Trump’s “DACA” Meeting: Another Mission Accomplished

  • In my new year’s predictions piece (2018 Will Be A Wild and Crazy Year in Trump’s America) I predicted that “The crisis with North Korea will be resolved without a shot being fired.”  In case you hadn’t noticed – because the fake news media is spending as little time covering it as possible – a few  days after that piece was published, the Crazy Little Fat Guy called his counterpart in South Korea to request that the two countries engage in bi-lateral negotiations.  Those talks commenced on Monday, and have already begun to bear fruit.  This never happened while Barack Obama was appeasing the Crazy Little Fat Guy.  Funny how it does happen, now that the appeasement has ended.
  • Speaking of talks between hostile nations, President Donald Trump (I still never tired of typing those three words) hosted a room full of congressional Republican and Democrat leaders at the White House to talk immigration on Tuesday.  Normally, the fake journalists who represent the fake news media outlets are invited to come in for the first 5 minutes of such meetings, so they can take pictures and ask stupid, insulting questions.  That’s how all prior presidents have done it, and it’s the routine to which the fake journalists have become accustomed.
  • But, of course, Donald Trump does not do “routine,” a reality that the fake journalists still have not figured out.  So it came as a yuuuge surprise to the fake reporters – and an even bigger shock to the members of congress who hate having to speak on the record without their script in front of them –  when the President instructed the leering press to just stick around and film the whole thing.  And for the next 50 minutes or so, President Trump turned the meeting into the latest episode of The Apprentice, with Trump holding forth from the center of the table, asking piercing questions, telling everyone why they’re wrong about specific things, and completely dominating the discussion.  The only shame was that he couldn’t point to Sen. Dianne Feinstein and say, “you’re fired.”
  • It all came as such a shock to the fake news media system that even CNN saw its fake hosts praising the President in real time, before they had a chance to get with their Democrat benefactors and develop negative talking points about it.  The vacuous Wolf Blitzer found himself telling CNN’s little toady White House fake reporter Jim Acosta that he had to give Trump “a lot of credit” for allowing press cameras to cover a “really remarkable meeting.”  Blitzer later opened a segment with White House Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short by saying, “Thank you for allowing that meeting today to be open to our TV cameras.  I think it was very productive, very important.”
  • This will all change this morning, now that the Democrats and fake media have had a chance to get into their own conference room and hammer out a negative narrative for the President’s performance, but the Trump goal was achieved, and it has nothing to do  with immigration.
  • Wait, what?  Yes, that meeting yesterday was not in any way about solving the nation’s immigration problems.  The President is not naive – he is keenly aware that these particular Republicans and these particular Democrats are never, never, ever going to come to any agreement over an approach to the immigration problems facing this country.  Which is why he knew he could sit there and tell them “I’ll sign whatever you bring me” in terms of a comprehensive immigration bill without worrying about ever having to actually do such a thing.
  • This is especially true with Trump’s one provision that any agreement on DACA or a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants already in the country must include the building of a border wall, and the elimination of chain migration.  He made that crystal clear at the beginning of the meeting, and reiterated it again with tweets afterwards.  Those are deal killers for Democrats, whose one and only interest in all of this is maximizing illegal immigration with the goal of ultimately turning them all into Democrat voters.
  • Thus, Donald Trump knew he could sit in that meeting a let them all bicker with one another without ever having to worry about actually seeing a comprehensive immigration bill come to his desk.  Which means that all the hysteria from Ann Coulter and the rest of the anti-immigration right we saw last night and will see again today about the President somehow going back on his campaign promises is meaningless blather from people who also still do not understand how Donald Trump operates.
  • So, then, what was the meeting all about?  Well, it was about demonstrating clearly, without any question at all, that Donald Trump is in complete control of his mental faculties, does not have dementia, and is clearly capable of carrying out the duties of being President of the United States.  It was about conclusively and effectively refuting these treasonous allegations that have been made ad nauseum by Democrats and in the fake news media since the publication of Michael Wolff’s gossip novel.   After all, if the guy who was clearly in complete control of that meeting is mentally deficient, what does that make all the politicians in the room who were clearly subservient to him?
  • That, my friends, is the one and only thing that meeting yesterday was about, at least from Donald Trump’s perspective.
  • Mission accomplished.

Just another day in Donald Trump is in control America.

That is all.

2018 Will Be A Wild And Crazy Year In Donald Trump’s America

Here are The Campaign Update’s First Annual Random Predictions for 2018:

  • The crisis with North Korea will be resolved without a shot being fired – the only question is whether or not the Crazy Little Fat Guy survives the resolution.
  • Jim Acosta will suffer an on-air nervous breakdown – The behavior of CNN’s petulant White House correspondent became increasingly erratic and outrageous as 2017 progressed, and his obvious lobbying for a gig hosting his own show fell on deaf ears among the fake news channel’s management.  Things can only get worse for poor little Jimmy in 2018.
  • Joe and Mika will break up – Seriously, who could stand to be together with either one of them for more than a few years?  They’ll keep hosting their show together, but Mika is just bound to wake up some morning soon to the realization that she broke up two marriages to be with a guy who looks just like her Aunt Margaret.
  • The History Channel’s “Search for the Zodiac Killer” will, in its final episode, identify MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell as the famous mass murderer.  No really, I’m betting good money on this one.
  • The guys on Oak Island will finally find something truly significant – But we’ll have to wait through a 4-1/2 minute commercial break to find out what it is.
  • CNN’s ratings will drop below those for HGTV’s new show, “Flip or Flop Ypsilanti” –  Yeah, I know that show doesn’t exist, but given the proliferation of new “Flip or Flop” spinoffs during 2017, it seems inevitable that it will by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
  • The vaunted #MeToo movement will quietly grind to a whimpering halt – This is sad, but it is also inevitable, as America’s leftist establishment comes to realize that it’s mostly their own people getting caught up in it, which is not politically convenient.  Since the left politicizes literally everything, we can expect the climate of sexual abuse in Hollywood, the media and politics to be fully back to business as usual by mid-year.
  • The New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl, yet again – This is mainly because Eagles QB Carson Wentz went down to injury.  Had he remained healthy, the Eagles would have rolled to their first NFL Championship in the modern era.  As it is, the Patriots will easily dispatch the Vikings in Super Bowl whatever-roman-numeral-this-one-happens-to-be.
  • The Houston Astros will win the World Series, again – Hey, after waiting for more than half a century to win their first one, why not win one more over the same Los Angeles Dodgers?
  • White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, who everyone in the fake news media assured us all back in August was miserable in his job and about to resign, will still be happily ensconced in his position a year from now.
  • Ditto Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who everyone in the fake news media has assured us repeatedly over the last six months was on the verge of resigning.  He actually likes his current job, and isn’t going anywhere.
  • The staff at the EPA will shrink by more than 1,000 during 2018 – if you thought the 700 or so who left during 2017 was a big deal, you should understand that it was only just the beginning.  This Administration is deadly serious about getting this heinously abusive agency under control.
  • The Justice Department’s IG Report will seem to be a disappointment when it is issued – As has been promised, the DOJ IG Report of its year-long investigation into potential wrong-doing among senior staff at DOJ and the FBI will be issued in late January/early February.  It will initially be perceived to be a disappointment to those who want to see justice truly done, but will actually become the catalyst for the eventual issuance of indictments against members of the anti-Trump cabal that has been working to overturn a duly-conducted U.S. election.
  • The Fake News Media will suddenly rediscover the “homeless” – Having failed miserably in its efforts to bring down a presidency with its myopic focus on the mythical “Russia Collusion”, the fake news media will go to the next page in its playbook and focus myopically on blaming President Trump for America’s “homeless” problem, which the fake news media studiously ignored throughout the 8 years of Obama.  It’s like clockwork.
  • Despite current polling data, the GOP will retain its majority in the U.S. House, and increase its majority in the Senate – Once those tax cuts kick in, those polling numbers are going to shift dramatically.  The 2018 mid-terms will not be a good time for the party of undending outrage, higher taxes, pussy hats, violent riots, Chelsea Handler and Nancy Pelosi.
  • President Trump will keep handing the fake news media exploding cigars – and the fake news media will keep lighting them up.  This is the safest prediction of all.

The Campaign Update wishes each and every one of you a very safe and Happy New Year!

CNN’s PanelTruckGate Caps The Media’s Week Of Laughably Fake Scandals

  • As previously noted here earlier in the week, it has been such a slow news week that the fake news media has resorted to faking up fake scandals about First Lady Melania Trump ordering a tree to be cut down and President Donald Trump having not held a formal state dinner during his first year in the presidency.
  • Those fake controversies were faked up by the Associated Press, Newsweek and The Hill.  Now, desperate to get in on the news-faking act, the creeps at chronically low-rated CNN, obviously embarrassed at having played the Melania Trump tree cutting story straight, have now spent two solid days inventing their own fake controversy.  Yes, friends, your intrepid fake journalists at the fakest fakety-fake news organization in America have spent the last two days engaged in a very serious investigation into who exactly it was that ordered a big white panel truck to be parked adjacent to President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club, thus blocking the fake news media’s view of Mr. Trump’s golf game on Tuesday.  Oh, the humanity!
  • I swear I don’t make this stuff up – it’s really true.  Literally every hour of CNN’s 24-hour days on Wednesday and Thursday contained at least a report – many actually involved panel discussions with “experts” weighing in with straight faces – on this crucial matter of national security, or something.  CNN’s on-the-scene fake reporter, Noah Gray – who one supposes is on the presidential beat this week because Jim Acosta has run out of adult diapers and didn’t get a new supply as a Christmas gift – has actually been running all over the town of West Palm Beach, trying to identify the nefarious truck in question.
  • Seriously, go read this clown’s Twitter feed – it is a literal timeline of what he has spent his time focusing on this week while supposedly covering the presidential beat.  Tweet after tweet contains updates on the status of his PanelTruckGate investigation, including statements from Secret Service and law enforcement officials.
  • At mid-day on Thursday, Gray even tweeted out a photo of a possible “suspect” – a white panel van sitting in the parking lot of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.  Gray, excited to possibly be closing in on the “deep throat” in this PanelTruckGate scandal, breathlessly notes that it is a “White box truck of same type & similar look seen parked at PBSO department parking lot. It remained there today.”
  • No doubt enraged that the PBSO actually owns a big white panel truck, Gray called the Sheriff’s Office for a comment on this growing controversy.  Not surprisingly, the PBSO denies sending a big white panel truck out to Mar-a-Lago to mess with the White House press corps:

  • But Gray and his bosses at CNN, desperate to keep a fake controversy alive, would not be put off so easily.  When Gray spotted the same truck parked in the exact same parking spot in the PBSO lot the very next day – it obviously had not been moved overnight – he got the PBSO spokesperson on the phone one more time, and then righteously issued this tweet:  “Spox for PBSO Teri Barbera, reiterated to CNN the truck maneuver was not authorized by management of the detail of the Sheriff’s office.”
  • So there you have it:  PanelTruckGate in a nutshell, brought to you by the fake reporters, fake cameramen, fake editors and fake producers at America’s fakest news outlet, CNN.  As of the time I’m writing this early on Friday morning, that is Gray’s most current tweet on the matter.  It remains to be seen if CNN is desperate enough to carry this farce on into a third straight day.
  • The latest ratings show that, in any given hour of the day, somewhere between 400,000 and 800,000 people in this country are tuned into CNN.  That means that roughly 1 out of every 400 people you run into is an avid CNN watcher.  This is a person who spends each day having his or her mind filled with this sort of abject mush.
  • Next time you run into such a person, ask them to tell you exactly what it is they’re thinking about when they consciously tune their TV to that particular channel.  The answer will either be highly entertaining, or the dumbest thing you’ve heard all week.  There are no other possibilities.

Just another day in CNN Remains the Fake News King America.

The Week In Review: All This Winning Never Gets Old

Here is where the never-ending campaign stands two days before Christmas, 2017:

  • New home sales shot up by 17.5% in November, the largest month-over-month gain in 25 years.  Homebuyers didn’t get that Democrat/media-pushed message that the Trump tax cuts were going to kill everyone.
  • The manufacturing growth index kept by the Philadelphia Branch of the Federal Reserve rose 4% in November.  All the “experts” had projected a 1% drop. Manufacturers also failed to get the Democrat/media fake message.  So much for experts.
  • After doing a 25 minute press availability following the signing of his tax bill, President Trump then boarded his helicopter to head out for a Christmas vacation in Florida.  In doing so, he technically skipped the “traditional” year-end press conference.  CNN’s Jim Acosta wet his baby diapers all over Twitter about that, which has also become something of a tradition.  Of course, neither Acosta nor any other member of the Whiny White House press corps ever whined when Barack Obama also skipped this year-end fake “tradition.”  Shocking, I know.
  • Univision Anchorman Jorge Ramos says he is “having the worst time of my life” in the first year of the Trump Administration.  Um, is that a problem?
  • Las Vegas-based Special Agent Aaron Rouse brought even more disgrace on the FBI than it has already suffered the last few months – something no one had thought was even possible at this point – by announcing his agency would not release its findings on September’s Las Vegas massacre until at least a year had passed after the event.  Agent Rouse called that standard operating procedure for his agency.  Most real Americans think of it more as incompetence and outright mendacity.
  • The fake news media refuses to report it, but ISIS has almost been wiped from the face of the earth, thanks to the Trump Administration military engagement policies.  Just another anti-American legacy of Barack Obama being swept away.
  • UN Ambassador Nikki Haley performed a righteous slap-down of the UN General Assembly on Thursday, as reported in yesterday’s Campaign Update.  One result of her tough message to that collection of miscreants, perverts, grifters and thieves came later in the day, as the UN Security Council, including traditional holdouts Russia and China, unanimously approved a set of new sanctions on North Korea.  Leadership matters.
  • The Deep State Cabal within the DOJ/FBI continues to be marginalized and publicly exposed.  This week included two congressional committees exposing FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe during intense questioning.  It also included the reassignment of FBI General Counsel James Baker after it was revealed he has personal ties to ex-Mother Jones Editor David Corn, who was the first fake reporter to publicly use the fake Trump Dossier.
  • Hey!  Somebody even woke up our sleepy Attorney General, Jeff Sessions!  Late in the week, Sessions ordered not one, but two major new DOJ reviews:  1) A review of the Obama DOJ’s fake “investigation” into the Uranium One scandal, and 2) A preliminary review of allegations that high officials in the Obama Administration prevented prosecution of Hezbollah terrorists running drugs into the United States in order to prop up the horrific deal they wanted to make with Iran.  Both reviews are being conducted with an eye towards the possible appointment of a special counsel to fully investigate.
  • And of course, congressional Republicans finally, at long last kept a major promise to the American people, passing a bill that implements the first major reform of the U.S. personal and corporate income tax systems in 30 years.  In immediate reaction, dozens of major U.S. corporations announced the awarding of special bonuses to tens of thousands of workers, and other major new investments in the U.S. economy thanks directly to their new, lower tax rate.
  • Also in direct response, a bunch of NeverTrump losers whined about so many congressional Republicans suddenly figuring out that it’s a good idea to jump onto the Trump Train while they still can.

That, friends, is winning.  So, so, soooooooooooooo much winning!

Just another day in All This Winning Never Gets Old America.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

That is all.

That Time Poor Little Jimmy Was Bullied By Mean Ol’ Sarah

  • Alabama GOP Senate Candidate Roy Moore got his head handed to him Tuesday, losing the vote to Democrat Doug Jones by more than 21,000 votes in the final count.  Despite that margin, Moore, as of this writing early Wednesday morning, is still refusing to concede victory, telling his supporters they need to let God sort this all out.  Um, Judge, to the extent God cared about what happened in your election, he’s probably already done all the sorting he’s planning to do.  Show just a little grace here, like your Bible teaches you to do.
  • The editorial board for USA Today has obviously decided it wants its fading platform to join the grand pantheon of fake news organizations.  After President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) responded to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s call for his resignation with a tweet that says that the Democrat Senator “would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them),” the USA ed board responded with an insane op/ed that accused the President of calling the Senator “a whore.”  No, guys, he called her a politician.  Try to keep up here.
  • The President has quite often made that exact same reference to Democrat politicians – mainly New Yorkers like Chuck Schumer – who, when Trump was a private citizen, used to come to his office and beg for money in return for whatever favors Trump wanted them to do for him.  There is really no mystery at all what the President was saying in that tweet, and, as stellar White House Spokesman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told fake reporter April Ryan at Tuesday’s press briefing, only those with their mind in the gutter would take the tweet to be a sexual reference.  Of course, as we have discovered in the past two months with all the revelations about liberals in politics, entertainment and the fake news media being engaged in rampant sexual abuse at the workplace, having their minds in the gutter is apparently where Democrat politicians and fake reporters live 24 hours a day.
  • Never to be outdone, Senator Fauxcahontas Warren weighed in by issuing a statement accusing the President of “slut-shaming” Senator Gillibrand with his tweet.  This led to the fake Indian from Massachusetts being utterly ridiculed in the social media space by Millennials who understand that being “slut-shamed” means the person who is the target has been engaging in slutty behavior, an accusation to which Sen. Gillibrand just might take offense.  Obviously, Senator Heap Big Running Mouth needs to brush up on her urban slang dictionary before wading into controversies such as this in the future.
  • Speaking of Sarah Huckabee Sanders and fake reporters, the fakest White House Reporter of them all, CNN’s Little Jimmy Acosta, hilariously accused Ms. Sanders of being a mean ol’ bully to him on Tuesday.  When the President came out to make a statement to a limited number of White House reporters at what is called a “pool spray” (wonder if April Ryan thinks that’s some sort of sexual reference, too), Little Jimmy claims Sanders came to him beforehand and warned him that his access to future such “sprays” would be limited if, as is his grandstanding habit, he shouted out a question to the President.  Little Jimmy, who has been desperately trying to get a hosting gig on CNN by making a constant ass of himself at the White House, predictably shouted out his question, then bravely tweeted out “Sorry, Sarah – we will not be intimidated.”
  • Now, none of this would be remotely noteworthy were it not for the reality that reporters are very often told that “sprays” such as this are not open to questions, and that, for the past 8 years, whenever the assembled White House press corps was given that instruction by the Obama spokesman, they wagged their tails and panted like the good little lapdogs they were, and then went out and regurgitated whatever Obama had had to say without further comment.  Little Jimmy was maybe the most obedient lapdog among them, though he had plenty of competition.
  • Let’s also remember that, whenever His Royal Oneness Obama did lower himself to take a few questions from Little Jimmy and his gang, the questions asked by these intrepid fake journalists were things like “How ya doin’ today?”, or “What is the very, very best thing about the job you do?”, or “Why are you just so darn wonderful?”
  • After eight years of that on-the-job failure, for Little Jimmy now to lose all sense of proper decorum at the White House or of his place in the world because the people elected a President he personally hates, and whine about being “bullied” is almost too pathetic for words.  But there, I found them.

Just another day in poor Little Jimmy’s being bullied by mean ol’ Sarah America.

That is all.

Fisking The Fake News Media – Opportunities Abound

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Well, we now know what occupies this clown’s mind. – After the magnificent NRA spokesman Dana Loesch said the organization plans to “fisk” the NYTimes, fake Times reporter Adam Goldman got on Twitter in a panic and wailed that the NRA wanted to sexually assault his newspaper.  Mr. Goldman admitted he thought Ms. Loesch had said “fist”.  The word “fisk” is a new media term for going through the fake media reports line by line and refuting them.  Odd that the Millenial Mr. Goldman is unfamiliar with that word.  But then, he obviously has other things on his mind.
  • Oh, you’re so sweet… Maxine Waters told the harpies on The View that, “when we finish with (impeach) Trump, we have to go and get Putin. He’s next.”  When faced with blank stares from the harpies, she then fumbled around and came up with the name of “Pence” to identify her next target.  This is who the Democrats call a “leader”.  Maybe Dana Loesch should target Maxine and The View with her fisking next.  Hilarity would definitely ensue.
  • Their Ad should read “Jim Acosta Diaper Hamper For Sale”… – Deadline Hollywood reports that AT&T is contemplating selling off CNN once its acquisition of CNN parent company Time Warner is consummated.  Really?  What self-respecting company is going to want to purchase a fake news channel that can’t beat re-runs of “Bewitched” in the ratings?  Of course, Jeff Bezos and Amazon could always buy CNN, since they’re buying everything else.  A CNN/Washington Post merger would be the fake news equivalent of the merger of Exxon and Mobil Oil.
  • Tired of Winning Yet?, Part I – The Trump economy created 209,000 jobs in July, beating estimates for the 6th straight month, and running the total jobs created since Donald Trump took office to more than 1 million.  The fake news media largely ignored the story, with Twitter going so far as to shadow ban positive tweets about the report.  No surprise here – the Democrats and fake news media know that they must keep the public focused on fake scandals in order to kill this presidency.  Reporting positive economic news is just not part of the narrative.
  • Tired of Winning Yet?, Part II – The Dow gained more than 70 points on Friday, marking the 8th straight day it has closed at a record high.  Given that the Dow has traditionally been a leading indicator of future economic growth, the Democrats and their fake journalist propaganda agents are going to have a great big pile of good economic news to try to ignore in the coming months.
  • Speaking of the Fake News Media, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Friday that he is finally getting serious about identifying and prosecuting intelligence agency and White House employees responsible for the incessant leaking to major fake media outlets.  As part of that campaign to get serious, Mr. Sessions said he is considering issuing subpoenas to offending fake journalists and fake media outlets who rush to print or air classified information. “We respect the role that the press plays and will give them respect, but it is not unlimited. They cannot place lives at risk with impunity.”  Sure is nice to think that someone is finally going to attempt to enforce some accountability on fake journalists who abuse their privileges, but only time will tell if Mr. Sessions is truly serious here.  Hey, maybe Dana Loesch can help – she’s already got the NYTimes trembling at the knees.
  • This really isn’t rocket scienceThe UK Daily Mail reports that investigators are considering the use of lie detector tests as a tool to ID the leakers.  Here’s a suggestion:  apply the first two lie detectors to Susan Rice’s bestest buddy H.R. McMaster and Obama loyalist Hope Hicks, who somehow remains employed in the White House communications department, and see if the leaks from the West Wing don’t dry up completely over night.  I’ll even give you odds.

Just another day in all fake news, all the time America.

That is all.

All Fake News, All The Time: This Is CNN

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Jim Acosta voids his bladder at yet another White House Press Briefing, hilarity ensues. –  The Fake News Network’s petulant and preening Jim Acosta provided yet another prime example of why he and CNN should be banned from future White House press briefings yesterday.  As Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller was discussing the details of the Raise Act, a piece of legislation that would modify the terms of legal immigration into the U.S., Acosta, without being called upon, constantly interrupted the speaker and engaged him in a debate in which he implied that the poem on the Statue of Liberty is the law of the land, and claimed that implementing a preference for English-speaking immigrants would limit legal immigration to “those from Britain and Australia.”  Acosta wasn’t even fazed when Miller correctly point out that English is the main language spoken in more than 60 nations around the world, and that the poem has no legal gravitas.  Naturally, Acosta appeared on CNN after the press conference and declared victory.  No one else gave him that credit.
  • Their next study will prove Donald Trump has poopy pants. – The Center For American Progress (CAP) announced on Wednesday that it will issue a report today that proves – PROVES, I say – that the Trump Campaign “colluded” with the Russians to interfere with the U.S. election process in 2016.  Fake news outlets Buzzfeed and The Hill reported on the announcement, identifying CAP only as “a progressive think tank.”  What neither of those two fake outlets tell their readers is that CAP was in fact founded by… wait for it…JOHN PODESTA, the goat-sacrificing campaign manager for Hillary Clinton, and that Mr. Podesta remains active in the group’s leadership today.  Fake News at its finest.
  • That make perfect sense, since he’s a been Democrat in practice since at least 2001. – Qunnipiac released a poll on Wednesday that finds that the public approval rating for Senator From the News Media John McCain is 35% higher among his natural Democrat base than it is among Republicans.  What else is there to say about that?
  • Speaking of the title of Senator From the News Media, the junior Senator from Arizona, Jeff Flake, is obviously seeking to succeed his fellow Arizonan in that role.  Flake, a fervent adherent to the idiotic #NeverTrump crowd, has been all over the fake news media this week, shamelessly hawking his new anti-Trump book titled “Conscience of a Conservative.”  Given the book’s copy-cat title, it was perhaps inevitable that Brent Bozell, Jr., the son of the man who was Barry Goldwater’s ghost writer of the huge 1964 best-seller of the same name, would strenuously object to the use of that same title for a book written by a Senator who has a very mixed record of conservatism at best.  “Jeff Flake is not a conservative, nor does he have a conscience,” Mr. Bozell told anyone who would listen.  All of which leads to the inevitable question:  What do the voters in Arizona think about when they go to the polls?  Really, are these two guys the best the state has to offer?  Sad!
  • Hey, it’s not just the media that’s fake – the temperature record is fake, too. – The great James Delingpole reports that Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology has been caught red-handed faking that country’s temperature records in an effort to “prove” the existence of global warming.  The BOM has been systematically erasing record low temperatures, or simply entering them into the record at higher readings than their thermometers actually showed.  The BOM has good company in this endeavor:  Here in the U.S., NASA and NOAA have been systematically “revising” the global temperature records they keep upwards since at least 2010, in an effort to justify the Obama regime’s heavy-handed regulatory actions.  The difference between the two countries is that the Australian news media has actually shamed the people at BOM into going about correcting their defrauded records, while the U.S. fake news media has studiously ignored the scandal.  Because that’s what progressive Democrats with press passes do.

Just another day in Fake News Media America.

That is all.

CNN is Having a Bad Week; The Trump Administration Should Make it Worse

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Two fake reporters and a fake editor resigned from CNN on Monday amid the fallout from the #fakenews network’s having to retract and apologize for yet another fake story on what it likes to call “RussiaGate”.  Interestingly, one of the fake reporters, a guy named Eric Lichtbau, had recently come to CNN from the equally fake NYTimes.  Apparently, infesting the already fake CNN with the “standards” of the NYTimes only served to compound fakery on top of fakery.  But don’t worry about CNN – journalism schools turn out thousands of great fake journalists every semester, so they’ll be able to just plug three more news fakers in and keep their fake news operation running like a finely-tuned fake machine.
  • In case you hadn’t noticed (and most normal Americans haven’t), the White House has taken to holding most of its press briefings off-camera in recent weeks.  This has set CNN’s prissy White House fake reporter, Jim Acosta, off on a series of on-air rants with several of CNN’s fake news hosts.  Over the past week, Mr. Acosta has called White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer “worthless”, accused the White House of suppressing the news, and of “black-balling” him and his fake news network.  Yesterday, after he had repeatedly heckled Spicer during the daily press briefing, Acosta found his seat moved to the back row at President Trump’s even with the Prime Minister of India later in the day.
  • All of this brings to my mind the question of why the White House continues to allow Mr. Acosta and his fellow fake journalists at CNN access to the White House at all?  In the wake of the recent Harvard study that found that CNN’s fake reporting on the Trump Administration is 93% hostile, it is more blatantly obvious than ever that Mr. Acosta and his CNN colleagues are nothing more than Democrat operatives with press credentials.  CNN is, after all, the same network that fed debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance during the campaign.  If you are going to allow CNN to ask questions at daily press briefings, you might as well invite the DNC over to do the same.
  • I’ve written this before, but it bears repeating:  The President of the United States and his press people have an obligation to tell the truth to the American people, and keep them informed on what the Administration is doing.  It is up to the Administration to decide how it will meet this obligation.  No POTUS has any obligation whatsoever to legitimize any specific news outlet by granting it press credentials and access to the White House.  When any news outlet makes a conscious decision to abandon all journalistic ethics and become nothing more than a propaganda arm for the opposition political party – which is exactly what CNN has done – then the POTUS has no reason or obligation to allow it continued access to the White House or any executive branch department of the government.
  • CNN, the major TV networks, the NYTimes and the WaPo all continue to engage in their anti-journalistic practices for the simple reason that, to this point in time, they have had no accountability or consequences for doing so.  The Trump Administration could change all of that by revoking the press passes of Mr. Acosta and everyone else from CNN, as Newt Gingrich has been advocating it do in recent weeks.  It is long past time for these bad actors to face some consequences for their bad acts.
  • Tired of winning yet? – Meanwhile, in a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court allowed most of the Trump Administration’s long-proposed travel ban on seven Muslim terrorist-supporting nations (as identified by the Obama Administration) to go into effect.  In allowing the ban to go into effect, the 9 justices first had to conclude that, when they formally hear the case in the Fall, the Administration is very likely to prevail on the constitutional issue at hand, i.e., whether the current POTUS has the express authority to limit immigration any way he sees fit, as every other POTUS has had.  If you marvel that there is even any question about this power, understand that it is only a question in the perverted minds of the Obama-appointed federal judges whose anti-constitutional lower court decisions in this case couldn’t even pass the laugh tests of the likes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.
  • The hilarious part about all of this is that the Administration’s proposed “ban” is really a proposal for a 90-day “pause” in immigration from the countries in question, and more than 180 days have now passed since it was initially proposed.  In addition, more than 90 days will pass before the Supreme Court will even hear oral arguments in the case, since the Court does not reconvene until October.  Thus, by the time the constitutional vagaries in this case have been fully adjudicated, the point will be moot. Welcome to the wonderful world of American jurisprudence.

John McCain Puts the R-I-N-O in RINO

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • He puts the R-I-N-O in RINO.:  In news you won’t see in the fake mainstream media, the Daily Caller reports that John McCain’s foundation – which he created out of $9 million in un-spent campaign funds from his failed, half-hearted presidential run in 2008 – is taking gobs of money from the likes of George Soros, former Clinton bag-man Doug Band, and Teneo, a group that shops both Clintons around for lucrative “speaking” engagements.   McCain’s status as the Senator From the News Media insulates him from any fears that these grimy connections will be revealed to the audiences of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, the WaPo or the NYTimes.
  • Voter fraud?  What voter fraud?:  A new report from the New Jersey-based research group Just Facts finds that as many as 5.7 million illegal votes were cast in the 2008 election that elevated Barack Obama to the presidency.  Given that Mr. Obama actively encouraged illegal aliens to vote in U.S. elections throughout his political career, this finding should come as no surprise.  The study also found that as many as 3.6 million illegal votes were cast during the 2012 presidential election, in which Mr. Obama was re-elected.  We can count on the fake mainstream news media to uniformly embargo any reporting on this study, since it reflects negatively on their idol.
  • Speaking of the fake news media, reporters covering today’s election for the House District 6 seat in Georgia whined yesterday that they were not allowed into events held by both candidates in the race.  We can file this one under Fake Media Problems No Normal Person Cares About.
  • And speaking of whining reporter problems, CNN’s Jim Acosta whined most of day on air yesterday about how mean ol’ Sean Spicer isn’t doing a televised press briefing every day, and isn’t any longer willing to answer the same question posed to him 12 times by 12 different fake reporters during the off-camera briefings he has been providing.  Mr. Acosta appears to believe that the White House is his personal playground, and that fake reporters who are nothing more than agents for the opposition party have a constitutional right to wander the halls there all day long.  Frankly, given the hyper-partisan behavior by CNN in particular, and most other fake news media outlets, I find it absurd that any of them are still allowed into the White House and presidential events at this point.  When you choose to behave like an enemy of the state, you need to be treated as an enemy of the state.
  • Tired of winning yet?  Part I:  Megyn Kelly’s much-hyped interview with conspiracy theorist radio personality Alex Jones finished a distant third in its time slot Sunday evening, behind “60 Minutes” and a re-run of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”  At this point it is looking like Ms. Kelly might have a very bright future hosting some future TV talent show.  She’s just not cut out for her current gig, and as NBC is painfully finding out, the public just doesn’t consider her to be much of a big deal at all.
  • Tired of winning yet?  Part II:  EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt announced yesterday that he was cutting of funding for gym memberships for senior EPA officials, because the program – implemented, of course, during the Obama years – was costing the taxpayers $1 million per year.  Proving that this administration firmly believes that the only thing worse than an EPA bureaucrat is a healthy EPA bureaucrat.
