The Campaign Update Week In Review: Winning. Sooooo Much Winning.

So, let’s review the week we have just experienced, because it will be remembered as the week the tide truly turned:

  • Humiliation for pretty much every major fake media outlet:  CNN, Reuters, Bloomberg, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, WaPo and NPR.  Somehow, the NYTimes escaped major embarrassment, unless I missed something.  Sheer luck, no doubt.
  • The Mueller coup d’etat effort began to come unraveled, as detailed in Friday morning’s Campaign Update.
  • Supreme court upholds Trump travel ban on a 7-2 decision.
  • The Trump economy is booming, and our pathetic ex-President is wandering around the country desperately trying to take credit for it.
  • ISIS is in utter and complete shambles, a story the fake news media is desperately ignoring.
  • Roy Moore is headed for a landslide win in next Tuesday’s special election, as pretty much all of his accusers have been shown to be liars.
  • Trump announces U.S. will finally move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Democrats and media go insane with rage.
  • Al Franken and John Conyers have been run out of congress by their Democrat colleagues, who are desperately searching for a new angle of attack against President Trump, now that their whole “Russia Collusion” fantasy has collapsed.
  • Justice Department initiates investigation into Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in baby body parts.
  • Bad actors in the FBI and Justice Department are being systematically marginalized.
  • The biggest tax cut in American history being negotiated in conference committee.
  • And did I mention that the Trump economy is booming?  I did? That’s ok, it can’t be pointed out often enough.

Just another week in I cannot get enough of this #WINNING  America.

That is all.

The Kate Steinle Verdict Cements California’s Status As America’s Only 3rd World State

  • Can we accelerate that whole CalExit process, please? – A jury of 12 Californians found themselves unable to find Jose Zarate guilty of the murder Kate Steinle on a San Francisco Pier in 2015.  If you had any prior doubts that California has devolved into a pathetic 3rd world country, this decision should resolve them.
  • In a tweet, President Trump called the verdict “disgraceful,” but it’s worse than that.  The O.J. Simpson verdict was a disgrace to the legal system, but at least one could understand the racial grievances against the LAPD that were at play in that case.  No such grievances were at play in the Zarate case.  If anything, our society had been far to racially sensitive with this scumbag, who had been deported five times prior to his killing of Steinle because of his criminal nature, only to come right back into our country thanks to Barack Obama’s lax border security policies.
  • No, this verdict isn’t merely “disgraceful,” it’s un-American.  And if Californians no longer wish to be part of America and its legal system, this slap in the face of American values indicates that perhaps the time has come for America to oblige them.
  • Thursday was a really bad day for John Conyers.  First, he announced he would not be seeking re-election next year, in the hopes that that meaningless gesture would tamp down the growing pressure on him to resign.  When it became obvious by late morning that wasn’t going to do the trick, Conyers then let it leak that he would be announcing his retirement come January, a transparent delaying tactic made in the hopes that the whole controversy would have escaped the short attention span of the fake news media by then.  After all, what with the exposures of the likes of Mark Halperin, Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer and so many others still to come, the media has its own problems.
  • But no, that wasn’t going to work for the embattled Democrat sex-abusing “icon”.   So, early in the afternoon, he had his people announce that he had checked into the hospital due to “stress-related” problems, hoping to garner a little sympathy from the public, the fake media and his colleagues.  But man, even that didn’t work, and when that doesn’t work for an 88 year-old serial sex abuser, ain’t nothing gonna work.  Thus, by mid-afternoon, even San Fran Nan Pelosi understood that, and at a hastily-called press conference, the face of the Democrat Party, who had just four days before referred to the dean of the House in such glowing terms finally, at long last, called for his resignation.   For any Democrat, when even the soulless House Majority Leader is forced to come around and condemn you, you know you’ve got a problem.
  • But Conyers soldiered on into the late evening, having his wife accuse a group of fake reporters assembled outside the front door of the Conyers home in Detroit of racism, asking them if they do the same thing to white people?  Well, yeah, we all know they do frequently go after white people like this – the fake media is pretty much equal opportunity when it comes to staging such scenes –  but in this instance, the Conyers clan does appear to have a legitimate claim of racial bias.  The thing is, the claim would be better leveled at the leaders of the Democrat Party rather than fake journalists.
  • After all, Senator Al Franken found himself targeted by yet another accuser on Thursday – a military member who claims Franken groped her while on a USO tour in 2003 – and no one in the Democrat Party was calling for his resignation.  It is certainly reasonable for the Conyers family to ask why that is.  This makes six women now who have accused the former bad comic of some form of sexual assault, yet the Democrat Party refuses to do the right thing.
  • Not a single Democrat has called for Franken’s resignation in the two weeks since the first allegation of his bad behavior came to light.  Not one.  This in spite of the fact that we even have pictures of Franken sexually assaulting Leeann Tweeden.  If you’re John Conyers and his family, it would certainly seem reasonable to ask why the Democrats are targeting your family member while leaving the pasty-white Senator from Minnesota alone.

Just another day in California needs to leave America.

That is all.

Media Lapdogs – The Great Enablers of Sexual Abuse on Capitol Hill

  • BOOM!  As I’m writing this morning’s Update, Down Goes Lauer!  Down Goes Lauer!  Down Goes Lauer!  More on this tomorrow.
  • Melanie Sloan, a former top communications aide to 88 year-old Democrat Congressman John Conyers, told an interviewer on Tuesday of an instance in which Conyers called her to his office when he was in his underwear.  “I was pretty taken aback to see my boss half-dressed,” she told The Washington Post. “I turned on my heel and I left.”  Alrighty, then.  Ms. Sloan has leveled sexual harassment allegations at Conyers that date back to 1997, 20 years ago.
  • The unfortunately named Bob Weiner (no word if he hails from the Anthony Weiner clan), who served as Conyers’ communications director from 1994 to 2000, told a group of reporters assembled outside Conyers’ congressional office that, “Something else that people need to know: his closet is in his office right here. He changes clothes in his office.”  So that makes it all ok, then.  Right?
  • Ok, no it doesn’t.  Over the last 20 years I’ve visited dozens, perhaps hundreds of congressional offices, and can personally attest to the fact that pretty much all those offices have closets in them.  No doubt it is common for members of congress – men and women alike – to change clothes in their offices.  In fact, it has become increasingly common for some members of congress to actually live in their offices while in Washington, rather than go to the great expense of trying to keep a home in the nation’s capital.  And no doubt, staffers from time to time accidentally walk in on their boss while he or she is in the process of changing.  That’s the kind of oops moment that happens to everyone in life.
  • That is entirely different than a boss – any boss – asking his subordinate to come into his office, only to find him standing there in his underwear.  It is really not hard for any thinking person to make that simple distinction in circumstances.  But if your name is Bob Weiner, it’s apparently a very complex matter.
  • Look, John Conyers needs to be run out of congress on a rail.  The allegations by Ms. Sloan weren’t even the worst made against him this week.  The worst came from long-time fake journalist swamp creature Cokie Roberts, who smirkingly told her colleagues on ABC’s This Week that she and her fellow female fake journalist colleagues have “talked about for years: ‘Don’t get in the elevator with him,’ you know, and the whole every-female in the press corps knew that, right, don’t get in elevator with him.”  Wait, what?
  • This statement by Roberts is perhaps more damaging to the fake press corps than it is to Congressman Conyers himself.  So, every woman covering Capitol Hill has known for many years that, if you get on an elevator with this guy, you’re probably going to be sexually assaulted?  This isn’t funny, it’s not cute, it’s not something for any real journalist to be smirking about on national television.  If what Cokie says is true, this guy has been a menace to women for decades, given that it has been decades since Ms. Roberts was actually a reporter who actively walked the halls of the congressional office buildings.
  • Even more disgusting, Cokie’s comments mean that she believes that literally every woman in the Capitol Hill press corps has been actively covering up Conyers’ abuse of women for decades.  It raises the question of whether Conyers would have received similar cover from the women of the press if he were a Republican, instead of a fellow Democrat.
  • This lapdog behavior by all these fake journalists is one of the main reasons why many members of congress have been able to skate by for the last 22 years while paying out more than $18 million from a taxpayer-funded slush fund to settle complaints involving sexual harassment and other wrongdoing.
  • It’s important to remember that Conyers and Sen. Al Franken are just the tip of a vast iceberg here.  As more and more accusations of sexual abuse by members of congress come out, it will be important for the public to judge how long the abuse has been going on, and why the press never reported on it.
  • Because, just like in Hollywood, when you have a serial abuser running around, everyone knows about it, just like Cokie and all her female fake reporter colleagues have always known about John Conyers.

Just another day in everyone always knows America.

That is all.

The Congressional Protection Racket Forms Up Around Franken and Conyers

Today’s Campaign Update

  • Senator Al Franken said on Sunday that he is “embarrassed and ashamed” over his apparent obsession with grabbing womens’ butts over the years, but not so embarrassed or ashamed that he plans to give up his job in the U.S. Senate, where he will report for booty, er, duty today.  Let’s hope he and Roy Moore get to serve on the same committees should Moore begin a senate term in January – the hearings will make for tremendous political theater.
  • She meant “zero tolerance for thee, not for me.” – Meanwhile, if you’re wondering why Alabama’s Republican voters might still elect Judge Moore to the senate in spite of the allegations arrayed against him, look no further than Sunday morning’s interview by San Fran Nan Pelosi on NBC’s Meet the Press.  Pelosi has spent the last few weeks shrieking that Moore should leave the race because his accusers must – MUST, I say – be believed,  and that congress should have “zero tolerance” for sex abusers.  But, when asked if that “zero tolerance” should apply to Democrat Cong. John Conyers, who has also been accused by several women of disgusting episodes of sexual harassment, she told NBC’s fake host Chuck Todd that Conyers deserves “due process. Just because someone is accused…was it one accusation, is it two?…John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women.”  *sigh*
  • When Republican and independent voters in Alabama see such a rank double-standard being practiced not only by the fake news media, but also by the literal national face of the Democrat Party, it naturally reduces their willingness to believe the allegations facing Judge Moore.  After all, if, as Pelosi clearly implies, the accusers actually aren’t to just be believed out of hand, then why should they buy into the allegations against Moore, when the only actual evidence presented thus far – the supposed signature in one accuser’s high school yearbook – has pretty much conclusively been demonstrated to be a forgery?
  • So, Franken and Conyers get protected by both their fellow Democrats and by Republicans Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, who have begun “investigations” into their behavior by the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE).  This is akin to siccing Inspector Clouseau onto the paths of serial killers.  Placing these matters in the hands of the OCE simply means that nothing will happen for many months, as the “investigation” proceeds at a snail’s pace, in the hopes that it will all fade from the public’s collective memory in the meantime.  Then, once the “investigation” is completed, the results will be quietly released at about 6:30 ET on a Friday evening – preferably at the start of a holiday weekend – so as to incur the minimum possible media attention.
  • It’s a bi-partisan protection racket. – But of course, we all must keep in mind that it isn’t just Democrat members of congress who have much to lose here – it’s Republicans, too.  Conyers’ lawyer threatened over the weekend that, if his client goes down, he will take lots of other members of congress down with him.  That probably won’t be too hard for Conyers to achieve, given that a congressional slush fund has payed out roughly $18 million over the last 20 years in settlements of sexual harassment cases.  Oh, the humanity!
  • Their rush to protect Franken and Conyers by calling for OCE “investigations” doesn’t necessarily mean McConnell and Ryan have anything to hide themselves, but they do no doubt have many members of their respective houses of congress to protect, and they’re wasting no time doing it.  After all, whether Republican or Democrat, members of congress, like Ryan, McConnell and Pelosi, are members of America’s protected, ruling class.  They have all become quite accustomed to exempting themselves from the laws and mandated behaviors that apply to the rest of us, and they’ll be damned if they’re going to go down without a fight.
  • No one ever said that draining the DC Swamp was going to be easy.

Just another day in congressional protection racket America.

That is all.

The Harvey Weinstein-ing of Bill and Hillary Clinton is Well Underway

Today’s Campaign Update

  • Liberal icons continue to fall to revelations that they have abused women in the past.  I would have said “allegations” rather than “revelations”, but hey, I’ve been told that all these women must be believed.  Liberals made these rules, and now they must live with them, even as it becomes painfully obvious that the issue of sexual harassment is mainly an issue among liberals preying on liberals.
  • Yesterday alone, the roster of liberal sexual abusers grew with the addition of these names:  Democrat Cong. John Conyers; very, very haughty liberal CBS/PBC fake news man Charlie Rose; NY Times White House fake reporter Glenn Thrush; leftwing movie director Oliver Stone; Senator Al Franken was accused by a third woman; even Bill Clinton had four more women come out and accuse him of sexual abuse.  Folks, that’s just one day in liberal sex abuse world.
  • Don’t think this is all, or that we are even nearing the end of these revelations.  The reality is that this deal is just getting started in earnest where politicians are concerned.  I haven’t noted it here to this point, but it was revealed last week that congress has for the last 20 years had a process for sexual harassment allegations in place that requires accusers to sign non-disclosure agreements and go through 30 days of mandatory “counseling” before moving forward with formal claims.  Over the last two decades, even this process, which strongly discourages the victim from moving forward, has resulted in congressional payouts of more than $15 million to victims of sexual abuse.  John Conyers is just the tip of the iceberg where that’s concerned, trust me.
  • We’ve also just begun to scratch the surface where Bill Clinton is concerned.  The four women who accused the former President yesterday were all employees of billionaire Ron Burkel, with whom Clinton spent years flying around the world with a gaggle of young women during the early 2000’s.  Clinton also made dozens of flights on private jet of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who owned a private island known as ‘Orgy Island’ during the same time period.   What do you think he was doing with his pal Jeff?
  • Guess who else was a big pal of Mr. Epstein:  That’s right – Kevin Spacey, who himself stands accused of pedophilia by a covey of actors!  See how this all starts to tie together?  It doesn’t take a genius to see what our nation has ahead of it in the coming weeks and months, as all the people who have spent the last quarter century covering up for the Clintons wake up to the realization that they have lost their power and influence.
  • One such person is New York Senator Kirstin Gillebrand, who famously spent several weeks earlier this year acting on polling data that told Democrats that the best way to appeal to Millenials is to curse a lot in public.  Holy cow, did Sen. Gillebrand act on that data, filling every speech with f-words and s-words for weeks on end.
  • It’s no secret that Sen. Gillebrand entertains presidential ambitions of her own, and she has obviously decided that one good way to raise her profile is to quit covering for Bill Clinton, as she has done for many years, and go after him, as she did in an interview late last week.  In that interview, she told her fake journalist softball-lobbing interviewer that Mr. Clinton should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.  She sort of got cold feet on Monday – possibly realizing she’d put herself in danger of committing Arkancide – and backed off of that claim, but her goal of raising her public profile by criticizing a Clinton was already accomplished.
  • Sen. Gillebrand is an early adopter of the ‘bash Clinton’ strategy for raising her public profile, and such early adoptions are always filled with stops and starts.  But we can expect more and more ambitious liberal politicians to jump on this train as the Clintons’ power and influence continue to wane.  It’s a much slower process, but the Clintons increasingly are finding themselves in the same situation that Harvey Weinstein is now in, isolated and with fewer and fewer hangers-on and media shills willing to do their bidding.
  • Unless the fake news media outlets that have covered for the Clintons for the last 25 years engage in one more big rally on their behalf, and start once again working to destroy anyone who criticizes them or accuses them of sexual wrongdoing, this process is irreversible.  Bill and Hill may well end up preferring to be prosecuted over the Uranium One scandal than to suffer through the ultimate public revelations of all of Bill’s sexual escapades.  It couldn’t happen to a nicer couple.

Just another day in liberal chickens coming home to roost America.

That is all.
