-the-reservation Commie: he’s an asset whose ass was being investigated in Ukraine at the same as Hunter Biden. It was because of HIM that they cut the investigation, not just QuidPro’s evil son – (who was and is yet another asset.) Burisma was one of the entities being investigated – and so was Soros’ group.

        That’s why you can’t post, my friend: you’re Canadian. They don’t want us to think we have friends; they want us to think Canada is Justin Truduhh the Corrupt. Unless you plan to quit thinking about events, keep posting here!

        I won’t be because I don’t intend to give legitimacy to those who consider themselves our masters, and who control our levers are all levels (especially including healthcare.)

There are many other sites like CD media, Sons of Liberty, CFP, etc that I can post to and show my support to our great neighbors to the south of us here in canukistan. Maybe a swap can be done… all the communist can have canukistan and conservatives can move to the US of A. I’d move 5 miles south and then guard the border from commies wanting back into the US.

            I’m retiring from it all.

            There will be a huge disaster (or “terrorism”) in coming years, and Bubblebrain Joe will be long gone (he already is, in fact) and Kamel-noseHarris will be the next Dubya, sitting in a schoolroom while she’s reading a primer on My Pet Duck instead of My Pet Goat. She has an IQ somewhere around 112, about the same as Bathhouse Barry, and Bushie’s is actually around 115. (Trump’s is around 130-138 by comparison.)

            G0D is not mocked, and DC will vanish from the face of the earth in a black, tarlike tsunami that will come upon them as they slumber. Word.

            I fully understand where you are coming from. Like Gregg stated the angst of this past year alone is wearing. Personally… I’m to crippled to bow down, back problems, to crippled to kneel, got knee problems, to stupid to acquiescence to the communists and to much redneck to go away let alone quietly.

            2 Samuel 23:11-12

            11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.

            One of my hero’s whom I’m going to meet some day. This man who would stand against an army to defend his Kings field of beans… Taking a stand… and I know brother you aren’t about to run away… probably go guerrilla… cya in the jungle

      President Trump will have to sign the surrender papers, then they’ll find the votes.

      I distinctly remember BJ Clinton saying the exact same thing – they “let” him act as President, but he never actually WAS President.

      Somehow, I think Trump is going to refuse, and America will be in flames. The veil of legitimacy is gone: we have not had a Republic in generations.

      Again, they may LET him be President, but there will be a cost. Like Appomattox. And he’ll have to do what BJ Clinton did in order to become (or play) President, and that is to do what they want him to do. Welcome back, endless wars! Welcome back, stealing our jobs!

      I have doubts about whether he’ll sign the surrender papers they put in front of him. If he doesn’t, they won’t find the “votes.”

    2 Chronicles 20
    5 Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, 6 and said: “O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? 7 Are You not our God, … 12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” …
    14 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel … 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

      That was G0D’s chosen.

      After Truman created the CIA, they immediately went rogue. Because he dropped the bomb, they took all power away from him and every single one of his successors. There has not been an election since then – it’s called a “selection.” JFK was given the green light when he agreed to do what the Deep State wanted – and when he went back on is word? (Vietnam, Bay of Pigs, CIA, Joint Chiefs) they killed him for it. He wanted to dismantle the CIA, an agency that the Haberdasher regretted ever creating from the OSS.

      In case you don’t know, there is a cabal of Satanists deep in the Pentagon, and they also run many of the spy operations. No James Bond stuff. They’re trained and paid to lie – (and who is the father of lies, after all?)

      President Trump was G0D’s man – the first in generations. But he has decisions to make: to sign the agreement, and remain President, or go the way of Bill Clinton and just pretend to be President? They could put up Chance Gardner (“Being There”) and make him President – and it’s funny how true that movie actually is. After all, BHO and Dubya weren’t exactly high-IQ.

      “I’m the decider.”
      “Corpse-men.” “ACME Insurance”

      But sound advice: keep praying, and don’t give up – on Him. But don’t be deceived, either: these are the devil’s people (how can you look at HRC and Obumbler and not agree?) These were Selected to be President, until Trump tripped his way into office – be Design.

      G0D is exposing the charade even as we write. Our government is a full-court fraud.

      How else could a man get millions of people to attend his rallies, and the other get a handful – and still “win?” It’s fixed. But if Trump wants it bad enough, he’ll have to sign the surrender papers. Yes, he’ll be President – as much as any of them. But he won’t be the President we first elected, just as Reagan changed profoundly after he was shot (which was more of a warning shot.)

    “Harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a Beltway denizen to enter the Kingdom of G0D.”

    Jimmy,

    I think you meant Easier for a camel…, but I get your drift.

    I also hear your frustration and disgust, and I share it completely. However, I will take a bit of a break from much of my commenting, but will continue to read Dave’s blog and when (I still believe he will fight and prevail without the conditions to “play” president) President Trump prevails, I’ll be right there rooting him on. To paraphrase Walking Eagle: he has gone too far to give up and no one said it would be easy…

    Again, the bottom line is over a hundred million people didn’t even bother to vote; that is the real problem.

    Rush is being a bit Pollyannaish today as was Dave talking of “good news” from the this election, and I understand that tactic, but right now we are all butt-hurt.

    First and foremost President Trump must fight and ultimately win and then he must get stellar people in the major roles in his cabinet and in the government. He must go all scorched earth and force his agenda for MAGA/KAG to win bigly.

    The post mortems I’m hearing that most piss me off is how people keep talking how the Democrats are so disappointed that it wasn’t a huge Blue Wave and how the polls “got it wrong” again and how will the polls ever get their reputation back.

    I don’t give a schiff about the polls and the survival of the pollsters and their companies. Nothing is going to happen to cost them or their media allies; no one is going to get fired, no one in their tribe is going to suffer in the least, and I don’t care one wit one way or the other.

    The only problem I see is the sheer amount of laziness and stupidity of the electorate.

    So, to all of Dave’s faithful I say this: Take a breath, take a break, follow the late Mac Davis admonition and “Stop and Smell the Roses”, and then reengage as appropriate. I’ll not quit for good unless our great President Trump decides to pack it in and, truth be told, at this point, I wouldn’t blame him if he did.

    PS: I’m hearing Trump is getting admonished from the typical RINO assholes to follow process and concede when enough votes are found under this corrupt voting system. Bullschiff! If he had followed their advice he wouldn’t even have won the GOP nomination four and a half yeas ago. He must purge these fair-weather fraudulent gutless people from the GOP once and for all.

    Isn’t it amazing how no Democrat is ever similarly advised or admonished to accept the process of the election outcome when they actually lose out of fear of damaging the Democratic brand?

      Romney won by votes cast, lost by votes counted. He was told to roll over, and that’s the kind of man he is. A wimp. He got a Senate seat by rolling over. it was his payoff. He also resents the fact that Trump is a fighter and he is a pussy.

      There are three possibilities here:

      1. Trump keeps fighting, and exposing the whole racket, but loses because of the fraud anyway.
      2. Trump signs on the dotted line and becomes a puppet, keeping the office in appearance
      3. Trump submits, and they rehabilitate his reputation (no one ever called him a racist until he ran for the Presidency.) He’ll be ushered out as a hero, and he’ll live the rest of his life out on a golf course, knowing that he was the first REAL President in 70 years. But he’ll have to keep it to himself, just like he didn’t release ALL of the JFK files.

      It’s all a sham. A hoax. After 9/11, you don’t think they can manufacture something as small as elections? G. Dubya Bush was a patsy, a dupe, a dope and a simpleton; Obama liked the smell of men in bathhouses. Hillary? The cruelest wretch since Jezebel – until Harris came along, and she’s on the same par.

      And you are right: the GOP wimps who want him to concede are paid by the same people who run this operation. They’re very easy – very easy – to shake up, to shake down or to roll over. (They even play “fetch” if they’re given the right bone!)

      First try… Gregg, I wouldn’t be so hard on the electorate just yet. Remember these communists have a LOT of computing power at their finger tips. read up a little on the ‘Hammer’, and know that this particular tool has been developed further than is admitted or discovered. IMO…

      Ask why has gina the spider been so quiet?? Perhaps she along with the communists brought in with brennon and company have been actively running an election steal op the whole last two years minimum. Software can intercept and switch a vote in any direction they want which is what I suspect has happened, along with the boxes of already filled out, strangely ALL democrap ticked off ballots now appearing.

      This will also expose Barr for who he is as well… What should happen now, IMO… are the Trump rallies should continue and get bigger, and Trump should enlist proven swamp plumbers to start investigations immediately, yesterday immediate. Otherwise if he can’t get control before mid Jan then it will be either Trumps ousted or he signs a compliance to swamp agreement like Jimmy suggested.

      Its a war… don’t put your guns down now…

    Glad you finally got to post a decent length comment/reply Brian.

    I wasn’t really talking about the 140 or so million who actually did vote, some of whom may have gotten their vote switched in key areas. I’m much more pissed off at the 120 plus million who year after year sit on their ass and watch the country sink lower and do nothing about it.

    I’m sick and tired of when we do win, (i.e. elect Republicans) and we still get screwed. As Jimmy said Trump was and is the real deal with real results! He deserved at least 100 million votes (out of 330 million people) this time and might wind up with 70 million. 100 million votes for Trump and a GOP congress would have overwhelmed the Left’s margin of fraud virtually everywhere. But no!, we are stuck with having to wade through all the corruption that resides within the bowels of a dozen or so worthless US Blue cities that ultimately rule/run our nation in order to hopefully get or see President lead our country for another four years.

    Someone here mentioned how he lost relationships with family and friends who vote blue. I’m the same way and will not deal with anyone who votes blue ever again. And I’ll have a real difficult time dealing with anyone in the future who doesn’t vote at all since a non vote or a libertarian or other third party vote is half a vote for the pervasive Democratic cancer.

      I’ve been switching up my IP and that seems to have helped some.

      I hear the frustration too and experienced it even in places you wouldn’t expect. There is ALWAYS a small core group that does the heavy lifting and then everyone else. I’ve seen this to many times where something crucial needs to be accomplished. You get all kinds of hands showing, pratter about them being there, count on it… Then when the crunch comes they’re no shows and only the faithful few once again carry the load.

      This is no different. We just don’t count on these people for anything even tho it makes our jobs that much harder. If by miracle they show up… we give God the glory and git’r done with thx. I also get the frustration of the corrupt politicals serving self over the electorate. Its more than frustrating investing in anything only to see it sabotaged or treated with apathy and disdain.

      In a war emotions have to be switched off otherwise the despair of loses big or small wear you down. We may not understand the seemingly lose but rest assured my Heavenly Father is still in very much control. We KNOW the communists ways but we still have some fighting to do. Step back from the line, take a rest but don’t set your gun down.

      There are fellas like yourself who are regular, that are far smarter than I and I certainly, without a doubt, need that perspective to confirm my thoughts or to give me pause for deeper thinking. So my friend do not let your heart be dismayed but look to the Creator, its He that gives peace within the storm.

      Its a war…

    So at 7:40 eastern tonight, I’m sitting here thinking about the state of things. The election is all but over, the only way Trump can win is through litigation, and half the country seems ok that the winning candidate is run by the extreme left, and used his position and family to enrich himself via foreign governments, maybe even at the expense of our nation. The Russia hoax, all the investigations, everything that’s been discussed here for the last 4 years, all of it will be gone. The corruption to follow will be massive, and largely invisible, swallowed up by the swamp. We have only the slim protection of the court appointments completed so far, and Trump’s SCOTUS appointments. The house seats gained offer little help, and if the senate stays red, it will be the slimmest shield against against whats to come.
