New Strzok/Page Texts Point Straight at Obama

Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part I – The stock market bounced back on Tuesday after a week of big losses, with the Dow gaining 567 points on the day.  So, after spending a week breathlessly blaming President Donald Trump for the market’s losses, the fake hosts at CNN and MSNBC can now go back to giving credit for the market’s gains to Barack Hussein Obama.  ‘Cuz that’s what the fake news media does.

Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part II – New texts released Wednesday morning between disgraced FBI Agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page are incredibly revealing, including one in September 2016 from Page to Strzok that simply reads “POTUS [Barack Obama] wants to know everything we’re doing.”   Well, of course he did.  Anyone who has been clinging to the thought that all of this illegal activity at FBI, DOJ, the State Department and the National Security Council was taking place while President Obama sat by in blissful ignorance also believes in unicorns, the tooth fairy and global warming.

Again, as I’ve pointed out repeatedly over the last couple of months, this is all just getting started here.  The proverbial poop hasn’t really even approached that whirring fan yet.  But, as we like to say out here in Texas flyover country, it’s fixin’ to.

If you thought the pranking of bug-eyed California Rep. Adam Schiff by that Russian comedy team that I detailed in yesterday’s Evening Update was hilarious, wait ’til you get a load of the prank call they placed last year to…wait for it…MAXINE WATERS!  If you thought Ms. Waters was a bit of a lunatic already, well, you’ve only seen the tip of the lunatic iceberg with her.  Give it a listen when you have 11 free minutes.  You’ll be glad you did, trust me.

Maybe he just wants to remind the Deep State who it is that commands the military. – The Associated Press reported on Tuesday that President Trump has ordered the Pentagon brass to plan a “grand parade” that would celebrate U.S. military strength.  While everyone in the fake news media very predictably melted down, immediately drawing comparisons to similar parades staged by Hitler, Stalin and the Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea, I suspect the President’s intent in staging such an event is a little more subtle than that.  I imagine he’d probably invite Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein and other deep state plotters to join him in the viewing stand.  Just a guess.

Speaking of President Trump, he told assembled fake reporters at the White House on Tuesday that he’d be all in favor of letting the Democrats shut down 14% of the federal government if a budget bill does not include acceptable reforms of our country’s broken immigration system.  Having just talked about the need to tighted up border security in the ongoing fight against the MS13 gang, the President said “Frankly, I’ll go a step further, if we don’t change the legislation, if we don’t get rid of these loopholes where killers are allowed to come into our country … if we don’t change it let’s have a shutdown, we’ll do a shutdown,” Trump said. “It’s worth it for our country.  I’d love to see a shutdown if we don’t get this stuff taken care of.”

Naturally, conservative talking heads on cable TV who have been wrong about literally everything since mid-2015 immediately judged the President’s comments to be a tactical error.  Mind you, these are the very same conservative talking heads who spent a full year guaranteeing us that Trump could never win the GOP presidential nomination, much less become president, and who still don’t appear to understand a damn thing about how he operates.

It seems like you wouldn’t have to say it yet again after all this time, but here we go:  Donald Trump views everything as a negotiation.  A deal.  He wants to make a deal this week that a) extends the budget through the end of the fiscal year, b) gets him funding for a wall and other enhanced border security measures, c) ends chain migration beyond nuclear family members, d) ends the insane visa lottery system, and e) provides some form of legal status for the DACA “kids” (average age: 26), including a long and difficult path to citizenship.

In every negotiation he has ever engaged in, Donald Trump always begins by laying down the gauntlet with an absolute declaration of terms and a clear reminder that he’d be happy to walk away if he doesn’t get a deal he likes.  That’s what happened yesterday.  That’s it.  If Democrats don’t think he’d be just fine if the government shut down for a week or so so people can once again see that it makes pretty much no difference at all to most of their daily lives, then they are making the mistake of believing their own BS.

Everyone also needs to remember that President Trump is very focused on keeping his campaign promises.  While he promised to fix the immigration system, he also promised to do it in a humane manner, and he views getting a fix for the DACA “kids” as a part of that.  So, he’ll be willing to negotiate here to some extent, but he’s not going to accept some idiotic surrender deal like the one John McCain is offering.  That kind of thing is DOA.

Anyway, the gauntlet has been thrown, and now the negotiation can begin.  But the President won’t be moving much off the deal parameters outlined above.  Expect 14% of the government to shut down on Friday, and expect it to stay there until the Democrats cry “uncle” again.

Just another day in Trump’s making a deal America.

That is all.

Adam Schiff Lies Again. In Other News, Water is Wet.

Tired of all this Losing yet? – The stock markets continued their week-long fall on Monday, with the Dow tanking a record 1175 points on the day.  Remember all that money you made in your 401(k) in January?  Yeah, that’s gone.  Nervous analysts and traders stood around after the market closed telling fake reporters that this is just your normal correction, which in truth is long overdue.  They don’t really know whether that’s true or not, but let’s all hope they are.

The House Intelligence Committee voted unanimously to release the Democrats’ 10 page memo that supposedly rebuts the FISA Abuse Memo the committee released last week.  Even in victory, bug-eyed CA congressman Adam Schiff felt the need to lie repeatedly, first claiming that the Republicans on the committed had spent the last week attempting to suppress his memo – which is most likely just a compilation of anti-Trump talking points written by a high-dollar firm such as Fusion GPS – when in fact his memo has simply been subject to the exact same vetting process that governed the FISA Abuse Memo.

But the big whopper came when he repeated his false claim to fawning fake reporters that officials in the Trump Administration have plead guilty in the Mueller witch hunt to “crimes…like collusion.”  First, there is no such crime as “collusion.”  There just isn’t – it’s not on the books anywhere, in any form.  So no one has plead guilty to any such thing.  Second, no one has even plead guilty – or indeed, even been accused of – crimes that are in any real way related to the supposed subject of Mueller’s witch hunt.  Paul Manafort is accused of financial crimes that took place years before Donald Trump ever announced his candidacy for president, and Gen. Mike Flynn and this Papadopolous clown have plead guilty to fibbing to the FBI.

The truth is the Mueller investigation is a joke, as pretty much all special counsel investigations end up turning into.  But it’s a very dangerous joke.  Having utterly failed to find a shred of proof related to its actual assignment, it has now turned into a wide-ranging effort to trick people into falling into perjury traps.  This is what the FBI refers to as “saving face.”  Can’t prove any crime was committed?  No problem – get some people under oath, ask them the same question 20 times in 20 different ways, and charge them with perjury if one of the 20 answers varies from the other 19.  Declare victory.

This is where Robert Mueller comes from – it’s a culture he helped to build and institutionalize in his many years at the FBI.   And that is why President Trump’s  lawyers, as the NYTimes reported Monday  evening, are strongly advising him not to grant an interview to Mueller.  [Disclaimer:  This Times report is based solely on anonymous sources, identified only as “four people briefed on the matter”, whatever that means.  So it’s 50/50 that it’s just more fake news.  But for the purposes of this morning’s Update, we’ll assume it’s at least partially accurate.

This is risky advice, given that Mueller, if he wants to force a constitutional crisis, has the other option of having one of his two grand juries actually issue a subpoena demanding the President appear to testify in that venue, where he would be subjected to questioning alone, with no lawyers present.  The conventional wisdom in the legal world is that the courts would rule in Mueller’s favor were such a subpoena to be issued, but Trump’s lawyers apparently doubt that Mueller would dare to go that route.  Maybe so, but this is an attempt to execute a slow-motion coup d’etat, and ignoring that reality by assuming Mueller and his deep state band of Clinton/Obama hacks are rational actors can be perilous.

In any event, the question does remain:  what would Mueller do if the President were to choose to simply ignore a subpoena issued by his grand jury?  Would he try to convince FBI Director Christopher Wray to send FBI agents, led presumably by Peter Strzok, over to the White House to arrest the Commander in Chief?  How would Wray respond to such a demand?  If Wray were to agree to Mueller’s demand, how then would the Secret Service respond to a gang of FBI agents showing up at the White House threatening the President?  For that matter, how would James Mattis respond to it?

That may all sound like silly speculation to many, but again, we must remember that we are not living in ordinary times.  We are living in a time in which one of our major political parties no longer respects our constitutional process for conducting free elections.  We are living in a time in which that political party, along with some Republican deep state collaborators, are actively attempting to nullify the outcome of the 2016 election by any means possible, and the Mueller witch hunt is the tip of their spear.

We – and the President’s lawyers – ignore that reality at our own risk.  If the Times report is accurate – again, no better than an even chance it is – assuming Mueller wouldn’t dare go there indicates they haven’t really been paying proper attention to where he’s already gone, or why he’s there in the first place.

Just another day in slow-motion coup d’etat America.
That is all.

That Day the New York Times Decided to Hold Hillary Clinton Accountable, or Something

  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part I – the Dow jumped up by more than 220 points on Friday to close at yet another record high of 26,617.  For those of you who invest in the markets, it has now added 7.7% to your 401(k) or IRA balance just in the first 26 days of 2018.  Since Election Day 2016, the Dow is now up more than 44%.  Let’s all remember and laugh one more time at the fact that Paul Krugman, the New York Times Nobel Prize-winning economist, told a national TV audience on election night that the markets would “never recover” from the election of Donald Trump to the presidency.  Hah-hah, ho-ho, hee-hee, it is to laugh.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part II – Contrary to all the fake news media reports predicting he would be shunned by the globalists and world leaders at Davos, President Donald Trump was in fact received like a rock star by that assemblage of the world’s depraved elites.  Turns out they’re all pretty pleased with the health of their investment portfolios, too.  Who could have predicted that?
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part III – Speaking of elites, Tom Steyer – who I like to refer to as The Billionaire Boy King of Futile Gestures for all of his failures to ban hydraulic fracturing in Colorado and California, and his idiotic “impeach Trump” ads that ran last fall – is now fed up with the Democrat Party.  It seems the Boy King demanded that Chuck Schumer and his fellow Senate Ds go down all the way with their sinking ship of a government shutdown, and when they folded, Steyer exploded.  So now, he’s walking away from his normal funding of the DNC and other Democrat money pits in a huff.  Oh, darn, isn’t that upsetting or something?
  • Speaking of the tired old New York Times, the fake news paper of fake record has finally decided to try to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for something.  But before we talk about that, let’s review all the scandals for which the fake news paper worked diligently to cover up on Hillary’s behalf over the last 25 years:
    • Bilking dozens of middle class investors out of their life savings in the Whitewater scandal?  Ah, why should anyone care about a bunch of Arkansas suckers?
    • Having affairs with Web Hubbell and Vince Foster, the latter of whom was found dead in LaFayette Park a few hours after having a brawl with the Pantsuit Princess in the White House?  Meh.  Nothing to see here.
    • Illegally obtaining the raw FBI files of 1,000 political enemies and lying about to congress?  Is that problem?  Are there, like, rules against that or something?
    • Facilitating the sale of 20% of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia in obvious exchange for $150 million in contributions to the Clinton Foundation?  Again, this question of rules?  How common of anyone to find it somehow wrong for a Secretary of State to take bribes from America’s major adversary.
    • Misusing classified information on an illegal email server?  Ah, so what if people may have gotten killed and the server was probably hacked by other countries – Trump talks funny!  Look at this shiny object over here!
    • Rigging the Democrat primary process in order to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders?  Oh, that Hillary, she’s such a scamp!
    • Paying Fusion GPS to collude with Russian agents to concoct a phony Trump Dossier in an attempt to rig the general election in 2016?  Again, this Trump fellow talks funny!  His hair is positively awful!  Shiny object!
  • But now comes an allegation that, during the 2008 campaign, the Coughing Crook provided cover for an advisor who supposedly sexually harassed someone, and the NYTimes finally wakes up and says “Hey, hey, hey, can’t be doing that, now!  Why, that’s a bridge too far!”  Mind-boggling.
  • Think about the absurdity of trying to shame Hillary Clinton for covering up for a woman abuser.  My God, she’s been covering up for her own freaking husband for the last 40 years, and no one at the NYTimes ever gave a tinker’s damn about any of that.
  • Of course, what this is is the latest effort by the Times  – and every other fake news outlet, all of whom have now parroted the Times story ad nauseum – as if anyone really cares about it – to avoid reporting in any real way on Trump’s success in Davos, and the ongoing major corruption scandal at the FBI.
  • For her own part, the Faining Felon is so darn worried about this whole ‘harassment coverup’ scandal that she issued a couple of tweets in response to the Times story on Friday.  She knows it will all be gone by Monday, and hey, in the context of all the other scandals in her life, this one is sort of like getting a mosquito bite.
Just another day in fake New York Times faking the news America.
That is all.

Thursday Was A Very Big Day For Trump-Style Winning

  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part I – For the first time ever, the Dow Jones Industrial average closed above the 25,000 mark on Thursday, as the Trump economy continues to boom.  This close represents the 89th time the Dow has closed at an all-time record high since the day after Election Day, 2016.  Somewhere, NYTimes fake economist Paul Krugman, who famously predicted the markets would “never recover” from Trump’s victory on Election Night, is cringing.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part II – Americans for Tax Reform reported on Thursday that more than 100 U.S. companies have now announced the awarding of special bonuses to their employees as the result of the passage of the Trump tax reform legislation.  More than 145,000 individuals are impacted by the bonuses offered by Bank of America alone.  No word if Nancy Pelosi has sent all these employees a note telling them this is just a gimmick and that tax reform is going to kill them all, but it seems likely.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part III – The U.S. private sector added more than 250,000 jobs in December, per ADP and Moody’s Analytics, exceeding the estimate of 190,000.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part IV – The consultant firm of Challenger, Gray & Christmas reports that announced layoffs for 2018 are at their lowest point since 1990.  1990 was before anyone outside of Arkansas had ever heard of Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama was in the early stages of learning Saul Alinsky philosophy from domestic terrorists.  A long time ago.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part V – The Trump Administration continued its rapid erasure of the legacy of Barack Obama as Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke announced a new plan for offshore oil and gas development that would open up about 90% of federally-owned waters to leasing and exploration.  The plan, to be implemented in 2019, would open up vast swaths of waters off the East and West coasts, in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico and off the North Slope of Alaska that had been off-limits for many years.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part VI – Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley told reporters that he now has information indicating that ex-FBI Director James Comey intentionally leaked classified information to the New York Times as he was trying to construct a narrative that would justify the appointment of a special counsel in early 2016.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part VII – John Solomon at The Hill reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has finally, at long last, opened up an investigation at the Justice Department into the Clinton Crime Family Fake Foundation.  The investigation will look into whether the Clintons engaged in outright “pay for play” schemes while the Coughing Crook was serving as Secretary of State.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet? Part VIII – Speaking of the corrupt Justice Department, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes announced that he has finally, at long last reached an agreement with DOJ and the FBI to receive documents related to the FBI’s use of the fake Trump Dossier that was compiled by Fusion GPS in collusion with Russian agents, and funded by the Clinton Campaign, the DNC and people who worked for the Obama White House in 2016.  The FBI and DOJ had stone-walled on the production of these documents since August.  This agreement came after House Speaker Paul Ryan backed Nunes when FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein held a special meeting with Ryan on Tuesday.  As a part of this deal, Wray and Rosenstein also agreed to force Deep State operatives Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and others to offer testimony before the House Intel Committee.  Hooboy.  Big, big win there.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part IX – In another huge win for Devin Nunes and President Trump, A federal judge in DC ruled that the Fusion GPS firm must provide its financial records to the House Intel Committee.  Fusion had requested an injunction on the specious grounds that production of the documents would somehow violate its First Amendment rights, or something.  Nunes wants these bank records because he wants to find out once and for all whether the rumors that James Comey’s FBI actually helped fund the production of the fake Trump Dossier are true.
  • Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part X – John Solomon also reports that an original copy of a James Comey memo released on Thursday by House Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson admitted that “there is evidence of potential violations of the statute proscribing gross negligence in the handling of classified information” by Hillary Clinton on her illegal email server.  That passage was later edited out of the final version of the memo.  Cong. Johnson said, “This effort, seen in light of the personal animus toward then-candidate Trump by senior agents leading the Clinton investigation and their apparent desire to create an ‘insurance policy’ against Mr. Trump’s election, raise profound questions about the FBI’s role and possible interference in the 2016 presidential election.”  Yyyyyyyyyyep.
  • Whew.  Thursday was a big, big day for winning in America, Trump-style, and the fake news media hardly noticed any of this since it was too busy “reporting” over a work of mostly fiction that has former White House Strategy Advisor Steve Bannon and others making nasty comments about President Donald Trump and various members of the Trump family.  One excited reporter even tweeted that Bannon’s saying nasty things about President Trump was “just like Watergate.”  Except, well, it isn’t anything like Watergate at all.

Just another day in the Fake News Media keeps missing the story America.

That is all.

Fisking The Fake News Media – Opportunities Abound

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Well, we now know what occupies this clown’s mind. – After the magnificent NRA spokesman Dana Loesch said the organization plans to “fisk” the NYTimes, fake Times reporter Adam Goldman got on Twitter in a panic and wailed that the NRA wanted to sexually assault his newspaper.  Mr. Goldman admitted he thought Ms. Loesch had said “fist”.  The word “fisk” is a new media term for going through the fake media reports line by line and refuting them.  Odd that the Millenial Mr. Goldman is unfamiliar with that word.  But then, he obviously has other things on his mind.
  • Oh, you’re so sweet… Maxine Waters told the harpies on The View that, “when we finish with (impeach) Trump, we have to go and get Putin. He’s next.”  When faced with blank stares from the harpies, she then fumbled around and came up with the name of “Pence” to identify her next target.  This is who the Democrats call a “leader”.  Maybe Dana Loesch should target Maxine and The View with her fisking next.  Hilarity would definitely ensue.
  • Their Ad should read “Jim Acosta Diaper Hamper For Sale”… – Deadline Hollywood reports that AT&T is contemplating selling off CNN once its acquisition of CNN parent company Time Warner is consummated.  Really?  What self-respecting company is going to want to purchase a fake news channel that can’t beat re-runs of “Bewitched” in the ratings?  Of course, Jeff Bezos and Amazon could always buy CNN, since they’re buying everything else.  A CNN/Washington Post merger would be the fake news equivalent of the merger of Exxon and Mobil Oil.
  • Tired of Winning Yet?, Part I – The Trump economy created 209,000 jobs in July, beating estimates for the 6th straight month, and running the total jobs created since Donald Trump took office to more than 1 million.  The fake news media largely ignored the story, with Twitter going so far as to shadow ban positive tweets about the report.  No surprise here – the Democrats and fake news media know that they must keep the public focused on fake scandals in order to kill this presidency.  Reporting positive economic news is just not part of the narrative.
  • Tired of Winning Yet?, Part II – The Dow gained more than 70 points on Friday, marking the 8th straight day it has closed at a record high.  Given that the Dow has traditionally been a leading indicator of future economic growth, the Democrats and their fake journalist propaganda agents are going to have a great big pile of good economic news to try to ignore in the coming months.
  • Speaking of the Fake News Media, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Friday that he is finally getting serious about identifying and prosecuting intelligence agency and White House employees responsible for the incessant leaking to major fake media outlets.  As part of that campaign to get serious, Mr. Sessions said he is considering issuing subpoenas to offending fake journalists and fake media outlets who rush to print or air classified information. “We respect the role that the press plays and will give them respect, but it is not unlimited. They cannot place lives at risk with impunity.”  Sure is nice to think that someone is finally going to attempt to enforce some accountability on fake journalists who abuse their privileges, but only time will tell if Mr. Sessions is truly serious here.  Hey, maybe Dana Loesch can help – she’s already got the NYTimes trembling at the knees.
  • This really isn’t rocket scienceThe UK Daily Mail reports that investigators are considering the use of lie detector tests as a tool to ID the leakers.  Here’s a suggestion:  apply the first two lie detectors to Susan Rice’s bestest buddy H.R. McMaster and Obama loyalist Hope Hicks, who somehow remains employed in the White House communications department, and see if the leaks from the West Wing don’t dry up completely over night.  I’ll even give you odds.

Just another day in all fake news, all the time America.

That is all.

Better Jobs, Better Wa…Wait, What Did Trump Just Tweet?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • On Monday, the Democrats rolled out their new Papa Johns-plagiarized slogan:   “A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future.”  The slogan was so silly, so hokey, so obviously not having to do with anything today’s Democrat Party is all about that even the Democrat operatives at MSNBC mocked it mercilessly (though CNN dutifully played along).  The Party’s strategy, of course, was to yet again attempt to fool the American people that it had a focus on jobs and helping the average American have a better life.  The truth, of course, is that the Party and its agenda were long ago co-opted by Social Justice Warriors and Enviro-Nazis, which is the fundamental reason why the Republican Party holds every lever of power in the nation’s capital today.
  • But Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and the lunatics who are in charge of the DNC know they can’t actually change their focus to things that actually make a difference in Americans’ daily lives, so instead they paid some consultant millions of dollars to paraphrase a slogan off a Papa John’s pizza box.  Now, they thought, we can focus on our nifty new slogan, and pretend we care about the middle class!  It’ll be awesome!  High fives were flying at DNC Headquarters.  But then, on Wednesday, the President started tweeting….
  • …and part of his daily tweet storm that day was a two-tweet announcement that the U.S. military would no longer accept trans-gender applicants and force the U.S. middle class taxpayers to foot the bill for their trans-gender surgeries while they served.  In response, the Democrats and their agents who make up 98% of the nation’s news media went stark raving mad.  The Party’s focus was right back in the hands of the SJWs, the efforts to change the subject instantly forgotten.
  • Slogan?  What slogan?
  • Tired of winning yet? – The Taiwanese company FoxConn announced it is investing more than $10 billion in a new manufacturing plant in Wisconsin, a move that will create 13,000 American jobs.  President Trump wisely held a joint announcement in the White House with the company’s CEO.  Immediately after, heads could be heard exploding all over CNN headquarters in Atlanta.
  • Tired of winning yet, Part II? – On Wednesday, the Dow, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 indices all reached all-time highs.  The fake news media – except for Fox News – were all too busy screaming about presidential tweets to notice.
  • The NYPost reports that Dancing With The Stars is currently in negotiations with…wait for it….wait for it…SEAN SPICER!  That.  Is.  Awesome.  Go for it, big guy.
  • Kid Rock, who is running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan against the execrable Debbie Stabenow, announced on his website that he will be registering people to vote…at his performances!  Those loud noises you heard yesterday were heads exploding at DNC Headquarters.  Yeah, they were exploding over the President’s tweets, but they would have exploded over this, too, had they had the chance.
  • After 9 Republican senators voted against the initial Obamacare repeal and replace bill on Tuesday evening, 7 GOP senators compounded the Party’s mendacity by joining all Democrats in voting down a repeal-only bill on Wednesday.  Five of those seven had voted for the exact same bill in the past when they knew Barack Obama would veto it:  Lisa Murkowski, John McCain, Rob Portman, Shelly Capito, and Lamar Alexander.  Dean Heller of Nevada wasn’t around in the Obama years, so he gets a pass on the hypocrisy, and, as I mentioned yesterday, Susan Collins has never in the past voted in favor of Obamacare repeal, consistently siding with her soulmates in the Democrat Party.  Hopefully, all seven will receive strong primary challengers.  They deserve them.

Just another day in Democrat heads exploding and fake Republican mendacity America.

That is all.
