Why Bill de Blasio is a National Menace

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Man, nobody could’ve seen this one coming. – Actually, anyone who didn’t see this one coming should be as embarrassed as Marxist New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is this morning. On April 18, the Campaign Update discussed the nifty new snitch line de Blasio had set up for his loyal comrades there in the Five Burroughs, which allowed people to text a photo of any dangerous non-compliant subversives who stood within 6 feed of a head of cabbage to “enforcement” personnel.

Well, anyone who has spent any time at all in New York City instantly understood how that city’s residents would likely respond to de Blasio’s Stalinist setup. From a piece at the New York Post:

Mayor Bill de Blasio’s critics let him know how they really felt about him ordering New Yorkers to snitch on each other for violating social-distancing rules — by flooding his new tip line with crank complaints including “dick pics” and people flipping the bird, The Post has learned.

Photos of extended middle fingers, the mayor dropping the Staten Island groundhog and news coverage of him going to the gym have all been texted to a special tip line that de Blasio announced Saturday, according to screenshots posted on Twitter.

One user sent the message “We will fight this tyrannical overreach!” to the service and got an automated message that in part said, “Hello, and thank you for texting NYC311.”

“F–k you!” replied @MorganLSchmidt1, along with a meme showing Adolf Hitler and the words “TO THOSE TURNING IN YOUR NEIGHBORS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES — YOU DID THE REICH THING.”

“Start flooding their reporting text numbers with this pics!” the tweet added.

What’s most amazing is that de Blasio himself has lived his entire life in the city, and apparently had no clue that this would be the result. The Post reports that the initial response was so overwhelming that “enforcement” officials had to temporarily shut down the line and initiate a new pre-vetting process before the messages are relayed to “enforcement” precincts.

This clown wanted to be president? Really??? – Further demonstrating exactly how little this gigantic Marxist moron understands about the teeming masses that have surrounded him throughout his entire life, de Blasio on Monday expressed shock at the news that many of the 1,500 prisoners he recently released by decree from New York City jails have gone on to … wait for it … COMMIT MORE CRIMES! Because, after all, they are criminals!

The Post, which has a field day with this raging nitwit Mayor pretty much every day of the week, again reports that at least 50 of these convicts have gone on to commit additional crimes in the days since their release, and many of them have simply been released back into society yet again so they can go commit more crimes. I swear I do not make this stuff up:

It is “unconscionable” that Rikers Island inmates who were released due to coronavirus concerns are committing new crimes, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday.

“I think it’s unconscionable just on a human level that folks were shown mercy and this is what some of them have done,” the mayor said during his morning briefing Monday, which came on the heels of a Post report outlining the issue.

De Blasio said the number of re-offenders remains relatively small and that the city was “buckling down” on monitoring and supervising released prisoners.

“We do see some recidivism. I have not seen a huge amount, but any amount is obviously troubling,” he said.

“We’re going to just keep buckling down on it, making sure there’s close monitoring and supervision to the maximum step possible. And the NYPD is going to keep doing what they’re doing.”

Let’s all also take this moment to remember that, as late as March 13 – 6 full weeks after the President had banned all travel into the U.S. from China, and weeks after he had expanded that order to include other countries and begun taking other mitigation measures to fight this virus – this monstrous jackass was urging the people of his city to just go about living their normal lives. To this day, he still has not shut down the city’s subways, which are just petri dishes for spreading this virus, or the city’s buses.

Is it any wonder, then, that New York City has been the literal epicenter of this viral plague in the U.S.?

And by the way, let’s not let New York Governor Andrew Cuomo off the hook. Cuomo has been slathered with praise by a lapdog press for his performance during this crisis, but he is also massively complicit, since he could have at any time stepped in to overrule de Blasio’s many acts of rank stupidity. But the truth is that, while he does conduct a good press conference, Cuomo is as rotten and clueless as de Blasio.

One columnist – I’ve lost the link now and forgotten who it was [It was Dennis Prager at PJMedia] – asked a fantastic question the other day: If this viral plague was centered in the states of, say, Montana and Wyoming rather than in the corrupt news media centers of New York and New Jersey, would we be responding to it in the way we have been?

Think about it: The vast majority of the talking heads you see on your TV screens faking the “news” every day live in and around New York City. Many of them commute to work from their homes in New Jersey. Don’t you think their coverage of this virus, and their early efforts to foment a national panic over it were colored by the fact that the void of competent leadership had helped make their home states the place where over half of America’s cases had sprung up?

By the same token, can anyone truly believe that Cuomo and de Blasio would have shut New York City down if this outbreak had been centered in, say, Alabama and Mississippi? Or any other two adjacent states you can think of? Of course they wouldn’t, and they shouldn’t. More to the point, no one in the corrupt news media would have been trying to panic them into doing so.

So, when you see de Blasio acting the buffoon on national television every day, realize he is not just some harmless circus clown. He is in fact a national menace whose utter inability to lead in a crisis has exacerbated this situation for all of us.

That is all.

Oh, how the great cities have fallen. Detroit, SF, LA, Seattle Portland, Baltimore, New Orleans, NYC, all have a common denominator and you know what it is I am sure.

All the profligate spending is going to do is juice inflation through the roof:

The best thing the government can do is get out of the way.

Its been repeated ad nauseam that its never been about safety. Its a dream come true when these communists realized it could be turned into a weapon against Trump and freedoms.

Its always been a political weapon to gain control over the unwashed masses, there simply isn’t anyway else to take this. The math was shown to not only disprove the pandemic but to utterly embarrass those promoting it… IF they could be embarrassed that is.

These communists will use ANY excuse, real or imagined, to wrest control and freedoms from the subjects. Just as lil potato here is now ‘considering’ a ban on all ‘assault style’ rifles because of one sick slimeball back east who disguised himself as a police officer and went on a killing spree. You can bet this will be spun to be a ‘conservative’ supporter. Worst is there won’t be much of an outcry from our official ‘opposition’ when shiny pony pushes for the ban.

phineas gage

I figured he might try this as soon as the Nova Scotia shooting happened. And with people distracted by the pandemic, he might succeed.

phineas gage

Of course this is where it is all heading:

California is further along the curve to the NHS outcome.

Off topic, but..

So the Dems are all up in the air screaming bloody murder because of the President’s immigration order, and they’re for allowing people from other nations to come here and experience freedom and jobs, while they lock us in our homes, kick us out of our jobs and keep us imprisoned. Sounds like a campaign ad. Mr. President?

phineas gage

Remember, you as an American citizen should be locked down in your home deprived of all liberties, while immigrants–illegal or otherwise–should be free to come and go as they please, taking jobs and spreading disease.

Surprise… Surprise!!! NYC has 10 times more people, standing shoulder to shoulder on their subway system, that spread the virus like wildfire… and the NYC Mayor and NY Governor did squat to shut down this transportation system!!! President Trump had enough smarts… to SHUT DOWN travel early in the U.S from Asia!! NYC and the West coast continued excepting plains from China and Asia to also spread the virus even faster!  And the EU countries are connected at the hip with China… and was forced by China to keep excepting their plains long after the WHO knew the virus was coming from China!!

Well stated. And nice gravatar…..

The nature of the new “crimes” committed is not explained. Did they commit violent crimes or just violate social distancing rules? Releasing an unemployed, hard to employ, broke felon into a tough job market is asking for trouble. People will turn to crime to survive unless other help is available.

phineas gage

Most hardened criminals will return to it immediately no matter the circumstances.

And those are the sort of people being released from Riker’s.

Jimmy MacAfee

Which begs the question: do they have a rotating door for “distancing criminals” and felons, where one (the felon) is released and the other (the “distancing criminal”) is jailed? Or will these newly minted criminals just get a ticket, (and just use the ticket paper to roll a joint? Whadda they gonna do? Jail ’em?)

phineas gage

Well, seeing as how DeBlasio has previously passed a law to eliminate bail requirement for criminals, and has given released prisoners free gift cards and baseball tickets, I think it is pretty clear where he is coming from.

Someone should whisper into DaBlah’s ear that it would be super popular to hold a ‘special; Hold My Beer event. Might even make him presidential.

Of course conservatives with more than two functioning brain cells would immediately see the Darwin Award competition for what it is and have their popcorn ready. Dems on the other hand would be all in… they’d be guaranteed participation awards too… make it attractive.

Jimmy MacAfee

Real estate prices in NYC will soon tumble. Wherefore art thou real estate taxes, DeBlowsio? Can’st thou listen to these words: “suck it?” You’ll have to retire to a different state, Wilhelm.

Is there a Detroit in the future of that great city?

phineas gage

You could well be right. It may collapse entirely. Hard to envision a Detroit-level apocalypse, though, since that city was monolithically based on the auto industry.

Geography may have been the initial reason for their response, but the media quickly saw the political opportunity in this, not to mention the gratifying possibilities for leftist state control.

These tin-pot mini-fascists think they are going to keep NYC locked down through the summer. It’s going to explode, perhaps literally. If I were there I would get out now by any means possible.

DeBlasio is a pure Marxist of the worst sort, and Cuomo is playing political games to redirect blame and to garner federal money to fill the massive hole in his state budget created by profligate out-of-control spending.

I’m 60 years old. NYC has had only two decent mayors in my lifetime; NJ two mediocre governors in my lifetime, America two great presidents in my lifetime. The rest have been anywhere from terrible to horrific.

There is no way a free country that depends upon the wisdom of the electorate can survive and prosper when it keeps insisting on electing duds. And most of this was happening when we still had an education system that was still worthy of its name. Obviously it has only gotten worse in the last thirty years which doesn’t bode well for the future unless a majority of the people somehow wise up and begin to realize how important it is to elect competent leaders who are real conservatives.

Bush the first, and his boy of “No child left behind” fame and others tried to call themselves, or wanted to be known as the ‘”education” president(s) which mainly meant they wanted to just throw more at the Nation Educational Association (NEA) to placate the leftist teacher’s union leaders while doing everything they could to not only dumb-down, but to radicalize America’s youth for at least the last two generations.

President Trump is the real “education president” as he is teaching everyone who wants to learn just how bad and rotten the left’s ‘education’ (indoctrination) system actually is and how it is aided and abetted by their big spending political friends in both parties and of course our MSM (D) complex.

The question is: Will we learn from the wisdom of the president and reform ourselves and our thinking, or will we revert back to the slow and steady decline in five years post Trump?

phineas gage

Given the depressingly passive response of most Americans thus far to the stripping away of their basic Constitutional rights, what do you think?

Exodus 15:6-10

6Your right hand, O LORD,
is majestic in power;
Your right hand, O LORD,
has shattered the enemy.
7You overthrew Your adversaries
by Your great majesty.
You unleashed Your burning wrath;
it consumed them like stubble.
8At the blast of Your nostrils
the waters piled up;
like a wall the currents stood firm;
the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.
9The enemy declared,
‘I will pursue, I will overtake.
I will divide the spoils;
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword;
my hand will destroy them.’
10But You blew with Your breath,
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.

The Chinese Communists, who persecute Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and the Leftist governors and mayors who are beginning to do the same, are the Egyptians. Let them all perish in their own Red Sea.

Jimmy MacAfee

I bet he’d like to visit Ol’ Fossy Jaw for some ice cream.

DeBlowsio’s Marie Antionette would be: “Let them eat Chinese!” Just like Ol’ Fossy Jaw, in addition to her ice cream moment:

“It’s exciting to be here, especially at this time to be able to be unified with our community,” Pelosi said at the time. “We want to be vigilant about what is out there in other places. We want to be careful about how we deal with it, but we do want to say to people ‘Come to Chinatown. Here we are, careful, safe and come join us.’”

This was February 24, 2020.

DeBlowsio’s Tweet on Feb. 13:

“Our Chinatowns are open for business — make some dinner plans, do some shopping and stand with our neighbors!”

I will dance and sing as in Exodus 15 when these people, Fossy Jaw and DeBlowsio and AOCrazion and are finally removed from our presence, in a manner like the Egyptian chariots: Exodus 15:1-5

1Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD:
“I will sing to the LORD,
for He is highly exalted.
The horse and rider
He has thrown into the sea.
2The LORD is my strength and my song,
and He has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise Him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
3The LORD is a warrior,
the LORD is His name.
4Pharaoh’s chariots and army
He has cast into the sea;
the finest of his officers
are drowned in the Red Sea.a
5The depths have covered them;
they sank there like a stone.
