Scully and the Mooch Provide Best Reason Yet to Blow Up the Entire Debate Farce

The Biden campaign gets its goal: no more debates. – The Commission on Presidential Debates, obviously coordinating with the Biden camp, ensured the October 15 presidential debate will not come off yesterday by announcing – without first consulting the Trump campaign – that that debate would be held “virtually,” i.e., on Zoom, basically, with the candidates participating via video from remote locations.

The obvious goal there would be to allow the addled Biden to participate while wearing an ear piece or other communications device by which his aides could feed him answers, and has literally nothing to do with the President’s recent bout with COVID-19. As is the case with so many other aspects of our society today, the China Virus is the excuse, not the problem.

Also obviously, no one involved expected President Trump to agree to such a debate, which he made clear yesterday morning in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. The very fact that the Commission failed to consult the Trump campaign prior to the announced change is proof they were not acting in good faith, and were coordinating with Biden’s corrupt, elder-abusing handlers.

There is a 3rd debate scheduled for October 22, but you should expect the Commission/Biden camp to find a way to get out of that one as well. Their show horse has done one dog and pony show and survived without drooling on himself, and that’s all they’re going to be willing to risk.

Timing is everything in life… – You just cannot make this stuff up, folks. Steve Scully, the fake journalist/ex-Biden intern who is scheduled to be the “moderator” of the Oct. 15 debate, created quite a stir yesterday while all of this controversy was swirling around by issuing a cryptic tweet to former Trump Advisor-turned-Trump-enemy Anthony Scaramucci.

The full text of the tweet reads “@Scaramucci should I respond to trump”. Obviously, Scully thought he was sending the Mooch a private message, but screwed up and sent a public tweet instead.

Naturally, Trump supporters responded with amazement at Scully’s failed effort at skullduggery. From a report at Fox News:

Scully, whose October 15-scheduled town hall event had been crumbling after President Trump withdrew from the now-virtual debate, sparked confusion and fury among critics, many concluding that the moderator meant to send such a message to Trump’s foe privately.

“odd thing for the next debate moderator to tweet,” Politico reporter Alex Thompson reacted.

“This is not going to help the idea that Scully is *in any way* an objective and unbiased journalist and moderator,” NewsBusters managing Curtis Houck wrote.

“We need a different moderator at the v least. This is disqualifying,” Rebeccah Heinrichs, a senior fellow at the conservative Hudson Institute, tweeted.

“It appears that our moderator for the next debate thinks he’s dm’ing with Scaramucci but accidentally tweeted at him. I’m sure he’ll be a fair and unbiased moderator,” Daily Caller’s Greg Price said.

“What? Why is the next presidential debate moderator publicly asking one of Trump’s staunchest critics in Anthony Scaramucci if he should respond to the president? In a related story, Scully once interned for Sen. Joe Biden. Optics here are horrible & underscore mistrust is media,” The Hill media reporter Joe Concha tweeted.

So, here we have the designated “moderator” of a presidential debate reaching out to one of the most discredited public figures in the entire country for advice on how to conduct himself. Given that the Mooch has become a sworn enemy of the President since leaving the White House after his disastrous 9-day stint as some sort of “communications” advisor, the optics of this episode could not be worse for the credibility of the media and Commission on Presidential Debates.

As I wrote yesterday, the entire Commission and the process it governs needs to be blown up into a million pieces and scattered to the winds. This utterly corrupt bit of DC Swamp Kabuki Theater has been allowed to unfairly slant our presidential election process for far too long. If the Republican Party won’t put an end to the farce, then it’s time for thinking conservatives to find an alternative to the Republican Party.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. is the only real conservative alternative to Drudge, and deserves to become everyone’s go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

Scully was not hacked. He IS a hack!

I was watching Fox News when they reported the Debate Commission said that Scully was hacked. Chris Wallace reported it and was awfully quick to take Scully’s side in the controversy and reported it as if it were 100% true even though he had no corroborating information.

Wallace is another Hack. Now because of their partisanship, they are both washed up HACKS!

heh! Now Scully says his account was hacked. Seems like everybody’s account gets hacked when they say or do something stupid these days.

Jimmy MacAfee

And even if it were hacked, it doesn’t mean that he didn’t send it, only that it was intercepted – not forged or faked. Scully is just another Washington soy-boy who cried for his mommy when he soils his own britches.

Jimmy MacAfee

I’d prefer to ship him off to whatever remains of ISIS, for him to see up close and personal what the word “hacked” means to a barbarous 6th century cult.

Jimmy MacAfee

I know nothing about Scully other than what is being reported, but his resume alone makes him untenable for any debate.

His appearance, as much as one can go on that, is that of a wimpy, whimsical wuss without a trace of a spine – he has the spine of a squid, if pictures tell a story.

But his tweet? It would be an insult to squids worldwide to make such a comparison.

Scamadouchi, by the way, was promoted by Q anon, as an early type of Grenell – “Scarmucci model,” he/it used to say, as someone who was a temp and could out the traitors within. Wrong: he was the type of person he was designated to remove. And he did, effectually, remove himself.

A lot of people wonder why the President got stuck with so many losers and lost so many good people – K.T. McFarland being one of those good people, and General Flynn being removed when VP Pence believed the lies being said about him – (yep, it’s all on you, Pence: he could have defended himself while he was still in office, but you stripped him of his ability to go after those who set him up with a fake plot.)

There was an avalanche of people wanting to work for the President, (many of them being the kinds of people you don’t want around your kids, if you know what I mean.) Morning Joe, for one, as far as someone who begged for a job, and would have used his position to stab President Trump in the back. Another is the guy whose daughter is trying to get his attention, whose wife worked in the Whitehouse, the guy who looks like an overfed groundhog and who leads Never Trumpers against the President. Not worth mentioning his name; you know who he is. McMasters and another crap-bag general who failed to honor his oath to the Constitution, who undermined the President, John Kelly – well, the President trusts the military, and his trust has often been betrayed by Obumbler-lovers like Kelly and McMasters.

The line of people who wanted jobs was long, and the traitors elbowed their way in ahead of people, and elbowed people like K.T. McFarland out – and the FBI tried to entrap her the exact same way they set up General Flynn. Eff the FBI, under current leadership. Eff them with a spoon sideways.

Scully is just another ambitious pretender, a phony little weasel – no wonder he’s seeking advice from another weasel. What’s next? Is he gonna text John Podesta?

“If the Republican Party won’t put an end to the farce, then it’s time for thinking conservatives to find an alternative to the Republican Party.”

I agree with everything except with the above sentence Dave.

I don’t support or send money to the RNC, I support individual candidates.

There are just not enough strong single purpose single minded conservatives to split away from the GOP and have a hope to win anything significant as a third party. Doing this would create endless popular vote minority victories for Dem presidential wins like Wilson and BJ Clinton. That is why President Trump ran and won as a Republican and did not run as an independent and lose like Perot and default another election to another Clinton.

No, what needs to be done to the GOP is what candidate and then President Reagan admonished. We need a revitalized GOP, we need to flush out the loser crap that clogs up the brand that the GOP is supposed to represent; what it claims to represent, but almost always fails to represent. It is a real shame that RINOs almost always survive their primaries and thus perpetuate the ‘Washington Way’ of doing things, the SOP of the Swamp.

Ronna McDaniel (and the other recent chairmen of the GOP) may be nice people and say the right things, but I just can’t understand or get past the fact that the Republican Party chose the niece of the senate’s number one Never-Trumper and career RINO Mutt McRomney. I become even more suspect of McDaniel’s behind the scenes motives when almost every woman who gets married hyphenates their name like H. Rotten-Clinton; but she kept her family surname concealed. Again, she may be a good person, she may be an effective chairwoman for the RNC, but the optics and the obvious (to some including me) conflict and perhaps dual alliance are a problem. I see her as being no better or worse than the previous RNC chairmen, certainly not a dynamic leader like Trump or a mover and shaker like her DNC counterpart.

As I have repeatedly stated, it is my firm belief that there are a large number of elected and bureaucratic politicos pretending to be conservative ‘Republicans’ who really don’t mind losing as long as they keep their office or plum position. Newt Gingrich called them the “comfortable caucus” and worked tirelessly (helped tremendously by Reagan and his 1980 landslide win and BJ and Walking Eagle) to make the GOP relevant in congress. The GOP should also thank Jimmy Peanut, and ‘the One’ for making them relevant.

Except for Reagan and Trump, the GOP doesn’t win elections, the Democratic Party loses elections. This is the dynamic that needs to be changed and hopefully with four more years of President Trump such change will happen. The GOP and the country cannot survive by them being the Dem lite party. It needs to boldly contrast itself from the Democratic Party. And it needs real leadership to make that happen.

Trump is the master debater, he needs no more, just look at his support already vs the crypt keeper. At the very least look at the excel file halfway down showing crowd size at each “event”  it is spectacular.

Basement Joe can’t come out to play. Almost like vampirism, where he need so much sunscreen so he doesn’t explode into flames, he hides in his coward’s den.

It’s been rumored that they caught his transmission – instructions from his handlers – and was thrown off guard by President Trump’s constant interruptions. Can’t follow orders from the wire if he’s being distracted, can we, Basement?

This all reminds me of the early CIA, with the kitty-cam spy and other James Bond-like hijinx. Seems like the Agency is running the press (Brian Stelter) and Adam Shitt, too.

Mockingbird, your optics suck. You don’t own us.
