Thanks to Bret Baier, James Comey’s Defense Strategy is now a Matter of Public Record

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The depraved seditionists who make up the team of fake journalists at CNN spent all day Saturday whining about the fact that President Trump refused to attend last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner for the second straight year.  No longer able to attract any A-list talent, the WHCD was hosted by some D-list comic named Michelle Wolf, whose opening monologue proved beyond all doubt the President had made the right decision once again.

CNN laughably billed the dinner as a “celebration of the first amendment,” as if anyone at CNN actually gives a damn about the constitution anymore.  Ms. Wolf took this billing to mean that she was free to fill her routine with any profanity, insult or slander she saw fit to use, even to the point of personally attacking White House representatives Sarah Sanders and Kellyanne Conway, who made the mistake of choosing to attend the dinner.

The evening’s festivities only went downhill from there.  Gosh, hard to imagine why the President of the United States of America would choose not to legitimize such nonsense.  In reality, the dinner provided just one more reason to question why the White House continues to allow these people onto the grounds for daily press briefings.  It has been obvious they are a hostile force since the first day of this administration, and represent a security threat to the President and his advisors.

The President of the United States has a duty to keep the people informed of what his administration is doing on a regular basis.  But no president has any obligation to cater to the whims of a group of hostile degenerates, which is what the White House press corps has become.  Last night’s event was a disgrace, not just to the near-dead journalistic profession, but to the entire country.  It should not go unpunished.

Mr. Trump, meanwhile, traveled to Washington Township, Michigan to hold a rally that drew attention away from the attention-starved gaggle of fake journalists.  It was classic Trump, a wide-ranging hour and twenty minute stream of consciousness that touched on pretty much everything going on in Washington, DC today.  The White House Press Association should send him a thank you note for distracting the public’s attention away from the disgusting display its members put on at their annual Hollywood for Ugly People gala.

But back to CNN.  If they haven’t already done so, Jeff Zucker and some of the on-air talent at the fakest fake news outlet on the face of the earth had probably better start lawyering up, since it has now become quite obvious that they have not only tailored their reporting to support the conspiracy to take down this presidency, but some of them have been active participants in it.

Make no mistake about this:  What has gone on within the FBI and DOJ since mid-2016 was initially a concerted effort to rig a national election that then, after failing to do that, morphed into a full-blown attempt at a soft coup d’etat.  As we discussed in yesterday’s Campaign Update, CNN fake host Jake Tapper has been an active participant in the plot since January 2017, when Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper shared the contents of the fake Trump Dossier with him.  Since that time, Tapper has sat silently by without comment as Clapper has lied about the Dossier and who he shared it with time after time after time.  That makes Tapper a willing participant in a conspiracy to bring down a duly-elected president.

If Tapper was aware of this, it idiotic to believe that others at CNN weren’t also aware of the same thing.  As a network, CNN has not only continued to allow Clapper on its air, it actually awarded him a big contract in August 2017 to become a paid talent for the fake news channel.  By that time, it was already public knowledge that Clapper had lied to a congressional committee about all of this, but the fake news network hired him anyway.

As this conspiracy continues to unravel, there is no telling where all these various threads will lead.  But we can bet that some of them will lead deep within bowels of the management at CNN, which is about to make a bunch of lawyers a buttload of money.

Speaking of making lawyers a buttload of money, I went back and listened to James Comey’s interview with Bret Baier again yesterday.  It strikes me that in that interview, it is obvious that he was basically practicing the answers he plans to give on a witness stand in a court proceeding.

For a guy who just wrote a book about all of this, Comey’s memory has suddenly become very fuzzy.  His answers to Baier’s questions are filled with weasel-word qualifiers that good lawyers always tell their clients to use, phrases like “I don’t recall,” “not to my recollection,” “that’s not consistent with my memory,” and on and on.  Comey’s obvious defense strategy will be to blame Andrew McCabe, who was his deputy, and Bill Priestap, the FBI’s head of counterintelligence  – and the guy to whom FBI super-agent-in-his-own-mind Peter Strzok reported – for keeping him in the dark as they and their minions went about their anti-Trump machinations.

Taking that interview with Baier was a serious strategic error on Comey’s part.  Baier, with his tough questioning, forced the teen drama queen onto the record about all manner of things he should not have been talking about, leaving Comey now stuck with a narrative that’s already been aired in public.  Even with all the weasel words, it will very difficult for him to shift that story come trial time.

Those of you who still think Attorney General Jeff Sessions isn’t going to pursue any of this might want to take a close look at Comey’s behavior over the past week, because Comey obviously disagrees with you.  You might also want to think about the fact that, other than Clapper and Obama CIA Director John Brennan, the rest of the Obama high officials implicated thus far – like Ben Rhodes, Sally Yates and Samantha Power – have gone strangely silent in the public space over the last month or two.

It’s a strong bet that some lawyers are making a buttload of money off of them as well.

Just another day in the conspiracy to end the Trump presidency is falling apart America.

That is all.

The ClapperTapper Conspiracy Gets Outed

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This story does not please the Borg so the Borg has blocked it.  – After the FBI released 300 new texts shared between FBI Super Agent Peter Strzok and his heroic paramour Lisa Page, the Daily Caller published a story on the texts that began to go viral on Facebook.  Naturally, the evil minions at Facebook quickly stepped in to block users from sharing the story, mocking up a fake notice that said “Our security systems have detected that a lot of people are posting the same content, which could mean that it’s spam.  Please try a different post.”  You must not displease the Borg if you wish to keep accessing the Borg.  Assimilate or be gone.

Your fake news media in action! – After doing everything it could to ignore a series of fantastic developments for the Trump Administration this week and filling its pages instead with anonymously-sourced fake news about Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen, Scott Pruitt and Ronny Jackson, the fake journalists at the Washington Post published a front page story that led with ““The final week of April was designed to be a triumphant one for President Trump,” it led its front-page story on Friday. “ … But instead, it became yet another week in which the Trump administration was convulsed by chaos and contradiction.”  Because that’s what your fake national news media does.

The ClapperTapper Conspiracy gets outed. – The House Intelligence Committee released its final report on Friday, and it predictably led with the truth:  That there was no “collusion” between the Trump Campaign and the Russians, but there was tons of “collusion” between the DNC, the Clinton Campaign, the Russians and a variety of other agents of foreign countries.  Naturally, the terminally vacuous A.B. Stoddard, appearing on the panel segment of Fox’s evening news hour, dismissed the report as having “no credibility,” no doubt having received that talking point from the office of Nancy Pelosi just before going on air.

The report is actually filled with very interesting, well-documented findings, one of the most interesting of which confirms that Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has been caught in yet another instance of perjury in testimony to congress.  As detailed by Sean Davis at The Federalist,

“In one of the findings within the 253-page report, the House intelligence committee wrote that Clapper leaked details of a dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later.”

So, Clapper leaked to Tapper, Clapper lied about it all to congress and then Tapper’s bosses at CNN rewarded Clapper for his leaking to Tapper with a big contributor’s contract, and now the ClapperTapper conspiracy to help bring down the President is circling around the crapper.

Possibly the most noxious part about all of this is that Clapper has lied about all of this repeatedly on-air for CNN, and Tapper has sat there in his fake anchor chair for months remaining silent about it.  Per the report:

“Clapper’s discussion with Tapper took place in early January 2017, around the time IC leaders briefed President Obama and President-elect Trump, on ‘the Christopher Steele information,’ a two-page summary of which was ‘enclosed in’ the highly-classified version of the ICA,” or intelligence community assessment.

So Jake Tapper, vaunted “journalist” and super-duper anchor guy for the fakest fakenews network on the planet, has known about Clapper’s mendacity for 16 months now and has chosen to remain as mute as a terra cotta warrior about it.  Proving yet again that if you watch CNN, you are choosing to be brainwashed.

There will be no accountability for the Tapper piece of the ClapperTapper Conspiracy.  His behavior is exactly what his bosses at CNN want their people to be doing in their efforts to coordinate with the Democrats to bring down this presidency.   But there is plenty of time to hold the Clapper part of ClapperTapper to account for his efforts to subvert American democracy.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions sat by and allowed Clapper to skate as the statute of limitations ran out earlier this year on his previous congressional perjuries.  Now the AG gets a second shot at proving that the perjury statutes exist for a reason, and more importantly apply to all Americans.  One more thread of the conspiracy to bring down Donald Trump has unraveled.

Just another day in the conspiracy to end the Trump presidency is falling apart America.

That is all.

Comey’s Convoluted Con Continues, and Sessions Starts Clearing the Decks

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Why is NBC News such a cesspit of sexual harrassment? – Tom Brokaw got his #Metoo moment on the same day Bill Cosby was convicted of being a serial rapist.  The long-time NBC Nightly News and Today Show host was accused by former NBC and Fox News reporter Linda Vester of creating a very, very hostile work environment, quite similar to the environment that former Today Show host Matt Lauer created while he was at NBC.

NBC News is certainly not alone in having employed a series of skirt-chasing anchormen with egos as out-sized as the fictional Ron Burgundy, but it sure does seem to have been sex abuse central for the mainstream fake news media over the past 30 years.  And let’s never, ever forget that NBC aired the wildly popular Cosby Show, starring a serial rapist who drugged his victims, during the same years Brokaw was the star of its news division.

And these people wonder why journalists are held in the same level of esteem as used car salesmen.

Please, just don’t come to Texas. Economists Art Laffer and Stephen Moore have an op/ed in the Wall Street Journal in which they predict that as many as 800,000 mainly wealthy people will flee the extreme high-tax states of California and New York in the next few years, as the provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act kick in.  Laffer and Moore predict that the limitations on deductions for state income, sales and property taxes will simply make it too expensive for these people to remain in their current home states.

The other 48 states in the union should look on at this story in horror, because the problem with New Yorkers and Californians fleeing to other states to get away from high taxes and high costs of living is this:  They go to other states and just keep voting for the same kind of idiot Democrats whose policy decisions caused them to flee in the first place.

Migrating Californians have already basically destroyed the state of Colorado; they’re responsible for sending the execrable John Tester to represent the state of Montana in the U.S. Senate; and they’re at least partly responsible for turning the once-quaint college town of Austin into a liberal nirvana of wildly-expensive, riderless light rail and bike lanes that make it pretty much impossible to get anywhere in the center city in less than half an hour.

Laffer and Moore say the migration won’t be limited to California and New York, stating “The losers will be most of the Northeast, along with California. The winners are likely to be states like Arizona, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.”

Well, that all depends on how you define the word “winners.”  Those states should be very, very careful what they ask for, because politically, these people are barely distinguishable from a plague of locusts.

Comey’s Convoluted Con Continues. – I was going to talk about the fact that the Korean War is about to come to a formal end thanks to the aggressive foreign policies pursued by President Donald Trump, but as I was putting together this morning’s Campaign Update, the President just issued this tweet:

The teen drama queen ex-FBI Director who Mr. Trump had the “pleasure” of firing made the mistake of subjecting himself to a real interview with a real journalist – Fox News’s Bret Baier – last night, and the results were indeed rather stunning.

Here are just a few of the obvious, blatant lies Comey blurted out during the very tough questioning from Mr. Baier:

  • He claims that he still, to this day, does not know that the fake Trump Dossier was funded by the DNC and the Pantsuit Princess Campaign;
  • Even better, he repeated the claim that the work on the fake dossier was initially funded by Republicans, a bald-faced lie that was debunked months ago;
  • He continued to insist that his memos of conversations with Trump were not an FBI work product, saying that “I always thought of it as mine, like a diary.”  A diary?  Really???  Do you see now why I call him a teen drama queen?   The director of the FBI knows better than to make this hilariously false claim;
  • He laughably claims to this day to see no bias evident in the texts between Peter Strzok and his mistress, Lisa Page:  “When I saw the texts, I was deeply disappointed in them, but I never saw any bias.”  Holy crap;
  • And of course, he continues to claim that the four memos he leaked to his pal, Columbia Law Professor Andrew Richman, who then leaked them to the New York Times, do not constitute leaking;

Upon hearing that final claim, South Carolina Cong. Trey Gowdy, who is himself a former prosecutor, said that “what he defines as a ‘leak’ is what everybody else calls a ‘felony’.”

At this point, watching Comey give an interview is eerily reminiscent of that scene in The Godfather II, when Michael Corleone is called to testify before a congressional committee.  That’s not a good look on a guy who has been leaking classified information, lying to congress and probably obstructing justice to be putting on each’s night’s 5 o’clock news.

Mr. Mueller, tear up that big bag of nothing! – Finally, while all of that other stuff was going on, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, during his own testimony to congress yesterday, publicly advised Special Counsel Robert Mueller to take his giant bag of nothing against President Trump and wrap it up.  The fake news media of course did its best to bury this huge development – here’s a link to a typical example, a story on the matter from CNBC, which buries the lede in the very last sentence of a 500-word piece.

Because that’s what our fake news media does.  But no matter – you can bet Mueller heard Mr. Sessions’ message loud and clear.  Sessions didn’t just say that in testimony before congress for the sake of hearing himself talk.

Oh, and by the way, in case you missed it, Rod Rosenstein is “taking a pause” from his duties managing Mr. Mueller, ostensibly because he’s just the only guy in the whole Department of Justice who can argue a particular case before the Supreme Court.  Ok, sure.  The duties of managing Mueller have been assumed by Trump appointee, Solicitor General Noel Francisco.  Good timing there.  I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence.

Or maybe it’s this:  The decks are being cleared for the issuance of the Inspector General’s report in May, and Sessions was advising Mueller that it is time to shut the Witch Hunt down and let real justice take its course.  And Rosenstein’s “pause” was a great way for him to recuse without using the word “recuse.”  The word “pause” looks so much better in fake news media headlines.

Just another day in the conspiracy to end the Trump presidency is falling apart America.

That is all.

Comey’s Convoluted Con

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Guess whose fault that is? – Self-styled media “watchdog” organization Reporters Without Borders says that hostility towards journalists is rising across the globe.  The liberal “watchdog” naturally attempts to lay the blame for this trend – if indeed it is a trend – at the feet of U.S. President Donald Trump, who it claims has incited the public against the dead journalistic profession, and restricted reporters’ access to his administration.

This of course is the very same Donald Trump who has held more face-to-face press availabilities during his first 16 months in office than his predecessor did in 8 years, the same Donald Trump who has taken the unprecedented step of allowing the press to remain in the White House conference room to witness the entirety of bi-partisan negotiating sessions on crucial issues, the same Donald Trump who interacts personally with the White House press corps on almost a daily basis.  That Donald Trump.

Reporters Without Borders claims that “many democratically elected leaders ‘no longer see the media as part of democracy’s essential underpinning,'” and that that is leading common citizens to take the same view.  The group, made up of the same sort of fake journalists who infest the national news media here in America, naturally never takes a second to reflect on the much more likely notion that all the fake and biased “news” tossed into the public domain by all their fake reporter colleagues might have something to do with the public’s declining esteem for their dead profession.

No surprise here.

This just keeps getting uglier and uglier. – Teenage Drama Queen ex-FBI Director James Comey was twisting himself up into one of those tiny pretzels you get on a United Airlines flight on CNN last night, desperately trying to explain to a suddenly semi-journalistic Anderson Cooper why his leaking of classified information wasn’t really a “leak.” If the film of Comey’s clips from last night were viewed by every American, every American would view him as the slimey, dissembling creep he really is.  Unfortunately, more people watch Sponge Bob Squarepants every night than Anderson Cooper, so it will remain a closely guarded secret over in the CNN vault.

Meanwhile, Fox News – which has a real audience – was reporting that Comey’s classified-information-filled memos weren’t just shared with Comey’s “friend”, Columbia Law Professor Daniel Richman.  They were also shared with others, including…wait for it…oh, you gotta wait for this one…Patrick Fitzgerald!

Yes, I kid you not and swear on a stack of bibles I do not make this stuff up, the self-same Patrick Fitzgerald who we talked about in yesterday’s Campaign Update, the same Patrick Fitzgerald who was the special counsel who tossed Scooter Libby in jail on a trumped-up process charge, the same Patrick Fitzgerald who is the godfather to Comey’s children, the same Patrick Fitzgerald who we found out yesterday has been retained by Comey as part of his criminal defense team.  That Patrick Fitzgerald.

So think this all through in light of this new information.  Comey knows he is now under investigation by the DOJ Inspector General, and also most likely by Salt Lake City U.S. Attorney John Huber.  He knows he is in grave danger of serving time in prison for his illegal leaks and multiple perjuries before congress.

Comey also knows that both Richman and Fitzgerald, as the guys to whom he handed copies of his memos – which were the property of the FBI and contained gobs of classified information – are two of the main witnesses to his crimes.  Further, he knows that by sharing those memos with Richman and Fitzgerald, he has placed both of those men in potential criminal jeopardy as well.

Richman has even more of a problem than Fitzgerald, given that he was at the time of his leaking on behalf of Comey an actual employee of the FBI, complete with badge and security clearance and access card to get into and out of the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC.

So what does Comey do?  Why, he hires both men as his personal lawyers, possibly because they’re both fine lawyers, but also most likely because that gives all three men the opportunity to try to hide behind what used to be the shield of attorney/client privilege.

See how this works?

Of course, the fly in that particular ointment is that current special counsel – and also good buddy to Comey and Fitzgerald – Robert Mueller just crashed the whole notion of attorney/client privilege by staging his jack-booted raid on the home, office and hotel room of President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen.  If Mueller, working in concert with the U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York, can stage such a raid and willy-nilly confiscate every document he finds pertaining to every one of Cohen’s clients, and then start selectively leaking them to the fake news media, then what is left of any such “privilege?”

Comey, Richman and Fitzgerald can play hide ‘n seek all they want, but they’re all in deep doo-doo right now, and their good buddy Mueller isn’t helping their situation.  And all of that just could not happen to a nicer bunch of guys.

Just another day in you couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried America.

That is all.

James Comey Finds That Being a Teenage Drama Queen Ain’t All it’s Cracked up to be

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? – President and First Lady Melania Trump hosted their first formal state dinner in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron last night, and it was by all accounts a rousing success.  Even better, not one single, solitary Washington, DC-based Democrat was invited to attend, a fact that the fake reporters and fake anchors at CNN whined about endlessly.  The lone Democrat in attendance was the execrable Governor of Louisiana, John Bel Edwards, I guess because of that whole Louisiana Purchase thing.  Governor Edwards, a trial lawyer who is using his office to destroy the Louisiana economy, behaving like a tin pot dictator in the process, is as good a representative of his party as anyone could be.

Hey, this whole book tour plan to take down President Trump idea just is not going the way we planned it! – Late yesterday, reports began to circulate that teenage drama queen ex-FBI Director James Comey is suddenly getting a little concerned that his plan to take down a sitting president by releasing his angst-filled diaries to the public and charging $95 a pop for people to listen to him talk about how The Man done him wrong is actually boomeranging on him and exposing him further than he already was to criminal prosecution.  So he’s gone out and hired himself a good criminal lawyer, a man who happens to be the godfather of Comey’s children, and a man whose name will be very familiar to some of you.

That man’s name?  Patrick Fitzgerald.

Yes, friends and countrymen, the self-same Patrick Fitzgerald who spent a couple of years during the George W. Bush administration as the last “special counsel” to conduct a witch hunt against a Republican presidency.  The same Patrick Fitzgerald whose only notable conviction out of that fiasco was the false conviction of Scooter Libby on a perjury trap, a conviction that President Trump reversed just days ago.  That guy right there is the freaking godfather of freaking James Comey’s freaking kids.

So, here’s what a bad actor our former FBI Director happens to be:  His best friend is the current special counsel and his kids’ godfather is the former special counsel and his other really good buddy is the guy who illegally appointed the current special counsel based solely on the content of Comey’s teen-angst diaries, and despite all of this, Comey still finds himself in the situation of likely facing an array of criminal charges for his actions while serving as FBI director and after he was fired.

Shortly after the release of Comey’s book I half-jokingly wrote that this whole book idea was actually just Comey’s version of Andrew McCabe’s GoFundMe effort to raise a legal defense fund.  Today I’m repeating that thought, and I’m not joking.  I actually now fully believe that that is what the book is all about.  And the scheme has been highly successful:  As of yesterday, Comey’s book had already sold 600,000 copies, proving yet again P.T. Barnum’s old adage there is indeed a sucker born every minute.

Speaking of Comey, he held a book-shilling event at the Newseum in Washington last night, and the crowd was very predictably made up mainly of fawning fake reporters eager to secure a moment of time and selfies with their hero.  Also in attendance was former DNC Chairman and Clinton toady Donna Brazile, who engaged in her own efforts to fix the 2016 election by feeding debate questions to the Pantsuit Princess in advance.  Birds of a feather…

If this surprises you, you need to pay closer attention. – And it gets even better with Comey.  Fox News reports that the Columbia Law Professor who served as Comey’s conduit for illegally leaking his classified-information-filled memos to the New York Times was actually serving as an unpaid agent with “special status” for the FBI.  I swear I do not make this stuff up.

I just love this passage from the Fox story:

Sources familiar with Richman’s status at the FBI told Fox News that he was assigned to “special projects” by Comey, and had a security clearance as well as badge access to the building. Richman’s status was the subject of a Memorandum of Understanding.

Yes, he was assigned “special projects” such as trying and failing to give Comey cover for illegally leaking classified information to the fake news media, an act for which Comey now feels the need to retain a very expensive lawyer.  That kind of “special project.”

It turns out that being a 6’8″ tall, 57 year-old teenage drama queen just ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Just another day in you couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried America.

That is all.

The Walls Keep Closing in Around the Deep State Cabal

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ok, lessee here, busy day yesterday….

Law enforcement officials caught the naked Waffle House shooter, and fortunately he had his pants on when they took him into custody.  What a strange, odd story that one is.

Another royal baby was born in London, and once again I can only marvel at how many Americans actually give a damn.  I don’t.

Poppy Bush is in the ICU at Houston Methodist hospital with a blood infection, just a few days after his wife Barbara was laid to rest.  One can only imagine the stress the 93 year-old former president has been through in the last week.  Here’s wishing him a full recovery – having been a heart patient at Houston Methodist myself, I know he literally could not be in better hands.

Kanye West is getting himself in all sorts of trouble with the Social Justice Warrior left for defending a black conservative woman’s – Candace Owens – right to speak her mind, and for saying he doesn’t hate President Donald Trump.  Hate is the life’s blood of the American left these days, so this is no surprise at all.

The makers of Yeti Coolers have gotten themselves in a world of trouble with their main consumer group – outdoorsmen – by cancelling some discount programs they had with the NRA.  By the time a Yeti spokesperson very predictably tried to calm the situation late on Monday by calling it all a “misunderstanding,” NRA fans had already mounted a protest called the Blow Up a Yeti Challenge, in which owners of Yeti coolers video themselves blowing the things up and posting the video on social media.

Meanwhile, I happened to be on the road yesterday, and stopped in at my favorite Buc-ee’s convenience store for some refreshment and a bathroom break.  While there, I took the shot below of the obvious solution to this problem:

RTIC coolers – half the price, every bit the performance as a Yeti.  And no, I don’t own stock in the company, though I probably should.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul decided to do the right thing and vote to confirm Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo, sending Pompeo’s nomination to the floor of the Senate with a positive recommendation from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.  Now all the red state Democrats facing tough re-election fights – are you listening, Joe Manchin? – get to decide whether they want to have a chance to win their races, or they want to continue acting as Chuck Schumer’s loyal toadies.  This Democrat tactic of opposing every nomination for the sake of opposing it is becoming extremely tiresome with independent voters.

The walls keep closing in on the Deep State Cabal. – A little-noticed passage in the report on Andrew McCabe by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz is starting to make real news, at least in the 2% of the national news media that doesn’t function solely as press agents for the Democrat Party.  As reported in the Washington Times, this passage reveals the fact that McCabe, several weeks prior to Election Day 2016, was surprised to get an irate phone call from a “high level offical” in the Justice Department, demanding to know why the FBI was still pursuing its then-active investigation into the Clinton Crime Family Fake Foundation.

As described in the report, a call such as this, from a high DOJ official attempting to interfere in an active FBI investigation is highly unusual, and would have set off alarm bells had it taken place in a non- corrupted DOJ, which of course we did not have during the Obama years.  McCabe told investigators that his impression from the call was that DOJ was improperly trying to pressure the FBI on behalf of the Clinton Campaign.

What is so interesting about this particular incident is not that it took place, since this kind of corrupt behavior at the Obama DOJ was just par for the course, but that the call was made by a person the report identifies as the “principal associate deputy attorney general.”  It doesn’t take much grunt work to find out that the person with that particular job title at that point in time was one Matthew Axelrod, which is not in and of itself especially notable.

What is especially notable, however, is that the position of “principal associate deputy attorney general” reports to the “deputy attorney general” who, at that point in time was a person with the very recognizable name of… wait for it… Sally Yates!  Yes, friends, the same Sally Yates who served as acting attorney general for the first 10 days of the Trump Administration, the same Sally Yates whose name keeps popping up over and over and over again as a key participant in the deep state conspiracy to bring down the Trump presidency, the same Sally Yates who was unceremoniously fired by President Trump when she refused to enforce his initial travel ban.

That Sally Yates.  Trust me, we’ll be hearing a lot more about Ms. Yates in the coming weeks, as the plot to fix an election and then to kill a presidency continues to unravel, thread by despicable thread.

Connecting the dots on this deep state conspiracy is so damn fascinating.   Robert Ludlum couldn’t have made this stuff up.

Just another day in the deep state cabal keeps unraveling America.

That is all.

Devin Nunes Drops Another Bomb, and It’s a Big One

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, here’s how our fake national news media justifies what it does:

  • Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that the Obama Administration’s fake “counterintelligence” investigation into the Trump campaign was started in early 2016 “with no official intelligence” as its basis.
  • Other than Fox and a handful of conservative news outlets, no media outlet has reported this incredible, bombshell news, which means that the investigation was illegal from the outset.
  • The fake news media outlets refusing to cover this story claim that it’s all Nunes’ fault, because he has destroyed his own credibility with the fake news media.
  • Why is that the case?  Because Nunes has spent the last 13 months uncovering the truth about the Trump/Russia Collusion fantasy play that has been mounted by the Democrat party in direct coordination with those same fake news media players.
  • Because of that, the fake news media identified Nunes as a threat, and has mounted an intense character assassination campaign against him.

See how that works?  The media identifies a threat to their narrative, colludes with Democrats like bug-eyed Adam Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, to demonize that threat, claims that threat has lost his credibility as a result of the demonization campaign, and then proceeds to ignore everything he says on the grounds of the lost credibility.  A textbook display of a Saul Alinsky character assassination campaign.

In all seriousness, the revelation by Nunes is incredible in its potential ramifications, and it can’t just be wished away no matter how hard the fake media tries.  The FBI and intelligence community currently claim that the origin for its counterintelligence operation against the Trump Campaign was a conversation that a pathetic minor hanger-on named George Papadopolous had with an Australian diplomat.  If that is true – which is highly suspect – then that bit of intelligence should have been communicated through the so-called “Five Eyes” agreement between the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK, a deal that ensures these five allies do not spy on one another’s citizens without everyone knowing about it.

Nunes, as Chairman of the House Intel Committee, is privy to such Five Eyes communications, so is obviously in a position to know.  Obama CIA Director John Brennan testified to congress last May that he directly communicated the intelligence he had accumulated as of October 2016 to then-FBI Director James Comey, and also briefed key members of congress at the same time.

Unfortunately for Brennan, last week the FBI, after months of stonewalling, released the original electronic communications documents  that led to the creation of its counterintelligence investigation, and those documents, according to Nunes, reveal that that intelligence that Brennan passed to Comey did not come through official channels.  Nunes told Bartiromo the following:

Nunes doesn’t know whether the former secretary of state and then-Democratic challenger to Trump in the election, Hillary Clinton, was pulling the strings of the investigation launched against her political opponent. However, he said it is known that two long-time Clinton associates – including Sidney Blumenthal – were “actively” giving information to the State Department, which “was somehow making its way to the FBI.”

So, what all this means is that it is very likely that the CIA, under Brennan’s leadership, had been conducting illegal surveillance on the Trump Campaign long before the FBI had ever obtained a FISA warrant authorizing such activity against U.S. citizens, and that associates of the Pantsuit Princess were feeding the State Department information from the fake Trump Dossier that the DNC and Clinton Campaign had spent millions of dollars having compiled.  That information was then being fed by the State Department to Brennan, and Brennan was then passing it through to Comey.  Breathtaking.

This explains why Nunes and his committee are still working on a report on its findings related to the State Department’s involvement in the illegal spying on the Trump Campaign.  We also should remember here that we have evidence, in the form of texts between disgraced deep state FBI Agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, that President Obama himself was aware of all of this as early as September 2016.  In that month, Strzok texted Page that Obama had  requested a briefing “on everything we are doing.”

This is the single biggest scandal in American history, and our fake news media is so blinded by its collective hatred for Donald Trump and its overwhelming general political bias that it is not just missing the story, it is intentionally ignoring it in the hopes that pretending that the facts don’t exist will somehow make them go away.

But facts are stubborn things, as Ronald Reagan famously said, and you can’t just wish them away.

Just another day in the truth is coming slowly but surely America.

That is all.

Your Fake News Media in Action!

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, let’s do that with Obamacare, too! – Chuckie Schumer announced on Friday that he’s introducing a bill that would essentially rescind federal marijuana laws because, he claims, he is such a huge believer in the concept of federalism that he thinks we should just let the states decide on whether pot should be legal or not.  This marks the first issue in his long political career on which the old collectivist expressed a fealty to federalism.

Talking Points Parrot for Senate! – Just minutes after Schumer had held his press conference, Texas senate candidate Irish Beto O’Rourke took to his Twitter feed to join in the fun:

So, there you go, Texans – you have a choice of re-electing Ted Cruz or replacing him with a guy who will loyally do or say whatever Chuck Schumer wants him to do or say for the next six years.  This really shouldn’t be hard.

Your Fake News Media In Action! – At mid-day Friday, the Justice Department announced the bombshell story that Inspector General Michael Horowitz is investigating drama queen ex-FBI Director James Comey for potential violations of the Espionage Act.  So I thought I’d go to Politico.com to see what that political news outlet of record for the Inside-the-Beltway set had to say about this huge story.

The answer, as of 6:43 a.m. Central Time this morning is…nothing.  Wait, can that be right?  Let me go through all the stories on the landing page – there are dozens of them – again.  Hold on….

Ok, yeah, that’s right.  Not a word.  Politico does have front page headlines about EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s apartment, one about a half-century-ago affair between Fidel Castro and some ABC reporter, a typically slanted “analysis” of a bunch of fake “conflicts” Rudy Giuliani brings to his new role on the Trump defense team, and an ultra-critical story about what some liberal fake journalist hack thinks Melania Trump can learn from the late Barbara Bush.

But not a peep about the stood-up homecoming queen ex-FBI Director being investigated for violations of the nation’s Espionage Act.

Holy cow.

Your Fake News Media in Action!  Part II – CNN’s Chief Political Analyst, Gloria Borger, is no doubt on thin ice at the fakest of all the fake news outlets this morning after she made the enormous error of actually speaking truthfully about the absurd lawsuit filed by the DNC on Friday.  When asked how she would classify the suit by fake host Brooke Baldwin, Borger called it a “100 percent stunt”.  Here’s the exchange:

“How much of this do you think is just a stunt versus a pretty smart ploy for the court of public opinion?” Brooke Baldwin asked political analyst Gloria Borger.

“A 100 percent stunt, 100 percent,” Borger responded. “They want to get in the act, obviously. They want to keep the story moving. This is nothing new.”

Note how Baldwin attempted to get Borger to the “right” answer in the view of CNN’s management and the Democrat Party with her “pretty smart ploy” lead-in.  But Borger slipped up, and now CNN – which is no doubt intent upon focusing on this fake story for the entire weekend in order to avoid having to report on all the bad-for-Democrats stories related to Comey, Andrew McCabe and the flailing Mueller investigation – is stuck trying to find a way to rationalize the moment of inadvertent honesty by its vaunted el jefe Political Analyst.  Good luck with that, guys and gals.

Your Fake News Media in Action!  Part III – Oh, hey, the Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea announced on Friday that he is suspending his missile testing program and completely closing down his main missile test site in advance of his anticipated meeting with President Trump next month.  CNN, MSNBC, the WaPo and the NYTimes will spend all weekend twisting themselves into pretzels trying to rationalize how to deny Mr. Trump any credit for this happy turn of events.  Good luck with that one, too.

Your Fake News Media in Action!  Part IV – Finally, since no one at any of the fake news media outlets is honest enough to report it, President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) took to his Twitter feed late Friday night to point out a key fact related to the Comey memos that were released this week, 8 of 15 pages of which contained redactions marked “classified”:

Yes, some of us know what it means.  But you’ll never get anyone in the fake news media to acknowledge that reality.  Nice try, though.

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

About that DNC Lawsuit…

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

…don’t expect anything to really come of it.

In fact, you should expect it to occupy most of the fake news media attention over this weekend, quickly fade from view starting on Monday, and be withdrawn entirely within a few weeks.

The DNC did not make a legal move today by filing that lawsuit, it made a political move.  Democrats were getting crushed by the back-firing of the James Comey teen angst tour, the IG’s criminal referral on Andrew McCabe, and the news that the IG had opened a new investigation into Comey and the likelihood he illegally leaked classified information to the New York Times in the memos he fed to that fake newspaper through an intermediary.

On top of all of that, President Trump’s polling numbers this week are coming in at their highest point since his inauguration, and the Democrat edge in generic congressional polling data continues to narrow.

In light of all this terrible news, the Democrats had to take some action in advance of the weekend or have all this negativity dominate the Sunday talk shows.  So, they got the nitwits who run the DNC to file this lawsuit in order to give all of their willing dupes in the fake news media something else to obsess over throughout the weekend.

Yes, the DNC is so dead broke it couldn’t pay lawyers to run with this lawsuit if it wanted to, but think about it from their perspective:  This lawsuit gives all of the Democrat press agents in the fake media an excuse to spend the entire weekend doing nothing but re-hashing all of their fantasy theories about the Trump campaign “colluding” with Russia.

So, from a political perspective, it’s really brilliant, even if it is a complete non-starter from a legal perspective.

Seriously, the DNC could never even think about letting this “lawsuit” actually make its way into a courtroom, simply because of what they’d have to surrender in the discovery process.  The central claim in the suit is the demonstrably false claim that “Russia” hacked the DNC computer server and fed thousands of DNC emails to WikiLeaks.

Ok, so, the first thing the defendants do is subpoena the DNC computer server as part of the discovery process.  The second thing that happens is that President Trump pardons Julian Assange, who would then be free to travel to the U.S. and provide his proof that the emails WikiLeaks obtained were provided not by anyone from Russia, but by murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich.

Does anyone really think the DNC is going to voluntarily reopen that particular can of worms?  Well, ok, DNC Chairman Tom Perez is a raging Marxist moron, but he presumably has someone on staff who might point out these realities to him.

And really, that’s just for starters.  After all, the DNC fixed its own primary process in order to ensure the Pantsuit Princess would win its nomination.  It then paid millions of dollars to agents of foreign countries – including Russia – to dummy up the fake Trump Dossier, which it then used in an attempt to fix the general election.  These are all matters of public record at this point.

No, this was not a legal move today, and this is a lawsuit that will quietly go away in very short order.  This was a political move designed to give the fake hosts of the Sunday morning talk shows a shiny object to chase.  And trust me, with the possible exception of Chris Wallace at Fox News, all the fake hosts will thrilled to death to play along.

Because that’s what the fake news media does for its benefactors in the Democrat Party.

That is all.
