Richard Burr’s Betrayal and Stupidity Comes Back to Haunt Him

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II

As Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee over the past three years, North Carolina RINO Senator Richard Burr coordinated efforts with the ranking minority member, Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, to run interference for the coup cabal’s efforts within the DOJ and FBI to take down the duly-elected President, Donald Trump. Today, he might be regretting his seditious actions.

Last night, Burr was repaid for his troubles by the FBI with a raid on his home in a search for evidence related to allegations that he traded a huge amount of stocks in February based on insider information about the extent of the Wuhan Virus problem in the U.S. Burr was also forced to turn over his telephone in the process of the FBI raid.

From a report in today’s Daily Caller:

The FBI seized Republican North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr’s cell phone Wednesday night after serving a search warrant as part of an investigation into whether the Republican made illegal stock trades based on insider information about the coronavirus pandemic, a law enforcement official told The Los Angeles Times.

The Times reported that FBI agents served the warrant on Burr at his home in the Washington, D.C. area. Burr turned over his phone to investigators, according to the newspaper.

At the time Burr’s stock trades became public news, he gave the lame excuse that he made the trades himself based on having watched a show on CNBC. At the same time, trades made by Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Sen. from China Dianne Feinstein also became public, but those two senators had had the foresight to place their stockholdings in a blind trust, and thus had third party brokers handling their stock transactions.

So, Burr is being singled out here, but for once there doesn’t seem to be any partisan motivation behind it. He’s just not very bright.

Other than what little support he might receive from his many fellow RINOs in the Senate, Burr will find himself a man alone in this fight. Given that RINOs are as a class the most cowardly bunch of hacks in Washington, he probably won’t receive any support from his “friends,” either.

One thing is certain: Few if any supporters of President Trump will waste even a minute of time worrying about his well-being. Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, a stauch Trump supporter, made this clear in an interview with Tucker Carlson, during which he said this:

“Richard Burr is a disgrace. He should be removed as the intelligence chairman immediately as a result of this conduct and as Republicans in the Trump era, we have an obligation to say we do not want corrupt acts to be associated with our tribe,” Gaetz insisted.

“And Republicans need to start stepping up and speaking out because what Richard Burr did in the Senate stock sell-off is not something that we want our brand associated with.”

That is all.

Cromwell’s speech to the rump parliament could be directed to our current Senate GOP:

“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice.

Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government.

Ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess?

Ye have no more religion than my horse. Gold is your God. Which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the Lord’s temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices?

Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance.

Your country therefore calls upon me to cleanse this Augean stable, by putting a final period to your iniquitous proceedings in this House; and which by God’s help, and the strength he has given me, I am now come to do.

I command ye therefore, upon the peril of your lives, to depart immediately out of this place.

Go, get you out! Make haste! Ye venal slaves be gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

sundance says that Burr has only ‘temporarily suspended’ his chairmanship, whatever that means. I guess he has not yet gone into that good swamp, or he’s raging against the dying of the swamp light, or something.

Trump announced that hes readying the military to distribute the upcoming ‘vaccine’.

This to me would be somewhat disconcerting on many levels. IMO… red flags should be waving.

Jimmy MacAfee

I would consider taking a CCPV vaccine under these circumstances:

1. total opening of all of the country
2. It’s manufactured by either the Israelis or a company that has no ties to China
3. China doesn’t get to use it
4. It’s not mandatory
5. This is one-time
6. They can’t force flu vaccine on anyone, anytime, ever.

I would consider taking one just to get back to work, even though I hate vaccines for quickly mutating viruses. I doubt this will solve all the problems, but it would give us an excuse to end the tyranny.

Never a good reason to compromise. It would be far better to just reject the conditions and assert your God given freedoms without compromise.

I’ve never been big on vaccines either. Never had any except the polio when I was a kid and tetanus shots when injured. Researching the vaccines and what is in them, noting the infection rates regardless of immunizations etc, we allowed our kids to be immunized once, before we did the research.

When they reached high school we required them to do their own research and make the decision on whether they wanted it or not. Their friends were sick with measles, mostly chicken pox without our kids getting sick. A cold was about the worst of it.

So I too don’t buy into the vaccine push either.. Healthy diet, ie no processed foods, outdoors and good hygiene practices… all the body needs. So I too would never compromise my freedom to conditions of take the vaccine to be released. I’d say nope to the vaccine and nope to being locked up… Now what???

Yes it would be VERY disconcerting; could guarantee a loss of his base and the election to whmoever…

Look at the other stock sellers: did they sell their pharmaceutical stocks? Bet they didn’t. And all Senators and Representatives should reveal their portfolios: did they purchase stocks around the time this all began?

Seems like all of them – not just these – have been funded by Pig Pharma, through campaign contributions etc. IPOs and the like, stock purchases and so forth.

Then list those with money/interests in China, and look at what they own, how they obtained those interests. The whole House (and Senate) would come down.

phineas gage

And if Burr resigns from the Senate altogether, which he might, then according to this article the Democrat Governor of North Carolina will have to pick a Republican replacement:

And the list of choices is provided by the state GOP. That could have a very favorable outcome in terms of Senate representation from North Carolina.

If that is the case, it guarantees the worst possible ‘Republican’ will be appointed which could still be an improvement.

However, the NC gov, being a Democrat, could still thumb his nose and say screw you, I’m appointing whoever I want; just try to stop me – it’s who they are and what they do.

Wouldn’t this force a special election this year anyway as Burr’s term is not up until 2022?

The downside of this is it means another GOP seat to defend in a tough senate ratio this year as many more GOP senators are up this year.

Jimmy MacAfee

Let’s pray for that, his complete resignation, and for Burr to be swept out to sea with the rest of the mountain of corruption by the LORD. We can decide what to do with the mountain of trash in the middle of the ocean once it gets there.

Since Gregg has already made the suggestion, I second his motion.

phineas gage

Some people are saying McConnell will choose the new chair. In that case it will be a swamp creature, maybe Rubio but I’m guessing Cornyn.

Jimmy MacAfee

They should disband the mis-named “Intelligence” committee entirely, and start over under a new name.

phineas gage

At least get rid of the laughable term ‘select’

phineas gage

Burr just resigned. Does this mean the ranking Republican on SSCI takes over as chair, and who is that? Tom Cotton would be best but I know it isn’t him.

Or does Warner take over? That would be even worse.

Jimmy MacAfee

Praise the LORD!

Warner is totally compromised by the unmasking, and the evidence/testimonies that had been hidden. I hear RICO is about to fall on a lot of people, including the Mueller criminal conspirators against the President.

What is needed is an investigation that ties these to the press, because a case for RICO could involve them.

Jimmy MacAfee

I pray that all of the conspirators to remove President Trump, all the corrupt officials who have betrayed Americans at all levels, such as Senator Burr and Warner, and all of those others who conspired with Communists and other evildoers will be like a mountain moved into the sea, however the LORD will make that happen:.

Matthew 17:19-21

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not drive it out?” 20And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. 21[But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”]

Pray this, because if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we will pray that the mountains of corruption will be moved to the deepest seas, and they will be moved there.
I pray this in Jesus/Yeshua’s Holy Name, amen

Please offer this a prayer and an amen

I do pray about this daily, not just for the US but the whole world.

That is why without knowing about the biblical quotes, I recommend (after tribunals at GITMO) FS at the WM in public, then weighted and dropped over the AO a thousand plus miles east of DC.

Jimmy MacAfee

PIG Pharma loved people like Burr and most of the Congresscritters, and especially Beelzebama. Follow the money. They all took money from PIG Pharma. I doubt Burr sold his pharmaceutical stocks.

Jimmy MacAfee

Tangential, but…

Flu vaccine may have made people more vulnerable to COVID 19. They’re calling it “virus interference.” I have posted about this before, but this is from a DOD study done before the current outbreak.

“And here’s the kicker. “Vaccine derived virus interference was significantly associated with coronavirus and human metapneumovirus. However, significant protection with vaccination was associated not only with most influenza viruses, but also parainfluenza, RSV, and non-influenza virus co-infections”‘

The immune system is like the compound eye of an insect; the system is compromised when it is forced to look for a bogey that doesn’t exist (or exists only in the protein surface used in the vaccine.)

Now, considering Pig Pharma’s betrayals of Americans, and the medical industry as it tries to keep people from getting hydroxychloroquine, the (potential) crimes by the Senator are tiny in comparison. Keep looking at him, but look at what PIG Pharma already knew, and this DOD study illustrated.

The Chinese knew this; they counted on more compliance with flu vaccines. (I didn’t take one, nor will I – ever!) Burr was lining his own pockets – something the President finally has addressed about people manipulating the markets.

But the corruption of our healthcare system is worse than any of you can imagine.

If you are a political you should NOT be allowed to ‘invest’ in any markets, period. Nor should you be allowed to own shares in companies. Your ‘pay’ should be enough as you are there as a public servant and not a career pad-my-pocket political.

The insider knowledge these parasites use to amass wealth is supposed to be illegal, at best the ‘ethics’ council should contain zero politicals and have the authority to recommend charges of corruption, etc. to remove those ticks. imo

jack johnson

I`m sure the powers to be will find no “intent” to use insider information. “Intent” seems to be the new bailout for the elitist’s meanwhile we peons are never afforded the same treatment.

I think the powers that be will hammer this guy if they get a chance; remember he is a republican and we are dealing with two sets to rules here. One for elites (Democrats) and another for Republicans and the rest of us deplorables.

I’m happy with Burr maybe getting it shoved up his *** and broken off (if actually guilty), but I want the same for the Dems!!!

Even Pelosi should be investigated, she bought a ton of Amazon stock

phineas gage

I could never understand why NC kept reelecting Burr–in some ways a Dem might have been preferable for one cycle. Same with Graham in SC.

At least he’s retiring, but anyone that thinks he will incur any serious penalty for his egregious actions, at least in this life, is dreaming.

James Blyth

I never liked Burr, but as a non-Democrat I had to hold my nose and vote for him. I wish the Republican Party would get it together and stop putting up stiffs like this guy.

Jimmy MacAfee

I’m sure Burr will be screaming to his lord and master, Beelzebama. They all serve him, apparently.

phineas gage

One O/T bit of good news–Mike Garcia has in fact won the California congressional seat.

As the saying goes, ‘if it’s not close, they can’t cheat’. I’m sure they tried, though.

So tired of these ‘public servants’ coming into office worth thousands and leave (eventually) being worth millions…, by ‘earning’ a couple of hundred thousand dollars a year; must be very sharp people – not.

And on the flip side of the coin, why would millionaires or billionaires (Bloomberg) spend millions of their own money to get a job that pays a couple of hundred thousand dollars?

Some, like President Trump are truly altruistic and want to engage on behalf of America, but others, um, apparently not so much… Wealthy people, trying to buy power need to be vetted very strongly as to their real motives. Just sayin’

Oh come on!!! How could you possibly think that these people who save their money, invest wisely and clip coupons could be anything but honest. These overly honest ‘servants’ are just very good money managers and you should be thankful they serve. You can trust they run their districts with t he same attention to fiscal responsibilities as they do their own bank accounts and with unimpeachable integrity. /s off

and happy morn’n

We need a law stating that if you are worth $1 Million or more, you get NO pay as a PUBLIC SERVANT. President Trump is DONATING his pay to charities.

It could be $2 Million, I do not care.

I’ve been saying this for yrs , if I ever win a large lottery i am going to run for congress and quadruple my money and then retire on the taxpayers like these a-holes. Until America wakes up this will continue till the end of times.

We have the same problem here canukistan. These parasites differ regardless of country. Here the parasites, having served two terms are allowed to ‘retire’ and take their pension immediately after retiring.

ONLY in politics can a person claim their retirement immediately after ‘retiring;and receive it for the rest of their lives. Courtesy of the generously fleeced sheep.

I’m a little iffy on that David, the key is VOTER EDUCATION and the eliminating of voter fraud. Blocking a ‘millionaire’ from running without pay won’t stop the potential for the ensuing corruption; they’ll just pass laws or set policy to their benefit through one loophole or another. Biden’s son is a classic example.

Voter education, real prosecution and punishment, and a constitutional amendment of term limits including judges are the only way to solve, or at least reduce, the opportunity for the rank corruption that is virtually all of Washington, District of Corruption. Civil service protections of all our unelected ‘public servants’ must also be reformed including teacher tenure.

Did I mention that we need a smarter electorate?

phineas gage

The Founders would be appalled. They never intended congressional seats to be permanent lucrative sinecures, but rather a temporary service to the nation.

The only solution to all of this is a term limits constitutional amendment, and that will only happen with an overwhelming grassroots movement. That does not seem likely, but these days who can say?

phineas gage

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the inexecrable Burr, but why do we never get the full Roger Stone midnight raid treatment for any Democrat Deep Stater?

The question is rhetorical; know why, but it is intolerable. We cannot exist much longer as a nation with two separate set of rules and two separate standards of justice .
