Sunday News Roundup: De-Fund the FBI, Frey gets Fried, and an Archbishop’s Message

Wait. This is our national A-team? – If you have watched any of the various FBI-themed TV shows in recent years, the image you see depicted is one of fit, drop-dead gorgeous and handsome young women and men with flowing locks, expensive tailored clothes, quick draws and no-nonsense personas who always get the bad guy in any situation. It is an image that the FBI itself has carefully nurtured over the decades – they’re brave, they’re heroic, they’re keen investigators who always get their man.

Revelations over the past several years of utter FBI ineptitude at stopping the acts of domestic terrorists they were fully aware of and were monitoring have destroyed the notion that the agency always gets its man. Revelations of the agency’s role in the still-growing Obamagate scandal shattered its image as an agency dedicated to anything resembling truth or justice. Over the past 24 hours, since photos of an entire squad of FBI agents taking a knee to Black Lives Matter protesters in Washington DC emerged, we now know beyond all doubt that the agency’s preferred visual image is completely false. What we see instead is this:

… a rag-tag group of ordinary, not particularly attractive boys and girls, many of whom have obviously spent too much time at the dessert station on the FBI buffet.

Like the parade of corrupt FBI directors we have been treated to throughout the agency’s entire history, any group of law enforcement officers who would bow before  a crowd that is almost certainly infiltrated with domestic terrorists is motivated not by any sense of justice and upholding the law, but rather by politics.

There is no question that reforms in the way our police departments and agencies work need to be implemented. Anyone who knows anything about the history of utterly corrupt police departments in many major cities – like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, New Orleans, Detroit and St. Louis – understands that corruption and racial abuse in those departments has run rampant for many decades.

We have seen many calls to “de-fund” the police in recent days, a crazy notion that would leave millions of Americans helpless at the hands of criminal gangs. That “de-fund” effort of course targets local police departments, mainly in big, Democrat-run cities. But there are far more good cops than bad cops, and those good cops are vital to the lives and livelihoods of law-abiding people who live in crime-ridden neighborhoods.

However, there is one law enforcement agency that literally cries out today to be completely de-funded and rebuilt from the ground up under new leadership. That is the agency led today by a worthless, feckless and corrupt bureaucrat named Christopher Wray, the one that took a knee to domestic terrorists this weekend.

You want to “de-fund the police”? Start at the top.

Speaking of worthless and feckless bureaucrats… – Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey engaged in his own genuflecting to domestic terrorists scene on Saturday, thinking he’d be applauded for it. It didn’t quite work out that way for him:

It’s like Cerci Lannister’s walk of shame on Game of Thrones, only he thankfully remained fully clothed.

This guy is like Justin Trudeau’s less-attractive, less-effective little brother.

But you still can’t go to church. – These scenes happened all over the country, proving once and for all that the entire concept of “social distancing” is a bad joke that has no meaning:

And yes, even in Vegas:

All of these scenes and many more demonstrate conclusively that Americans are simply over the whole “social distancing” nonsense. Democrat mayors and governors who just 12 days ago were intent on keeping their cities and states locked down through Election Day on November 3 are going to have a real hard time putting this genie back in their political bottles.

News you won’t see reported on CNN or MSNBC. – On this Sunday, I will leave you with this powerful message, a letter written to President Donald Trump by archbishop Carlo Vigano, who clearly sees the true nature of the motivations behind the global protests we are now seeing. The letter is very long and can be read in full at this link.

Here is a key excerpt for those of you who are in a hurry:

In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days – have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the Covid emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good – who are the majority – wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

[End]

That is all.

It should be clear by now: the official State (not just in the US) is opposed to Christ and Christianity, suppressing us and dividing us by race and economic circumstances, by divisions of every kind – some completely manufactured.

It should be clear by now, for those who believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and resurrected, that we are the Church, we are persecuted and coming into an increasingly persecuted time. This is not the time to make politicians our saviors, nor anyone else: there is only One who took the penalty, and One alone.

If you believe in institutions, you are not alone, but it is not Biblical. We are to submit to authorities – which we did in abundance in the lockdown – but now that it is patently obvious that they mean these laws to be obeyed by us, and not the violent lawless ones, it means that these laws have passed the point of submission, and that we will not submit to unholy laws, and we will not participate in real lawlessness.

Hold fast, brothers and sisters in Christ, and pray for those left in leadership who still have an un-seared conscience! Pray for unity among those who believe the Gospel, which is the death and resurrection! Pray for persecuted Christ-followers all across the world.

    Faith, Brothers and Sisters; Faith!

      On board with that… completely

  2. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

It is a simple fact that understanding the world requires the perspective of good and evil, and the fact that they are both active forces in our lives.

Reagan had the courage to say this. W did until he lost his nerve. And Trump has that courage in spades. If you are going to defeat the enemy you first need to identify and name the enemy.

    1. Boarwild - June 7, 2020

Phineas – see this? W just never fails to disappoint, does he? Now this buddy/buddy thing with HW Bush & Slick Willie makes sense.

      https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/george-w-bush-wont-support-reelection-of-trump

      1. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

Apparently it was a group decision by the entire Bush crowd (who all pretty much despise Trump anyways) since Colin Powell just announced he is supporting Biden.

I’m sad to say that I voted for W twice. There was a time in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 where he showed true leadership, but something happened to the man. Rather than leading, he was led, straight into the Iraq fiasco. And his behavior of bending a knee to the rabid Left, while attacking conservatives, including a sitting POTUS, is disgraceful.

        1. Boarwild - June 7, 2020

So did I. Lesser of two evils. Colin Powell was/is/always will be a Dem. He was an affirmative action hire. Both Bushes were extreme disappointments: Bush I led to Clinton (after – in effect – throwing the election). Bush II – Elmer Fudd – & all his bumbling led to BHO who led directly to Trump.

Just MHO but Trump is grinding the last four presidential admins into dust.

  3. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

I’ve rarely seen a more disgraceful sight than Frey’s walk of shame. If they had started to physically assault him, he wouldn’t have defended himself, much like that Guardian reporter Robert Fisk being beaten by Muslim thugs.

I think Minnesota is going red this year for the first time since 1972. Trump’s approval rating is now just slightly below 50% according to left-wing Gallup, and it will continue to rise as the economy rebounds and Americans continue to see these domestic terrorists in action.

    1. David Blackmon - June 7, 2020

It reminded me of Cerci Lannister’s walk of shame on game of thrones. Thankfully, he kept his clothes on.

  4. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

‘there are far more good cops than bad cops’–I think there is far more supporting evidence for the truth of that statement than the claim that the rank-and-file of the FBI are all straight arrows and it’s just a few bad apples at the top, as recited ad nauseam by Sir Tick Tock.

The reality is that eight years of Obama thoroughly corrupted, from top to bottom, nearly every federal agency and institution.

  5. Silas - June 7, 2020

So, fidelity, bravery, integrity? OK Mr. Hannity here are some of your 99%. Want to explain this little display of solidarity with a Marxist organization? I call BS.

Dave’s right. Shut the whole [email protected] thing down. They can’t convince me they are on our side any longer.

    1. Silas - June 7, 2020

I’d be willing to bet they’re all desk jockeys to boot. No wonder they kneeled. Too afraid they might actually have to defend themselves and can’t do it.

    2. brian - June 7, 2020

IMO, they should fire ALL the top dogs immediately. Then look outside the swamp for properly vetted and qualified people. Any name submitted for a position by a Dem is immediately rejected.

Once the leadership has been replaced then work down to the bottom. Make everyone reapply for positions that then has to go thru re-vetting and clearances. Any and ALL marxists found should never get a govt job… period. Its what should happen but will it ever happen… doubt it.

  6. Jimmy MacAfee - June 7, 2020

So the FBI agents who conducted the arrests of Manafort and Roger Stone – maybe those need to be outed and identified? And investigate who leaked to CNN, which were ‘mysteriously’ there at 6 am:

“At the crack of dawn, 29 FBI agents arrived at my home with 17 vehicles, with lights flashing, when they could have contacted my lawyer,” Stone explained after a court appearance Friday. “But the FBI agents were extraordinarily courteous.” OK, courteous. But who crafted the order, led the “raid” (17 vehicles?) and alerted CNN? Maybe those who participated should be interviewed, to see who and how this was executed.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/roger-stones-predawn-fbi-arrest-operation-sparks-controversy

“Gun-wielding FBI agents busted into Paul Manafort’s home as he was asleep in bed and even searched his wife for weapons, it was revealed Tuesday.

“The FBI raided Paul Manafort’s house
Agents took an unusually tough approach in executing a search warrant, dealing with potential financial crimes by President Trump’s former campaign chief, sources familiar with the July 25 raid, told CNN.

“The pre-dawn, guns-blazing tactics and weapons search of Kathleen Manafort left the Alexandria, Va. couple shaken, according to CNN’s report.”

This also needs to be brought into the light, with the officials involved made to answer for their crimes against the Constitution and the American People.

There is still no satisfactory answer to Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Bundy Ranch and Oklahoma City (yes, the FBI was complicit in that, too, according to many sources.) Then there was the firebombing in Philly….6 city blocks burned, if I remember right.

So many problems with the Bureau, and not just leadership, that it really cannot be saved. Anyone notice that when a federal agency goes rogue, they make a television program out of it? Mockingbird Inc. There was even one about the ATF. Surprisingly, they haven’t tried the Education Dept. or the IRS or the Secret Service. The movie “The Accountant” was a barely disguised Mockingbird exercise to make Treasury look exciting. Might as well make a movie or a series about a proctologist who specializes in hemorrhoids…oh, right, they already did that: “Madame Secretary,” which was to conflate HRC with the principle character.

Let’s make a movie about corrupt Leftist judges and corrupt Reps and Senators, and how they all end up in GITMO. I might watch that movie.

    1. brian - June 7, 2020

You forgot the Vegas shooting… disappeared off the radar real quick didn’t it…

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - June 7, 2020

CIA/FBI know a little bit about that op, which was primarily foreign in nature.

  7. Darryl Burt - June 7, 2020

My question to you Mr. Blackmon, do you support the Archbishop’s accusation that there is Masonic influence that can affect world events or support any leftist ideals?

    1. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

I don’t think the bishop is arguing for some shadowy Masonic conspiracy. There is nothing wrong with Masonic ideals in and of themselves–they were an important part of the Enlightenment, and many of the Founders were Masons. I’m sure they would be just as appalled at what is happening now.

Globalism is driven quite openly by a secular Marxist following, and is funded more surreptitiously by those acquire vast power and money by positioning themselves as elitist feudal overlords.

      1. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

‘by those who seek to acquire’

    2. Silas - June 7, 2020

I can’t answer for Dave, but the Masons as likely to effect things as I am to turn lead into gold. Surprised he didn’t throw in the Illuminati as well. I was flabbergasted when I read that. Read it twice more just to make sure I was seeing what I thought I saw.

  8. Gregg - June 7, 2020

Regarding Dubya and his dad, and their “compassionate conservatism” and their “kindler gentler” nonsense, they really do seem to have a lot of enemies inside and outside the DC Beltway, don’t they?

Reagan had daddy Bush forced upon him by the GOP establishment – he actually wanted Ford in 1980 – according to “Jeopardy”. Texan Perot despised HW and basically scuttled his chance at a second term after Bush betrayed the Reagan Revolution.

In 2000, Dubya made an enemy of McLame in the primary and lost five GOP senators (later a sixth – Jeffords – who defected to the Dems) when the senate went from a solid 55 – 45 to 50 – 50 and he barely won the FL recount debacle. Dubya did regain a narrow senate lead in 2002 due to the death of Dem warhorse Wellstone and the over the top funeral/rally, and the fact that he still had good-will for his ‘steady’ leadership post 9-11.

In 2004, Junior won a narrow reelection and managed to keep the congress, but became totally wussified and was vilified by his Iraq War. In 2006, he lost both houses of congress and basically allowed the housing bubble and economic downturn at the end of his second term. He, like his dad, was so mediocre, that the Dems were able to get ‘the One’ elected – and no one had a thinner resume than ‘the One’. And not only did ‘the One’ get elected, he got (D) supermajorities in the congress. So both Bushes were so piss-poor they managed to get the two most radical and most corrupt and corrupting presidents elected in our nation’s history. None of the Bushes ever had any coattails and if not for Reagan, probably would never have been president.

Now Dubya, who was always a “Never Trumper” continues his assault on possibly the best president ever for petty reasons. The Bush family is the ultimate RINO family; they have a lot of enemies in and outside of DC. And while the two kids were competent governors of TX and FL, they are PNG in the minds of most real Republicans and all conservatives.

Last week the community agitator came out from his lair and gave his two cents on the country’s problems, and as far as I can tell, no one heard or listened. So now Dubya won’t support Trump’s reelection, so what? One of the Bushes said he voted for Hillary, and the other was quiet, but made it clear he and his wife were anti-Trump. Go ahead George Jr, do like every other one of the anti-Trump people do and urinate on Trump and he will Dump all over you – if he even thinks you are worth the effort.

Please forgive the following lengthy vent, but this has been bothering me for years:

A personal note on Dubya as to why I will forever despise him: My ship, the aircraft carrier USS America CV-66 was denied a major scheduled overhaul and upgrade in the early 1990’s when peace broke out after the cold war ended. Normally carriers and most other warships of that era were designed to last thirty years. For cost reasons, a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) was funded so as to extend the life of aircraft carriers for another fifteen to twenty years.

Instead the America was decommissioned and mothballed (put in long term unmanned storage) in the mid 1990s. in the mid 2000s we had at least six mothballed aircraft carriers of the same basic design (class) mothballed. The navy wanted to use one of the unlikely to ever to be recommissioned carriers as a test bed for target practice and damage assessment to design even more survivable carriers in the future. The USS America was chosen to be the demonstration platform for destruction. There was probably a small cost factor which determined that CV-66 was the cheapest available platform. IMO we are talking probably talking less than a million dollars in the determination of which carrier would be scuttled. It was towed out of Philadelphia and sunk about a thousand miles east of Norfolk.

How does a president, who had no problem blowing up the deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars every year to no good purpose allow for the unceremonious sinking of a ship bearing the name of the Nation when there were so many other viable alternatives? And how does the same president NOT name a new aircraft carrier (the new USS America is an amphibious assault ship – a much lessor warship, was commissioned in 2014) America to replace CV-66? That will forever piss me off bigly about George Junior. Many USS America veterans feel the same way.

The Names of the aircraft carriers built since the America sinking:

USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) 2009 – Last of the Nimitz Class cost: 6.2 Billion
    USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) 2017 – First of the Ford Class cost: 12.8 Billion + 4.7 Billion R&D
USS John F. Kennedy (CVN-79) – Not yet commissioned Ford Class cost: 11.341 Billion
USS Enterprise (CVN-80) Building – Planned to be Commissioned in 2027
USS Doris Miller (CVN-81) Planned to be Commissioned in 2030

HW Bush was a former navy aviator in WWII and was the 41st president of the US – served only one term – got 38% of the popular vote in his loss to Clinton.

Ford served in the navy as a non aviator officer on a WWII aircraft carrier and was the 38th president of the US – completed Nixon’s term and was defeated in his first reelect bid by Carter.

Kennedy was a naval officer in WWII of PT-109 ‘fame’ was the 35th president of the US and was assassinated less than three years into his first term. This will be the second aircraft carrier named after JFK – the first one was CV-67 a close sister ship to the USS America

Enterprise is a famous name for US navy ships and will be the third aircraft named as such – CV-6 and CVN-65 were the other carriers named Enterprise.

Doris Miller was an American of African Descent who was an enlisted man, a steward on a battleship during the Pearl Harbor Attack. Later he was a crewman on an escort carrier the USS Liscome Bay (CVE-56), serving in a similar capacity and was killed when the ship was sunk by a submarine in 1943. He was not in an aviation specialty.

Traditionally aircraft carriers were named after famous battles, and famous ships, then became named for (successfully reelected) US presidents, statesman, one fleet admiral, one congressman, one senator – the congressional politicians were responsible for funding the “Two Ocean Navy” of WWII”, a number of failed or mediocre presidents, and one enlisted mess steward who was KIA during WWII.

This pasty white leftist had better be very careful what he wishes for:

    https://twitter.com/TomArnold/status/1269455538120568832

Come on and get down with the struggle, Tom. Let’s see how that works out for you.

(but of course he has no intention of actually leaving his wealthy Beverly Hills neighborhood)

    1. Silas - June 7, 2020

Yeah, ol Tom the wife beater. He’s so bad his shadow runs from him.

  10. phineas gage - June 7, 2020

Minneapolis, NYC and probably a number of other Democrat cities are in fact moving ahead to defund the police. They are unleashing hell on their citizens.

I would like to say I wish them well, but I don’t. I hope the smart ones get out in time.

More and more, Milwaukee seems like it could make 1968 Chicago look like a ‘peaceful protest’.

    1. Gregg - June 7, 2020

Yep, I feel for Milwaukee. It might have had a chance to escape relatively unscathed if Wisconsin had reelected their great governor, Scott Walker. But stupidity and cheating reigned in the 2018 election in most of the country and he was narrowly defeated.

I wouldn’t want to be within five hundred miles of Milwaukee – it could be an epicenter of violence with the Bernie Bros still pissed, Biden getting replaced by the DNC with another corrupticrat and then have the presidential nominee break a Biden promise and NOT name a female of color…

At this point, despite much analysis and speculation, I have absolutely no idea who they will nominate for either position.

  11. Cynthia - June 8, 2020

    Powerful.
