What is Marco Rubio Doing?

The Mid-Day Campaign Update

Marco Rubio, the Florida RINO Senator who unfortunately was picked by Mitch McConnell to become the acting Chairman of the corrupt Senate Intelligence Committee, went out of his way to contradict the public position of the President of the United States and U.S. Attorney General on Sunday.

Rubio took to his twitter feed to utter this pre-written message:

Note the emphasis on the word “BOTH.” It would sure be a good thing if the Senator from the Deep State would reveal to the nation exactly what intelligence briefing he has received that would indicate to him that any “right-wing” group has played any role in organizing and carrying-out these increasingly violent riots all over the country.

Certainly, neither President Donald Trump nor Attorney General William Barr has been privy to any such intelligence. Nor have any of the Democrat mayors and governors who spent most of the day Saturday pushing the “right wing” line, but then largely abandoned it on Sunday amid a flood of videos showing this is clearly the work of the very, very left wing Antifa and BLM groups of professional agitators funded by George Soros and front groups for the Democrat Party.

Here is Rubio’s statement in full:

The murder of George Floyd is both a tragedy and a travesty, and the anger we’ve seen built around it isn’t just justified, but is also more than just about Mr. Floyd’s murder. It is about the fact that a substantial percentage of the American family believes and feels that their issues receive less attention, and their lives are held with less value because of their race, because of the color of their skin.

This is an ongoing problem that has haunted us for far too long, and it must be addressed. And the anger you saw spill over and these protests across the country, well, that’s where it comes from as much as anything else. Unfortunately, however, while these protesters that are out there to talk about these issues and to point to Mr. Floyd’s murder, these protesters have been largely peaceful. They are not the ones looting and burning and hurting people. But something happens at these protests right around sundown. Suddenly, they start to turn violent, and you start to turn violent because some people show up, and they show up with backpacks, and in them they have batons and incendiary devices. We’ve heard reports of people showing up in trucks to begin to take things out, and that’s when the looting starts. That’s when the violence starts.

Who are these people? Because the real protesters on the ground will tell you they don’t know who they are. They’ve never seen them before. These people are violent domestic extremists and they range from Antifa groups who are radical to the left, to some other groups radical to the right. In fact, groups that I would argue don’t even belong on the political spectrum as we know it, and their goal — while they are ideologically opposed to each other and in fact have gotten into fights against each other at some of these protests — they share a common goal. They share some common objectives. They hate the police. They hate the government. That’s why they target police and government symbols and they want this country to fall apart. They want to trigger some of them openly call for a second civil war.

We must also pay attention to what these groups are doing, being cheered on, by the way, by foreign adversaries online.

Because they pose a threat to our security, but they are also unfairly defaming these protesters who have nothing to do with the violence and the looting that they are encouraging and carrying out, and they are taking away from an important discussion about social injustice which this nation must have once and for all.

It must be said that, if Rubio has actually seen any shred of intelligence indicating that “right-wing” agitators are indeed involved in any of these riots, then he has a solemn duty to share that intelligence with the Executive Branch of the federal government. And if such intelligence does actually exist – which seems doubtful since any Democrat who came into possession of such evidence would immediately leak it to the Washington Post and New York Times, among other corrupt media outlets – then he also has a solemn obligation to let the public know about it.

Otherwise, given the dearth oven even a shred of evidence of any such right-wing involvement in the public domain, Rubio simply looks like a creepy little, highly-compromised liar. Which may be an accurate description.

Rubio later had this exchange with Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe:

This appears to be an admission by Rubio that, instead of having any real intelligence that would implicate these “right-wing” groups, he is actually equating some random Facebook posts by some redneck buffoons to the actionable intelligence the DOJ and White House are relying on where Antifa is concerned. This is clownish behavior by Rubio, and is a de facto admission he has seen no such actual intelligence at all.

And this is the guy who is currently chairing your Senate Intel Committee. Astonishing.

Meanwhile, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, the only non-RINO Republican on the Senate Intel Committee, said in an interview on Fox News last night that the President should invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 to deploy military troops to put down the riots if they continue:

Cotton, during an interview with Fox News, said that “if necessary the president should use the Insurrection Act to deploy active-duty military forces to these cities to support our local law enforcement and ensure that this violence ends tonight, not one more night.”

“What the president can do is say that justice will be done in accordance with law for George Floyd and we will always respect the right of peaceful protests … but the rioting, the anarchy and the looting ends tonight. If local law enforcement is overwhelmed … lets see how these anarchists respond when the 101st Airborne is on the other side of the street,” Cotton added.

The Insurrection Act was last invoked 28 years ago in response to the 1992 LA riots that took place in the wake of the Rodney King incident. A spokesman for the Pentagon denied this move was currently being considered, but if this budding, Democrat-induced civil war continues for another few nights, anything is possible.

That is all.

If Rubio was in his reelection year he wouldn’t be rubbing himself raw trying to ride both sides of the fence. What a worthless RINO twit.

Aside from Rubio, the comment about putting the 101st Airborne on the scene is silly. You could put the 300 Spartans out there, but UNTIL the troops (whomever they are) are allowed to have weapons WITH ammunition ***and*** orders to shoot, they are otherwise just a few more bodies for Antifa and others to hit with bottles, molotovs and bricks.

Troops can’t arrest, and if they can’t shoot, they’re simply targets.

Roger that best to put Rubio out there to be an OJT Pop Up Target

Very true, a few score dead loudmouth snowflakes in a dozen or so cities will stop this real fast and prevent future riots.

Trump’s tweet was right on.

Warner was basically in charge of the Intel Committee from day one. Burr never even bothered to talk at their briefings. I had hoped for better things from Rubio but this sounds like Bill Kristol could have said it.

Sounds like you know something about all this! I’d be eager to hear more!

We are going on the 2nd day since Foam Boy`s statement….still waiting for the answer. “What far right groups….please name them”.

We got 2 do nothing flamers running Senate committees….what a joke.

Jimmy MacAfee

Maybe we can get Kayleigh McEnany to ask this question publicly.

Just in: death by asphyxiation:

“Attorneys for George Floyd’s family released the results of an independent autopsy report Monday showing that Floyd’s death was caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain.”

First degree murder.

phineas gage

Murder charge seems clear now, but there is just so much about this whole story that is very, very strange.

phineas gage

It would seem, but now we have competing autopsy reports. A real legal mess.

Jimmy MacAfee

“[Floyd’s] family has been notified by the owner of a club that Derek Chauvin was an off-duty police officer while George Floyd was a security guard. And so they had to overlap,” Crump said on CBS’ “Face The Nation.” “That is going to be an interesting aspect to this case and hopefully upgrading these charges to first-degree murder because we believe he knew who George Floyd was.”

I agree.

And his own brother is angry at the looting and burning and rioting, because it dishonors his brother, and his family knew the Lord:

“Don’t tear up your town, all of this is not necessary because if his own family and blood is not doing it, then why are you?” Terrence Floyd told the news organization. “If his own family and blood are trying to deal with it and be positive about it, and go another route to seek justice, then why are you out here tearing up your community? Because when you’re finished and turn around and want to go buy something, you done tore it up. So now you messed up your own living arrangements. So just relax. Justice will be served.”

Levin just said he thinks seond-degree, since it will be difficult to establish premeditation.

Who? Oh… you mean “Little Marco?”

Everything about Charlie Rubio is he is a weasel. Here is some of his history:

Resigned from the senate to run in the 2016 GOP RINO primary. Trump beat him in FL and he dropped out of the race and reengaged to run for the FL senate in 2016.

Won reelection for senator from FL.

He is just like the wacko former one term governor 2007-2011 of FL. Charlie Crist who was a RINO, decided not to run for reelection as gov to seek the senate from retiring GOP Sen. Martinez. He lost the primary to Rubio and then ran as an “Independent” against Rubio to split the GOP vote. Rubio won 49% – 30% with Dem Meeks getting 20%. (That 2010 election was the TEA Party referendum on Obama’s first two years – a Dem getting only 20% of the vote.)

Then Crist became a Dem and ENDORSED ‘the One’ in 2012. In 2014 , Crist ran for gov. and lost to Rick Scott by 1%. In 2016 Crist then ran for congress FL 13 and beat the GOP incumbent 52-48%. In short, he is a political whore.

Back to Rubio, what do you want to bet that if the senate becomes tied 50-50 this year and Trump wins, he becomes a Democrat just like what Jim Jeffords RINO (VT) did to Bush in 2001 to give the Dems control. Or if Trump loses and the senate is 51-49 GOP he switches parties to make it 50-50 and gives Schumer control.

“Little Marco Rubio” (Crist clone) is very dangerous in that he is a power player and also a political whore, judging by his recent comments (Who is buying him off?). He needs to be primaried in 2022 and defeated resoundingly when he pulls a Crist and tries to muck up the race to cost the GOP the senate in 2022 in the same manner as described above.

I didn’t think it was possible, but this guy has the capability to be worse than ACE McLame. I bet if McLame was still alive he would have joined fellow political whore Mutt McRomney and voted to have convicted Trump. FL needs to end his career in 2022 and Trump should work very hard to campaign for his primary opponent like he is doing to Sessions this year.

phineas gage

I agree, he is very likely the new McCain. The false moral equivalency and grandstanding is right out of the McCain playbook.

Defeating him in Florida will be difficult given the Cuban vote.

Probably right, so we have to make sure to vote in enough real Republican Senators to make any flip by Rubio irrelevant.

The two things McLame had going for him is he had a powerful machine in AZ – a much smaller and therefore more winnable state – and was portrayed by many as a war “hero”.

Charlie Rubio certainly has his support base, but I don’t think it is a proportionally as strong as McLame’s was – Trump, after all beat him pretty soundly in the 2016 primary.

DeSantis is also up in 2022…, or if Rubio decides to screw the GOP as described above it should be his political death knell; FL is not VT and not too many pols do well when they try to reinvent themselves by switching parties. There are of course exceptions, but in this case “Little Marco” would be seen as a turncoat and could well become the political equivalent of Me-again Kelly in the ‘news’ business.

He looks like Ewik Fartswell… brothers?? Same positions…

And to clarify I meant ‘Butts Up’ and not the drinking term, sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

Jimmy MacAfee

I guess Mark Warner has a new butt-buddy to play with. Guessing Marco Rubeyouknow is playing “bottoms.” Just sayin.’

You mean ‘bottoms up’ dont you??

Jimmy MacAfee

Bottoms is a homosexual slang term for “catcher,” instead of “pitcher.” In his case, “shortstop” is probably about right.
