Robert Mueller’s Pretense of Impartiality Means Indictments Are Soon to Come

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Hey, distract yourself with this shiny object over here! – NBC reports this morning that Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his crew of Clinton/Obama shills is now investigating… wait for it…the Podesta Group!  No, that’s not John Podesta, who managed The Most Corrupt Woman in America’s presidential campaign, but his brother Tony Podesta, who runs a high-powered lobbying firm for Democrat interests in the nation’s capital.
  • It seems the Podesta Group neglected to properly disclose its lobbying activities on behalf of something called the European Center for a Modern Ukraine (ECMU) to the federal government, doing so only after its activities on behalf of this entity were disclosed in the fake news media.  That’s a felony, if the oversight was intentional.  Of course, it will be pretty much impossible for Mueller’s team to prove intent absent some sudden come-to-Jesus moment by someone at the Podesta Group, something that is about as likely to happen as the Cleveland Browns winning the Super Bowl.
  • If you’re getting excited about this news that Mueller’s sham investigation into a Democrat/Media-created fantasy of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign is suddenly aiming its guns in the direction of the Democrats, where we know real Russia collusion took place, well, cool your jets.  The NBC report is “news” based on leaks from the Mueller team, and is most likely just an effort by the Special Counsel’s office to try to build some public credibility.
  • Think about it:  Mueller is anything but stupid, a creature of the DC Swamp for 30+ years.  He knows that any findings against any Trump-related people by his investigation will be hopelessly tainted due to the fact that he has stacked his team with hyper-partisan hacks.  Given that his goal from the start has been to find something, anything with which to charge someone, anyone associated with the President with some kind of criminal activity in order to damage Mr. Trump, he knows that credibility with the public is crucial to achieving that goal.
  • The last thing he wants to do is turn his fantasy-based investigation in the direction where it really should be aimed, i.e., reality, but he knows he must at least put up the pretense of impartiality.  What better way to do that than by leaking to the very willing Democrat accomplices at NBC that he and his crack team of Clinton/Obama donors are “investigating” potential wrongdoing by a high-powered lobbying firm with a very familiar Democrat name at the top for possible crimes that will be pretty much impossible to prove?
  • If you don’t believe that this is how these swamp creatures and their media hack supporters think, I give you the response mid-week last week by MSNBC fake journalist Andrea Mitchell to the current reporting on the Clinton/Russia/Uranium scandal by reporters for The Hill.   When asked why MSNBC and NBC were maintaining radio silence on that scandal’s new revelations, Ms. Mitchell responded that her network had “already reported” the story in the past.  The Media Research Center determined that that “previous reporting” to which Mitchell referred amounted to NBC having spent all of 92 seconds reporting on earlier revelations in 2013.
  • This is what these fake media outlets do whenever they’re faced with an inconvenient scandal involving one or more of their Democrat heroes:  they file a single, perfunctory report on the matter, giving it the most biased slant possible, and then spend the next 20 years claiming that “we already reported that story.”  It’s like getting a flu shot – you take just a smidgen of the nasty stuff in order to make yourself immune from having to go through the full-blown illness.
  • This inoculation strategy is as old as the DC Swamp itself, and this is most likely exactly what the Special Counsel’s office is implementing with its “investigation” into disclosures by the Podesta Group.  By putting up the pretense of looking at a high-powered Democrat lobbying firm for possible technical violations, Mueller and his team are most likely setting the stage for announcing indictments of former Trump campaign adviser Paul Manafort or others who were involved in the campaign.  Not surprisingly, the NBC story even runs a photo of Manafort, and mentions the Mueller team’s early morning raid of his home that took place in July.  Coincidence?  Don’t kid yourself.
  • Thus, when accusations of the Special Counsel’s office’s obvious bias start to come, Mueller will now be able to defend himself and his team by saying “hey, we also looked at this Democrat firm over here.”  See this shiny object?
  • Simple.  Utterly corrupt, but elegantly simple.

Just another day in DC Swamp America.

That is all.

Nancy Pelosi: Leadership Through XX Chromosomes

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Presumably, they picked Mugabe because Idi Amin is dead. – If you wonder why supporters of President Donald Trump (I never get tired of typing that) have no regard at all for international multi-lateral organizations, look no further than the decision by the sleazebags who run the World Health Organization (WHO) to name Zimbabwe thug Robert Mugabe as its newest “World Health Ambassador.”  Yes, Robert Mugabe – I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  For those out of this particular loop, Mugabe has brutalized the Zimbabwean population for decades now, murdering and maiming its citizens on a scale comparable to Fidel Castro.  During his reign of terror, Mugabe has utterly destroyed the nation’s healthcare system for the vast majority of the population there, a system that was once the envy of Africa.  The situation with healthcare in Zimbabwe is so awful, in fact, that Mugabe himself goes to other countries for his own treatments.
  • So naturally, this is the guy who the utterly corrupt people in charge at the WHO, a UN-affiliated organization, choose to honor.  It shouldn’t even need saying at this point, but stuff like this is why Donald Trump is President today.
  • Hey, why not deed that spot to Rep. Clowny McPartyBarn of Florida?  Xe’d be great, and we’re pretty sure xe’s a woman. – Nancy Pelosi appeared with the four screechers on “The View” Friday, and told them that the reason why she needs to remain the head of the Democrat minority in the U.S. House of Representatives is based entirely on her gender.  Not kidding:  “I was ready to go if Hillary won, have a woman at the top of the table, protecting the Affordable Care Act, which is to me similar to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid,” she told the assembled hosts, but she said that she was the only woman at her table at a White House dinner a month ago, so  “that’s why I have to stay there, to be one of the top women, top people at the table.”
  • Well, darn, if the only qualification to be House Minority Leader these days is being a woman, there are plenty of other Democrat women in the House.  Why not give the spot to Maxine Waters?  Doesn’t she count?  How about Debbie Wasserman-Schulz?  She as corrupt as the people at the WHO, and even ran the whole Democrat Party into the ground while Obama was President – why not her?  Or how about Linda Sanchez?  She’s a woman, she’s Hispanic, AND she’s from California, too.  She can sit at a table as well as any other woman, right?  Or how about Clowny McPartyBarn?  She’s a woman, plus she’d be the first rodeo clown to ever become minority leader.  Why not her?
  • Altogether, there are currently 62 Democrat women serving in the House of Representatives today.  If the only qualification to be the Democrats’ minority leader is the possession of two X chromosomes, then why should the Party allow itself to continue to be saddled with SanFranNan’s X chromosomes as its public face?
  • Of course, the truth here is that conservatives everywhere are thrilled to death that Nancy Pelosi remains the face of the Democrat Party, and are hoping and praying she will remain its face through at least the 2018 mid-term elections, and longer.  Her ongoing presence as the dominant Democrat on the national stage virtually ensures that the GOP will increase its Senate majority next year and hold onto its majority in the House.  Republicans love, love, love having SanFranNan to campaign against, and will do anything they can to ensure she continues to cling to power.
  • Speaking of corrupt women who just won’t go away, Hillary Clinton, still shamelessly hawking her terrible book in Britain, told an interviewer on Saturday that she and hubby Bill seriously considered not attending the Trump inauguration, but were convinced otherwise only when they learned the Bushes and Carters would be in attendance.  That claim came just two days after she told another interviewer that she and Bill never even thought about not going, because attending was their duty.  The woman would rather lie than tell the truth, even when it does her no good.  She will never change.

Just another day SanFranNan’s America.

That is all.

Saturday Scattershooting While Wondering What Ever Happened To That Democrat Talk About Gun Control?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Those words are offensive!!!!  uh, except when I use them… – Florida Democrat Congresswoman Clowny McPartyBarn announced late Friday that she would not be saying anything further about President Trump’s call to a Gold Star mom that Ms. McPartyBarn secretly listened in on.  Possibly that’s because she’s just tired of all that darn media attention, but that would be like believing Harvey Weinstein went into rehab because he was just tired of all that darn forced sex.  More likely it’s because video has emerged showing Cong. McPartyBarn using the exact same language at a memorial for policemen who were killed in the line of duty that she claims offended her when it was used by President Trump in his call to the bereaved mother.  Whatever, given her shameless attention-seeking nature and lack of a single redeeming personal quality, we can be sure that we will see Cong. McPartyBarn back on TV before the weekend is out.
  • Democrats in the wake of the Las Vegas Massacre:  We need more gun control!  Guns are the problem!  We must ban guns!!!!!!!!

[Democrats get bad polling numbers on gun control last weekend.]

Democrats this week on the topic of gun control:  ….

  • Speaking of the Las Vegas massacre, what in the world is going on with that “investigation”?  Las Vegas Metro Police Department Sheriff Joe Lombardo, who was so anxious to get before the cameras on a very frequent basis during the first week following the shootings, did not hold a single press briefing this week.  Are we really to believe that an entire week has gone by with no significant new findings in the matter?
  • What about the fake national news media, which has dropped this story like a rock in favor of spending 23 of 24 hours each day interviewing a congressional circus clown?  The obvious answer to this question is that the fake news outlets see that this story is not favorable to their Democrat clients, because the public does not favor gun control and because it is likely the shooter was radicalized by ISIS or some other Islamic terror group.  So they focus on nonsense.
  • Can’t report that, Bob, it doesn’t fit the narrative. – The same is true of the new revelations in the whole Russia Uranium story this week.  To its credit, the very liberal publication The Hill has now run three extremely well-documented, meticulously-sourced stories that contain a series of smoking guns implicating Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Eric Holder and possibly Barack Obama himself in what was clearly a classic play for pay scheme.  So obviously the major networks, CNN, the WaPo and the NYTimes are going to studiously ignore this story for as long as they possibly can.  That’s what they do, and they will only be dragged kicking and screaming into giving this scandal the major attention it deserves if Attorney General Jeff Sessions actually does his job and starts forming up grand juries and issuing indictments.
  • In case you missed it – and it would have been easy to do with all the media attention focused on Cong. McPartyBarn – the U.S. military, in just 9 months under President Donald Trump, has managed to pretty much eradicate ISIS in Syria and Iraq, something Barack Obama refused to even try do to in eight long years.
  • Also in case you missed it, the do-nothing United States Senate actually did something!  Yes, I’m not kidding, the GOP majority in the Senate somehow managed to hang together – with the lone exception of Rand Paul, who hates pretty much everything – and pass a damn budget!  Holy cow, break out the champagne.  Of course, John McCain probably only voted ‘yes’ because he thought he was actually voting on a resolution to impeach Donald Trump, and Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrane thought he was in a shopping mall in Dubuque, Iowa, but hey, whatever works!
  • Of course the bad news is that the budget passed by the Senate has a projected deficit of …wait for it…$666 billion!  That’s never a good sign, according to Revelations.  Then again, maybe Mitch McConnell can get the anti-Christ to help him keep his wayward GOP caucus members in line when it comes time to vote on tax reform.  I mean, it’s not like he’s never done a deal with the Devil before, right?  Like I said, whatever works.  Go for it, Mitch!

Just another day in whatever works America.

That is all.

George W. Bush Comes Out Of Hiding And Shows Where His Real Loyalties Lie

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • God bless General John Kelly for doing what he did yesterday.  It was heart-wrenching watching him get up there and talk about the death of his own son, and an utter disgrace that he had to do it.  It was an act of supreme loyalty for him to go into that room filled with fake journalist snakes and defend his President.  General Kelly has spent his entire adult life in the valiant service of his country, and yesterday’s service should never be forgotten by anyone who loves America.
  • A Bush Finds His Voice – For eight long years, from January 20, 2009 through January 20, 2017, supporters of former President George W. Bush were saddened and frustrated as Mr. Bush sat idly by while his successor in office and his own supporters trashed Bush’s policies, his reputation and his personality on pretty much a daily basis.  For those eight long years, Mr. Bush appeared happy and very much unperturbed as his successor worked overtime to tear down this country’s institutions brick by brick, to foment racial divisions wherever possible, acted in an utterly lawless manner whenever it suited his desires and needs, and, as we are finding out this week, allowed his Secretary of State and Attorney General to literally sell the country’s national security interests to Russia.
  • Mr. Bush seemed to be footloose and fancy free as his successor sat fecklessly by and allowed ISIS  to grow and take over vast swaths of Iraq and Syria, as terrorist attacks in the U.S. and throughout Western Europe multiplied in almost a geometric progression, as North Korea marched steadily towards possessing an intercontinental nuclear capability.
  • During all that time and through all that corruption and destruction of American society, Mr. Bush sat at his Crawford, Texas ranch like a deaf mute, rarely seen in public other than at events at his presidential library on the SMU campus, or other events at which he was paling around with his “Brother from another Mother”, Bill Clinton.  Nothing, no insult, no being blamed by his successor for his own failures, no corruption of government or society by said successor could break Mr. Bush out of his self-imposed silence.
  • It is only this week that Mr. Bush has suddenly found his voice.  As a duly-elected President of his own political party is going about systematically deconstructing the legacy of Mr. Bush’s successor, trying to resolve the crises with Iran and North Korea that both Mr. Bush and his successor punted down the road, dealing with major natural disasters in three states and Puerto Rico, and under a daily withering assault by our fake national news media, Mr. Bush chose this moment to come out of hiding and make a speech criticizing another president.  Unfortunately, and to his undying disgrace, Mr. Bush chose to criticize not his successor and all the damage he perpetrated on our country, but the current President, Donald Trump.
  • In making that speech yesterday, conveniently timed to distract attention from the exploding Russian Uranium/bribery scandal that took place in the first two years of the Obama Administration, the former President removed all doubt about where his real loyalties lie.  Mr. Bush is a Bush after all, and his loyalties are with the establishment, the ruling elite, the globalists who insist we place international interests above the interests of American citizens, and the DC Swamp creatures who continue to work to ensure such outcomes.  He’s just another Bush, like his Dad, like Jeb! and all the other Bushes who are creatures of the ruling elite.  His outlook and philosophy differ from those of the Clintons and the Obamas only by small degrees.
  • By labeling President Trump’s voters as bigots and nativists, Mr. Bush showed an elite’s disdain for the very same voters who got him elected in 2000 and 2004.  By laying off the blame for our current social strife entirely on President Trump, Mr. Bush demonstrated support for the very leftists who are truly responsible for it all. By refusing to condemn the Democrat-invented “resistance”, Mr. Bush showed his preference for the true fascists among us.
  • I’ll never regret supporting George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004, because he was definitely the lesser of two evils in those elections.  But Thursday’s disgracefully timed and delivered speech removed any remaining doubt that he was in fact an evil, and that made it a sad day indeed.

Just another day in betrayed Bush voters America.

That is all.

Roger Goodell: Captain of the NFL Titanic

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Everyone does understand that the ridiculous allegations yesterday against the President by the circus clown-ish congresswoman Frederica Wilson from Florida (of course) were simply Democrat-instigated noise to deflect media attention away from the Russia Uranium story, right?  Right.  Let’s move on.
  • Speaking of Democrat-instigated noise designed to give the fake news media an excuse to ignore the Russia Uranium story, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee chose to re-litigate Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ testimony from his confirmation hearing seven months ago when he appeared before that committee yesterday.  Reiliable sleazeballs Al Franken, Patrick Leahy and Dianne Feinstein led the charge, asking not a single question about anything current or related to anything anyone cares about anymore.  Sessions made the three senators look like fools, but that’s really not difficult to do.  The questioning served its purpose, as fake reporters all over Washington and New York City breathed huge sighs of relief, knowing they’d be able to file stories on the hearing without mentioning anything about Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or the bribery scheme they became involved in with the Russians back in 2009-10.
  • But in fairness to those fake journalists, there wasn’t much to report from this hearing on the Russia Uranium scandal.  Chairman Chuck Grassley brought it up with Sessions, but as soon as Sessions told him he would not comment on any “ongoing investigation”, Grassley dropped the matter like a hot potato.  So I suppose the one smidgen of news in that is that the useless Attorney General appeared to at least confirm that there is an ongoing investigation of the matter within the Justice Department.  Which, let’s be honest, would represent a dramatic departure from his behavior towards all the Obama-era lawlessness during his first seven months in the job.
  • Speaking of people who are not fit to be in their current job brings us straight to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.  Fresh off his mid-season meetings with NFL owners and players in New York, Goodell told the assembled press that they had talked and talked and talked about all sorts of “social justice” stuff and the national anthem and decided that….wait for it….NOTHING WILL CHANGE.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.
  • That’s right.  Goodell said that while he and the owners would “prefer” all players to stand for the national anthem and honor the country that has made them all so fabulously wealthy, he and his feckless group of owners will make no rules changes to require them to do so.  Thus, the NFL will continue to fine players who don’t tuck their shirt in, who don’t wear their socks the correct height, who use towels that don’t meet league regulations, who use too much stick-em on their fingers, who are late to team meetings, who touch the poor quarterback in the wrong place or hit him too hard and for hundreds of other picky rules violations, but they just aren’t able to bring themselves to enforce a little decorum on the sidelines during a ceremony that honors those who have fought and died for our country.
  • The best part of Goodell’s comments came when proved he can’t count, saying that “The fact is that we have about half a dozen players that are protesting.”  Hell, you had twice that many New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens taking a knee this past weekend, and dozens of others doing the same in other games played before half-empty stadiums and depressed TV audiences around the league.
  • The Commissioner was so, so proud, though of all the touchy-feely discussions he and the players had about social justice matters about which NFL fans don’t give a damn.  “They’re talking about criminal justice reform, whether it’s bail reform. Whether it’s talking about mandatory sentencing. They’re talking about changes that, I think, will make our communities better — that there’s bipartisan support for and that need focus.”  Yes, I did not make that up – the Commmissioner of the NFL is suddenly pretending to be an expert on which issues have “bipartisan support”.  Holy crap.
  • Roger Goodell obviously doesn’t understand it, but he is the captain of the Titanic at this point.  (Come to think of it, the Captain of the Titanic didn’t understand his problem, either, until he ran into that iceberg.)   His league’s audience is dropping like a rock, his stewardship of the league is an abject disaster, and he has completely lost favor with the support base for the political party that is, by the way, the vast majority political party across the nation at this point.
  • His business depends heavily on its anti-trust exemption, for which there is literally no good justification at all at this time, and on the very favorable tax treatments it receives at all government levels.  Mr. Goodell appears to have no understanding at all of the political peril his league faces if these protests against our country continue.
  • That iceberg is sitting out there right now, just over the horizon, and Roger Goodell has his Titanic of a league headed right for it.

Just another day in clueless NFL commissioner America.

That is all.

The Russia Uranium Story Is A Chance For Our Useless Attorney General To Finally Step Up To The Plate

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Our thus-far useless Attorney General Jeff Sessions will likely finally be put on the spot today, as he testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee.  Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is expected to question Sessions about his knowledge of a Russian bribery scheme that took place during the early Obama years, and involved kickbacks to government officials and massive Russian money going to the Clinton Crime Family fake Foundation, along with millions of dollars in “speaker’s fees” to former President Bill Clinton.
  • The payoff for the Russians was, of course, the awarding of a federal permit to buy Uranium One, a company that controls about 20% of U.S. uranium assets, by a Russian firm in which Vladimir Putin owns an interest.  The approval of that permit was made by what the Obama Administration called the Committee On Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), on which both Attorney General Eric Holder and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were members.  Imagine that.
  • We’ve all known the basics of this scam for years, but assumed that James Comey’s FBI and Holder’s Justice Department simply looked the other way and allowed then-Sec. Clinton to coordinate all this money laundering with impunity.  But it turns out that the FBI actually did investigate this matter during 2009-10, and found criminal wrongdoing before Holder and likely then-President Obama put a halt to it.
  • All of that and more is contained in a story broken on Tuesday by reporters John Solomon and Alison Spann for The Hill.  Grassley apparently became aware of this situation last week, and sent letters to all relevant federal agencies who had members on CFIUS, demanding they produce documentation that would indicate whether their representative on the committee had knowledge of this FBI investigation when they voted to approve the sale of Uranium One to Russia.
  • Grassley, who is famously plain-spoke when he is angry, had this to say about the matter on Tuesday:  “It has recently come to the Committee’s attention that employees of Rosatom were involved in a criminal enterprise involving a conspiracy to commit extortion and money laundering during the time of the CFIUS transaction.  The fact that Rosatom subsidiaries in the United States were under criminal investigation as a result of a U.S. intelligence operation apparently around the time CFIUS approved the Uranium One/Rosatom transaction raises questions about whether that information factored into CFIUS’ decision to approve the transaction.”
  • It is into this breach that our thus-far useless Attorney General steps today.  Mr. Sessions has to this point very conveniently recused himself from anything having to do with Russia – because he had a meeting with the Russian Ambassador during the presidential campaign – as a means of facilitating his reluctance to deal with all of the rampant lawlessness that took place during the Obama Administration.  It is this baseless recusal that led to the appointment of Special Counsel Bob Mueller, and to the continued stonewalling of several congressional investigations and court cases by the FBI.  While many conservatives who support President Trump – myself included – were excited about the Sessions appointment when it was made, he has turned out to be one of the most disappointing hires made by this President.
  • While the fake news media – other than The Hill – are doing their best to ignore this story, given that it involves wrongdoing by so many of their Democrat heroes, today is actually a very pivotal moment for the Trump Administration.  If Mr. Sessions continues his posing as having a reason to recuse himself from Russia matters, even as they have absolutely nothing to do with the Trump presidential campaign, then that should be cause for the President to fire him and replace him with someone who really is interested in doing this job.
  • What this story shows us clearly is that the entire “Russia Collusion” fantasy play foisted on the public by the Democrats, the fake news media and willing Republican sympathizers in congress since last November is nothing but another classic case of Clintonian projection strategy.  The Clintons – and the Obama Administration – were involved in collusion with the Russian government throughout Hillary Clinton’s time as Secretary of State, and, when Trump won the election, knew that all of this would likely come to light.
  • The Clintonian strategy in situations like this has always been to get ahead of such revelations by accusing their opponents of the very same kind of wrongdoing first, in order to divert public attention away from their own actions.  The real collusion here has been between the Clintons, the Obamas, the fake news media and swamp-dwelling Republicans who have facilitated their projection strategy, even to the point of creating a special counsel to investigate the fantasy.
  • Today is Jeff Sessions’ chance to prove his is up to the job he’s held since February.  I’m looking for a reason to think he will prove worthy of the task, but am having a really hard time finding one.  We’ll just have to wait and see.

Just another day in Russia Collusion America.

That is all.

So You’ve Screwed Up Your Life? Blame Trump!

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Is it just me, or does it seem like everybody – and I do mean everybody – who has done something to screw up their life in any way, shape or form has taken to blaming President Donald J. Trump as a coping mechanism for their own failures?  Think about it.
  • Take Harvey Weinstein as an example – what was this repugnant tub of goo’s first instinct when the NYTimes published its expose’ on his quarter century of abusing women?  If you remember, he thought he could innoculate himself from any fallout from his 100% leftwing Hollywood peers by taking a leave of absence from his company so he could dedicate himself to fighting the NRA (virtue signal related to the Las Vegas massacre that had taken place six days earlier) and …wait for it…Donald Trump!
  • But – oops! – it turns out that promising to go around playing the “Blame Trump” card doesn’t inoculate you against 25 years of soiling potted plants and blackmailing ambitious young ingenues into having sex with you in exchange for movie roles.  It turns out that even Hollywood has some standards, and who could have ever guessed that?
  • Then there’s Bowe Bergdahl, that traitorous Army deserter who Barack Obama and Susan Rice consider to be a great American “hero”.  Obama thought so highly of Bergdahl that he was willing to trade five terrorist scum in order to get this “hero”  – who had cost six truly brave American soldiers their lives as they searched Afghanistan trying to find him – released by the Taliban.  After pleading guilty to desertion in his court martial, Bergdahl said he was doing so because he felt he could not get a fair trial due to things said by …wait for it… Donald Trump!  Yeah, none of it’s your fault, bud.
  • NFL Football players and owners – The pre-game protests by NFL players of the flag and national anthem went on for well over a year without a word about it coming from the very busy mouth of candidate Trump or President Trump.  NFL ratings were tanking and game attendance dying throughout the 2016 season as a result, and that tanking continued into the 2017 season before the President had anything to say about it.  But when the President decided to go off on these players and owners and commissioner Roger Goodell, why, suddenly it was all about Trump.
  • The players, who let’s be honest, really had pretty much no idea why they were kneeling out there other than some vague multi-millionaire game player’s notion of being “oppressed”, suddenly decided that their demonstrations were all about Trump.  Yeah, that’s the ticket!  Many of the owners joined in because, well, they just had to show “solidarity” with their players because…because, ummm, welllll…because TRUMP!  Yeah, because Trump! That’s what it is!  Meanwhile, Goodell is thrilled by it all because everyone’s blaming Trump instead of him.  The Trump boogeyman works for all parties in this one.
  • The Most Corrupt Woman In America – Then there’s our very favorite leftwing slinger of nonsense and sleaze, Hillary Rotten, er, Rodham Clinton.  This pathetic woman has parlayed abject corruption into a net worth of more than $200 million, and has spent the year blaming her 2016 election loss and everything else that is wrong with the world on – who else? – President Trump.  Even the broken toe she claims to have suffered on Saturday while running up the stairs is no doubt the President’s fault – the vodka and diet Dr. Pepper had nothing to do with it.
  • Then there is San Juan’s Crazy Little Marxist Mayor, Carmen Cruz, who has now completely discarded all pretense of not being a communist and has taken to dressing up as Che Guevara in her press availabilities.  The government of Puerto Rico in general and in San Juan in particular has been a cesspit of corruption forever, and Ms. Cruz has done nothing to remedy any of that.  The Island’s infrastructure, thanks in large part to government officials siphoning off money for themselves and their friends – as all good Marxists do – was in horrible shape before Hurricane Maria hit, and was basically destroyed completely by the storm.
  • Despite the fact that the U.S. government has come into the island with literally thousands of military, FEMA and other recovery workers, massive amounts of supplies, and more generators than anywhere else on the face of the earth, progress has been slowed by the fact that the local trucker’s union decided this tragedy was a great time to go on strike, an action the crazy little Mayor supports.  So, when the people of your island are suffering mainly due to your own corruption and ideological stupidity, what do you do?  Why, you get in front of any CNN camera you can find and blame Trump!  Works like charm.
  • Finally, there’s the repugnant John McCain, literally the worst person who has ever served in the United States Senate.  In receiving some “Liberty Medal” from his ideological sympatico Joe Biden on Monday, McCain had this to say:  “To abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe” and “refuse the obligations of international leadership … for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems” is “As unpatriotic as an attachment to any other tired dogma of the past that Americans consigned to the ash heap of history.”
  • So, putting America  and Americans first, ahead of McCain’s and Biden’s globalist, open borders ideology, is “unpatriotic”, in McCain’s view.  He didn’t say which government – the U.N. perhaps? – it is “unpatriotic” towards.
  • But this is McCain’s swan song, blaming Trump for preventing him from “solving problems.”  Think about that – can you think of a single problem John McCain ever solved in his entire 30+ years in government?  Neither can I.
  • That’s not Trump’s fault.  Trump’s just the boogeyman.

Just another day in Blame Trump! America.

That is all.

Harvey Weinstein Is Not A Joking Matter

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Yesterday morning I told you that the Clinton Crime Family Foundation was not going to give up one thin dime of the quarter million it received from disgraced former Hollywood high muckety-muck Harvey Weinstein.  As if like clockwork, by the day’s end, a spokesman for the big slush fund tweeted that – guess what? – not one thin dime of Weistein’s hush money would be returned or given to a real charity.  And hey, if you’re the Clintons, why pretend to be anything other than the clawing, grasping, money-hoarding sleazebags everyone knows they are?  It’s gotten them this far, the fake news media will cover for them, and a week from now this will all be as forgotten in the national consciousness as the death of Vince Foster.
  • Speaking of Harvey Weinstein, it appears to me that the nation reached “Peak Weinstein” over this past weekend.  The clearest indicator of that reality is the edict in pop culture that you cannot joke about Harvey Weinstein and his crimes.  Un-funny late night TV host James Corden, with whom I am so unfamliar that I had to google his name to get the spelling right, found this out the hard way when he was lambasted in social media and later, the legacy media for telling a bunch of not funny Weinstein jokes during a gig hosting a charity event Saturday evening.
  • After Actor/Producer/Director Rose McGowan led the Twitter-based roasting of Corden, the comic issued a formal apology for his offending remarks.  Given that Ms. McGowan alleges that she was raped by Weinstein and then black-balled by his Hollywood sex offender support group that pervades Hollywood’s debased culture, it’s easy to see why she and other women who Weinstein abused during his 30-year reign of terror don’t think any of this is a laughing matter.  That seems pretty obvious, doesn’t it?
  • Welllllllllllllllll, not if you’re veteran sportscaster Al Michaels, apparently.  By the time Micheals went on the air Sunday night, the Corden controversy had been swirling for a good 20 hours, but he must’ve missed the NBC memo about the whole dust-up.  Or maybe NBC’s management didn’t sent out a memo, assuming their sportscasters wouldn’t be making on-air jokes about a big Hollywood muckety-muck’s travails, preferring instead to focus on things like maybe which team had the most attention-seeking players taking a knee for the national anthem.
  • But no, Michaels decided it would be really cool right in the middle of the game to compare the week the New York Giants had had to Weinstein’s week, to which his more-alert partner Chris Collinsworth responded with about six seconds of radio silence.  Yikes.  Naturally, Michaels then obviously got his memo from higher-ups at NBC, and soon after the broadcast ended he also issued a formal apology for telling a stupid joke about a subject that is not funny.
  • So, a note to all you comics and aspiring comics out there, longing to whip out your repertoire of Harvey Weinstein jokes:  Stop.  Just stop.  Nothing about what Harvey Weinstein did is funny.  Oh, there is tons of irony in this situation, as it applies to Hollywood’s larger depraved culture and to all the Democrat politicians – especially anyone named Clinton or Obama – who are desperate to find ways to keep Weinstein’s hush money, but none of this is funny.  Women were raped here, abused in heinous ways, their careers and lives destroyed by an out-of-control monster who everyone in Hollywood knew about for years and did nothing to stop him.
  • What the Weinstein scandal is, is tragic.  The most tragic aspect of it is that Weinstein is far from the only monster out there, and in fact most likely is just a representative of an overall culture of abuse that probably will be allowed to continue to exist as the fake news media, which is desperate to shift the public’s attention off of its Democrat benefactors who bathed in Weinstein’s money, moves on to other, faker news.
  • Thus, within a few weeks, it will most likely be business as usual for all the harassers, rapists and pedophiles who dominate Hollywood culture, and the average American with the attention span of a field mouse will go right back to paying six bucks for a 64 oz. Diet Coke while watching mediocre films at their local cineplex.
  • That, friends, is no joking matter.

Just another day in short attention span America.

That is all.

Yes, CNN, Trump Is Reversing Obama’s “Legacy”. That’s Why He Won.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • So, the members of the Motion Picture Academy, a large portion of whom are no doubt sexual abusers of one form or another themselves, voted to kick Harvey Weinstein out of the membership of their illustrious group.  Boy, that’ll show him.
  • Late night talk show host and un-funny comic Jimmy Kimmel, fresh off of being proclaimed to be “America’s moral conscience” by some idiot writing for CNN, told a CNN fake journalist on Friday that “I am not America’s moral conscience.”  Can somebody please let me know when this particular debate is over?  Thanks.
  • If you’re thinking the Clinton family is really going to return any of that Weinstein hush money they received over the last 20 years, watch the video at this link of Chelsea Clinton fleeing to the safety of her car to avoid answering any questions about it on Saturday.  Not one thin dime of that quarter million that went into the Clinton Crime Family Fake Foundation will go anywhere else.  Forget about it.
  • Don’t look now – ok, go ahead and look – but the fake journalists who infest CNN are waking up to the fact that President Donald Trump (I still never get tired of typing that) is – gasp! – focusing his efforts on reversing the anti-American legacy of Barack Obama.  Why, the nerve!
  • Writing on CNN’s website on Friday, that keeper of the Obama flame Chris Cilizza says that “The key to understanding Trump’s motivations here are entirely contained in the ACA’s shorthand nickname: Obamacare. It’s named after the man — former President Barack Obama (duh) — who shepherded it into existence. And that’s exactly why Trump wants to get rid of it.”  Yes, to the nitwits who pretend to be reporters and opinionists at Obama Central, Trump’s dismantling of an utterly failed government takeover of 1/6th of the nation’s economy has literally nothing to do with the undeniable fact that it is horrible policy that has taken many millions of Americans completely out of the health insurance system, and is 100% because Trump just doesn’t like Obama.
  • This is what CNN calls “insightful analysis.”  My goodness.
  • Cilizza cannot bring himself to acknowledge the truth about Trump’s order to rescind Obama’s executive order that gave hundreds of millions in subsidies each year to insurance companies, which is that Obama’s order was patently unconstitutional.  The Constitution clearly requires that all federal spending must be authorized by congress, and congress never authorized those payments.  The fact is that Trump’s order is simply one piece of his ongoing campaign to return this country to the rule of law, a concept that was studiously ignored during Obama’s 8 years in office.
  • So yes, the Trump presidency has thus far been largely focused on reversing the legacy of lawlessness that preceded it.  this used to be known as responsible governance.
  • And what a success this effort to erase the Obama legacy from our midst has been thus far.  With the reversal of literally thousands of terrible, economy-killing regulations and dozens of patently illegal executive orders, Trump’s administration has demonstrated that the Obama “legacy” was almost entirely built on a foundation of matchsticks that would go up in flames with the election of any president who actually cares about the country.
  • While the fake news media has done its best to ignore it, President Trump’s reversals of Obama’s failed legacy have also extended to the War on Terror, and the destruction of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, which is largely complete.  Literally thousands of ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq have surrendered over the past few weeks with barely a mention on the nightly newscasts, and ISIS is on the verge of defeat in the key strongholds of Raqqa and Mayadeen, leaving Boukamal as the terror group’s lone remaining harbor.
  • Thus, just 9 months into his presidency, Trump’s military leaders have, working with Syria and others, almost wiped out the terrorist group that Obama fooled around with and allowed to grow throughout his second term in office.  Chris Cilizza is no doubt horrified by this as well.
  • But out here in Flyover Country, us Normals are pretty happy to see ISIS being wiped out, the stock market setting records almost every day, the economy booming, our manufacturing industries investing tens of billions of dollars in new plants and equipment, and even about having a President who is willing to refer to Christmas as “Christmas.”
  • Chris Cilizza and the rest of the Obama-worshippers at CNN will never understand it, but all of this is exactly why Donald Trump is our President today.

Just another day in fake news America.

That is all.
