Positive Signals From Trump and Barr

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

This is a tweet to remember. – Many, including yours truly, have expressed concerns that the “cure” for this Chinese virus being prescribed by the federal, state and local governments may, if it becomes any sort of long-term effort, end up creating an economic catastrophe of such proportions that it would end up being worse than the effects of the virus itself. Last night, it became apparent that President Donald Trump shares that concern.

At 10:50 p.m. eastern time Sunday evening, the President issued this all-caps tweet:

This can only be taken as a positive signal that the President at least intends for this massive closing of a huge portion of our national economy to be a temporary phenomenon. With the questionable motives of Anthony Fauci and the CDC, and the natural inclination by bureaucrats at the FDA to work to prolong timelines in their endless turf protection efforts, it is good to know that, while the President has rightly followed most of their recommendations to this point, he remains skeptical and focused on producing the best possible outcome for the American people.

For further emphasis on this message, the President re-tweeted it at around noon ET on Monday, as this piece was being written. It is clearly something he wants all of his various audiences – you, the corrupt media, congress and his team of advisors – to understand. This is an extremely positive signal.

Meanwhile, on the John Durham front… – In an interview published Monday morning in the Wall Street Journal, Attorney General William Barr made sure to let it be known that his and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s effort to “investigate the investigators” has not fallen victim to the Chinese virus. From a report in the Washington Examiner:

Attorney General William Barr told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Monday that Durham, the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut, was in Washington, D.C., last week working on the high-profile inquiry with staffers.

“There’s some discombobulation, but part of what we’re trying to do is keep up the mission,” Barr said of the Justice Department’s commitment to proceed with criminal investigations, prioritize coronavirus-related fraud prosecutions, keep the justice system functioning amid court closures and trial suspensions, and pursue other Trump administration priorities during a deadly outbreak.

Last week, Fox News reported that Durham was on pace to finish his “investigation of the investigators” by the summer. One source “suggested the investigation could end as soon as July.” But another “said it could be closer to September, based on Durham’s progress, which could be hindered by the coronavirus pandemic rocking the nation and the globe.”

Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, also said this month that Durham’s inquiry is “due to be completed sometime this summer.”

So, at least if you believe William Barr – a prospect that becomes harder and harder as time goes on without a single indictment of any of the treasonous members of the Obama-era Coup Cabal – Mr. Durham is still on the job and working towards some kind of conclusion.  That conclusion had ultimately better include multiple indictments and prosecutions of the real bad actors who worked so hard to destroy our democratic processes, and not just of low-level flunkies who make convenient scapegoats.

Failure to do that would create a devastating blow to millions of Americans’ faith in our legal justice system.

So, thanks for the positive update, Mr. Barr, but some real actions would speak much louder than your comforting words.

Or, as The King would have put it:

A little less conversation, a little more action please
All this aggravation ain’t satisfactioning me
A little more bite and a little less bark
A little less fight and a little more spark
Close your mouth and open up your heart and baby satisfy me
Satisfy me baby

That is all.

funny… first time my Barr ‘criticism’ got posted without multiple rewrites.until watered down to acceptable content.

Whisperin Pints

Recently on the Lou Dobbs show, John Solomon said not to expect more than a couple of indictments of lower-tier lackeys from the Durham investigation. Disappointment in spades.

Joe Washington

Maybe Barr is concerned about his health? What would Nathan Hale say?

Larry Folds

More prolonged BS by the BSMeister.

LOL! Not holding my breath. Barr is not going to do a damn thing. Summer will morph into Fall. Then, he’s going to wait until after the election, hoping Trump will not stay in office, and he can keep protecting the Swamp. He’s not even declassifying what Trump gave him to declass last Spring.

Odd isn’t it… one and a half year later and whats been presented… a goose egg, nada, zip… sounds a LOT like the meuller fiasco except meulers team leaked like crazy, oddly to their advantage. Yens of millions spent and produced convicts on only Trump associates and most ‘process crimes’ which were basically entrapment.

Barr has been handed MULTIPLE referrals for criminal prosecutions ALL of which he let slide. Pretty sure that IF a conviction wasn’t possible in corrupt DC that he could have found a way to move the trials out of the swamp. He puts up a great false front but has a history of swampness himself. Think he’ll go against the grain in the end?? Big disappointment coming…

John Solomon told Lou Dobbs not to expect more than a couple of indictments from the Durham investigation, and if any, likely they’ll be lower-tier lackeys.

Coup Against Trump Is “Biggest Violation Of Constitution In History”

“Yes, this is a coup. This is the most shocking violation of the Constitution and criminal activity in the history, not just of America, but of a western government…”

“Much of this rises to the level of treason. People need to understand how shocking this is. It was a clear conspiracy. There will be arrests and indictments without question. . . . This was a coup. It was a conspiracy. It was criminal activity. These people need to be indicted, charged and need to be put in prison, and if they’re not, then our Constitution is nothing more than a sham.

There is tons of proof out there that Mueller lied repeatedly under oath also and should be prosecuted but he’s Barr’s friend.

Mean while I’m certain Barr is working on those criminal referrals sent to hm over the past 18 months. Right Mr Barr?

Are we forgetting Spygate? What about the traitors running around in our gov and their media operatives?

They will await the result of the November elections. If President Trump is not reelected, this whole thing will be dropped.

Now Barr says SUMMER for Durham to emerge with his investigative results. And it will probably be delayed by the virus… I know I heard him say/promise SPRING!

Reminds me of parts of the song “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond:

Where it began — never actually been ascertained
I can’t begin to knowin’ — what or how it happened
But then I know it’s growing strong — culminating with the Mueller witch-hunt
Was in the spring — Barr was supposed to show us something
And spring became the summer — will Durham deliver any “satisfaction”
Who’d have believed you’d come along — I’m not believing anything from the DOJ
Hands, touchin’ hands — not touching hands
Reachin’ out — no one reaching out for justice
Touchin’ me — no one touching the cabal
Touchin’ you — never intending to “touch” any criminal
Sweet Caroline — Deep State goes on
Good times never seemed so good — as long as DOJ ignores its crimes
I’ve been inclined — to believe no one in government
To believe they never would — ever prosecute anyone
But now I — want justice
Look at the night — which covers all swamp activity
And it don’t seem so lonely — every corruptrocrat has friends in high places
We fill it up with only two — kinds of justice; we can’t take anymore
And when I hurt – the whole decent part of the nation hurts…

In conclusion, “Good times (will) never seem so good — for the Deep State when the statute of limitations for prosecution run out and the whole matter gets dropped.

When that happens Barr, Durham, et al will be able to shout Comey’s words to Brenan and Crapper: “Mission Accomplished”.

Wow, you put more effort into that than Barr has put into his job in the last year.

The abuse President Trump has had to stomach reminds me of Desmond Doss (in the movie Hacksaw Ridge.) Not in the quiet stoicism of the movie character (in real life, Doss had to weather some real storms) because Trump protests loudly and often. But how many men could endure the daily dousing of hatred and filth from evil people who have no concept of righteousness nor fairness? Trump has endured where all else would faint from weariness.

Barr also has to endure rocks and arrows – (sometimes from our own side, even criticism from me.) Barr should take the opportunities given to reassure people, and to stop allowing his department to continue to stonewall Judicial Watch, and stop letting his employees protect criminal wrongdoers. Barr has a choice to make: is he a Desmond Doss, standing firmly, or is he someone who will eventually wander home with a Section 8 when given the opportunity? Will he quit on us, or be a hero? His silence could be Doss’ silence, but we really don’t know.

For those of us who have endured ostracism and hostility for standing up for what is right and righteous, even in minor ways, not suffering beatings, but still enduring ridicule and rejection, serving the Lord when it’s not a popular thing, we should gain strength from the movie, which is entirely a movie about Faith and redemption.

So for you with ears, I leave you with the text of a text message/picture sent this morning from a friend:

“Quarantine and Pray

“Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Take cover for in a little while the fury will be over.” Isaiah 26:20 (not sure what version this is.)

Other version: NKJV:

“Come, my people, enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.”

Trump: Doing fine.

Barr: Technical term for action in last year: Doodley Squat. (Also running out of time).

Durham: Unknown.

Actions by Barr would be better than words, but if this investigation is completely in Durham’s hands now–at least in terms of actual indictments–then that is where the action (if any) will be.

This is just what was needed–a firm deadline for when this coronavirus hysteria ends and the process of getting back to normal begins.

The fatality rate continues to fall, now resembling that of the influenza virus. We do not shut down our national economy each year because of the influenza virus.

Meanwhile, Slow Joe’s first attempt at his virtual shadow briefing went about as badly as anticipated.

What if…Quid Pro Joe is the presumptive nominee so they can scream “election interference” by Trump and Barr? Could his “dementia” be just a ploy so he can plead insanity when he is indicted?
