Trump: Stay Inside and Let’s Win This. Let’s Get Our Country Open As Soon As We Can.

The Evening Campaign Update

Some notes from this afternoon:

“Everyone stay inside and let’s win this. Let’s get our country open as soon as we can. I think it’s going to be sooner than people think.” – President Trump at this afternoon’s Task Force update.

As the cretins in the corrupt news media continue to defame hydroxycholoroquine, New York’s Democrat Governor begs for more…

NY Gov. Cuomo Asks President Trump for More Hydroxychloroquine – India Agrees To Supply U.S…

Specifically because President Trump has noted the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 the media are therefore against it.  It doesn’t matter that it works; it doesn’t matter that it saves lives; the mere fact that President Trump supports it means the entire resistance operation must be against it.  That’s the current scale of TDS.

However, non-political medical professionals, and some democrat governors who don’t want the run the political risk of killing their constituents simply to keep their resistance bona-fides, are admitting the treatment does work.  Today New York Governor Andrew Cuomo admitted to asking the federal government for more doses.

Oh. You don’t say…

From a report at the Detroit Free Press:

Detroit rep says hydroxychloroquine, Trump helped save her life amid COVID-19 fight

LANSING – A Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxychloroquine — and Republican President Donald Trump who touted the drug — for saving her in her battle with the coronavirus.

State Rep. Karen Whitsett, who learned Monday she has tested positive for COVID-19, said she started taking hydroxychloroquine on March 31, prescribed by her doctor, after both she and her husband sought treatment for a range of symptoms on March 18.

“It was less than two hours” before she started to feel relief, said Whitsett, who had experienced shortness of breath, swollen lymph nodes, and what felt like a sinus infection. She is still experiencing headaches, she said.

From a tremendous piece by Katie Pavlich:

Thousands of Doctors: Yes, Hydroxychloroquine Works Against Wuhan Coronavirus

Over the past three weeks, there’s been debate over whether hydroxychloroquine, a drug used for decades to treat malaria, can help ease the symptoms of Wuhan coronavirus. During White House press briefings, reporters have done their best to shoot down the possibility.

But doctors around the country and the world are using it and seeing positive results.

An international poll of thousands of doctors rated the Trump-touted anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine the best treatment for the novel coronavirus.

Of the 6,227 physicians surveyed in 30 countries, 37 percent rated hydroxychloroquine the “most effective therapy” for combating the potentially deadly illness, according to the results released Thursday.

The survey, conducted by the global health care polling company Sermo, also found that 23 percent of medical professionals had prescribed the drug in the US — far less than other countries.

“Outside the US, hydroxychloroquine was equally used for diagnosed patients with mild to severe symptoms whereas in the US it was most commonly used for high risk diagnosed patients,” the survey found.

The medicine was most widely used in Spain, where 72 percent of physicians said they had prescribed it.

The media and Dr. Fauci are not going to be able to hold our country hostage for much longer. Next week is going to be huge.

Willing to bet if the Senate was to enact a “No pay for any political so long as the lock down continues” bill… The country would be open for business yesterday…

Can’t make this sh-t up; it is tooooo funny:

“Virginia Governor Ralph Northam loved wearing blackface. His yearbook photos were the talk of mainstream media for a few minutes when his racist indiscretions from the past were revealed. But that story died quickly after a bit of virtue signaling from the left. Eventually, all was forgiven.

“He thought it was all behind him until today when he was demonstrating the use of a face mask. A black… face… mask. NBC Washington tried to be clever about it when they posted, “In a striking moment, Gov. Ralph Northam put on his own black face mask. He urged every Virginian to do the same.”’

Just saw this:

“President Trump asked a reporter at his April 6th press event if she was working for the government of China, following a hostile question.
She replied that her company – Phoenix Media – is “privately” owned.
She’s lying.

“The Hong Kong/Cayman Islands based Phoenix Media is actually owned in large part by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and by a former CCP propaganda officer.”

Get’s worse, but you gotta read the article yourself. It’s not long.

I want to see the Big-Pharma representatives: Dr. Flunky and Dr. Bixie forced to come up on the podium and ADMIT they were WRONG about Trump’s advocacy for the drug: hydroxychloroquine to the whole country and submit their resignations at the same time.

Won’t happen – at best they’ll be like Fonzie when he had to admit he was wrrrrr…g, er, not exactly right on the Show “Happy Days” back in the ’70s.

PS, Greg: it’s PIG Pharma, for those who put profits over lives.

Yeah, I take it she got the message – today, she was clearly on the defensive. And rightly so, no matter how much she and her buddy may have tried to help over the years. That describes a lot of us, most of us not paid anywhere near what they made and make. I’m not gonna brag, but I’ve devoted over 3 decades to helping others, nearly always against the wind, against all odds and often facing ridicule and hostility. It’s been tough. What’s been tougher is watching medical people kill their patients through indolence and ignorance and unwillingness to listen to good advice, solid observation and sound logic. After all that, I’m not all that impressed by her plaintive little defensive denials, any more than I’m impressed with myself. We all make mistakes.

There’s nothing bad about being wrong, as long as you don’t stay wrong. Put the ego aside and get on with it; it’s past time time for them to admit their mistake, so we can move on this thing and get it done.

VP Pence just extolled the leadership of FEMA in this presser; he made some good comments about FEMA and its leadership. There is a reason FEMA needs to be brought into the scene, publicly:

FEMA has been (sometimes legitimately) criticized for being rather opaque; it is the ORGAN to be used in the case of a disaster, one causing Continuity of Government PEOs to come into play (like a first-strike nuclear attack by an adversary.) FEMA, over the years, has been thought of as “the hurricane agency,” or it has been thought of as the Orwellian arm of the Federal government..

FEMA being a boogeyman, with all the “FEMA camps” and “FEMA coffins” (which might be needed in some areas of NYC?) doesn’t seem to be generating the usual kind of paranoid response as we usually see when those letters appear. Instead, we’re seeing it do what it’s supposed to do in this kind of event: coordinating and dealing with logistical issues. So when a stupid Senator (the one who speaks to apparitions/demons who apparently were sharing his seat) says we need to have a Czar or something military to deal with this? Well, it’s the same ignorant babble you hear from Fossy Jaw and Schfthead and others. Too bad they can’t decide to be American. The military IS involved, especially in transporting needed equipment DIRECTLY to hospitals, so that Governors (Puerto Rico, remember?) can’t play hide-and-seek with the materials.

But there are legitimate concerns when state governments and local governments become more tyrannical than anyone feared about the Federal Government. Like, getting arrested for driving your car? Absurd.

Trump is doing a wonderful job, and many of the people in this are also doing a wonderful job.
