That “Blue Wave” May Be About to Become a “Red Flood”

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Irrelevant.  Americans today need to know what too much #WINNING does to them. – The National Centers for Environmental Information (there’s your all-time politically correct name) issued a report on Monday that says that watching too much bad news can be hazardous to one’s health.  So now you know why all of your Democrat friends are feeling so bad these days.

Where were these guys when Obama and Kerry were surrendering to Iran’s Mullahs? – Senate Democrats, feeling a sudden need to pretend to care about U.S. national security – something that historically only happens when a Republican president is about to achieve a major foreign policy victory for the country – issued their list of “demands” for what President Trump must include in any treaty with North Korea that will need to be ratified in the Senate.

These demands include the following:

  1. The deal must include the dismantlement and removal of all nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons from North Korea.
  2. The U.S. must ensure a “complete and verifiable denuclearization of North Korea,” removing all items related to nuclear-weapons production to prevent the country from reversing course.
  3. North Korea must end its ballistic-missile program as well.
  4. North Korea must comply with “anywhere, anytime” inspections to ensure it is not cheating on the deal, and sanctions must be immediately restored if it does cheat.
  5. The deal must be permanent.

If it strikes you that this list of “demands” reads like the list of goals the Trump Administration has been talking about in advance of the June 12 summit meeting in Singapore, that’s because they basically are one and the same.

Look, the Democrats are beginning to panic about their prospects in November’s mid-term elections.  Bereft of any bright policy ideas of their own which might attract new voters, they are now going about the process of attempting to co-opt conservative positions on issues, starting with the negotiations with North Korea.  This is what Bill Clinton taught them to do in 1996, and it’s what they’ve tried in every election cycle since that time.

Just a couple of months ago they and their fake news media agents were convinced that they were headed towards a grand victory, a “Blue Wave” that would see them win a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, maybe the Senate as well, and make sweeping gains in state governorships and legislative houses all over the country.

But what had once been as much as an 18-point lead in congressional generic preference polling has now essentially disappeared as the Trump tax cuts have kicked the economy into high gear and good news for America continues to pour in from around the world.  Americans are becoming optimistic about the future again – one recent “right direction/wrong direction” shows the “right direction” answer coming in at its highest level in many years – and that is never a positive sign for the eternally depressed and negative Democrats, who rely on human misery and suffering to build voter support.

Think about it:  Have you seen a single Democrat politician or liberal talking head on your television talk about what a great thing it is that the Black and Hispanic rates of unemployment are at all-time lows?  No, of course you haven’t.  Democrats don’t want Blacks and Hispanics to have jobs – Democrats want Blacks and Hispanics to be dependent on the government because that’s the best way to ensure they will continue to vote in overwhelming majorities for Democrats.

So, Democrat “leaders” – such as they are – see all this good news taking place, they see Kanye West and other young African American leaders beginning to speak out about this orthodoxy they’ve held in place for half a century, and they have no idea at all what to do about it other than to resort back to the “triangulation” tactic they’ve employed in every election cycle for 22 years.  That’s what this Korea canard is all about, and you’re going to see more of that kind of co-option of GOP positions taking place in the coming weeks.

Because the reality is that, as we sit here today, the overarching national momentum in this election cycle is firmly behind the Republicans now, just as the overarching mood of the public had moved behind Donald Trump’s candidacy at this point in 2016.  That could change between now and November, but it would take some extraordinary paradigm-shifting event to make it happen.

When you see San Fran Nan advocating for additional tax cuts and Chuckie Schumer out in Chicago or Detroit or Baltimore talking about the need to get tough on crime, you’ll know for sure that the once-vaunted “Blue Wave” is about to turn into a “Red Flood.”  This is all very predictable.

About that Bill Clinton interview… – It occurs to me this morning that this NBC interview with Bill Clinton and an extremely uncomfortable James Patterson is a real teaching moment for Millennials.  Because this is the first time in their adult lives that they have seen the real Bill Clinton that we all had to deal with throughout the decade of the ’90s put on display for everyone to see.

There he was in all his sociopathic glory, shifting blame, denying responsibility, angry at being questioned, refusing to apologize and pretending that it is indeed he who is the actual victim here.  Bill’s all about the whole #MeToo movement, only in his mind it’s all about him, not the many women he abused throughout his adult life.  Poor, poor persecuted Bill.  Why, I kept waiting for him to toss out the whole “vast rightwing conspiracy” canard just for fun.

Here’s a hint for all you Millennials who were not really following politics while Bill was chasing 22 year-old interns around the Oval Office:  The most telling line of that entire interview is when he says, when asked about his Monica Lewinsky scandal, “Nobody believes I got out of that for free. I left the White House $16 million in debt.”

See, with the Clintons, it was always all about the money.  Bill and Hillary Clinton are America’s Greatest Grifters.  Everything they did, every office they sought was all about what was in it for them.  Their having debt at the end of Bill’s terms in office – fact-checkers show it wasn’t really even close to the number Billy boy tossed out – was in their minds justification for having Hillary turn her gig as Obama’s Secretary of State into a classic mob influence racket in which she was only too happy to sell U.S. foreign policy decisions to the highest bidders.

The Clintons – both of them – were always just in it for the money.  They were always looking for their next scam.  For Hillary, being elected President was going to be the most glorious scam of all.

Be happy she didn’t make it there.

Just another day in Panicking Democrats America.

That is all.

Great News For America is Always Horrible News For Democrats. It’s a Rule.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yeah, that?  It’s not a good idea.  But please go ahead and do it anyway. – The genius program managers at ABC, panicked over the loss of their highest-rated spring program thanks to Roseanne Barr’s Twitter meltdown earlier this week, have now come up with the not-so-brilliant idea of doing a spinoff of “Roseanne” focused on the daughter, Darlene, played by the career mediocrity Sarah Gilbert.  Yeah, that’s not going to work, but I sure do hope they try.  It’s always fun watching these network sleazeballs fail.

Mr. Trudeau also requests that you all refrain from farting for the next 10 days. – And hey, the liberals up in Canada aren’t any better.  In preparations for hosting the upcoming G7 conference in Ottowa, boy king Justin Trudeau’s government has instructed the region’s farmers to avoid spreading manure-based fertilizers on their fields while the leaders from Italy, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan and the U.S. are in town.  Wouldn’t want the international guests to experience any nasty odors, you know.

No word yet on whether the boy king has also placed travel bans into the country on Michael Moore, Samantha Bee and Kathy Griffin, but it seems likely.

Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part I – The news on the economy continues to be fantastic, with another tremendous jobs report for April, unemployment equaling the all-time low recorded since the statistic began to be measured in 1969, the labor participation rate at its highest in a decade, and black and Hispanic unemployment rates also at all-time lows.

The Atlanta branch of the Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model now estimates second quarter GDP growth will come in at a whopping 4.8 percent, well above the 3% Trump target which was labeled impossible to achieve by America’s Biggest Mistake, Barack Obama.  Remember all the Obamatons’ talk about the “new normal” of 0-2% economic growth forever?  Funny, we don’t hear anyone saying that anymore.

The economy also added more than 20,000 manufacturing jobs during the single month of April.  Those are the jobs you may remember that Obama, speaking at an event at a Caterpillar location, told us were those old jobs that were “never coming back.”  Remember that?  The folks at booming Caterpillar certainly do.  When Donald Trump talked about bringing those jobs back on the campaign trail in 2015-16, Obama scoffed and said “you can’t just wave some magic wand” to make such jobs reappear.

Hey Barack, Yes We Can.

Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part II – Meanwhile, the increasingly sweating Democrats are so utterly bereft of any real idea on how to deal with all of this wonderful news for America (which is always horrible news for Democrats) that they sent the stammering, doddering San Fran Nan out in front of the TV cameras to say…wait for it….oh, this is a good one….“May’s jobs report shows that strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republicans’ watch.”

No kidding, she really said that.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

So, the Democrat Party’s official response to all this fantastic jobs creation and economic growth is that it’s all bad because Republicans created it and Republicans are bad so it’s all bad.  Or something.  Did you follow that?  Yeah, nobody else did either.

Democrats.  If they didn’t exist, no one in their right mind would ever dream of making them up.

I hate to say I told you so, but hey, I told you so. – After receiving a gigantic letter (see below) from the Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea on Friday, President Trump announced to the leering fake news media that the summit meeting between the two men scheduled for June 12 in Singapore is going to happen after all.  This ‘news’ came as a shock to all the fake reporters and editors in our fake news media, because none of them have taken the time to try to understand how the President conducts strategic negotiations.

Those of you who read the daily Campaign Updates knew all of this a week ago.  No need to thank me.   This isn’t exactly rocket science here.

This wonderful news for America is also horrible news for Democrats (do you sense a recurring theme here?).  If the President is able to successfully negotiate a framework for the verifiable and permanent de-nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula with the Crazy Little Fat Guy, the Democrats may never recover.  Even an agreement in principle to begin a process would put a huge nail in the coffin of the already-pretty-much-dead “Blue Wave” that the Democrat agents in the fake news media were raving about as recently as March.

Because, repeat with me, Great News For America is Always Horrible News For Democrats.  There are no exceptions to this immutable rule.

Just another day in Donald Trump is killing the Democrat Party America.

That is all.
