When Leftists Become Self-Aware, We’ll Be All Out of Leftists

  • Daily Wire reports that a young lady named Maria Ana Carrola Flores, a student at UC San Diego, is suing the school for allowing her to do stupid things.  No, I didn’t make that up.  It seems Ms. Flores participated in an anti-Trump rally the day after Election Day 2016 (because she and her fellow snowflake students didn’t get their way and mommy wasn’t around for them to whine to), and was hit by a car when several of them tried to block a nearby freeway.  We should all hope she actually wins this lawsuit.
  • No, really, stay with me here.  See, the grounds for Ms. Flores’ lawsuit are that the school knew about the protest, approved of it, and did not provide proper security to the situation, or appropriate instructions to the functional moron students that the school has been brainwashing.  Seems no one in a position of authority told these losers in life that it’s sort of dangerous to go up on the freeway and block traffic.
  • So, why do we hope Ms. Flores prevails?  Because of that first part – the school knew about this protest and supported it.  If a school is going to know about and support stupid protest actions like this by its students, then it needs to be liable for their consequences.  A big payout might help to bring a real sense of self-awareness to the school’s leadership.  So, you go, you little dimwitted snowflake, you.
  • Speaking of lack of self-awareness, Oprah Winfrey, of whom there are literally hundreds of photos paling around with Harvey Weinstein floating around the Internet, has now become the face of the dying #Metoo movement against sexual assault.  So much so, that all the fake sympathizers against Hollywood’s systematic abuse of women want her to run for president in 2020.  Ms. Winfrey’s stirring speech at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony took TinselTown’s slow learners by storm, but now she must find a way to deal with the reality that she undoubtedly knew what Harvey was up to all these years, during which she was one of his closest buddies.
  • Winfrey claims to be “considering” actually making a presidential run, but that bold statement may be more due to a typical leftist lack of self-awareness than anything else.  The facade of politics is a completely different false reality than the facade of Hollywood that Oprah has always been a part of. You have to wonder how many days of her reputation being dragged through the lens of her reality she will really be willing to endure.  Breathless liberals spent all day Monday saying that “if Trump did it, Oprah can do it,” but Trump doesn’t give a damn what the media and his opponents say about him.  Oprah cares about that, a really, really lot.
  • Personally, I hope she does run, just so we can all see the looks on the faces of Senators Fauxcahontas, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders and former VP Joe Biden the first time they have to face her on a debate stage.  That would be priceless.  And let’s face it, the Democrats are going to run some leftist hypocrite for the presidency in 2020;  there is no more perfect face for the Democrat Party than a leftist hypocrite who was best pals with the monster Harvey Weinstein for going on 20 years.
  • The NAACP, apparently upset that Donald Trump’s unleashing of the U.S. economy has resulted in the lowest Black unemployment rate in history, issued a statement on Monday urging all African-Americans attending Monday night’s College Football National Championship Game to protest the attendance of President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) by waving white towels at him.  Apparently, no one told the folks at the NAACP that waving a white towel or flag is the traditional sign of surrender.  In any event, no white towels could be seen as the President made his way onto the field for the pre-game ceremonies.  Probably because any African Americans who could afford to attend that game have jobs, no thanks to anyone at the NAACP.
  • The President in fact received a rousing standing ovation as he entered Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium prior to the game.  Leftists everywhere today will condemn Mr. Trump for failing to kneel as the National Anthem was played, as has become the left’s new tradition.  CNN is no doubt searching for a cardiologist who will claim that Trump’s holding his hand over his heart is a sure sign of impending heart failure, and thus, the 25th Amendment must be invoked to save the country, or something.  You probably think that’s ridiculous, but this is CNN we’re talking about here.  It would be far from the most absurd thing they’ve put on the air about Donald Trump.  Amirite?
  • When you think about it, it’s really kind of extraordinary that the NCAA and ESPN folks approved a pre-game role for President Trump that was such an obvious, direct shot at the National Football League and its ongoing player protests of the National Anthem.  No idea who made that call, but whomever it is, you da man!
  • When the people at ESPN asked President Trump to visit the broadcast booth for an interview with the game announcers, the President declined.  Because, why would President Trump to grant an interview with the “sports” network whose on-air personalities have been bashing him with impunity for the last two years?  ESPN displayed an extraordinary lack of self-awareness for even asking, but then, that’s what progressive idiots do.

Just another day in unself-aware leftists America.

That is all.

Donald Trump Persists

  • The Golden Globe Awards were held last night, and Oprah was apparently elected president.  At least, that’s what NBC’s official Twitter feed appeared to indicate early in the evening.  So it must be official, or something.
  • I didn’t watch the Golden Globes, which I know comes as a gigantic shock to all of you, but I do watch Twitter, and on that platform I see that Oprah told the assembled Hollywood phonies that “There is nothing more important than speaking your truth.”  Note to President Oprah:  There is no such thing as “your” truth.  There is truth, and there is not truth.  There is nothing in between.  Giving that kind of advice to a bunch of mental midgets who already live in a completely faked-up world is like feeding crack to a street addict.  Shame on you.
  • In keeping with the evening’s “we’re all gonna wear black to show solidarity with somebody or something…hey, are you gonna keep your gift bag?  Can I have it?” theme, Actress Connie Britton wore a black skirt along with a cotton t-shirt that said “Poverty is Sexist.”  It would have been more accurate had it said, “I am really vapid and sort of stupid.”
  • Speaking of people living in a fantasy world, noted fiction writer Michael Wolff, who is in the running with Scut Farkus for the Greenest Teeth on the Planet award (if only he had yellow eyes, too), is experiencing a moment of gigantic hubris, which was predictable given all the free media he’s had over the last week.  In an interview with the BBC, Wolff told the fake interviewer that his book “will finally end this presidency once and for all.”  This is me, sighing heavily:  *sigh*.
  • In other words, Wolff believes his book – which he himself admits is at best a highly fictionalized portrayal of reality – is the “beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  One can only wonder if this turd of a human being has any idea how many times over the last 2 years and 8 months the American public has heard those words uttered by some leftwing fool, pontificating pundit or fake conservative #neverTrump nitwit.  That phrase is without any doubt the most frequently-uttered empty promise in recent history, on a par with “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan,” or “I turned over all the emails I was required to turn over,” or “I did not have sex with that woman.”
  • It began even before Donald Trump announced his candidacy.  As he and Melania came down that escalator in the lobby of Trump Tower to make the announcement, talking heads on Fox and CNN were already predicting the end to his presidential run.
  • When his unorthodox performance in the first primary debate with 11 of his 16 GOP opponents caused such an uproar, Charles Krauthammer and many other makers of the DC conventional wisdom declared with absolute certainty that it was “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  And yet he persisted.
  • Megyn Kelly’s opening the second primary debate with her very aggressive questioning about his history with women was “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  And yet he carried on.
  • Trump’s loss to Ted Cruz in the Iowa Caucuses was declared by everyone on every cable and network news program to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  A few days later, he won New Hampshire in a landslide.
  • His loss to Cruz in the Wisconsin primary was supposed to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  Trump then went out and swept the next 16 consecutive primary races and easily secured the nomination.
  • The release of the Billy Bush tape was going to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump,” yet he somehow soldiered on.
  • His poor performance in the first debate with Hillary Clinton was declared with great finality by everyone in the fake news media to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  But he won the next two debates and ultimately won the election.
  • The firing of corrupt FBI Director James Comey was going to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump,” but still, Trump persisted.
  • The appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate allegations of collusion with Russia was certainly going to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump,” yet 10 months later there is no evidence of any such collusion, and Mueller is off casting about for other angles of investigation.
  • The indictments of Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos were declared to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  But there he still sits in the White House.
  • We’ve seen, at a minimum, two dozen stories published over the last year by the NYTimes or the WaPo, based on nothing but unidentified sources, all of which have been declared by all the smart people in Washington to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”
  • Yet, Donald Trump remains, tweeting early in the morning to set the fake news media off on its daily rabbit trails of hysteria and false reporting, then spending the remainder of each day systematically erasing the horrific, anti-American legacy of Barack Obama.
  • If the treasury had collected a dollar from every wise man, fake reporter or fake talking head in Washington every time they had declared “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump” over the last 32 months, we’d be halfway to retiring the national debt.

Just another day in Donald Trump Persists America.

That is all.

Steve Bannon Is Now At War With Everyone – Except Roy Moore

  • Hollywood fraud Meryl Streep still can’t bring herself to talk about what she knew and when she knew it when it comes to her “god,” Harvey Weinstein, but she damn sure can go back 39 years take a shot at Dustin Hoffman for a slap in a scene from Kramer vs. Kramer, which she says now was “overstepping.”  So, take that, all you 80 year-old actors who no longer have enough influence to help Meryl Streep command $20 million fees for making movies!
  • Speaking of Hollywood, the Golden Globes Awards kicks off that debased community’s months-long awards season this weekend, and the big thing to know about it is that all the actresses will be wearing black to “honor” the victims of sexual harassment.  It will be interesting to see how many of the black dresses sport navel-revealing necklines, another grand Hollywood tradition.
  • Meanwhile, in a show of solidarity, all the men will also be wearing black tuxedos.  Which, given that’s what the men have always worn to these events, doesn’t really show much solidarity at all, does it?  Seems more like a protest action to me.
  • The University of Michigan has a new curriculum on the subject of “How to Deal With Being White.”  Since I was 14, I’ve dealt with it by getting up early in the morning and going to work, treating everyone I deal with with courtesy and respect, and not becoming a burden to society.  But I’m sure there are other ways.
  • Wednesday, January 3 was the deadline day for the FBI and Justice Department to honor a request by the House Intelligence Committee to turn over documents related to the Democrat/Media created Trump/Russia collusion fantasy play, a request that both DOJ and the FBI have been stonewalling since last August.  Rather than meet their legal obligations in the matter, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein went up to Capitol Hill to have a meeting with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.  One would hope Ryan told the two men to get the hell out of his office and go obey the law they’re charged with enforcing, but somehow one lacks much confidence that that’s what actually took place.  In any event, the deadline has passed with no production from the FBI or DOJ, so the ball is back in congress’s court.  With “law enforcement” officials like this, who needs criminals?
  • Fire broke out at the Chappaqua, NY home of Bill and Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, and speculation immediately ran rampant on Twitter that the two lifelong crooks were just burning more records of wrongdoing.  Personally, I figured Hillary had just resorted to dealing with Bill’s latest bimbo eruption by using a Molotov Cocktail.
  • Well, if you wondered why Steve Bannon lasted less than 8 months as the “Chief Strategy Advisor” – whatever that means – in the Trump White House, yesterday’s events should have resolved all confusion.  The guy is nothing more than a tireless self-promoter, and was basically using that position to build his own brand.
  • It is not an accident, for example, that what had been a constant Niagara Falls of leaks coming from the White House slowed to a trickle the day after Bannon was fired.  It is not an accident that, since that firing, the daily messaging confusion that existed at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has been brought under control.
  • Here’s all you really need to know about Bannon offering all those inflammatory remarks to that random book author:  Bannon was subject to a non-disclosure agreement that he signed when he went to work on the Trump Campaign in August of 2016.  So, putting his name to a binding contract obviously means nothing to the guy, if violating it might elevate his personal public profile.
  • Ironically, Bannon told the audience for Breitbart Radio early Thursday morning that  “nothing will ever come between us and President Trump and his agenda” adding that “we’re tight on this agenda as we’ve ever been.”  You could’ve fooled the President, who said on Wednesday that “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency…Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was.”
  • Call me silly, but somehow, it seems unlikely that the President is going to be having Mr. Bannon over for afternoon Diet Coke and Big Macs anytime soon.
  • So now, Steve Bannon is at war with the Democrats; he’s at war with establishment Republicans; he’s at war with the rest of the fake news media; and after yesterday, he’s at war with the White House and the President.  What does it say about a guy when it appears that the only person left in America who he is not at war with is failed Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore?

Just another day in Steve Bannon’s at war with almost everyone America.

That is all.
