On Jared Kushner, Whose Anonymous Sources Are We To Believe?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Anonymous sources everywhere, but never a one to believe.:  Fox News reports this morning that an anonymous source “familiar with the situation” has told their reporter that Jared Kushner did not in fact raise the idea of opening a back channel of communication with Russian officials last December, contrary to all the fake reports all over the fake news media the last few days, reports that were also based solely on anonymous sources.  The subject was, according to Fox’s anonymous source, actually broached by Russian officials, and would have resulted in a single telephone conversation regarding the Obama Administration’s atrocious, utter failure of a Syria policy, not a permanent back channel, as the NYTimes and WaPo have claimed.  So whose anonymous source is to be believed – the ones that resulted in the Weekly World News-like, sensationalist reports in the Times and Post, or the one that results in what sounds like a far more likely scenario at Fox News?  In today’s America, the lines of belief will no doubt break down largely along partisan lines.
  • Today’s Required Reading.:  Kurt Schlichter pens a fantastic piece at Townhall.com titled, “Liberals Are Shocked To Find We’re Starting To Hate Them Right Back.”  Seriously, just read it.  You’ll be glad you did.
  • That’s the way it has always been for communists in America.:  In a rare bit of real news at its site,  Politico has a report out about how tough it is for Bernie Sanders supporters these days, as it seems that his supporters are finding it darn near impossible to capture actual levers of power, even within the commie-friendly confines of the Democrat Party.  Gosh, I just feel so, so bad for these people, victims as they are of their own brand of nitwittery.
  • Still prosecuting the last war after all these years…:  Terry Frei, a sports reporter for the Denver Post, was fired within two hours of the end of the Indy 500, after he tweeted that he is “uncomfortable” that a Japanese driver had won the race on Memorial Day.  Some will moan about the Post’s cow-towing to the Gods of political correctness, but dang, man, World War II ended 72 years ago. Can’t we all just get along at long last?  Holy cow.
  • But hey, WWIII could be just around the corner, if John McCain gets his way.:  The Senator From The News Media, in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Company, said that “[Vladimir] Putin is a bigger threat than ISIS.”  The tirelessly warmongering Senator was unfortunately not asked by the interviewer where he would place himself in that same ranking, but most informed observers would put him way up there.
  • That escalated quickly.:  When Texas Republican state representative Matt Rinaldi called ICE after he was threatened by some in a very large and loud group of pro-sanctuary city protesters who had gathered in the state capitol building while the legislature was in session, Democratic state rep. Pancho Navarez threatened to kill him.  This is what the Democrat Party of today refers to as peaceful debate of the issues.
  • Meanwhile, in the realm of winning…:  While the Democrats and the fake news media continue their tireless efforts to distract the American people from reality, the Trump Administration keeps on winning, systematically erasing huge chunks of the Obama “legacy”, such as it is.  This includes progress on building the promised wall along the southern border, where, as the DC Examiner reports, planning is well underway, contracts are being bid out, and there is, despite fake media reports to the contrary, plenty of money in the budget to start construction.

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

Fake NYTimes Reporters Correct Fake WaPo Reporters

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • When fake news corrects fake news.:  The fake journalists at the WaPo issued a “blockbuster” report – based solely on anonymous sources – that Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner contacted Russian officials in December to discuss the concept of creating a “secret” communications channel with the Trump transition team.  The fake reporters for the Post spend about 1,000 words without ever landing on two key bits of information:  1) was such a channel actually established, and 2) what did they wish to discuss?  To get that information, you have to go to a follow-up report, filed not by the fake reporters at the Post, but by the fake reporters at the NYTimes, who actually chose for once to inform their readers.  Turns out that 1) no one – not the Russians or the transition team – ever followed up on the call, and 2) the Trump team simply wanted to establish a channel of information regarding the situation in Syria, most likely because it couldn’t get accurate information from the Obama Administration, and was by that time sick of being spied on by the Obama minions.
  • One more item of info the WaPo conventiently left out:  The fake reporters at the WaPo want its brainwashed readers to think Kushner’s request somehow violated U.S. law.  Guess what?  It didn’t.  The Post’s own report admits – 400 words in – that it is very common for presidential transition teams to establish communications with foreign governments.  Just another nothing-burger from the WaPo.
  • Remember when we used to get college degrees so we could go out into the world and earn our own way in life?  Yeah, those days are over.:  The snowflakes graduating from Harvard were treated deep thoughts from Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, among them, this gem:  “We should explore concepts like universal income, to make sure everyone has a cushion to explore new ideas.”  Yes, new ideas.  Like socialism.  Of course, these snowflakes will need all the help they can get, since most of them have incurred massive debt in order to obtain worthless degrees that have no application in the U.S. economy.  Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.
  • The racketeering never ends for the Most Corrupt Woman in America.:  She used her commencement speech at Wellesley College for Communist Indoctrination mainly for communist indoctrination, but interrupted that theme for a few minutes to get in a plug for her new racket:  “I’m going to devote a lot of my future to helping you make your mark in the world,” she told the class of 2017. “I’ve created a new organization called Onward Together to recruit and train future leaders, organize for real and lasting change.” It’s a very, very safe bet this dark money group will be run on the same model as the dying Clinton Crime Family Foundation:  a tiny sliver of funds going to the mission, and well over 90% of the money going to exorbitant salaries, bonuses, travel and event planning.

Just another day in fake news correcting fake news America.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 5.17.2017

  • The latest fake shoe to drop.:  The NY Times took fake journalism to new lows Tuesday evening, running a report claiming President Trump kind of, sort of, not-really-but-we’ll-pretend-like-he-did-so-we-can-get-more-clicks-on-our-website “asked” James Comey back in February if he “could see his way clear” to let the investigation of Mike Flynn go.  The Times ran this incredibly inflammatory story based solely on the word of an anonymous “source” who alleged Comey wrote a contemporaneous memo at the time of this request.  Not that the Times has actually seen this memo – oh, no, waiting to see the memo before running with such a story would be an act of actual journalism, so the Times could never do that – rather, the Times ran with this story after this anonymous source read part of the memo to one of its fake reporters.  #Fakenews, defined.
  • Not exactly profiles in courage, but it works.:  This latest episode of the deep state coordinating its efforts with the fake news media and the Democrat Party provides another great example of the different ways politicians in the two parties respond in such situations.  Within moments of the Times report – because they had all certainly been given an advance notice by the Times – every Democrat in Washington was seeking out microphones so they could recite the same inflammatory talking points and slanders against the President.  This is what Democrats always do – they hang together and take political advantage.
  • The Times said what?  Ooops, time for dinner.:  The Republicans, meanwhile, were completely disorganized and confused, as they usually are.  Most of them simply slunk off to their $300 dinners or whatever fundraiser they had planned and avoided comment.  Fox News Anchor Brett Baier spent a solid hour on his nightly news cast searching in vain for a GOP member of congress who would come onto his program to discuss the matter.  He found no one.
  • The party that hangs together doesn’t get hanged.:  This willingness of Democrats to hang together in a crisis, and rank disloyalty by Republicans in the same situations is why Barack Obama could be caught abusing the IRS, corrupting the Justice Department and loading up a plane with $400 million in foreign currency for the Iranian Mullahs and never have to pay any price whatsoever for abusing his office.  Meanwhile, a Republican President expresses a “hope” to a subordinate, and suddenly it’s the end of the world.  Of course, it helps that the Democrats have 98% of the news media willing to coordinate with them, but that doesn’t excuse the stupidity of the GOP.
  • In actual news that you won’t see in the NYTimes, an investigator into the mysterious death last July of senior DNC staffer Seth Rich announced that he can prove that Rich sent more than 44,000 DNC emails WikiLeaks.  This confirms what WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange had already basically admitted, which is that Mr. Rich – not Russia – was his source for the damaging DNC emails that were released just prior to last year’s Democrat National Convention.  You can bet the fake news media will avoid this story like a new strain of swine flu since it basically destroys their entire Trump/Russia collusion fantasy.
  • He plans to cuss them into submission.:  Speaking of the DNC, its serial cussing Chairman, Tom Perez, announced he is going to hold several meetings with pro-life Democrats in an effort to mend fences with them.  This comes in the wake of his statements several weeks ago that anyone who respects the life of unborn children has no place in his political party.  Which is true, but he now wants to pretend that it isn’t, because the Democrats need all the votes they can get.  No word if he plans to cuss at these people while he’s trying to make nice with them, but doing so would certainly be in keeping with his (lack of) character.
  • She hated dark money until her scam foundation failed.  Then she needed a new scam.:  Meanwhile, that famous critic of “dark money” in politics – The Most Corrupt Woman In America – announced she is forming her own 501(c)(4) political action organization that will be funded entirely by “dark money”.  As is always the case with the Clintons, if they are demonizing some behavior you can be sure they are deeply involved in that behavior.

Just another day in fake news media America.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 5.16.2017

  • Today’s Fake News From The Deep State:  The Washington Post filed a fake report based on nothing but anonymous sources claiming that President Trump revealed classified information about ISIS during his recent meeting with senior Russian officials.  Here’s the problem with this report:  The fake news media wants us all to believe this report, but we can’t trust our fake news media to tell us the truth about anything relating to President Trump, since the fake media has been revealed a multitude of times issuing fake reports about him.  The WaPo is among the worst offenders in this regard.
  • The really disturbing aspect of this report – which is offered without any real evidence and has been denied by multiple people who were actually in the room at the time – is that there are so many people in the fake news media, in the Democrat Party and in the U.S. intel community who are dead set on leading our country into a shooting war with Russia.  That’s what the whole “Trump colluded with Russia” fantasy play is all about, it’s what this WaPo story is all about, and it’s what the Democrat Party’s entire strategy towards this Administration appears to be all about:  They are attempting to make it literally impossible for a U.S. President to establish anything resembling positive relations with the world’s third largest military power.  A real journalist would be doing his or her best to try to figure out why that is the case.  Unfortunately, there are only about three real journalists working in the fake national news media these days, so no one should be holding their breath waiting for this to happen.
  • Cancel the Press Briefings, now.:  this report is just one more reason why the President should cancel the daily White House press briefings today, because today’s farce will consist of nothing more than hostile fake reporters asking loaded, hostile questions about this fake report in the Washington Post.  Why should the White House host an event that will only serve to give fake reporters a chance to continue harping on a fake narrative?  Today would be a great day to stop this madness.
  • Today’s News The Fake National Media Won’t Report:  In real news, a private investigator hired by the family of the late DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was mysteriously murdered last July just as WikiLeaks was beginning to release damaging emails obtained from the DNC server, told a local DC TV station yesterday that he has obtained evidence from Rich’s computer that proves Rich was in touch with WikiLeaks prior to being killed.  The DC Police, without any evidence to support it, have claimed Rich’s murder was a robbery gone bad, even though nothing was stolen from him.  Rich’s family has believed since day one that their son’s murder was connected with his job at the DNC.  All I know is, this investigator probably should hire a body guard of his own.
  • Speaking of the DNC…:  The Democrat National Committee is now the defendant in a class action suit filed by workers who staffed the DNC National Convention last year in Philadelphia.  The reason for the suit?  The DNC, which has in its platform a demand to raise the minimum wage nationally to $15/hour, only paid the workers $8/hour.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 4.10.2017

  • I’m old enough to remember when they actually played music.:  It seems the only way the Dixie Chicks can sell records is to send their obnoxious lead singer, Natalie Maines, out there to bash a Republican president.  During the height of the Iraq War, Ms. Maines issued her complaints about George W. Bush during the group’s concert events in Europe.  They can’t attract an audience anymore, so now Ms. Maines has resorted to social media, issuing nasty tweets to President Trump.  My goodness.
  • This is Jerry Brown, “skillfully” stealing and spending other people’s money.:  After the California legislature passed yet another massive tax increase on the state’s beleaguered residents – this time in the form of a major raise in the gasoline tax – the fake reporters at the Associated Press published a piece with the headline “California’s gas tax hike shows governor’s political skill”.  Presumably, when the AP publishes a future fake news item about all the businesses and residents who abandon the Golden State as a result of its soul-crushing tax burden, it will carry the headline “California’s mass exodus shows governor’s relocation skill”.
  • Ok, well, maybe it was two lone wolves.  Oh, wait…:  Islamic terrorists killed at least 44 Christians in two separate church bombings on Palm Sunday.  Fake reporters and fake editors all over the U.S. fake news media were left feverishly scrambling to find a way, some way, to blame it all on their cherished “lone wolf.”  Meanwhile, ISIS yet again took full credit for this latest atrocity.
  • The liberal Boogeyman speaks.:  Russia announced on Sunday that it would respond to any further U.S. military actions against the Syrian government with military action of its own.  This left fake reporters and fake editors all over the fake U.S. news media scrambling to invent a rationale to credit Russia’s statement to it’s cherished “Trump/Russia” coordination fantasy.
  • Hey…did Vlad sign off on this?:  Meanwhile, the Trump Administration put Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad on notice that it will take further military action should Syria again resort to the use of chemical weapons.  Contrary to the belief of the fake news media, Vladimir Putin was not consulted prior to the issuance of that notice.
  • Beware of praise coming from ghouls.:  In an appearance on Fox News on Sunday, war-mongering Senator Lindsey Graham said  “I would say this about President Trump, I’m proud of him.  He did something Obama did not do and if I’m North Korea I’m going to think differently about Trump.  He didn’t draw a red line, he just acted.”  That’s all well and good, but we should all hope that the President takes any praise coming from the Graham/McCain war hawk faction of the U.S. Senate as a reason to even more carefully review everything that he’s planning to do in the Middle East.  It’s one thing to bomb an air field in retaliation for a chemical weapons atrocity, but these guys want to send 200,000 U.S. men and women into another country’s civil war, and that is a different thing entirely.

Just another day in Red Line Enforcing America.

That is all.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 4.4.2017

  • Supreme Court nominee John Gorsuch was voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committee on a party-line vote.  Hard to believe that not a single Democrat on the Committee chose to do the right thing and vote to confirm him.  That kind of lock-step behavior is so out of character to those open-minded liberals.  Bwah, hahahahahahahahahahhhhhhh!!!  Man, I’m really cracking myself up here.
  • If you expected the major television networks to properly report the bombshell revelation that Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice actively ordered the unmasking of members of the Trump campaign and transition team dozens of times since at least last July, think again.  Neither ABC nor NBC dedicated a second to reporting on what, if proven, would be the biggest presidential scandal of the nation’s history, and CBS aired a report in which their fake reporter actually defended Ms. Rice’s actions.  These people are going to play out this farce in coordination with the Democrats to the very last move.
  • In reaction to the Susan Rice story, Senator Rand Paul suggested the Senate Intelligence Committee should subpoena her to testify under oath.  Senator John McCain, who has been feverishly pushing the Democrats’ “Trump/Russia” fantasy at every opportunity, was noticeably silent on the matter.
  • Eleven Russians are dead thanks to what authorities describe as a suicide bombing that took place in the St. Petersburg subway on Monday.  The attacker was a Muslim man who hails from the Muslim nation of Kyrgyzstan.  The fake anchors and fake reporters at CNN will spend the next couple of weeks pretending not to know what the poor man’s motivations might have been.
  • President Donald Trump, as he promised, donated his presidential salary for the first quarter of 2017 to the National Park Service on Monday.  The $78k+ will go to the preservation of historic battlefields.  No word yet if the country’s social justice warriors have figured out a way to classify this act as somehow being “racist”, “sexist” or “homophobic”, but it’s just a matter of time.
  • The fake reporters and editors at the NY Times found no room in their fake newspaper to do a proper report on the Susan Rice matter, but did manage to find space for a 1,000 word instruction for Millenials titled “How to find your missing keys.”  It includes such helpful hints from key-finding “experts” as “don’t look where you don’t need to look,”, “don’t go round in circles,” and the capper of all the cappers, “The most efficient way to find something is not to look where you don’t need to look.”  Now that, my friends, is fake news that fits in the fake newspaper of record.
  • The White House unveiled the first official portrait of First Lady Melania Trump.  The fake news media universally used the occasion as an opportunity to jealously cluck about the size of her 25 karat anniversary ring. *sigh*
  • Today is National Hug a Newsperson Day.  I’m not kidding.  However, it only applies to real, actual, non-fake newspeople, so the pickings are extremely thin.  So if you manage to find such an animal to hug, be sure to share it generously.

Just another day in fake news media America.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 3.11.2017

  • Don’t let the door hit you in your…well, you know the rest. – It took longer than we would have liked, but Attorney General Jeff Sessions requested the resignations of all 46 remaining Obama-era U.S. Attorneys on Friday.  There are 94 U.S. Attorneys in total, which means that 48 had already chosen to do the right thing without having to be asked.  It is not clear whether Sessions will accept all 46 resignations, assuming all the leftovers have the good grace to comply with his request, but we can be sure that the vast majority will be gone soon.  Failing to take this action upon assuming office was one of the single biggest errors in judgment George W. Bush made, as many of the Clinton holdovers did everything they could to undermine his Justice Department and administration. Good to see President Trump and the Attorney General are clear-eyed in the need to clean out this particular sector of the DC swamp.  Cool.
  • Wait…she said what??? – When it comes to the expression of rank hypocrisy in the most blatant manner possible, San Fran Nan Pelosi never disappoints.  On Friday, Ms. Pelosi, famous for telling constituents during the ObamaCare debates in 2009 that “We must pass the bill in order to see what’s in it”, sent a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan in which she said, in part “The American people and Members have a right to know the full impact of this legislation before any vote in Committee or by the whole House.”  While that is certainly fair and valid point for the Democrats to make, they chose the most unfortunate messenger possible to make it.  But then again, what else is new where the Democrats are concerned?  I mean, who were they going to get to do it – Maxine Waters, who thinks Russia is at war with Korea?  Let’s face it, the pickings are pretty slim over there on that side of the aisle.
  • Here’s an example of why they had to go with San Fran Nan – Our favorite Commie, the loser Bernie Sanders, was quoted as saying “We have lost the White House, the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, almost two-thirds of the governors’ chairs and close to 900 legislative seats across this country. How can anyone not conclude that the Democratic agenda and approach has been a failure?”  See, to the Democrats, dealing with issues in the most hypocritical manner possible is far preferable than having to stare that sort of reality in the face.  The rest of us should encourage them to keep up the good work.
  • We needed a study to tell us this?  Really? – Heat Street reported on Friday that “A new study by the Wesleyan Media Project has found that the 2016 presidential campaign run by Hillary Clinton is without a doubt one of the worst-run political operations in years.”  Man, we could have saved these guys a whole bunch of money on that study deal.  That’s like conducting a study to determine whether or not Russia really is at war with Korea.  If you don’t already know the answer, why would anyone take you seriously in any event?

Just another day in Trump Derangement Syndrome America.

That is all.
