Discussion Post – 10.31.2020

The Antifa/BLM pestilence has now moved into Vancouver, WA in preparation for their election night burning and looting. With no law enforcement around, one enterprising bail bonds business took matters into its own hands:

Good for them.

Discuss away.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger.com is the only real conservative alternative to Drudge, and deserves to become everyone’s go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

      Stuartswede,

I agree for the most part with Clay Travis’ article and thanks for linking it.

However, and there is always a however in today’s politics, I have a problem with this statement from him:

“But Obama wasn’t a politician who focused on identity politics. His campaign was not laced with accusations of systemic inequality, and it didn’t embrace the idea that America was a corrupt and venal land filled with racist and evil people.”

‘The One’ most certainly was all of the above. He and his ilk invented and practiced “identity politics” to a fair-the-well; made it an artform.

How can one want to “fundamentally change” a country if one doesn’t harbor a fundamental hatred for said country?

His numerous apology tours only confirmed his anti-Americanism and we must never elect another fundamentally anti-American president.

The fact that Travis doesn’t admit it was a mistake to have voted for ‘the One’ twice severely diminishes the credibility and substance of his argument.

However, I am happy he saw the light to a degree in 2016 and at least didn’t vote for Walking Eagle and ‘the One’s’ third term and that now he is voting for President Trump shows that there is hope for some liberals to see the light and to #Walkaway.

Thank you Clay Travis for articulating your support for President Trump and for explaining your thoughts as to what ails America in today’s politicized climate so well.

        Gregg,
Yeh, I didn’t like that part either, but he may just influence some others who are on the fence who share his feelings. That was encouraging IMHO.

Insurance companies should start cutting their rates for the owners of businesses who protect their property from harm.

My auto insurance company has given me a monthly token reimbursement for my lack of driving in the era of CV-19. Why can’t property owners get a similar reimbursement for keeping down the vandalism claims?

    RIP Sean Connery (90).

I never knew what his politics were and that is how it should be. He is one of the true acting legends and will be missed by many.

I have to laugh at all the “videographers” with their cell phones, hoping they will be the one to get that gotcha shot. Such pathetic little things. As for getting a reduction on your insurance, they’d be more apt to raise it as they would see you standing out front, armed and ready to defend your property as a potential liability vis a vis getting sued for injury or death.

Never underestimate the ability of the insurance company to find a way to make a buck or skate out from under their obligation if given the chance. They’re all crooks.
