Sebastian Gorka is Gone, But the Trump Agenda Rolls Along

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Deputy National Security Advisor Sebastian Gorka resigned late Friday, leaving behind a plaintive, drama-filled letter of resignation.  The letter is fairly long, but this passage neatly encapsulates its sentiments: “[G]iven recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are – for now – ascendant within the White House.  As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House.” So, Dr. Gorka is the latest of the original set of Trump advisors to be forced out of the White House by Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster.  But don’t worry about the good doctor:  in its own report on the resignation, Breitbart notes that it is currently negotiating a deal to bring him on staff as a commentator.  He won’t be going hungry anytime soon.
  • Don’t get me wrong here – I like Dr. Gorka and have always found him to be an astute analyst of the problem of Islamic terrorism.  As such, I’d much rather have him in the White House than outside of it.  But President Trump has made his choices for who his senior advisors will be, and has clearly gone with the Generals.  These generals serve at the pleasure of the President, so if Mr. Trump were unhappy with the many staff changes that have taken place since General Kelly assumed his new position, he’d have full power to stop them.  That that hasn’t happened tells us all we need to know.
  • Mr. Gorka’s letter also contains the following ominous sentence:  “The fact that those who drafted and approved the speech [on the situation in Afghanistan] removed any mention of Radical Islam or radical Islamic terrorism proves that a crucial element of your presidential campaign has been lost.”  This is nonsense, a sentence Mr. Gorka no doubt drafted in a fit of pique.  The fact that the speech did not include the utterance of either of those phrases does not at all mean that the President has lost focus on eradicating ISIS, Al Qaeda and the Taliban, or on punishing nations like Pakistan that harbor those and other Islamic terrorist groups.  The U.S. military campaign to eradicate ISIS continues to produce excellent results, and the President, in his speech, gave his generals explicit authority to step up the campaign on Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
  • Indeed, despite the exit in recent weeks of several “Trump loyalists” (as the fake media describes them) during August, there is no noticeable corresponding let-up in the Trump agenda.  This week we have seen the President pardon Sheriff Joe Arpaio, reversing a kangaroo court ruling by an outlaw left wing judge; threaten to shut down the government if he doesn’t get funding for the border wall; order General James Mattis to indefinitely suspend recruitment of trans-genders into the military forces; and prepare paperwork necessary to end DACA, yet another Obama-era open borders program.
  • Those are just the high-profile items that the fake news media has made a big deal of.  There continue to be dozens of administration initiatives taking place under the radar to reorganize inefficient bureaucracies, rescind or rewrite horrible Obama-era regulations – like EPA’s heinous “Waters of the U.S.” power grab – and fire or isolate disloyal apparatchiks at various agencies.
  • This has been the story of the Trump Administration for seven months now:  While the fake news media focuses on sensational stories like Russia Collusion, Charlottesville riots and Civil War statue removals, the Administration’s senior leadership continues to execute revolutionary changes in the way the government functions while flying underneath the media radar.
  • So don’t worry about Sebastian Gorka.  He’ll be just fine.  Like Steve Bannon, he may well be a more effective advocate for Trump policies at Breitbart than from within the White House, as his own letter states.  Meanwhile, the Trump agenda continues to move forward.  Hey, maybe these generals are “Trump loyalists”, too.  Just a thought.

Just another day in White House revolving door America.

That is all.

Trump’s Warsaw Speech Shows Why The Radical Left’s Rage Won’t Get Better

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Quite often over the last eight months, I’ve been asked this question by friends and contacts disturbed by the increasingly radical and violent reaction by those on the American political left to the election and presidency of Donald Trump:  “When does this get better?  When does it calm down?”

My answer has been consistent:  “It doesn’t as long as Donald Trump is President.”

One great way to understand why it doesn’t, why the left – led by the ongoing tacit approval of every leader of the national Democrat Party – will only continue to become more radical and violent during the four or eight years of the Trump presidency, one need only read this passage from the President’s speech in Warsaw last week:

Finally, on both sides of the Atlantic, our citizens are confronted by yet another danger — one firmly within our control. This danger is invisible to some but familiar to the Poles: the steady creep of government bureaucracy that drains the vitality and wealth of the people. The West became great not because of paperwork and regulations but because people were allowed to chase their dreams and pursue their destinies.

Americans, Poles, and the nations of Europe value individual freedom and sovereignty. We must work together to confront forces, whether they come from inside or out, from the South or the East, that threaten over time to undermine these values and to erase the bonds of culture, faith and tradition that make us who we are.  If left unchecked, these forces will undermine our courage, sap our spirit, and weaken our will to defend ourselves and our societies.

But just as our adversaries and enemies of the past learned here in Poland, we know that these forces, too, are doomed to fail if we want them to fail. And we do, indeed, want them to fail. They are doomed not only because our alliance is strong, our countries are resilient, and our power is unmatched. Through all of that, you have to say everything is true. Our adversaries, however, are doomed because we will never forget who we are. And if we don’t forget who are, we just can’t be beaten. Americans will never forget.  The nations of Europe will never forget.

This passage encapsulates the core beliefs of the Trump Presidency:  that America is a great nation, that the culture that made it great will ultimately prevail, that borders and nationalities are important, that free people pursuing their dreams are what make America and other Western democracies great, that faceless bureaucrats piling burden atop burden on the people are an inhibitor to greatness, that forces who work to erase our values and change our culture are the greatest threat to our survival.  These are the core beliefs of a man and his supporters who truly love America, beliefs that are complete anathema to everyone who has succumbed to leftist doctrine.

The people who populate today’s radical left are by and large people under the age of 40 who bought into the neo-marxist, Alinskyite view of American history that has been taught on most college campuses since the early 1980s, and by craven Democrat politicians – like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the Fake Indian Senator from Massachusetts – who seek to benefit politically by supporting their efforts.  In this view, America is the world’s Original Sin, the cause of all problems in the third world, an inherently racist, homophobic, Islamaphobic and every other kind of -phobic they can come up with society, and because of this, Americans do not deserve the prosperity and freedoms we have enjoyed.  Thus, that prosperity must be redistributed to the rest of the world via international scams like the Paris Climate Accords and major multi-lateral trade agreements, and those freedoms systematically diminished by the constant overlay of new, increasingly intrusive regulations from the federal government.

If you’re thinking, hey, that’s what we got from the Obama Administration, well, you’re catching on here.

It’s also what we would have gotten more and more and more from a Hillary Clinton presidency.  This, at its core, is why you have seen this never-ending outrage, this increasingly violent response from the American left, and it is why you will never see any Democrat national leader condemn the increasingly outrageous and violent acts against our society perpetrated by groups like Antifa.  We have to understand that such groups are largely created, organized and funded by George Soros and others who also fund the Democrat Party.   They are all interrelated, all funded and directed by the same people.

Prior to November 8, 2016, these people believed they had everything set up for the ultimate destruction of American culture and the socialization of American democracy.  Barack Obama had kept his 2008 promise to work to “fundamentally transform this nation,” and believed he had everything set in place for his designated successor, Hillary Clinton, to finish the job.  The bureaucracies were firmly in place and constantly growing; the justice department, state department, EPA and intelligence agencies had all been completely corrupted; the federal judiciary had been filled with radical judges who view the Constitution as a minor inconvenience, and the national news media was populated almost entirely by true believers who work hard every day to brainwash the public.  Even better, the borders were wide open, with potential future Democrat voter blocs pouring into the country every day.

It was all there.  Those on the radical left had come so close to their goal that they could taste it.  All that remained was to count the votes, anoint the new leftist strong woman, and complete the job.  Four years of Hillary might get it done; eight years certainly would.

But the vote did not go their way, and the winner was a man who symbolizes everything they hate:  success, wealth, love of country, support for the culture and way of life that made America a great nation to begin with.  It wasn’t just that a Republican had won, it was that the wrong kind of Republican had won:  a Republican who had no fear of them or their propaganda agents in the national news media; a Republican who promised to aggressively go about reversing every policy implemented during the last eight years, and has already made great progress in doing so; a Republican who promised to work to take America out of the international redistributionist scams entered into by Obama, and has already done so; a Republican who promised to replace the feckless Obama policy of “leading from behind” with the renewal of real American leadership in international relations, and has already done so.  They could have lived with another Republican president who feared the fake news media and whose policies were just slower versions of Democrat priorities; they can’t live with Donald Trump, just as they never really could live with Ronald Reagan.

Thus, this is not going to get better as long as Donald Trump remains the President of the United States.  The outrage won’t end – it will only grow stronger.  The invention of phony scandals will not end – they will just constantly shift and grow increasingly absurd.  The constant assassination dog-whistling in the fake news media will only grow more overt and intense.  The radical American left is no different than ISIS:  it cannot be appeased, it cannot be contained, it cannot be negotiated with.  It fundamentally cannot be reasoned with via truth and facts because it fundamentally rejects reason, truth and facts.  It must be defeated, again and again and again, by Americans of good will who want our nation to remain free.  Ultimately, it must be destroyed.

Make no mistake about it:  If the radical left in this country is not ultimately destroyed, it will ultimately destroy America as we know it.  This is the reality in which we live.  These are very, very perilous times.

That is all.

Illinois is the Obamacare of U.S. States

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • If you like your lotto, you can keep your lotto!:  The company that runs the multi-state MegaMillions and Powerball lotteries announced that it was pulling out of the state of Illinois.  Why?  Because the state is teetering on the precipice of having to declare bankruptcy after a century of almost uninterrupted rule by a corrupt Democrat machine, and can no longer be relied upon to actually pay lotto winners.  Can it really be any coincidence at all that the home state of Barack Obama has now become the Obamacare of U.S. States, rapidly collapsing as service providers refuse to participate?  Nah, I don’t believe in coincidences.
  • All the Fake News Fit to Print:  The NYTimes published an op/ed written by a couple of liberals with no historical perspective titled “How We Became Bitter Political Enemies.”  The piece cites all sorts of polls, studies and obligatory quotes from other liberals in an utterly failed attempt to rationalize the leftwing violence against Trump supporters and GOP office holders that Democrats and the news media are egging on all over America.  The truth about the root cause of all of this is this:  In 1992, voters made the awful choice of electing the Clintons to occupy the White House.  The Clintons spent the next eight years governing on the principles of Hillary’s hero Saul Alinsky, which are based largely on demonizing their opposition instead of attempting to hold rational policy debates, and transformed the Democrat Party into an entity that believes that the ends justify the means.  So it should surprise no one that none of their liberal friends are willing or even capable of engaging in a logical debate on any issue.  And it should surprise no one that today’s Democrat officeholders not only steadfastly refuse to condemn the growing number of daily violent acts of their support base, they actively encourage it.  Because they believe those are the means that will accomplish their ends of regaining political power.  This really is very simple – I could’ve saved the fake NYTimes editors about 600 words of space in their worthless rag this morning, and their readers would have actually gotten the truth.
  • Unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick was quoted as comparing the nation’s police to “modern day slave-catchers.”  Man, it sure is baffling that no NFL team wants to sign this guy.  Right?  I mean, isn’t it?  whew.
  • And serial killers are the true saints, and sharks are the true house cats.:  The fake editors at the Huffington Post published an opinion piece titled “Muslims are the True Feminists.”  That might come as a surprise to the families of the 19 Yazidi girls who were burned to death in metal cages by ISIS on June 10 for refusing to have sex with its soldiers.  Or to all the Saudi women who aren’t allowed to have driver’s licenses.  Or to the hundreds of Muslim girls in the U.S. who have been forcibly genitally mutilated on the edict of their faith in recent years.  But hey, maybe this is what feminism represents in America these days – who am I to say?

Just another day in lunatic fake news media America.

That is all.

On Jared Kushner, Whose Anonymous Sources Are We To Believe?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Anonymous sources everywhere, but never a one to believe.:  Fox News reports this morning that an anonymous source “familiar with the situation” has told their reporter that Jared Kushner did not in fact raise the idea of opening a back channel of communication with Russian officials last December, contrary to all the fake reports all over the fake news media the last few days, reports that were also based solely on anonymous sources.  The subject was, according to Fox’s anonymous source, actually broached by Russian officials, and would have resulted in a single telephone conversation regarding the Obama Administration’s atrocious, utter failure of a Syria policy, not a permanent back channel, as the NYTimes and WaPo have claimed.  So whose anonymous source is to be believed – the ones that resulted in the Weekly World News-like, sensationalist reports in the Times and Post, or the one that results in what sounds like a far more likely scenario at Fox News?  In today’s America, the lines of belief will no doubt break down largely along partisan lines.
  • Today’s Required Reading.:  Kurt Schlichter pens a fantastic piece at Townhall.com titled, “Liberals Are Shocked To Find We’re Starting To Hate Them Right Back.”  Seriously, just read it.  You’ll be glad you did.
  • That’s the way it has always been for communists in America.:  In a rare bit of real news at its site,  Politico has a report out about how tough it is for Bernie Sanders supporters these days, as it seems that his supporters are finding it darn near impossible to capture actual levers of power, even within the commie-friendly confines of the Democrat Party.  Gosh, I just feel so, so bad for these people, victims as they are of their own brand of nitwittery.
  • Still prosecuting the last war after all these years…:  Terry Frei, a sports reporter for the Denver Post, was fired within two hours of the end of the Indy 500, after he tweeted that he is “uncomfortable” that a Japanese driver had won the race on Memorial Day.  Some will moan about the Post’s cow-towing to the Gods of political correctness, but dang, man, World War II ended 72 years ago. Can’t we all just get along at long last?  Holy cow.
  • But hey, WWIII could be just around the corner, if John McCain gets his way.:  The Senator From The News Media, in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Company, said that “[Vladimir] Putin is a bigger threat than ISIS.”  The tirelessly warmongering Senator was unfortunately not asked by the interviewer where he would place himself in that same ranking, but most informed observers would put him way up there.
  • That escalated quickly.:  When Texas Republican state representative Matt Rinaldi called ICE after he was threatened by some in a very large and loud group of pro-sanctuary city protesters who had gathered in the state capitol building while the legislature was in session, Democratic state rep. Pancho Navarez threatened to kill him.  This is what the Democrat Party of today refers to as peaceful debate of the issues.
  • Meanwhile, in the realm of winning…:  While the Democrats and the fake news media continue their tireless efforts to distract the American people from reality, the Trump Administration keeps on winning, systematically erasing huge chunks of the Obama “legacy”, such as it is.  This includes progress on building the promised wall along the southern border, where, as the DC Examiner reports, planning is well underway, contracts are being bid out, and there is, despite fake media reports to the contrary, plenty of money in the budget to start construction.

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 4.21.2017

  • Who you gonna believe, us or your lyin’ eyes?:  There was another Islamic terrorist attack in Paris for which ISIS has taken credit, and everyone in authority and in the fake media in that country and in America is doing everything they can to pretend it has nothing to do with Islamic terrorism.  Who could’ve ever seen that coming?
  • Hey, whatever happened to that Jill Stein?  Isn’t she a pistol?:  Turns out that the insufferable Ms. Stein and her Green Party are now coordinating efforts with the Council on American and Islamic Relations (CAIR) to “fight Islamophobia”.  CAIR, of course, has long served as an apologist group for Islamic terrorists and is known to have many ties to terrorist organizations.  Hey, maybe ol’ Jill can get her new friends to demand a recount of the number of their ISIS buddies were killed by that MOAB we dropped Afghanistan last week.  That’d be great.
  • Speaking of prominent radical Islamists…:  Keith Ellison, the Islamist Vice Chairman of the Democrat National Committee, told an audience on Thursday that his Party would be in far better shape if Barack Obama hadn’t been such a bad Party leader.  That is absolutely true, and everyone should appreciate such a rare moment of abject honesty coming from any Democrat leader.
  • Here at the DNC, we are unified in our separate-ness.:  Speaking of the DNC, Chairman Tom Perez, the DNC’s serial-cussing Chairman, and Commie Senator Bernie Sanders kicked off their “Democratic Party Unity Tour” this week, with the stated goal of unifying the Democrats behind a far-leftists agenda and turning it into “a 50-state party”.  Because, you know, right now it’s about a 12-state party at best.  The problem is, in his first interview on the tour, the Commie Senator told the interviewer that he is “not a Democrat”, which kind of puts the lie to the whole deal, doesn’t it?
  • You know he’s lying because he still has a job at CNN.:  CNN fake journalist Jake Tapper, who drank the Obama Kool-aid for 8 long years, told an interviewer that too many in his profession were “too friendly” to Mr. Obama, and “drank the Kool-aid.”  In his next breath, the putz claimed that he was “very tough” on Obama.  No word if Mr. Tapper also thinks Harry Potter is, like, a real person.
  • Tired of winning yet?  Part I:  The Labor Department reports that continuing jobless claims fell below the 2 million mark in April for just the second time since 2017, a 17 year low.  Democrats and fake journalists across the country hate this news with a passion, trust me.
  • Tired of winning yet?  Part II:  The American Action Forum reports that the actions taken by President Donald Trump to rescind Obama-era regulations in just his first 85 days in office have already saved the American people more than $86 billion, a pace of more than a billion dollars every day.  Elections matter.
  • God Bless Texas.:  Today is San Jacinto Day, the 181st anniversary of the 18-minute battle that won Texas’s independence from Mexico.  If you’re a Texan, take a minute out of your day to remember the brave individuals whose actions led to all that this great state gives you today.  If you’re an American, you should also take a moment to reflect on these events, because the Battle of San Jacinto was not just a great day for Texas, it was a great day for America as well.

Just another day in God Blessed America.

That is all.
