Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)
The transcript of the call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky is out, and now we know why the Democrats are really in such a panic here. – You can read the transcript for yourself at this link.
First, the key takeaway here is that there is clearly, unarguably ZERO quid pro quo in anything President Trump says on this call. NONE. ZERO. ZIP. NADA. And no amount of deception on the part of our fake news media can change that immutable fact. Here is exactly what the President said as it relates to Biden and his ne’er-do-well son, Hunter:
“I heard you had a prosecutor who very good and he was shut down and that’s really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way they shut your very good prosecutor down and there were some very bad people involved. Mr Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the Mayor of New York City, a great Mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just wanted to let you know that. The other thing, there’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution, and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…it sounds horrible to me.”
That’s it. That is the only mention of anyone named “Biden.” There is no “there” there. Period
Here is the passage that really has the Democrats in their current panicked frenzy:
“I would like for you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say “Crowdstrike”...I guess you have one of your wealthy people…the server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you are surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole thing ended with a very bad performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance. But they say a lot of it started with Ukraine.”
Boom. Holy cow, this is dynamite. This is the trap into which the Democrats, in their mass insane hatred of President Trump, have fallen into.
Crowdstrike, of course, is the cyber security firm that supposedly did a forensic examination in the summer of 2016 of the DNC’s email server and certified to the FBI that it had been hacked. If you remember, the FBI under bad cop James Comey allowed the DNC to get away with that ruse, and never examined or came into possession of that server directly. Crowdstrike was in fact never required by the FBI to even produce an un-redacted copy of the server, nor was it ever required to produce an actual forensic report of its examination.
The reference to the “server” and the contention that Ukraine is in possession of a copy of its contents is what has the Democrats scrambling around to deflect attention today. This is the trap into which they have fallen – thanks to their demands that President Trump produce this transcript, we now have millions of Americans reading this, wondering what in the hell is this “Crowdsrike”, and about to find out.
Even more panicking to the Democrats is the revelation that Zelensky agreed to discuss this matter not just with Rudy Giuliani, but also with Attorney General William Barr, who we know is conducting his own investigation into all the Obama-era wrongdoing at the FBI and within the Department of Justice.
Before today, the Democrats had believed they had gotten clean way with that Crowdstrike ruse, thanks to Comey’s happy cooperation.
Today, they are panicked like they have never been before.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people.
That is all.
